It's too dark! My feet hurt!" Sonata's mouth was grabbed by the hand of her sister who was finally fed up with her talking. "Shut up Sonata you're the worst!" Aria Blaze snapped at her trembling sister she knew her little sister well enough to know that the dark scared her and when she got scared she talked. A lot. Aria took her hand away from Sonata's mouth, "Let's move on I don't know why Dagi called us back here or why we had to meet in the darkest hallway in the school but she said something about the Rainflops and their stupid band so we both have to hear her out about this." Sonata squeaked and nodded hurriedly, not that Aria could see her do so, "Ok but at least tell me how much longer we are going to be walking, my legs are killing me!" Aria snapped again, "Look Sonata it's your fault we lost the car if you didn't go to that damn party with that stupid red haired freakshow from this place then you wouldn't have gotten the car impounded so shut up and keep walking we're almost there!" Sonata frowned and started up walking again trying to take lighter steps as her feet were starting to hurt more and more after they walked 16 miles from their secluded house away from town to the school. Finally, Aria stopped at the door to the last classroom in the hallway, "Room 116, just like Dagi said, let's hope she wasn't just screwing around wth us." She slowly extended her hand towards the door handle and before she touched the knob it started turning. The door swung open to reveal a dimly lit room where in the corner sat a shadowy figure with a black hoodie on in one of the many desks that filled the classroom. "Oh girls I'm so glad you made it, this is going to be a very fun discussion, we have some decisions to make!" Adagio came out from behind the door and gestured for the two girls to step inside. They slowly both made their way inside the room both carefully eying the stranger in the corner. "You see girls I may have found a way to get back at those girls for ruining our lives and shattering our pendants, this man, his name is Swift Blade he is a very nice man who does very not nice things to people for the right price, he is willing to help us take out those girls that we hate so much he even offered a discount for the more people we target, so tell me do you want revenge on the girls who destroyed our lives?" Aria Blaze smiled, "Dagi, you know I'm in I would do anything to get back at those girls, especially that Pink one, she was the worst!" Adagio turned to Sonata who was turning from the man in the corner to her aching feet, "I'll join you guys but on one condition." Both her sisters leaned in to hear what their baby sister was going to say, "I don't wanna walk back to the house!" Both her sisters facepalmed and sighed. There suddenly came a chuckle from the back of the room, the man at the desk stood up and walked over to the girls, Aria spoke up "What? Dagi I thought you said he was going to help with our problem he looks almost as skinny as Sonata before she discovered tacos!" The man grunted and pulled out a small dagger and held it up to the wall and slowly sunk his dagger into the drywall with ease. "Ok, sorry dude you didn't look like you had it in you whatever but I'm not carrying Sonata back so you have to deal with it Dagi!" Sonata ran out of the room and quickly down the hall. "Ugh!" Adagio groaned and caught sight of the man still smiling to himself by the wall, she took out her wallet and handed him a fifty, "Take her home, the address is 3372 Halder Road." and with that said she turned on her heel and walked out of the room. Sonata wasn't listening to anything that just happened she was sitting by the door with her boot in one hand poking her foot with the other hand, "This is it, my foot is dying... want to have the last taco meal together before you die little buddy?" She slowly put on her boot again and stood up to look around and see she was left alone with this strange man she had never even heard of before. She shook and looked around sporadically as if looking for somewhere to hid from his gaze. "Alright Sonata lets get you home ok?" Sonata quickly looked up and saw the face of the person in the room with her, without his dark hood on she could now get a look at his very uncovered face, he looked like a normal guy, even kinda cute, but still, she didn't know him and he was slowly coming closer towards her. He held out his hand towards her and smiled. Sonata flinched "I'm sorry I don't know you I'm a little scared." she gasped and covered her mouth I should not have said that this is going to end really bad he is gonna hurt me... or worse... Swift laughed and took his hand back, "Don't worry Sonata no one has told me to do anything to you, I'm not a bad guy I've just fallen into something bad there is no need to worry about me I promise." He smiled down at Sonata who was still looking around the room refusing to make eye contact with the other person in the room. "Alright, I'll tell you what if it makes you more comfortable with me I will take you and coincidentally your foot for your next taco meal." Sonata's eyes light up and her head jerks towards him, "TACOS!" Sonata smiled and stood up but quickly sat down again while holding her foot. "Ohh ouchie, that hurts." Swift looked down at her foot and an idea came to him, he knelt down and put an arm around her neck then his other arm under her legs beneath her knees and slowly lifted her upwards. Sonata gasped. "Don't worry you won't have to walk around on that foot those boots probably aren't that great for walking around in." Sonata giggled, "Yeah I have a few blisters, they really do hurt. You're pretty strong being able to just pick me up like this." She looked down at the ground and put her arms around his neck for support, "So about those tacos?" Swift laughed again, "Yeah totally Ms. Dusk shall we go to McTaco King?" Sonata nodded and they both left the classroom together smiling. After an hour they were just finishing their tacos, Sonata then spoke up, with a mouthful of taco. "So what is it my sister wants you to do to the girls is it going to be fun to watch?" A piece of beef got stuck in Swift's throat because of the sudden question and he coughed, "Well Sonny you see I don't think it is a real good idea to tell you, you seem really nice and innocent I don't really want to ruin that for you." Sonata frowned and put her arms on the table "Well what do you mean I'm innocent? No, I'm not I can be tough just watch this!" Sonata grabbed her tray and stood up and she immediately sat down again, "Oh ow! Stupid blisters! This is not over mister I'm not innocent!" Swift laughed "Alright Ms. Dusk whatever you say, well it's 11:48 now do you want to get a ride home with me or what?" Sonata looked up and yawned, damn that was a cute yawn, Swift thought to himself and chuckled, he held out his hand to Sonata and she grabbed it, he pulled her to her feet and they both stumbled out of the taco joint after Swift paid the bill. "Here you go M'lady" Swift held the passenger door of his car open for her, then closed it when she got in. Oh boy she is one of the cutest things I've ever seen I need to keep my cool though, can't mix business with pleasure with that he opened the driver door of his car and got in. Ten minutes later they were nearing the Dazzling's old house which was currently occupied by Sonata and very rarely, Aria, who despite their indifferences had stayed quite close since the incident. "So will you at least tell me, Oh make a right here!" Swift turned the car right and chuckled. "Sorry, ok now will you tell me what you plan on doing to at least one of the girls? Are you like a criminal?" Swift sighed, "Sonata listen, I really do want to tell you and I really want to be your friend but I don't know if I should mix business with pleasure you know what I mean?" Sonata looked down then back up with a different look in her eyes, it almost looked like, arousal? "Uh, Sonata are you feeling ok? You don't look too hot right now." Swift pulled into her driveway and looked back at Sonata. "Oh I'm sorry am I not hot enough for you?" She started to undo some clips from her top. "STOP!" Swift yelled boldly. Sonata was shaken out of her little act and looked scared at the man who had just yelled at her, "S-Sorry Sonata b-b-but I just uh..." The ability to speak proper English had left him. Sonata changed her look right away from a look of fear to a look of mischief, "Swift? Have you ever had a girl undress in front of you?" Swift just stuttered even more with a look of fear that a girl might find out the truth about him. "Haha, and you called me innocent!" Sonata redid her clip and smiled at Swift then she leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Call me when you are finally able to talk again. I'd love to maybe find out more about you." She then put down a piece of paper on his dashboard and got out of the car, but instantly got back in, "Hehe, hey Swift want to maybe help me up the stairs and in the door?" Swift nodded not shifting his gaze from her face for a second, He blinked and quickly got out of his car to get Sonata. "Ok, the key is right here!" Sonata reached into the bush beside her porch and unlocked the door to her house, Swift quickly walked in and set Sonata down in the atrium of her home she knelt down and took off her boots then she stood back up and chuckled, "Sorry Swifty there is no elevator can you carry me to my room?" Swift smiled and held out his arms as Sonata slowly climbed on. "Up those stairs and it is the second door on your left." Sonata then let her head rest on Swift's arm and she slowly closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Swift carried her up to the room and tried to open the door, it was locked, but Sonata was already fast asleep in his arms, he didn't really want to wake her so he again crept down the stairs trying to make as little noise as possible, he crept around till he found what looked like the living room and put her down on the couch and went to sit in the little armchair in the far corner of the room where he too, fell asleep to the quiet whistling of the wind outside. The last thing he remembered thinking was I am so going to do the best job I can do for this girl. Swift awoke to the crack of thunder he looked around and remembered everything that had happened last night he then looked out the window and saw that it was raining pretty hard outside, No way I can make it to my car now. He thought. He then looked at his watch, 5:28, "Well that's unfortunate." Swift said as he stood up and stretched, he then looked to Sonata on the couch and frowned as he noticed the big red blisters on her feet, and she was shivering and she had a big frown on her sleeping face as well. He walked over to the nearest closet and opened it, it was full of blankets and pillows, "Who needs this many pillows and blankets?" As he took a blanket and a few pillows out of the closet a cookie feel by his feet, it had a note attached to it, "To whom it may concern this is a cookie for emergencies only! A COOKIE EMERGENCY! Property of Pinkie Pie but you can eat it if you want I will make more" and then a big pink smiley face Swift smiled and took the cookie with him too, he set the cookie on the table by Sonata's head and started to put the blankets on her, she smiled in her sleep as he lifted her head to put a pillow under her. Swift looked around and saw a hallway that lead to what looked like a bathroom, he walked over and looked inside, it was indeed a bathroom, he opened a cabinet and found exactly what he was looking for, band-aids, he took out four and walked out back to the living room and got a band-aid ready he slowly and lightly put it over one of her blisters, after all the blisters were dealt with he went and sat back down in the little armchair and looked outside as he shivered. Only seconds after he sat down he heard a voice, "You know you could always come and lay with me if you're a bit cold." Swift jumped and turned to see Sonata staring at him sleepily, "That was some really nice stuff you just did for me you know, thank you." "Yeah, no problem." Swift's face turned beet red and he looked away from the half asleep girl on the couch. "Um if I may ask, why didn't you stop me?" Sonata giggled, "You're cute when you're flustered, I wanted to see just how far you would go just to make some random person feel better and you would even go as far as to put band-aids on the feet of someone who hasn't showered in a full day now, so either you are the weirdest guy I've ever met or you like me as much or more than I like you, and in either case I would like you to stay with me for the day and be my boyfriend for more than the day, what do you say Swifty?" Swift looked at her in shock, "Really? You want me to be your boyfriend? We barely know each other!" Sonata frowned and Swift could see tears coming to her eyes, she closed her eyes and slouched down to put her head in her hands. Swift walked over to her and sat down on the couch and lifted her head up with his index finger and he smiled at her now teary mascara filled face, "That wasn't a no Ms. Dusk" Sonata's face lit up and she jumped up off the couch and quickly landed on the couch again. "Sorry, forgot the blisters." Sonata giggled. Swift laughed and took her hand and kissed the top of her head, "It's fine, I don't mind being there to carry you when you can't walk." Sonata put her head onto his shoulders and they both slowly drifted off into a peaceful slumber through the rain and lightning.
