It took Curt a long time to get back to his home in Manehattan, the amount of miles he drove was above almost all else. He parked next to his apartment building, the streets were busy with traffic, so he had to deal with that as well.

He stepped out of his car, a 1959 Cadillac, it was a dark green with classic leather seats. A thing of absolute beauty. Anyway, he walked to the door and opened it, nothing special, he walked up the stairs carrying his big duffel bag which had clothes, and his riffle case, so very heavy.

He was about to fall asleep, because it was about 10 in the evening, and he's been up for more hours than he should have been up. He got up to the 2nd floor of the apartment.

He walked up to the door and knocked, he heard a female say, "Coming!" He waited there for a few moments before the door unlocked and opened.

It was a little pony named Coco Pommel. (You all know her and her place most likely) She said, "Curt!" He got on one knee and hugged her, but before they left each other's arms they had a quick kiss.

"I've been waiting to come back."

She replied, "I've been counting the days, and it was about a week. Oh and I have a nice dinner waiting before we.... Go to bed." She said turning around flipping her tail up showing Curt the 'goods'.

Without hesitation he grabbed his bag up and entered the apartment.

After they ate a beautifully made salad with amazing cake she got at a bakery, they sat at the table, very full from all the food. Curt said, "Well that was damn fine, now how about we retire to bed?"

"I'd love that, but let's wait a minute, I'm very full from dinner."

"Ulgh, fair point Coco."

She asked, "So what did you do during your trip?"

"Well, I helped out a very angry customer, but once it was done, he was very happy and he even gave me a large tip for excellence."

"Wow, you really helped him with his business huh."

"Yep, I sure did. Now you remember when you told me you wanted to get out of the city for awhile, and I said I'll think about it?"

"I do, so?"

"How about a whole week in Canterlot, in a five star hotel, the best restaurants, and all the shopping you can handle, how does that sound?"

"I love it! But is there a catch?"

"Just one, the day after we would arrive, I need to help a customer, so I'll be gone for most of the day until everything settles down."

She sighed, "Alright, if you must. But someday, I want to settle down with you, have a family, you staying around for more than a week at a time."

He got up and hugged her, "In like 2 years or so, we'll be able to retire in absolute style, we'll never have to worry about money again. I love you, more than anything else in Equestria and on Earth."

She smiled before saying, "I love you to, I just want to be around you more."

"I know, in time time that dream will become a reality." She leaned over and started to kiss him, he drove in and kissed right back, before long they were making out, and heading towards the bedroom."

For the next hour or so there were noises that made you wonder what was going on, and whales so loud, it made dogs bark around the city. They even got noise complaints from all the neighbors, but she'll bake some cookies and apologize later.

After that time Curt and Coco were laying in a small, yet very nice bed, both dripping with sweat, Curt's lower body was covered, and part of Coco's lower half was covered to, but a it of side teat showed. "Oh wow, that was fucking amazing." Said Curt.

"Well said, it was.. Fucking amazing." He looked over at her and chuckled a bit. She got on top of him and they started to cuddle, "I love you so much." Said Coco.

All Curt could say was, "I love you too." And they fell asleep.

That morning Curt woke up, seeing his love asleep on top of him, she was absolutely adorable, all the could do was brush her mane with his hand. He said, "I wish I could tell you who I really am." He sighed right before she started to wake up, she yawned and said.

"Good morning Curt, how did you sleep?"

He replied, "Very well, sleeping after sex is very nice."

"I couldn't agree more, now how about I run down and grab us some donuts while you shower?"

"Actually, how about we share a shower, then you get donuts, while I make the bed and make one of my famous pots of coffee?"

"That sounds perfect."

Once they finished the half hour shower, Coco left for donuts, while Curt made the bed, it took him less than 5 minutes the coffee, 30 seconds and it was about ready. So he sat down and pulled out a laptop.

He looked up the name of his target, along with as much information on the guy he can get on Robert Yoki. He got the age, face, and where the perfect spot would be just from his twitter, he also found out that Robert is the lawyer on a giant peace agreement between Earth, and Equestria.

Turns out this guy was a big influence on a law that would be placed, it would make sure all companies gave the same benefits to their employs, along with a fair wage. Curt was impressed by what this guy had done. But it was to late, he accepted the job, and he has to complete it, or die trying.

"I wish I could move on with my life, I'm sick and fucking tired of killing people, I just want to live in peace. But that may never happen, wait, why am I talking to myself out loud?" Just then he heard the door unlock, so he quickly closed all the tabs on the laptop and placed it on the nightstand.

Coco walked in carrying a bag in her mouth, it smelled of freshly baked donuts, Curt ran over and helped.

The food and coffee was set on the table as they sat on the couch, it's seen better days, but it worked. There was a small flat screen TV on the wall, they flipped it on to an Equestrian show, Coco asked Curt.

"So, about that trip to Canterlot."

"Ya?"

"When are we leaving and where are we staying."

He finished chewing his donut hole, he calmly replied, "We're hopefully gonna leave this Friday, and we will be staying at the Continental hotel, the new one."

Her eyes widened, "Oh my, I've wanted to stay there, oh I've heard so many wonderful things about it, but how can you afford it?"

"I have my ways, I work with the Continental on certain issues that I can't say."

"Why not?"

"That's classified in my agreement." There was a small silence before Coco asked.

"Well, today I was gonna finish the costumes for 'My Fair Filly', so Friday works with me." Curt smiled as he took a swig of coffee.

After a long day of Coco finishing up on the costumes, and Curt helping where he could, they packed up, fell asleep. And were now getting ready to go.

Curt's car was fully packed, all that was needed to do was walk out, Coco double checked her costumes, which took a bit of time, but that gave Curt more time to research the Canterlot layout, and he even found the perfect spot, at the right time, to take the shot. Coco asked.

"You ready?"

"Ya babe!" He slid his laptop in a small carrying bag. They locked the apartment and walked down, once they got to Curt's car they drove. It took a couple of hours, but the highway wasn't that bad, once they reached Canterlot Curt looked at the time, it was only 2 in the afternoon, he didn't plan for it to take as short time as it did.

When they drove into the city limits, all the of beauty, glamour, hustle and bustle filled Coco's eyes, she was loving this. He asked, "So, how's it going so far?"

"It's so beautiful, but I'm actually a little bit peckish."

Curt realized that they haven't had lunch yet, so he said, "I know this city, but one of the best eateries, that's decently priced, it cafe De'jorn in the Continental, trust me, the food is to die for, plus I have reservation tonight for the 'Tasty treat'."

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go."

Once they reached the Continental, Curt and Coco got out, the valet stared at Curt for a moment before saying, "Welcome back sir." Curt handed the valet his keys, and two doormen got the bags and both of them said.

"Welcome back mister Curt."

The Continental itself was much like the Continental in the movie 'John Wick'. Which was.

Curt and Coco entered the luxurious building, the lobby was absolutely stunning, the floor was solid quartz with a nice red carpet leading to the stairs, elevators, and the concierge (the one you talk to to get your room if you didn't know)

There were chairs and tables set up on the right side of the hotel, each was nice comfy leather, the tables were also quartz and they looked like they were coming out of the floor. The concierge desk was rounded with solid spruce wood carved to an almost angelic pattern.

The top part was covered by metal bars with a hole where the concierge could do business. The left had a set of stairs if you didn't want to use the elevators

The hotel had a very nice smell to it, it was lavender mixed with a hint of cinnamon. They walked up to the front desk, it was manned by a slightly older black man, he wore glasses, and had little to no hair, he asked in a very high brow voice.

"Welcome, I believe you booked a week?"

"Yes I did Jhon, and could you make that, a private suite?" Curt slipped him a gold coin, Coco barely noticed.

"For you, anything. Alright, you're room is on the top floor, suite 3."

"Nice, we'll just eat here first, then check out the suite."

"Very well, have a nice day mister Curt."

"You to Jhon." Curt and Coco walked to the right, and headed into the cafe, the maitre d saw Curt and immediately sat them down next to a window, looking out at a very nice street.

They were given water and complementary champagne, the table was very nice, potted flowers, nice leather booths, and it was partly covered with walls separating the different areas.

Coco asked, "So, this is what you do on the business trips?"

"Not always, most of the time I spend just 5 hours here, and that's sleep. The rest of the time I'm working."

"That's another question I have, what do you do?"

He pondered for a moment, "Well, I help with on site checkups, much like a health inspector, but I look at each detail for my client, once I check it all out, I access if it's worthy of Continental business."

She asked, "Well, there are probably a lot of places that want the Continental's business. But a week?"

Just as Curt was about to say something, but a man walked up to the booth, he was wearing a standard black suit with a solid red necktie, he had very fancy dress shoes that were also black. His face was white with green eyes, he had a large, but thin scar down his right cheek.

He said, "Curt? Is that you?"

Curt's eyes grew, "Oh my god! Aks!" Curt got up and the two men hugged each other, "Oh wow, dude, I thought you were retired."

He chuckled, "I was, but retirement can get boring, so once in awhile I like to get up and work a bit."

"Wow, oh where's my manners? This's Coco Pommel, my marefriend. Coco, this is Aks, we go back a long ways." Aks bent down, grabbed Coco's hoof and kissed it.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Ms. Pommel." She replied.

"Oh, how sweet, it certainly is a pleasure." Aks got back up.

"So Aks, how do you know Curt?"

"We went through school together, elementary, middle, and high school, we even picked the same kind of job. And we've work with each other on various projects, which I assume is classified?" Curt nodded. "So Curt, are you here on business, or pleasure?"

"Both, I work tomorrow, but then we have the whole week to do what we want."

Coco asked, "Would you like to join us for a while?"

Aks looked at Curt, he nodded, "Sure, we've been needing to catch up."

After Aks sat down, the appetizers were served, Coco had a small salad, while Aks and Curt had the rolls. Curt asked.

"So, have you been seeing anyone?"

"Actually I've been going out with Ember."

"Who's Ember?"

"The Dragon Lord." Curt and Coco just stared for a little bit, "What?"

"How did you get the dragon lord? She can have way better than you with the wave of the hand."

"A, ouch, and B, she likes me for who I am, but we've been going out for about 4 months, so I'm not ready to give all the job info."

Coco said, "So it's not just Curt, it's you as well?"

"All of us, everyone has to keep it a secret until we know the spouse isn't a threat."

"But Curt and I have been going out for about 8 months, don't you trust me enough?"

Curt looked at Aks with pure anger, he replied, "Of course I do, I just, I was going to tell you once I'm done, and once I get to retirement. Then I don't have to worry, because at anytime, someone could be listening, I can't risk it until I know nothing will happen."

"Well, alright, but I will remember what you said, once you retire, then please tell me, I really want to know."

Aks looked at Curt and said, "Come on dude, she's alright, I know people, and ponies, she's fine, tell her once you're done with this job. Trust me, I would tell Ember, but she might react the wrong way, she's not very keen with the kind of work I do, I could be beheaded for all I know."

"You make a good point, I do trust you Coco, I'm just-" He was interrupted by the waiter carrying their order.

Once they finished eating Coco had to excuse herself for a few moments, leaving Aks and curt to talk shop.

Aks asked, "So, who are you here to kill?"

"Robert Yoki."

"Wow, I hope you're getting paid a lot for this."

"Oh I am, 3 million, I could sense the guy was willing to pay any price to kill this man."

"Well, I'm honestly here just to visit, I'm going to see Princess Celestia and Luna in a couple of days, Ember has a peace meeting with them, so I have to be with her."

"Gotcha, well don't worry, I'm killing the man tomorrow, so you won't be anywhere near that."

"Thank you for warning me, now I know to stay here knowing your aim."

"Excuse me? I have the world's longest shot, I've proven my skill."

"You got lucky."

"I got skills."

"But seriously, glad to know, now I can plan, and they might cancel the meeting, and with that, there will be a big gap in Ember's time and holes that I'm happy to fill."

Curt laughed, "Elgh, dude! But I hope it works out in the end."

"Same for you, and regardless, I'm staying here for about a week as well, here's my number, call if you want to hang out."

"I will, take care man." Aks got up and walked out, Coco walked to the table and asked.

"Where's Aks?"

"He had to leave, he had a meeting he needed to get to."

Once Curt paid, the two left the cafe and walked towards the golden elevators, they rode up all the way to the top floor, where the suites are.

They walked down to room 3, near the end of the hallway, Curt slid the card in the reader and opened the door.

The room was huge, the walls were velvet, the floor was a nice dark red and felt pleasing to the foot, or hoof. The first part of the room had a couch in front near the door, a tv in front of the couch, and a table in front of the couch before the flat screen plasma tv, it had a goody basket with assorted stuff, none of it illegal.

The second part was a bedroom, the room had two openings, though you could see over the bed, it was a round bed with the finest white covers, and a 20,000 dollar mattress, there was a bathroom to the right side of the bed and the whole front of the bed was facing the wide open window, it had a nice view, you could see down it and feel like you are on a cloud.

Coco was astounded, she's never seen a room this nice before, not one she could sleep in at least. "Wow, this place is amazing, this is so beautiful. But how is the bed?"

She walked over to the bed and sat down, she patted the bed and told him, "Come here." He did as instructed, he said.

"Oh we won't have to worry about noise complaints, the walls are sound proof."

"Wait, how do you know."

"That's company business."
