Fallout Allediean

Slowly I opened my eyes. My eyes burned, like when you open your eyes underwater. Everything was dark and blurry. And I was so cold.
"Ope...ChAM...Accs..."

I heard a voice faintly, but i couldn't make out the words. It was soon after that my body realized that wasn't breathing. I inhaled on instinct and immediately began to choke. Liquid filled my lungs instead of air. I began to thrash trying to breath. One of my hooves connected to something ice cold and hard. I tried to push it away from me but it didn't work. I felt so weak. I tried to inhale once more but i was rewarded only with burning liquid. Just as my vision began to darken a strange sensation passed over me, and as it did the liquid around me became warmer. Then there was nothing but bright white light.

as i came back to myself i felt my body coughing in order to eject the liquid from my lungs and inhale air. The more air i inhaled the more aware of my surroundings i became. I was laying curled up on a rough cold stone floor. The ground had some sort of blue substance on it that glowed slightly. The air was filled with a dull red light. I looked up to see where it was coming from but i couldn't see it. I tried to get up but my hooves slipped on the strange glowing substance and i fell back down. I let out i little whine and tried again, i was shaking horribly but i managed to do it. I very carefully moved out of the growing puddle.

But the light seemed to follow me. I tried to find the source of light again but no matter how i turned my head i couldn't find where it was coming from. So slightly frustrated i ventured out into the unknown. I took no more than a couple steps before i tripped over something. Oof. I got up annoyed. I turned to see what i had tripped over and blinked. ? It was something silver and smooth, i bent down to get a closer look. I... Have no idea what this is. I bent down and picked it up with my teeth. Better safe than sorry right?

so i kept moving forward with my silver stick. With the strange light following me i could see about five feet in front of me. Soon i came across a wall with a open doorway. Hesitation stalled me. What would i find if i walked through it? I took a deep breath and pushed forward. As i walked closer i realized that it was some stairs going down. I put my hoof down on the first step and pushed gently. Besides a small creak it seemed stable enough. As y next hoof came down to the second step there was a horrifying crack. I let out a startled shriek as i fell head first down into the darkness below.

Get up. Get up you pathetic excuse of a pony. I opened my eyes confused. I tried to look around me but the light was gone. I stood up wincing my back hurt. "H-hello?" silence answered me. I wish i hadn't lost the light. Not seconds later a red glow started from above me to fill the air with the muted red light. Were the fuck was that coming from!? I took a deep breath to push it aside and look around me. This place unlike upstairs was not empty. I saw strange shapes. I moved closer to see them better. I almost tripped again but managed to stop myself, it was my stick! I picked it up and continued towards the rectangular shape. As it came more into my focus, it seemed like it was...a desk. I think.

It had a drawer that i opened. Inside of it was a strange object i pulled it out with my left hoof. It was a toy of some sort. A pony. She was really worn and the color was bleached almost entirely away. I turned it about and found an inscription on the bottom. Just be honest. I blinked, honest bout what? I didn't know what exactly the toy was, but there was something about it that filled me with warmth. I dug through the drawer and found a soft beat up leather pouch with string coming out of it. an idea struck me and i pushed the toy into the bag then looped the string around my neck. perfect.

BANG! I let out a startled sound at the sudden loud noise. I held my breath startled. was there somepony else here? i remembered the voice i had herd before, was it them? something inside me felt wrong at the question. i decided it wasn't them. i cautiously began to move around and locate the source of the sound. i had no warning. pain exploded in my chest as i heard a rabid snarl. i screamed in surprise dropping my stick. i landed on my back from the surprise attack as a pony pinned me down. she was snarling sharp fangs dove for my neck and i cried out. BANG! i watched stupefied as her head disappeared.

I trembled blankly unable to process what just happened as her now imp body fell on top of me pinning me down. i heard hoof steps approaching me as well as another source of light and i panicked i pushed hard against the body on me and managed to push it off of me. i got up and started to walk away but my chest hurt so much it was so hard to breath.

"stop," there was a sharp click "don't move a muscle." i froze terrified i didn't know what was going on so i did just what the voice told me to do. i did't move no matter how much i wanted to bolt. the hoof steps got closer to me, and didn't stop till they were right behind me. "what. the fuck. are you?"
