Chapter 1: Training in Disguise
Daring wiped the sweat off her brow as she finished The Everfree Ropes Course for the 5th time. She had a book signing tomorrow, so she had to get some sleep. Rainbow Dash constructed a cloud fort next to her house just for Daring. The next morning, she swooped down into the bookstore. And, just on time too. Ponies flooded into the store. In about an hour, everypony had left with big smiles on their faces, and Daring realized something. "I completed a ropes course 5 times, and signed about 127 books." " Talk about adventuring practice!" she thought. Daring decided to stop by Sugarcube Corner to grab a cupcake with a tiny chocolate carrot on it. She ate it while flying back to the cloud fort. Then Daring took a nice, well-earned nap.
Chapter 2: Proper Preparations
Daring woke up, falling because Derpy was helping to move clouds for the Summer Sun Celebration. It was a wonderful sight. Seeing hundreds of ponies gathered to celebrate the sunny summer ahead. But, while everypony was gathered, Ahuizotl was plotting a plan. With the whole town gathered, he could steal the Goblet of King Yargar. This would grant him at least one treasure to keep, since Daring Do took the Sapphire Stone. Later, Daring had just finished help with clearing the sky for the sun to be seen, when the realized that she left her saddlebag. She zoomed back to the cloud fort, only to find it was gone.
