What if: The Justice Ponies Chronicles: Luchador

Long ago in Equestria. There was a hidden small town that was not put on the maps of Equestria. The town…..is Neighico City! Everypony speaks Spanish but they know understand English, it’s just that nopony in that town speaks English. But in the center of Mexico City lies the home of it’s champion and hero, Luchador! He was an earth pony that protected Mexico City from thieves or any crime. He was the guardian of Mexico City. But Luchador wasn’t always your average, ordinary hero. We have to go back, to the beginning. Before there was Luchador, crime was everywhere you look. There lived a young earth pony. He had no friends, no family, not even a name. He only looked out for himself. He was just a petty theft, stealing food and everything. One night, he tried to steal a piece of bread. But when he got away, he was cornered by two bullies.

"Well well well. What do we have here? A little earth pony looking for food. That's too rich. Now give us that bread!” one of the bullies said.

"But...I need it. I'm hungry the little earth pony said.

"Like we care? HA! You're funny. You should really be more careful around these streets. This town is gonna be forced to rubble before you know it, little blank-flank.”.

The bullies grabbed the bread and pushed the earth pony. The earth pony starts shedding tears while the bullies just laugh. But just when they were about to walk away, somepony in a black hood that came from the shadows stops them.

“Hey! I believe that the bread belongs to him. I suggest you give it back to him” the mysterious pony said

“ Ha, and who are you supposed to be?” one of the bullies asked.

The mysterious pony just walks up closer to them. When one of the bullies tried to hit the mysterious pony, he simply grabs the bully's hoof and counters it. The mysterious pony removes his hood to reveal…..an elderly pony? You guys see where this origin story is going, now? It’s like that one scene from the 2010 Karate Kid movie. When the two bullies tried to attack the elder, his body turned into…..the size of a bulldozer?! He scooped the bullies up and used his body to turn into a slingshot, which sends the bullies flying. After that, he turned back to normal and helped out the little earth pony.

“You alright, young earth pony?” the elder asked the earth pony.

“(sniff) I’ll be fine. But…..how did you do that? There is hardly any magic here in this town.” the earth pony asked.

“Where I come from, "Friendship is Magic". But don’t worry about that, can you still walk? What’s your name?”.

"I….I…..I don’t have a name”.

"Well, do you have a home?”.

“Uummm…..n-no”.

“Here, you need this bread more than I do”.

The elder handed over the bread to the earth pony and the earth pony ran off. But after a few seconds, the earth pony stops and thinks about it. He turns his head over to the elder and runs back to him. The elder smiles and decides to take him back his home, a sacred dojo outside of town. The earth pony is surprised of what he saw. It had dummy’s, obstacle courses, and everything.

“I’ve seen of what you are capable of, young pony. Your speed and agility is very interesting. But with my training, you can become…...something else. You don’t have to be homeless anymore. Will you accept my training, to use these powers for good?” The elder asked the young stallion.

The earth pony couldn’t believe it. The elder wants to take him under his wing. Maybe he does need this training. He can learn to defend himself if somepony tries to attack him. He can do the right thing for once. So……..the young stallion accepts the elder’s offer and smiles.

Three years later, the young earth pony has become an expert of martial arts. The elder has become his sensei and gave the young stallion a new name: José Luis El primero. Now, every time when somepony tries to hurt him or steal from him, he now knows how to defend himself. His sensei even taught him how to use his powers. He now has the ability to shape-shift into any shape, just like his master. At this rate, he’s finally graduated. There was nothing left for his master to teach him. One night, when José Luis made it back to the dojo with groceries, he finds out that something has happened. He runs to his master’s room to see him lying on the ground, on not moving!

“Sensei! What happened?! Are you okay?!” José Luis asked in fear.

“M....my time has come. I've....grown...too...old. It...happens to us all. ...It's...natural...It's okay. Don't feel so sad. I'm always here in...spirit. You were my favorite student, never giving up. And I'm proud of you for it.....But promise me this.......Always.....do...the...right...thing” His sensei replied, dying.

José Luis promises as his own teacher passes away in his hoofs. The stallion starts bursting into tears. His only family that he had as long as he could have remembered has passed away. Now he must carry out his master’s legacy. He buries his master’s grave and gets started on his new life. He finds some of his cloths and starts sewing his new costume. He added red as the main color of his costume. He added big white eyes to the mask. I’m gonna skip this part because it takes too long to make the costume. Three hours later, he’s finally finished with his costume. He came up with the name “Luchador” because that’s what his costume looked like. And that’s how Luchador became what he is, today. Luchador now controls the streets of Mexico City. Protecting those in need. Though, he wonders if there is anything that is outside of Mexico City. But...all that he can find is a dessert in the middle of nowhere. But just wait til he finds out later on his life. He will become a true hero when he explores Equestria. Villains beware, because Luchador is watching you all.

He looks behind him to see......a robot!

"Still the self awared pony as usual" the robot said.

"Who are you? Why did you bring me here?" Luchador asked the robot.

"Woah, woah. Take an easy. My name is Jenny 10 and I'm not here to hurt you. I'm just here with news. Equestria is in danger......we need to to join the Justice Ponies!"
