Meyeyeemememememememememem! I think I'm rushing this story, but I don't know. Someone said my writing was a little poor, so I tried to better it! But keep sending suggestions and comments! I could always use a little push!
I'm so much better at comedy, this is my first not comedy story. I need hilarity!
Watching Her Every Move
It wasn't long before everypony was outside training again but Soarin was the last to come out. His mind was filled with one too many thoughts and he wasn't able to make his body move.
First off, he was exhausted. The morning that he woke up and heard Rainbow Dash 'brushing her teeth' was not a good morning. There have been days where he has been tired and there have been days where he was super tired. He forced himself to put on his suit and move out the door, no matter how much his body was telling him no. His mind, though, his mind was telling him that he needed to move forward and do his best that day, he needed to be there for the performance and for Dash. With both on his mind, he was able to move faster and forget about his tiredness.
When he walked out, he could feel the sun hit his face. It felt good. He felt as if a bit of energy crept into him.
Flapping his wings to get them to adjusted to just waking up, he noticed the hard working ponies.
That was when he saw Rainbow Dash, flying as fast as she possibly could, doing flips through the sky and tricks in the air. She seemed to stop and catch glimpse of Soarin and she flew down to his side. "Hey Soarin. Come on, it's time to practice." she said in a friendly way. She seemed to have either ignored or forgotten the fact that she sort have snapped at Soarin that morning, but that didn't matter to Soarin or Rainbow. Right now, focus was on flight and how they were going to use their flight to entertain.
The Wonderbolts have been practicing their routine. It was quite difficult but it was nothing to stress over. The Wonderbolts each took their place at the beginning of the routine. They each had firm forearms and muscles, feeling adrenaline and gaining energy from excitement... and the sun. Then
3...2...1 and,
THEY WERE OFF! Each of them flew in sinc, out into the sky, not aware of Spitfire below them watching them at the corner of her eye with a smile of pride. They flew by each other, flipping over one another and soaring with such coordination. But sompony was a little off and to surprise, it was Soarin. He was way to busy watching Rainbow Dash, terrified that she might fall over or something. He watched her EVERY MOVE and that's the only thing he was distracted by.
Beneath them, two new ponies appeared, eager and impatient to take a sneak peak at what the Wonderbolts were doing. It was Fluttershy and Scootaloo. Fluttershy decided to take Scootaloo to go see Rainbow Dash as she was getting ready.
"Ooo! I can't wait to see what the Wonderbolts came up with!!!" Scootaloo said excitedly. Fluttershy nodded and smiled.
"I know," Fluttershy said to Scootaloo. "I heard they all came up with the choreography by themselves. They must be having a lot of fun." she looked up at the Wonderbolts practicing. Scootloo couldn't hold in her excitement.
"GO RAINBOW DASH!"
Rainbow Dash looked down at her small friend and smiled. Scootaloo returned the smile and winked.
"Hey!"
Scootaloo and Fluttershy looked over and saw Spitfire.
"You guys enjoying the view?" Spitfire asked. Scootaloo nodded vigorously with a big smile of excitement on her face. Spitfire chuckled. "They've been working hard."
"I can see that." said Fluttershy. "I'm pretty sure they've been through a lot these pass few weeks."
"Wait." Scootaloo butted in. "Isn't it just a regular performance?"
Spirtfire stepped toward her. "Yeah, but they came up with ALL of it and it's good for them to prove to me and mostly themselves how independent they are, but it's also to test how creative they can be. See being creative is something that should be included in doing work and it tests their minds a little bit. The fact that they actually went through with it and made progress with each other, make's me proud to be their coach."
"How's Rainbow doing?" Scootaloo asked.
"Oh, she's doing great. You'd be proud of her."
Fluttershy continued to observe Rainbow and her crew of fantastic flyers. Rainbow is a natural at what she does! Fluttershy thought. But her thoughts went into worry when she Rainbow Dash teeter a little while in mid-flight. Soarin noticed this too and didn't take his eyes off of her, which lead him to bump into another pony. This caused each of the ponies to react because after Soarin bumped into another pony, they all ended up in a lined of pilled up ponies while in the air but they ended up crashing to the ground with a loud thump.
"Oh no!" Scootaloo and Fluttershy said in worry, then they ran over to the pile of ponies. Spitfire joined too.
Fluttershy flew over them to check for injuries. "Oh my goodness, is everypony okay?" There were moans and groans heard but they all responded positively. Scootaloo and Fluttershy helped them get off of each other.
"How did that happen, that never happens!" Rainbow Dash said.
Soarin chuckled nervously.
"Soarin?" Rainbow Dash asked suspiciously. Soarin just looked at the ground. He sighed, shook his head and spoke.
"Fine, I wasn't looking where I was supposed to."
"Where were you looking then?" Scootaloo asked.
"I was looking at Rainbow Dash." he said with a slight sigh at the end of his sentence.
"Oooo." Scootaloo said until a pony gently elbowed her. "Continue."
Soarin turned to Rainbow Dash. "Listen, Rainbow Dash. I'm really worried about you."
"Why?"
"What ever that was this morning, scared me. I wasn't sure what to do and it seemed like you didn't want to be bothered afterward, sooo... for the entire morning I've been watching you to make sure nothing happened to you." he hung his head down.
Rainbow blushed. "Look, Soarin... I told you I was OK. Why... why didn't you believe me?" she slightly raised her voice. If Rainbow Dash was being honest, she would say she was lying to herself.
"I'm not saying I didn't trust you, I just took extra precautions, that's- that's all... really."
She did seem a little off though. Fluttershy thought.
There was silence before anything else was said. Then Rainbow spoke. "Soarin, you don't have to worry about me so much... okay, I- I admit it! I threw up this morning..."
Soarin looked up at her with a weird expression. The ponies had no idea what happened that morning between Rainbow and Soarin but they proceeded to listen.
Rainbow continued. "But... it's nothing to worry about. It was probably just something I ate. I- I feel... fine now. I feel fine." Rainbow lied.
"Are you sure Dash?" Spitfire jumped in. "Because we can call this thing off if you truly need rest."
"I'm alright." Rainbow said firmly.
"Hm, okay then. Everypony, let's just take a moment to get ourselves together and then get back to work."
"Yes Ma'am!" then everypony flew off.
"Except you, Dash! Stay here." Spitfire caught her before she flew off. Rainbow Dash shot her a confused, puzzled look. Spitfire just gazed at her and then motioned Fluttershy and Scootaloo to go on somewhere else. Spitfire and Rainbow Dash walked into the building and closed the door behind them.
Rainbow Dash was nervous. Ugh, Rainbow. What's gonna happen now? she thought.
