Decess POV
Hi as you all well know my name is Decess but what you don't know is its meaning Decess means (Death). Well may as well get this story on the road it isn't going to write its
I was a nice morning on October 19th all was well and everything was joyous, I was out doing my mourning routine which was to leave the den where I live with my two children and mate, behind and go for my morning hunt to get something to eat.
I was on the trail of a nice size caribou and it seemed to be an alone no herd around it by the look of the tracks I had been tracking my prey for a long time after what felt like hours, the horizon had just gave way to dusk and I had finally found my prey resting near a tree in the middle of the forest.
Over the time I was hunting I realized that my family must be worried about me so I need to make this quick and bring my kill to my pack.
I have my prey in my sight and am about to make the kill when all of a sudden I hear a *boom* like what you would hear form a human weapon, but I don't understand why would a human be this deep in the forest where the most dangerous animals lurk around almost every turn? when I hear that I immediately run after my prey and kill it before it gets the chance to get back up and run away.
As I'm running with my kill in my maw, to the den I hear another loud *boom* and start picking up the pace to the den just in-case the hunters are there but I doubt that, as I start realizing it may have been after my kill I pick up my speed and it turns into a sprint once I reach my den I realize that my family may be looking for me, so I put my kill in the den and go in search of my family.
I start looking for my mates scent and was about to give up on finding her scent when I finally got a whiff of it on a near by log indicating that she when this way with my two cubs.
As I start on this path I heard another loud *BOOM* and at that I really started to worry due to the fact that my mate and cubs are out and that the weapon has shot as may times as I have family members.
I started to sprint towards the sound and what I saw horrified me.
What I saw was a human carrying one of my cubs and my mate and my other cub was on the ground dying. This infuriated me I immediately shot towards the human and lunged at him while he was crouched down. I saw this as a moment of weakness and took my chances for vengeance against the human for killing my family , my...pack.
As I was airborne the human got up and grabbed my son by the fur in his neck and placed him over his shoulder. I then landed on his back and bit down on the nape of his neck, but was not able to lock my jaw down on his neck therefore he threw me off of him, he was bleeding badly and screaming in agony but was still conscious and was still able to to get to his feet but looked like he was about to fall back down, so I took this chance and attacked from below.
I grabbed his leg in my maw and was able to lock on his leg with ease, the human was beating me to try and get me off of him, every swing he took got weaker and weaker as time went on he wasn't able to hit me with enough strength to make me even flinch at this.
I saw this as my chance and went for the kill, I let go of his leg and bit down on his throat and crushing his esophagus, killing him instantly.
Immediately after I saw my family's lifeless bodies on the ground and decided to give them a burial, I sat there for hours burying their bodies and paying my respects I left and started to mourn my family's deaths as I'm trekking my way back to my den, I realized that I may have been gone for a bit too long and that my kill may have been taken from my den and I'll have to go out and hunt for more food in the morning.
When I reach the den I am surprised to see I still have my kill in my den untouched, so I go over there and start eating the meat until I reach bone when I'm done and full I go outside and start to bury the bones as a sign of respect and thanks for it being my meal.
The next morning I wake up and go to my family's graves that I made them and pay my respects for a few hours until the sun breaks over the horizon, as I'm walking I realize a part of the forest that I haven't been in yet and walk in it I turn back to where I once was before I entered the unknown part of the forest and saw I was somewhere I have never seen and was nowhere near where I was like I was just dimensionally transported.
I look around and saw animals I never saw in the forest I lived in and then I looked up and saw it was unnaturally overcast and darker than night its self I looked around and herd.... screaming?
I then ran towards the screaming at split second speed to what it was, I realized it wasn't human but wasn't animal either. But..what..was it?
I then seen it was being attacked by wooden...wolves? OK this place seriously just got super weird.
When I realize it isn't a human and decide to protect it, I think it is a female due to the unusually high pitch Voice when she screamed as loud as her lungs allowed her to scream, when she was done she fainted and I stepped in and defended her.
I growled at the opposing side of me and her surprising the wolves and gaining their attention the Alfa as I presumed stepped up and challenged me.
I got in a fighting stance as did the opposing Alfa, we circled around each other looking for weak points in eachothers movements and stances, I saw many flaws that I inacted upon I grabbed him by his wooden foot and broke it off grusomely and it sprayed out... tree sap?
As the tree sap was spraying and coaxing the ground it was standing on making it sticky and gooey to where I would slip if I didn't be careful.
I then lunged at my opponent and went for his head and successfully got my target I bit down breaking his snout off in my mouth, he was useless in combat as of now, so I grabbed the nape of his neck and ripped off his head and successfully removed it and his (what I assume is his spinal cord.)
As I finished him off his pack ran away from me so I took a sniff of the creature that was passed out on the ground and decided to pick her up and take her to where she lives and stay there for a while if she allows it.
I follow her scent to a hut of some sorts built in a hill on the far outskirts of what appears to be a village.

As I got to the hut, the woman on my back wakes up, she doesn't scream but looks very fearful of me, I then look at her with a confused expression in which she sees after this she lightens up a bit, instead of looking fearful of me she instead looks a bit weary and cautious of me.
She looks at me and asks me"are you the one that saved me from those timber wolves?" I shook my head as to answer her question. She then asks me "what is your name mister wolf?"
I gave replying her a shot because she is part animal and so I said "my name is Decess, now what is your name if I may ask?"
she looks at me surprised and says"Fl...Fluttershy and may I ask you how do you speak our language?" when she says that I just shrug and say
"I guess I can due to you being part animal in your appearance." she looked confused after I said that and said
"but that doesn't make any since we look nothing alike even our anatomy isn't the same!" she practically yelled but still sounded like a whisper but a little louder.
I looked ate her and said "lets agree to disagree ." I then asked "do you think I could stay here with you, I have nowhere else to go." when I said that my ears flopped down and my tail drooped between my beck legs she looked down at me and asked
"what happened?" after she asked that I sat down and told her what happened to my family what I did to the human and how I got here. She looked at me and said "you have been through a lot in two days how can you go on?" I replied
"my heart wants to die but my soul tell me to go on for them." I stated.
After I said that I heard a knock on the door I then went into a defensive stance in order to protect her and my self against whatever comes through that door, "Hold on I'm coming" Fluttershy all but yelled. as she went to the door to open it I heard more banging on the door, I went and hid behind the couch as I was waiting I heard giggling and all that so I let my curiosity take over and well I went to see who was at the door.
As I was around the corner I seen another girl with a purple coat and a mane that has a darker purple hue to her coat and a lavender streak through it, I then walked around the corner and the purple girl saw me and well overreacted I was then shot at and well it wasn't pleasant I was running towards her when Fluttershy shouted "Twilight!!! Decess!! stop...it..now!!!"
When she said that I stopped but the Purple unicorn shot me in the side and I skid across the room Fluttershy then ran over to me and asked me "are you alright " I replied
"yeah but you may need to get your friend under control, she could of killed me, don't worry I am not mad at either of you but still don't overreact like that I could of killed you if Fluttershy didn't stop me. Miss?" The purple mare looked at me in awe and said
"oh... my name is Twilight but um... how can you speak Equestrian when you look so feral, also I'm sorry can you please forgive me!!" she all but yelled
I replied "As I said I'm not mad at you, but still just don't do it again, I did save Fluttershy not even 2 hours ago, by the way the sun is positioned it should be at least one hour and thirty minutes ago I saved her from Timber Wolves?" I look to her for confirmation and she nods.
Twilight looks at me like I was something to dissect and says "I must send a letter to the princesses immediately!!" and runs out of the hut.
I look to Fluttershy and ask "this isn't going to end well is it?"
She says "lets hope for the best." I audibly gulp, as the day is coming to an end I go and lay down and fall asleep outside on the ground a few minutes later after 12:00 am I am woken up and I am not where I last remembered.
When I woke up I was in a huge white room hooked up to monitors that were beeping and well I was not reacting well.
I look over to find Twilight and two other large beings standing beside her one with a motherly look on her face, the other looking at me like I was here to destroy this town and kill everything before I could take in their appearances Twilight introduces me to the two beings that were in the room.
She points to a white mare wearing white dress with golden trimmings and a golden tiara with a purple gem on top and says "this is Princess Celesta and she's one of the princesses of Equestria, she is also my teacher!"
She then points to the other mare who is a dark blue wearing a black top and a dark blue that contrasts her figure and is wearing a obsidian tiara on her head with a necklace that has the moon on it and says "this is princess Luna, Celesta's little sister!" Luna the gives me a death glare in which I ignore I then say "ummm...hi?"
The two look at each other and nod, Celestia says "hi Decess, may I ask why are you here and why did you save Fluttershy? I'm a little curious about your motives."
I tell her "I heard screaming and well my body wouldn't allow a girl to get hurt after what had just happened to my own family from my own world just two days ago." I then sighed and told them what happened from then til now and was sure not to leave out any details.
To say Luna didn't look impressed and did a total one eighty was an understatement she seemed to like me and so did Celestia, but now Twilight seemed to be a bit more apprehensive with me.
I then asked them "cant the rest of this wait till tomorrow I'm very tired not only from today but also from yesterday, I barely got any sleep due to the nightmares that appeared of my family being killed right before my eyes over and over again." they then agreed to talk more tomorrow with me and Luna told me she can help me with my nightmares I thanked her and Celestia and bid them farewell.

human transformation and magic training
Decess POV.
As I start having nightmares I hear a voice in my dream say "it will all be over soon" I look over my shoulder and see Luna and a blue glow around her horn, I then look to the scene in front of me and it changes to something more...peaceful and well I enjoy it and thank her for her help in my dreams.
As I start to enjoy my dream Luna sits next to me and hugs... me I then start to wander if she has ever seen this happen to someone before as I start thinking about it I don't realize that my body is slowly starting to change, first it was my vocal chords, now it is my eyes them being brown they turned grey.
Then I look at Luna she seems taken back to what she sees the then looks at me and asks "are you alright your eyes just changed colors and it isn't due to me or this realm?" I then look for something to look at to see my eyes Luna apparently notices this and then a mirror pops out of thin air and I look in it and to my surprise I had grey eyes! I look to Luna and and smile and go back to her, she looks confused by me doing this and asks
"are you not mad or upset that your eye color has changed?" I look to her and shake my head and answer
"no I'm not mad but I am curious as to what your planets atmosphere is doing to my body but I wont get mad at anyone or even the planet I think it is changing my body for the better of your worlds needs so I can fit in here."
She looks confused by this and says "I don't understand, why does it do this when you can already talk and all of that?" but as she says that my hind legs change to bipedal and my upper body changes as well she looks at me wide eyed and I ask
"what, is something wrong with my answer or did I just change again?" as soon as I said that I got up and walked over to the mirror and saw my self I went wide eyed and said "please no, not a human anything but that!!!" as I said this everything was covered with fur my upper body,my tail was still there my head was that of a wolf's still, my front paws turned into hands as I was looking at my chest.
I turned around and looked to Luna and she was as shocked as I was, I then asked "could I go to the hospital and see if they know if this is what I will look like at the end or is this just here in the dream realm?" as I say that everything was starting to fade away as that was happening I woke up and saw I was next to Fluttershy... in her bed? 'how'd I get here?' I thought to myself as I was about to get up I heard shuffling beside me I looked over and saw Fluttershy starting to wake up.
As this was happening my mind started racing on what to do and I had already forgotten that my body transformed into that of a wolf and a human but not like a werewolf body.
After I get up a scroll pops out of thin air in front of my face, after I get over my shock I open the scroll and read it and it says,
Dear, Decess I have sent this letter to inform you that you can go the the hospital to get a check up on if you will stay like this or if you have more transformations in the near future, also my sister and I would like to invite you to the Grand Galloping Gala we have given you this ticket and have formally invited you now it is up to you if you want to come or not. Sincerely Princess Luna.
After I got done reading I had gotten in the shower and got ready to leave to go to the hospital to have a check up on if I have another change in my physical form in the future as I arrive I am greeted by the face of a doctor waiting on me.
The doctor steps up and says,"hi my name is Doctor Clean Cut and I have been informed by Princess Luna that you would be coming by for a check up to see if you would have any more changes in your physical appearance she also told me that you would like me to keep this off the records of the hospital so no pony would bother you in the future about you heritage am I correct?"
I reply "yes and thank you Clean Cut this means a lot to me in my current circumstances and all oh and before I forget to introduce my self, my name is Decess, but don't look into the meaning too much it my be a bit frighting once you realize the meaning ok?"
Clean Cut looks at me like he is in deep thought about something I'm just hoping he isn't thinking about my name it could come as a deterrent in my progress here and I'd like to get this over as soon as possible so I just hope this doesn't hurt so he won't have any struggles from me.
As Clean Cut gets done with his thought process he motions me over to the next room over on the right. When he gets to the room he asks me to sit on the bed while he goes and gets the materials he needs to check me. I comply and sit and wait as I'm waiting my curiosity gets the better of me so I get up and walk around the room and see what I can do.
As I'm in the middle of seeing what I can do I see a black glow around my palms I don't know what it is but I know one thing for sure I want to see what it does. I go and move my hands around in a pattern motion and realize it the room is getting darker and more cold like so I stop and sit down.
As I sit down Clean Cut comes running in and looks like he is out of breath he runs over to me and asks "what happened while I was gone, what did you do, how did you use magic, why did it feel so cold!!!???"
As he asks all of these questions I realize I only know the answer to two so I tell him what happened to me and hat I did as I tell him this he looks as if he is deep thought but I think I can guess what it is about and ask "can you please send a message to Princess Luna and tell her of what happened? I don't want you to keep her in the dark about all of what happens here." After I say this a piece of paper pops out of nowhere and a quill he starts scribbling down stuff and then the piece of paper disappears while the quill stays and goes into his saddle bag.
Clean Cut looks to me then asks "will you please follow me to the examination room, this shouldn't take long to do." I follow him out of the room and down the hall and after about five minutes of walking we make it to a room on the left where he opens the door and motions me to a table in the middle of the room and tells me to lay down.
I walk over to the table and lay down he hooks something onto my arm it looks like an arm band, that the doctor has a tube to that adds pressure to it when he squeezes and it feels weird when he squeezes it it doesn't hurt but doesn't feel comfortable. After that he performs other tests hooks me up to other machines and writes down what he gets on a piece if paper and when it is all done and over with he sends the piece of paper off and comes over to me and says
"We are done here I have come to conclusion that this is your last transformation that will happen soon I have also determined that you have magic abilities that are on par with Luna her self in her pure form so I sent a letter to her and Celestia both about this and I have a question for you, do you know how to use magic?"
I look to Clean Cut and reply "no I've never had nor used magic until now so this is all new to me, is there a specific reason I needed to answer this question, also if I don't know how to use magic and I well have it and don't use it on a daily basis what will happen?"
Clean Cut looks at me and replies calmly "well you'd have a magic backup in your body and if it doesn't find a way out of your body in an alternative way you could explode due to you arcane abilities overloading you." yikes don't want that to happen now would I.
I look to him and ask "is there anyone who can teach me then so I can continue on?"
He looks away for a second because he is thinking deeply about the matter, He looks back and replies "well you have two options, One is you go to Twilight Sparkle and ask or Two you could have me send a message to the princesses and ask if one of them could train you. Which one would you prefer?"
"I'd prefer you sent a letter to the princesses to see if they could train me, me and Twilight didn't get off on the right foot yesterday so I'd prefer to train with the princesses at the best of my capabilities!!"
Clean Cut then sends off two letters to the Princesses a few seconds later he gets a letter back he looks to me and says "congrats Luna has agreed to train you in magic she also says you better get used to being up all night, she doesn't like the day so I gotta warn you."
"ha I love the night it is always so beautiful to me and my kind we love it nice cold air beautiful night sky and a beautiful moon what is more to ask than to see the moon over the suns blinding fury we get up about five in the after noon and go all night hunting but I guess since my body has adapted to here I will be an omnivore now.?"
Clean Cut replies "yes, and also one more thing get ready to leave this town you are to be going to Canterlot to stay with the Princesses so they can train you and teach you of our laws and ways also the train leaves in an hour so you still have time to say good bye to your friends.
