Chapters (TIMIDTHY'S POV)
I was in the middle of a group chat with my friends and every was in chaos. Crepe had told us Binkey had run away and now everypony was panicking. Especially Citrus who was typing like a mad mare in all caps. Me? I was stunned, angry, terrified, but most importantly I wanted, no I needed to find Binkey. I kept a calm face despite the fact my cutiemark was ticking in rhythm with my bubbling emotions. The chaos going on in the chat, and Binkey's frantic hoof steps. As I could practically hear them like thunder. Finally my magic swallowed my chattie and I typed two simple word's.
T: Shut. Up.
And everypony grew silent on the chat they knew I meant business. It wasn't often. Only when the situations we're dire did I stop letting fear take over me that I started acting like a leader. When everything was resolved I'd be back to my normal self.
T: Listen up! We can't just panic! We can't just blame other ponies when it's nopony's fault! I may not be the bravest pony in Eqestria, but the one thing that pushes me is when my friends are in danger. Binkey is running around aimlessly just following where the sun and moon rise! He's depressed, afraid and possibly a bit suicidal! I've felt that way for year's! But I stopped feeling that way when I met Bumper, Sweet Dreams, and French Press. And I'd never wish those negative feelings onto my worst enemies! So we can sit and whine and scream like fouls or we can get our flanks in gear and find him before anypony catches on.
I typed without feeling a twinge of shame for it, I wasn't going to let fear take over.
BB:......He's right. Okay we need a plan!
The chat was again quiet as I felt embarrassed for giving that long-winded speech and not thinking of a plan.
FP: Well.....I guess making sure our schools don't find out is a good start.
The chat went silent once more as we all thought of ideas. Finally Meadow sent a message on the screen that read:
Dosent the chatties have some sort of tracker?
And that started the spark.
B: Meadow your right! I just need to track his GPS and bingo! We'll have a little map to him!
Ci: AWESOME! WE CAN THEN RUN AFTER HIM WHEN NOPONY IS WATCHING!
Cr: And my brother will be back where he belongs!
I then decided it was time to log off. I told them good-bye and turned my chattie off. I took a deep breath and calmed myself whenever I got angry I sometimes said thing's I shouldn't say. I then levitated a scroll over and started devising a plan. Sure tracking his GPS was great! But what if he didn't take it? What if it got lost or destroyed? There was so many thing's that could happen. I could see a little of myself in each of my friends. And I wasn't going to stand idly by and let one of them shatter. I wrote down what I knew and what I didn't:
Left 6:35
Carried supplies
May or may not be suicidal
Is depressed
Ran south of the school
Finally I turned the scroll around and I both thought as I wrote down the word's:
OPERATION COME HOME BINKEY!
(BLOOD BONES POV)
I said good-bye as I turned my chattie off. I levitateted ten scrolls over to me. I knew my brother like an open book; he was determined to find Binkey. And so was I. My brother may have went against evil poachers, me, a cute yet psychopathic earth pony. Two horrifically mean bullies, graduation and lots more. But during all those times his friend's we're always together. Never had they run away with the possibility of them never coming back. Everypony that my brother became friend's with gained a special part in his heart.
And......now one part is now slowly dieing.
I took a deep breath as I grabbed some quills and pencils and made my way out my room to my brother's. I wasn't far off when I felt and heard pounding hoof steps. It was Citrus. I didn't even have to look as a yellow blur grabbed me by the tail. And was dragging me through the halls charging like a bull. It only took Citrus one minute to get to the room door as it would take me three when she bucked it open and threw me in. I would have said;
"Hey! Mind doing that to a rag doll!?" But I didn't want to test her patients, not that I was afraid or anything. I had landed on the top bunk and Citrus was now sitting on the floor just in front of the bottom bunk where Timidthy sat. He was silent as he wrote on a scroll, his eyebrow furrowed in concentration. He held a quill in his magical grasp I looked back at Citrus and she had the same proud smile on her face that I had. She then grabbed one of my scrolls and grabbed a quill and started jotting down a plan. I followed in suit. Ya know if it werent for the fact one of our best buds had run off.......I'd be happy my brother is showing so much initiative. We sat in silence and wrote furiously. I didn't know how long we sat like that before I heard loud snoring.
I looked over to see Citrus had fallen asleep; then I looked to my brother. He hadn't even moved an inch. I felt my eye's begin to droop after a while until finally sleep took it's toll on me. And as the world faded around me. My dreams began to form as I swear I saw a ghostly image of Binkey heading towards a place with bright lights.
(BINKEY'S POV)
I ran into the city as fast as my hooves could take me and as soon as I stopped moving I collapsed. I knew I had to look awful after all my lungs felt like they we're burning, my legs felt like jelly. And my heart just wouldn't stop beating. Finally I felt my eye's begin to flutter close but for some reason it felt as if somepony was watching me.
(CITRUS'S POV)
Today was Saturday as I woke up and I looked around the room. Blood Bones was fast asleep and I was stunned as I saw Timidthy was still awake. He had bags under his eye's his eye's we're blood-shot. I wasn't sure whether to disturb him or not or if he was aware that he'd been up all night. I pulled Blood Bones off the top bunk and as soon as he hit the ground he woke up. He glared at me,
"Why in the fucking name of Tartarus did you yank me off the bed!?" Blood Bones shrieked.
"To wake you up." I said simply as I pointed over to Timidthy who hadn't ever stopped to scold Blood Bones for his language. We shared a look and I could tell we we're both considering to take the scroll away from Timidthy or not. Good thing we didn't have to as he closed the scroll and his quill hit the bed covers. Timidthy yawned and gave an exhausted yet pleased smile.
"Don't wake me up until tonight." Timidthy said and he finally closed his eye's and went to bed. Blood Bones picked up the scroll and put it in Timidthy's saddle bag. I ran over and picked up Timidthy's ring of tranquility and put it on his horn. Blood Bones put a pair of ear plugs in his ears. We then grabbed our scrolls and left the room making sure Timidthy would get plenty of rest.
(BUMPER'S POV)
I was just about to fall asleep I had just finished the small chatties I had to make for Spice and Serenity. I also had made them twenty percent more durable than our's since they're much smaller than ours. While I had tried to track Binkey's chattie and unfortunately I couldn't get a pin point. But his last signal was from the school at 5:37 so that means he had to have figured out how to turn the GPS off. Stupid Binkey why'd he have to do that!? Dosent he know we care about him!? I sighed. Calm down Bumper we'll find him; one of us has to have a plan by now. I groaned and stared at the clock as my eye's drooped. But my chattie went off, my eye's snapped open and I snatched it with magic. I turned my chattie on and the time read one minute to midnight. I muttered a curse under my breath and read a message from French Press:
Yo Thumpy! We have to head to the Canterlot dungeons! Don't worry Sweet Dreams is on my way to get me. You teleport there.
I rolled my eye's but I teleported there anyway. If we all we're coming her near to midnight then someone had a plan to get our friend back. When I got there I saw Meadow who looked as if she got hit by a fright train. Crepe and Spice we're sitting in silence and they looked to have been crying. Serenity was on Crepe's head. She didn't have tears in her eyes but what was more alarming was that chunks of her mane was missing. I heard the flap of wings and Sweet Dreams had French Press on her back as she crashed into a wall. She looked exhausted. And French Press looked worried even her hair was more frizzy then usual. We all got our composure and sat down we all knew four of us we're missing. One who would end up being a no-show, suddenly there was booming hoof steps. And Citrus came in with Timidthy and Blood Bones on her back. We all shrieked as she jumped over us! Seriously how does a filly get so gargantious!? She skidded to a stop. As Blood Bones and Timidthy jumped off as if this was not the most shocking thing in all of Eqestria.
"Alright don't even try to fathom how she could get so big it's not worth the effort. We have a plan one made to make sure nopony us the wiser and we get our friend back!" Blood Bones said and Timidthy nodded enthusiastically. I was kinda surprised Blood Bones voice was shaky and filled with uncertainty. His hair was practically falling apart from his usual hairstyle. And Citrus looked so jittery a pin dropping would've been enough to cause to run and scream. Timidthy? Ha! It was as if he was a completely different pony! He had a business man hairstyle, his coat was glowing and his eye's had full confidence. He got in the center of all of us gripping a scroll with his tail. Finally he spoke and the way Timidthy's voice sounded was mind-boggling.
"Fillies and gentlecolts I have a master plan that will being Binkey back to us." His voice was clear and to-the-point. As his tail let go of the scroll and unfurled. When it was done we saw complicated equations drawings and diagrams. Sweet Celestia we're gonna be here until next year!
(BINKEY'S POV)
I woke up with a jolt. It took me a moment to realize for me to realize I was in a bed. I layed back into the bed and took a deep breath. Suddenly I felt the urge to suck on a pacifier, and once again I felt a wave of shame go through me. Why was I like this? I looked for my bag but of course I couldn't find it. I jumped off the bed and walked around the room. The room had a wooden floor and the wall had a floral design. I then saw the way out and opened the door, I walked through as my hooves landed on a carpeted floor. I was in a hallway, the walls didn't have any decoration as I walked through it. I looked further down the hallway and saw what looked to be a living room. The living room had a fireplace in, an arm chair, and a couch was there as well. I then heard hoof steps coming into here and I hid behind the chair. I saw a very tall unicorn walk into the room.
Her horn was almost as long as Princess Celestia's. She had her cream strawberry mane was in a beehive. Her coat was a pale blue, and her ears we're big and fluffy while her eye's we're a dark blue with long eye lashes. She also wore a frilly dress that matched her eye's. And in her magical grasp I saw my bag! I felt my face burn red, I wanted to grab my bag and run but I knew that wouldn't be a smart move. I ducked behind the chair completely as she sat down putting my bag on the floor. I just barely touched my beg when it and I we're surrounded in a blue aurora. She looked at me and smiled,
"I was just going to check on you, you little scamp!" She said with an Australian accent. She put me in her lap and gave me my bag,
"I'm guessing all of this is yours." She said I squirmed slightly as my face went redder but I nodded.
"No reason to be shy it's who your are. In my business we learn to exploit our talents so we can find a way they can benefit other's! Name's Star-Studded Ovation; what's yours?" The now apparently named Star-Studded said sweetly. I gulped,
"M-M-My name is Binkey Suzette." I said feeling slightly intimidated in front of the mare.
"Well that's a sweet name. Tell me Binkey do you have a place to stay?" I shook my head and Star-Studded smile widened,
"Wonderful! You can stay here! Now come, come you must be starving!" She said and I followed; I really did like her.
I had just finished my breakfast and Star-Studded was quick to clean up for me.
"So.....who are you?" I muttered and Star-Studded looked at me like I had just called her fat. But she shook it off,
"Sorry but I'm not used to hearing that. Usually ponies know me before I even open my mouth. I'm an actress from the show Celestia All Mighty." She said and my mouth fell open I didn't watch the show but I knew Blood Bones, Timidthy, and Sweet Dreams did. And they never shut up about how amazing the character Hazel Nut was. I realized that alter ego was her. She walked over to me and shut my mouth.
"So-Sorry." I whispered but she smiled,
"It's okay sweetie. Now I'll be right back with some desert." Star-Studded said as she walked off. I sighed and looked under my chair and reached for my bag. I opened it and looked around, I took one of my pacifiers out and started sucking on it. I got back in my regular position as I closed my eye's and tried to ease my mind. After a bit I heard somepony say,
"Awww." My eye's snapped open and I immediately saw Star-Studded. My face turned beet red as I spit the pacifier out.
"No, no, no! Your perfect!" She said as she shoved the pacifier back in my mouth, I gave her a confused look.
"The director to the show I'm staring in is trying to find a colt that's a bit foalish! He'd love you! And better yet everypony wouldn't just think your acting!" She continued, "Will you audition? I'm sure you'd get the part!" I thought about it. And I took the pacifier out,
"Can you make it so nopony recognizes me?" I asked.
"Of course!" Star-Studded responded,
"Then.....yes I will." I said and Star-Studded shrieked and hugged me, I smiled I couldn't believe a celebrity was hugging me!
(MEADOW'S POV)
"So in summary. Me and Blood Bones leave at nightfall; midnight sharp. We carry our chatties, food, and blankets, nothing else. After we get fifty feet from the school Blood Bones will shoot up a magical flare. Our pet's will come soon after going all across Eqestria using their master made tunnels. At exactly one o'clock the rest of you must leave your schools with nothing in your possession. We will meet up with the pet's and follow them as back up support on land. Wherever we find Binkey we'll stop him from running away. Once we pin him down, Spice and Crepe will persuade him to come back. If that doesnt work we drag him back to his boarding school and I have a session together. Hopefully after all of that he'll be back to the Binkey we know and love." Timidthy finished up, his voice sounding raspy. I, along with everypony else, binked. This was genius! When this was all over I'd have to tell Rarity. Finally I got up and started clapping and everypony else followed. And as we did that Timidthy blushed; even when he tried not to be he was still out timid leader.
The Birth of Tincey Bobble
(STAR-STUDDED'S POV)
Binkey and I we're getting ready for his first-ever audition! I had dyed his fur a nice relaxing shade of turquoise and his mane and tail hazel nut-brown. Thankfully the dye had covered over his cutiemark so I didn't have to use make-up.
"We need one more thing...." I said as I levitated his bag over and started going through it,
"U-Um.....it's okay you don't need to do that." Binkey said but I was certain it just needed something that screamed "foal"! I smiled as I pulled out a rose-red silk diaper that had cute yellow teddy bears on it. I shrieked with delight and looked at Binkey with pleading eye's. His face went a deep shade of red,
"N-No. I can't wear that. No-Not in public." He said taking a few steps back from me.
"But you'd look so cute. Do this for me. Please?" I said and I knew right then Binkey had caved,
"Fine. But this better not be a regular thing." He said as he walked off to one of the restrooms holding the diaper in his hoof. I giggled and waited for Binkey's return.
Binkey was next in line as me and the director watched the colts who wanted to perform come and go. The director had an orange coat with a gray mane and tail. His cutiemark was a camera. Any who Binkey had the diaper on his flank as he held his head down while a few of the other colts snickered. I felt bad for him I honestly didn't know how many colts would be here. Finally Binkey was up, he was shaking as he held a script in his hooves. He gulped and got ready to speak; since his voice already sounded young for his age I told him to put a foal lisp into it. I could tell the director was already interested,
"Nawme's Tincey Bobble. And you mwst bw maid! Why don't you twake mwy stwyff up stairs while I waid the kwookie jar!" Binkey said trying his best as he faked the lisp. Everypony was silent until the director got up with a smile on his face.
"That's it! There's our Tincey!" He said and me and Binkey looked at each other as the other colts had looks of disappointment on their faces.
A star had been born.
(SWEET DREAMS'S POV)
It was Sunday afternoon and I was so excited not only was our plan to happen at midnight. But also because the first promo of season two for Celestia All Mighty was going to air. I looked at the Tv as the theme song to and it showed Hazel Nut with her coco brown coat and dark brown mane.
This lovely mare walked into the big city and thought nice ponies thought she wasn't pretty.
With her dream of modeling crushed she needed to find a little luck!
She'll keep trying and pushing and she's almost there until a little colt got in her hair.
The image on the Tv changed to a colt with a turquoise coat and a hazel nut brown mane. And I felt my mind crash.
Tincey Bobble is his name and it's his whole life dream to drive Hazel insane!
With his obnoxious yet adorable attitude Hazel is gonna have to make some room. Oh Celeeeeestia all mighty!
And it ended but I was in shock it was strange. That colt look very similar to Binkey. But that couldn't be there's no way he'd get up on a stage set wearing a diaper of all things on Tv! It didn't seem possible.
But there he was on the screen.
(SERENITY'S POV)
The clock struck midnight as I looked out the window. My wings spread anticipating the moment the flare went up. 'Hopefully Binkey is okay.' I sighed and after it felt like year's the magical flare went up and me and my sister flew out the window. No sooner did we take flight we heard Crepe galloping under us. I nodded to Spice and she nodded back we then flew down and took shelter in Crepe's tail. In about five minutes flat Crepe had stopped and me and my sister had flew out of his tail. Everypony was ready for the mission of a lifetime,
"Okay so we search all of Eqestria until we find Binkey." Timidthy said with a huge duffel bag in his magical grasp.
"Uh....Timidthy I don't want to embarrass you or-" Sweet Dreams said but Blood Bones added in:
"We never give up. No surrender!" Blood Bones said. And everypony was starting to cheer and get hyped up, I looked over to Sweet Dreams and she looked ready to explode.
"YEAH! WE'LL SAVE BINKEY FROM WHATEVER TROUBLE HE'S IN!" Citrus shouted and everypony but Blood Bones and Timidthy covered their ears.
"Alright then let's-" Crepe said before Sweet Dreams yelled:
"Everypony! Hold it!" And everypony went silent I was especially curious as I had wondered what she had wanted to say.
"I found Binkey! Or at least I know where he is." She said and everypony was shocked,
"What!? Wh-When did you find this out?" Timidthy asked as his face started burning red.
"Today. I watched it on the t.v." Sweet Dreams said "I'm sorry that you had to go through all the trouble of making a plan. But it shortens it up so that's good." Timidthy sighed his ears drooped slightly,
"It's okay I just worked all night on that plan. But I'm glad it won't take too long." Timidthy said as I noticed he looked a bit relieved. Sweet Dreams pulled Timidthy closer and kissed him and the other's roller their eye's. While Bumper pretended to gag, the two separated after a second.
"Alright enough with the smooching love bird's we have to head to Applewood!" Blood Bones said and I flew ahead of the pack; ready for this to be over. And the others galloped following me to the city of dreams.
(BINKEY'S POV)
It was ten minutes until the first season two episode of Celestia All Mighty. And I was terrified, I had learned my lines but that still didn't help the butterflies in my stomach. I was so worried the fans of the show wouldn't like me. Or laugh at me because I was wearing a diaper. I took a deep breath and sighed, 'I wonder what the others are doing right now? I....I wonder if Spice is okay.' I then felt a strong pain of guilt but before I could even scold myself for feeling bad I heard a loose floor board fly up. I turned around and saw the pet's as they sported a big smile.
"We found him!" Crackers shouted and the pets we're knocked out-of-the-way. As my friends we're sporting similar smiles as well.
"Oh thank Celestia we found you!" Sweet Dreams said just before Spice came over and kissed me on the lips,
"Dawww." Serenity said. Finally she let go and my cheeks we're practically burning from how red they we're.
"Okay before you say anything.....no, we aren't mad. Yes, we worked three days to find you. You will be coming with us even if I have to make you wet that diaper on your flank. And we found you when Sweet Dreams saw you on t.v. and Timidthy explained he knew Star-Studded from a visit to the castle. So in summary we love you and we'll put the fillies and colts at our school in body casts if they laugh at you." Spice said and I finally took a deep breath and blinked.
"Wow. I really can't think of a good excuse to not come with you guy's." I said,
"I honestly wouldn't have done it the way you did but that works." My brother said before hugging me tightly. "Don't you ever run away again." Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Star-Studded walked in wearing a hot pink dress. At first she was shocked but when she saw Timidthy she calmed.
"Your friends?" She asked Timidthy and he nodded as I noticed a bit of blush coming across his face. I had a feeling he thought the dress she was wearing was cute.
"Yep and now it's time to head home!" French Press said happily as I could tell she was exhausted,
"That'd be wonderful but.....Binkey is up in three minutes so we have to go for an hour." Star-Studded said with a bit of anxiety in her voice and her and I ran out as fast as our hooves could take us.
(NARRATOR'S POV..... thankfully)
The friend's we're now in Binkey's dressing room. As they talked about their side's of the story and what had happened.
"Binkey you should've never run away. You have your friends and your special somepony a heart attack. Plus I find your talent cute!" Star-Studded said using her magic to pitch Binkey's cheeks. He then hung his head low as blush appeared on his face.
"I get that now.....and I'm sorry I feel like an idiot." Binkey said, but to everypony's surprise an unknown voice came through the room:
"Now I wouldn't go as far to say that but I do believe it was quite foolish." Everypony turned to the doorway to see princess Celestia herself walk in. Blood Bones and Timidthy blushed a deep crimson as their ears went down in fright.
"Thank you Star-Studded for keeping an eye on them. I wouldn't have found these little escape artists if it werent for your kindness." Celestia said,
"But.....when did.....what....and.....HOW !?" Bumper stammered. And Celestia smiled and giggled,
"Do you really think I don't watch this show? When I saw 'Tincey Bobble' on it I immediately went to your schools and saw all of you we're missing. I did some searching and connected all the pieces." Celestia said.
"So.......you arnet mad?" Serenity said hopefully,
"No I'm not mad.....but as for my sons. I expected them to go and tell the school. Not to run off on a high stacks, little reward mission in the hopes of finding one colt and dragging their friends with them." Celestia said her voice growing stern and angered as her gaze switched to the colts in question.
"We're sorry." Blood Bones and Timidthy said at the same time,
"I'm sure you are but as soon as you get back from boarding school your grounded for a month." The princess responded, "Now let's get all of you back to your schools before they find you missing. And thank you Star-Studded I will be sure to invite to the castle much more often." Celestia finished as the kid's and pet's surrounded her. And they teleported back to their proper destinations in a yellow flash. 'Well that was certainly interesting.' Star-Studded thought as she smiled; and thought about when she'd see her Tincey.
