How I came to be in Equestria
Chapter One: The beginning (Incomplete Chapter)
Load Full StoryMy name is Levin B. Anonymous, but most people just call me Levin, and this is the story of how my girlfriend and I ended up in Equestria. I’m just an average 15 year old boy that lives in Foley Alabama, United States of America. I have the hair that of a skater, if that gives you any clue of what it looks like. I’m not very tall, standing only 5’10” in height and I only weigh about 156 lbs. I don’t have the biggest or most visible six-pack, but it’s there. I used to do work-outs every day when I live at my previous home in Robertsdale Alabama. I’m not the most athletic kid in school and I’m definitely not the most popular. I used to be the most cheerful human being on the planet but lately things have been really depressing. It all started when my grandmother died at the age of 57. I went to school the next day, prepared to endure another day of torment and misery from the bullies in my life but I wasn’t picked on once that day. It seemed that word of her death had been passed around and all that people were doing to me was patting me on the shoulder and giving me their condolences. I was rarely bullied after that but it didn’t mean the end of the misery and loneliness in my life.
About a week after the funeral, a cute girl with light brown hair, a tiny, thin body, and perfectly shaped thighs walked up to me at lunch and asked to sit beside me. I said “Y-Yeah, Sure.” As I moved a seat over so she could sit. The girl started eating her food quietly, trying to slink away from the attention of others. It seemed she was just like me… A cast away that no one wanted anything to do with. I was a little sad for her really, a perfect girl like her being cast away from all of the popular groups like she were nothing more than another face in the crowd. Sure, I didn’t know her name or why she was being outcast from the other kids but frankly, I just didn’t care. I looked to her out of the corner of my eye and smiled as I caught her turning away from me and at her food like she hadn’t been looking at me. I chuckled to myself and spoke in a soft, clear voice. “Hmm, That pizza sure is interesting to look at, huh?” She blushed softly but did nothing other than keep looking at the pizza. I smiled and ate what little was left of my own food, I got up to throw my tray away, and came back to an empty table. I felt all happiness leave my body as I looked to where the girl was just sitting. I sat down at my previous spot and sighed sadly to myself before setting my head on the table. It was only the beginning of lunch with about an hour left to sit alone at the table.
I awoke with a start to the feel of someone poking and shaking me gently.
“When the hell did I fall asleep?” I asked myself inside my own head before turning to whoever was touching me. I was prepared to tell them to ‘fuck off’ when I came face-to-face with the girl from earlier. I immediately blushed as I realized that she had to see me asleep, let alone wake me up. I looked to my left and saw a bunch of medical equipment on a table before turning back to look at my right. When I looked back, I was staring right at the girl’s legs, but she didn’t seem to mind. She giggled and blushed a bit and was about to say something before a nurse walked in. I thought to myself where I had seen this woman. She looked very familiar. “Wait a minute… Am I in the medical wing of the school?” As if hearing my question, the girl speaks to me for the first time ever. “We’re in the nurse’s office.” She says in a smooth and even voice that could melt butter if it were a solid object. I nodded silently and laid my head back onto the table, staring up at nothing but the cracks that had formed in the ceiling from age.
“What happened to me?” I asked aloud in my deep and masculine voice as I continue staring into the ceiling.
The girl is the first to speak as she scoots closer to my head. “You fell asleep at the table in the lunchroom, but when we couldn’t wake you at the end of lunch, some of the bigger guys thought it would be funny to see if they could wake you by means of a fist to the stomach. You’ve been in and out of consciousness for the past three hours.” She sighed and shook her head sadly before turning to the nurse. “I could have done something. I feel guilty that I just stood there while they did that to him… It was inhumane and you know it!” She concluded her statement with a fit of anger before calming herself. It was the nurse’s turn to speak, to me this time. “Levin, you suffered minor injuries and a small concussion but it should go away by the end of the week. You’re free to go, those bullies are being expelled and charged with first degree assault and battery for what they did to you.” I nodded but didn’t say anything. I honestly had no clue what had happened but apparently I had the shit beat out of me. As the nurse walked to her desk, the girl decided to help me to my feet. I stood a few inches taller than her and smiled as she glanced at me out of the corner of her eye. As we walked into the hallway, people stopped walking and turned to stare at me as if I were the most interesting thing in the world. I turned to the girl and was about to ask her why they were staring when she apparently sensed the question. “They find it amazing that you’re still standing after what Brandon and Damien did to you. It’s a miracle you weren’t put into a coma and came away with nothing more than a minor concussion.” I nodded silently and turned to limp back to my classroom but the girl stopped me. I looked to her with a confused expression and held my hands up as if to say “Why?”. She looked at me and smiled before she started walking towards the front doors to the school. I followed directly behind her with yet another confused expression on my face. She turned to me to explain why we were leaving school grounds and looked me straight in the eyes. “The nurse just said that you were ‘free to go’. Did you not get what she meant by that?” I smiled a little at her words before thinking of my reply. “Apparently not. I thought she was just telling me to get out of her office. If I may ask, what is your name?” She giggled and blushed while she looked away. It seemed as though no one had ever asked her anything about herself before.
