Starlight And The Overseer
Chapter 1/4 The First Floor
Starlight was very uncomfortable as she sneak through the vent. She was sneaking into the first upper floor of the factory to investigate for Princess Celestia.
The princess was suspicious of the upper floors of the factory, as she had never seen it before. Starlight felt a shiver of fear as she used her magic to remove the duct that blocked her path. As the duct was removed from where it once was before Starlight jump through the cube hole and landed on a cold steel floor.
She was in the first floor of the upper levels. They were machines and crates in corners. In the middle there was a wooden walkway leading higher into the first floor.
Starlight heard a door open behind her, she quickly jumped behind a pile of crates. She listened as two people most likely workers in metal suits came through with body bags.
The workers were in metallic looking suits, with a hole in the front of their masks revealing their eyes. A bell rung and a wave of employee's came in from all directions. Must have been the end of lunch break.
All of the employees occupied themselves at machines and got to work. Starlight couldn't see what they were doing but it look like they were chopping something.
Starlight snuck up behind one of the ponies and put a sleeping spell on him. He silently fell to the ground. Starlight dragged the worker behind a pile of crates where she was before.
She examined the worker closely. There were red stains here and there all over the metal suit. There were some documents in the pocket of the worker. She picked up a document and it read:
THE OVERSEER ORDERS ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE RAINBOW FACTORY TO READ THIS NOTE.
As all you know the overseer has been caught in a terrible accident. For those who don't know the overseer's tentacles Arms got stuck in one of the machines because a foolish employee didn't know how to operate the machine properly. That employee has been....dealt with. All employees are advised to operate all machine carefully. Any foolishness or disorderly use will be dealt with severely.

Starlight put the document in her magical pocket. She stood there for a moment wondering who the overseer is. She would find out soon.
She waited for the bell to ring again, she stood there for what felt like hours but when the bell rung again all the employees exited the room and probably proceeded to the break room. She ran to the wooden walkway in the middle of the room and proceed up it. It creaked as she walked quickly up up.
Starlight was in the second layer of the first floor. In this room a dozen monitors stood against the wall, monitoring the whole factory. Apart from one screen which was static......the overseer's office. Above Starlight there was a glass tube with all of the colors of the rainbow slowly flowing through the tube. To the right of Starlight stood a flight of stairs, on the wall beside it a yellow arrow was painted on the cold stone wall with the words beneath it "Second Floor". Since they were no other options Starlight walked over to the stairs, took a deep breath and walked up the flight of stairs....

Dear Starlight Glimmer.
I know this may not be the best time to contact you but it's important. As you may know when i banished my sister 1000 years ago, i had to raise the sun and the moon, and i couldn't make rainbows so i left the pegasuses to find a way to produce them.
I have seen the factory many time's and the rainbow's they make are amazing, truly stunning. But i have always wondered how.
Overtime the population of pegasi in equestria has decreased drastically, and i have a....suspicion about the upper levels of the factory.
This is why i am writing to you. I want you to sneak into the factory and bring back as much info as you can.
