                       Captain Smith

Captain Smith
The cousins hear the faint sound of pipes, and face the hidden Kettle in their studio. Captain Smith lifts herself out of it slowly. "Granny Smith!" The cousins say at the same time. "What are you doing here?" Luna queries. The old captain walks- no, hobbles, over to the couch, using her Bamboozler as a cane. "I heard the news. If the Great Zapfish is missin', only one group would steal it. The Octarians!" Silence filled the room. "I repeat, The Octarians!" After another moment, Celestia brought herself to say "The Octarians?" Captain Smith's face begins to turn red, but then she takes a deep breath, and explains. "The Octarians are octopus-like creatures, that come in different forms. Octocopters, Octoballs, Octobombers, Octostrikers, and the most dangerous of all, Octolings. The Octolings are a lot like Inklings, but all wear the same gear. The Octarian that took the Great Zapfish was probably Octavio, my pre-war friend..." Luna stated "Okay, why tell us?" Smith sighed, and simply said, "Follow me." She hopped in the kettle. The cousins looked at each-other, shrugged, and hopped in.

Celestia straightened the bow in her tentacles. "Luna, What do you think?" The blue Inkling glanced Celestia's way, and replied. "It looks the same as it always does." Celestia pouted, hoping for more enthusiasm.  The screen before them flickered to life, reading "Let's follow Celestia and Luna live to the studio!" The two rushed into place, just as the giant screen above their studio switched from shoe ads to their faces. "Hold onto your tentacles!" Celestia smiled. "It's Inkopolis news time!" Luna stated neutrally. Celestia suddenly yelled "News Flash! News Flash!" Causing most Inklings to jump, including Luna. Luna knew she had to reply, so she asked in response, "What is it? What is it?!" Celestia looked shoked while answering "Inkopolis's Great Zapfish has... Vanished!" Luna knew the suprise was an act, so she responded acordingly, as the picture she knew would be above her head showed that it was indeed what happened. "Wait seriously?" Celestia leaned backwards. "If it isn't recovered soon, are we gonna lose power?" Luna answered comfortingly, "Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine... probably." Maybe not so comforting, then. Celestia suddenly became indignant. "I wonder if it has anything to do with that UFO crash!" Luna deadpanned, "Sounds likely to me."  "Well, that's all for now. Until next time..." The sisters chorused "Stay Fresh!" The two plopped down on their couch.
