Chapter One: An Average Day in... Ponyville?
Chapter One: An Average Day in... Ponyville?
Her name was Gilda. Once a proud Griffon warrior commanding the front lines of the war between The Griffon Kingdom and Saddle Arabia. Now, a griffon who's name is forever tarnished as a traitorous bastard to all despite all the sacrifices she has made, including her eyesight. All because she wanted to save the life of a young Saddle Arabian from the harshness of war. Now, she has no right to use her birth name. She had no purpose in life anymore. Or so she thought.
His name was Arcadeus. After the war between Changelings and Equestrians, civilian Changelings were rounded up. Some were publicly executed much to the pleasure of Queen Celestia. Others were left to rot in prison or cruel camps. But Changelings who assisted in the war in any way we're tortured. Torturers ripped off their horns and wings and branded them with molten iron with a symbol of an outcast; a moon overshadowing the sun. But the loud ones had their vocal chords ripped out. The Changeling formally known as Arcadeus was no more. Just an empty shell. That is until he met a very special creature.
Her name was Beatrix. A once humble unicorn magician who spent her time entertaining young foals with her magic and tales of wild adventure. But after meeting a special group of travellers, she changed. She protected them when nopony else would. But soon, one of her tales become a reality. Miraculously, she managed to protect her family but at the cost of her hearing. She now discarded her old name and took on her infamous namesake - Trixie.
Three years have passed and they have changed their world forever, even if they get no recognition. And their bond is stronger than blood. Together, they were happy. Together, they wander the world in peace.
Until something changed...
Trixie
Fear gripped the unicorn's heart as she stared at her surroundings. Thick ash hung in the air, permeating through the area and filling her lungs. The sky shone with a deep crimson color. Her blue furred legs slid out from under her and she landed on something soft beneath her. Something familiar...
Blood soaked into her hooves, turning them into a dark violet color. A loud scream erupted from her throat. Tears erupted from her eyes as she hugged the brown, feathery body beneath her. "This isn't real! It can't be!"
Something hard, yet gentle cup her tear-soaked cheek. Forcing one eye open, she was met with the smiling face of her once beloved family member. The smile on her face wasn't her one of gentle affection or confidence. This was one of... contentment.
Trixie's blood ran cold as she clung desperately to the griffon beneath her. A series of taps on her back confirmed her worst fears. Their special family had made a special code of taps in emergency situations. And this one...
Tap... Tap tap tap... Tap tap...
"Take care of yourself..."
"Gilda! Don't leave me! Please!" Trixie forced herself to pull back just enough to gaze into those familiar eyes that she had taken for granted. They were a clear platinum color, a clear sign of blindness but now they had a visible layer of glaze over them. The golden claw still rested gently on her cheek but it was much weaker.
Out of desperation to cling to the last bit of life in her, Trixie firmly held the claw to her face, trying her best to smile down at Gilda. Gilda hated that name. But Trixie always had a certain fondness for it. And sometimes it would just slip out.
But as her head lowered to the ground and her feathery chest stopped moving, Trixie, despite being deaf, could hear her heart breaking. All the strength vanished from the unicorn's body as she quietly sobbed into Gilda's chest.
"This can't be happening... No... No... NO!!!"
A bright light hit Trixie directly in the eyes, forcing her to raise a hoof to shield herself away from not just the sunlight but also what the sun stood for. Queen Celestia. The almighty ruler of Eques. Controller of the Sun. Bringer of light. Destroyer of darkness.
What a joke. She was a murderer, torturer, and enjoyed watching civilians suffer. The only ones less deserving of their titles would be the Elements of "Harmony". Pretentious, self-righteous pricks who slaughter innocent lives "in the name of Harmony". Seven ponies who can get away with anything since they're the Queen's elite. Only one of them seemed to have any sanity left in them. Too bad their last encounter was... less than pleasant.
Nopony even knows their names. Of course, they had aliases. There was Reality Bender, Party Killer, Dawn Breaker, Lil' Misses, FireStarter, Aurora Rogue, and The Valkyrie.
The Valkyrie... The youngest, most recent recruit to the Queen's personal "knights". Yet her power is unrivaled by all other unicorns. She can stand hoof-to-hoof against all the other Elements at once. Although she did lose, she managed to nearly fatally wound four of them while the other two were very beaten up. It was quite a shock to everyone that was watching it live.
Too bad "The Valkyrie" hated her guts.
Whatever. She had more important things to think about. Like getting herself and her family to the next town over; Unicornia. A damned town that believes in unicorn supremacy more passionately than the Queen. Any pegasi, earth ponies, or any other species that enters are either locked up immediately or are nailed to a wooden stake and burned alive slowly. Easily one of the most bucked up towns in the Queen's domain.
Trixie needed to go in there to get some food for her griffon and changeling compadres and herself. After the incident in the Canterlot Empire, most towns would be on a lockdown, keenly monitoring who comes in and out of their limits.
Luckily(more like sadly), though, Unicornia was one of the few towns that refused to believe any news that came from anypony not a citizen. They believed the Queen was "corrupted by the unearthly ways of the sky and is unreliable", which was completely true to an extent(mostly the "corrupted" part). So no newspapers entered the town. The only news they received was a weekly radio broadcast telling about the state of the town and the weather which the "King" or "Queen" controlled. Though they were basically just Mayors with fancy titles.
And since they needed to lay low for a while, possibly for another month or two, this area was one of the safest places in Eques.
A smile spread across the magician's face as she rose up the patch of grass she'd chosen to sleep on and she looked at the two happily sleeping forms of a griffon and a changeling.
"Gaia"'s sleeping form was much more calming and a whole lot more peaceful to be around. If anypony saw the former-warrior right now, they'd imagine her as a rather cheerful griffon to be around who enjoyed making friends, implying that anypony would dare approach a griffon. But these hypothetical ponies would be sorely disappointed, most likely leaving with some open wounds. Gaia hated being pitied, looked down on, or being implied to be weak. For a year after her severe "demotion", she viewed kindness as a weakness - most likely because being kind was why she lost her position - and put even more emotional barriers around herself, lashing out at anyone who even said hello to her. Although she's been improving, her warrior instincts still kicked in from time to time, especially when it came to her eyes.
Nobody, not even Trixie, knew what had happened to her. She didn't talk about her eyes at all, since she seemed to view her lack of sight as a severe weakness.
Also, her dreams were far from pleasant for normal creatures. She dreamed of being back home, being in charge of her old battalion once again, steadily moving up in ranks until she became the Griffon Kingdom's lead commander, leading a charge into a soon to be bloody battlefield.
"Archie", on the other hoof, behaved similar in the realm of sleep and the waking world. Very quiet, almost pitifully so, and always had his mind on other things. Poor guy was the only survivor of Changeling Torture Camp #051 (CTC-051) and one of the very finite number of changelings who was free and didn't commit suicide. The prospect was always on his mind, he had once "told" Trixie. In fact, if Gaia hadn't met him when she did...
And his dreams, for a long time, were very badly affected by his PTSD. Reliving every agonizing moment of the worst three years of his life, often viewing them in even worse circumstances than normal, if that was even possible.
These continued until the day that he'd met "Beatrix". Every night, before they set up camp and got ready to sleep, Trixie would cast a spell of the changeling's mind, sending his shattered brain into a more... hopeful environment. He never said what his dreams held, but the smile on his face every day after he woke up told her enough.
Although they called themselves different names, they would always be Gilda and Arcadeus in her mind.
And I assume I'll always be Beatrix to them.
Guess it's time for a wake-up call... Trixie let a sly grin creep across her face as she slowly made her way over to Gaia. She sat on her haunches as she looked down at the brown-feathered griffon. Her white chest fur rose and fell in a quicker than normal rate. Must be in some sort of fight. Trixie giggled silently to herself, gingerly placing a hoof on Gaia's cheek, giving it a small stroke...
Before pulling it back and slamming it into the griffon's face.
The effect was immediate. Gaia's eyes shot open as she rolled to the right, putting a claw on her cheek, quickly spreading out her wings. She used them to launch herself off the ground before flipping herself over. Trixie could see her mouth making words that made her glad she was deaf for just a moment. Gaia's white, pristine eyes seemed to lock onto the unicorn immediately and she quickly realized just what had happened.
Her seemingly endless stream of curses was cut off as she adopted a small smile to replace her earlier scowl. This happened almost every day and gestured for Gaia to come closer. Even though she couldn't see it, Gaia knew the routine at this point. As the griffon landed gently on the ground, Trixie wrapped a foreleg around Gaia's neck, giving her cheek a gentle nuzzle. After a few seconds and some obvious, though inaudible, grumbling, it was returned.
A few months back, Trixie had made this their universal symbol for "Good morning". Although Gaia was adamantly against it, she eventually learned to accept it. Maybe her heart was slowly warming up to the idea of affection.
Gaia pulled away, a light blush on her face. She quickly turned around and walked over to the still sleeping Archie.
Archie himself looked like... a wreck to be honest. All that remained of his horn was a small black stump. His wings were completely gone, ripped off ruthlessly by his torturers. Several huge scars lay across his neck and on his back from constant whippings, cruel "interrogation methods", and... the obvious. And that molten brand on his chest... Apparently, they stayed with him if he changed form, though Trixie had never seen him do it since... ever.
The saddest part was that he never complained. Even though it might've been hard without a voice, he never appeared to be angry at his past or even about his "disabilities". Even though things were constantly bothering him, he never told others about what they were. He just smiled and shook his head.
Gaia always chose to wake Archie up for reason she never said. Trixie just watched with a small smile as Gaia gently shook Archie awake, his pale turquoise eyes slowly fluttering open. His eyes locked with Gaia's and they shared a small moment of blissful happiness, just looking into each other's eyes.
It was fascinating how Gaia seemed to always know where Archie is and all his physical details even though she's never seen him. Their bond reached much deeper than just heart. It was like their souls were linked.
Two desperate souls, clinging to each other like their lives depended on it. And they did.
"Archie... Archie!" Gaia launched herself forward, wrapping her talons around the changeling's frail body, pulling him into the air as the ground beneath them began to quake. She held him tightly against her chest, a few tears leaking from her closed eyes. "Are you okay?!"
Archie trembled fiercely, blood leaking from the side of his head. He tucked his head deeper into the griffon's chest fur, like a small foal who just woke up from a horrible nightmare.
To be honest, Beatrix felt like doing the same thing. Hot air rushed against her, ripping her black cloak off her back and sent sprawling through the air. Slowly, she forced her head up, locking her gaze with a monster of nightmares. Beatrix's heart froze in fear and her pupils shrunk as the creature took another massive step forward, paw crushing the concrete beneath it.
An Ursa Minor was coming this way. Coming for her.
"Oh, buck it all..."
After a quick breakfast of apples and oats, they were on the road once again. Having walked until midnight the day before, they were ahead of schedule by about an hour. They should arrive there just in time for the midday stores to open!
A small tap against her horn drew her attention away from the map she was levitating in front of her. She quickly rolled it up and turned to look at Gaia, who was slowly walking beside her. On Gaia's back, Archie lay stretched out, his front hooves dangling in the air. He smiled sheepishly at her before gesturing with his head at Gaia's head.
Confused, Trixie looked at the spot Archie had pointed to. For a moment, she just stared at the spot before realization dawned on her. Oh, you little demon! I almost forgot! She nodded at Archie before slowly inching her head forward and...
She gently clamped her teeth down on a small patch of exposed skin on Gaia's neck.
Her prey immediately went still, her eyes wide. The griffon slowly turned to face Trixie, who wore a seemingly innocent smile. To most, it would've just been any other smile. But it sent a clear message to Archie, who was having a hard time not shaking with laughter.
Although Gaia's words of pure indignation and fury fell, literally, on deaf ears, Trixie could make out the general message. Archie clearly got a clear message, throwing his head back, his mouth letting out inaudible, nonexistent laughter. Trixie put a hoof up to her mouth, stifling her own giggles.
If anypony else had done such an atrocity against Gaia, they'd most likely be, well, dead. That part of her neck was a constant reminder of the day that they had met Trixie. And, because of what happened that day, it was very, very sensitive.
And, Archie especially, loved to... play with it. It was honestly fun to tease Gaia at every possible moment.
"Get out of our town!"
"Freaks of nature!"
"You don't belong here!"
Beatrix looked up and away from the small circle of foals that had formed around her as she looked towards the source of the profanities that were being slung about. A small crowd had formed and although she couldn't see who was in the middle, she could relatively make out where the center would be.
For a moment, pure rage ran through her veins before it all went directly into her horn. In a small surge of magical energy, Beatrix vanished from her little circle and appeared in the middle of a bigger one of full-grown mares and stallions. She quickly threw up a small magical barrier as a blast of energy slammed into it, sending particles of pure magical energy flying in all directions.
The crowd let out a collective gasp as Beatrix lowered her shield, casting a glare at all the ponies at the very front on the mob. "Begone." Nopony seemed to understand, looking between each other that obviously said 'Wait, what?'. "I SAID GET OUT OF HERE!" That seemed to get the message across.
As ponies quickly fled from the area, she put a small grin on her face before turning to face the ponies she had freed from this needless torture and-
"Huh?"
-instead saw no pony at all. Huddled up on the ground, curled up in a defensive position, was a partially singed griffon. Several black spots tainted her brown feathers, the most notable one being the mark on her neck. It looked like it had been blasted by raw magical energy. And, even more surprising, was the creature that was beneath her. A small, thin changeling was trembling violently beneath the griffon, tears leaking from his clenched eyes.
I'll ask later. With a shake of her head, she reached outwards with a hoof, gently prodding the brown feathered creature. They immediately reeled around, eyes meeting Trixie's with a harsh glare. Trixie herself gaped at the display of beautiful, pristine white eyes. Wait. White eyes? Then that means-
"What do you want?! Come to spit on us two personally?! Or maybe you expect a reward?! Well, news flash! That's not happening!"
"H-Huh? No! No, of course not!"
"Then what do you want?!"
"I want to help!" The griffon visibly flinched at that, her eyes drawn back to her trembling companion. With a scowl, she began picking herself up, changeling in tow.
"I - No, WE don't need your pit-ow!" A rather bad burn mark on the griffon's hind legs stopped her escape chance dead in its tracks, making her face-planting hard on the concrete road beneath her. Trixie winced at this, quickly kneeling down beside her.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine!" The griffon snarled, almost knocking Trixie off of her hooves herself. After another failed attempt at standing, Beatrix rolled her eyes and her horn ignited in a light blue color. The same color illuminated around the two frail creatures before they slowly rose into the air. "Put us down!"
"Nope. You're coming with me." And, with both furiously screaming griffon and terrified changeling by her side, Beatrix started for her house.
Trixie furrowed her brow in confusion as a... small town came into view. Her gaze shifted between the map and the town. There was no town in between Unicornia and The Forever Free Forrest, aptly named because it's the only territory in Eques that is left untouched by the Queen. Yet nopony knows why it hasn't been claimed in over a thousand years, ponies began calling it The Forever Free Forrest.
Trixie showed the map to Archie, who looked just as confused as her. In fact, it was around midday now, which was around the time they should have reached the city... Unless that town was Unicornia!
What could have possibly happened to the huge city that caused it to be reduced to a small, hillside town?! Could a dragon have come along and stomped it out of existence?! Could a horde of Phoenix have come along and burn it to a crisp?! Or maybe an... U-Ursa Major...? It wouldn't really be that shocking, considering how many enemies this "country" had from different species.
More importantly, why did the castle look like that? Unicornia was one of the few cities in Eques that had a castle aside from the Canterlot Empire, so it was pretty memorable. It was a rather large, white quartz, three-spire castle that, quite honestly, looked like it was copied from some sort of cliche fairy tail. It looked nothing like a purple crystal... tree castle!
Whatever. It was a town that would have food. She wouldn't even need to go near the castle, So the plan wouldn't need to be altered.
With a quick application of magic, she pulled a small scroll out of her aquamarine saddlebag while tucking her map inside in its place. With a shrug, she tapped Gaia on the arm. When she turned to face her, she passed her the scroll. Gaia gave a small smile and held a fist up. With a roll of her eyes, Trixie bumped her hoof against her fist. Archie's black hoof smacked against hers next and a smile spread across Trixie's face.
When her two family members turned away from her, she pulled one more object out of her saddlebag: A small, indigo-hilted dagger. She turned it over in her hoof, staring at the small engraving on the silver blade. A small, four word message was on it. One that made her blood boil.
HARMONY HAS BEEN RESTORED
This knife was meant to be buried in her corpse right now.
With a sigh, she returned it back to her saddlebag and proceeded to make her way towards, what she could only assume was, a post-tragedy Unicornia.
Trixie glanced around curiously as she made her way through the small street of Unicornia. It really was like taking a step back in time from what she expected from the formally massive city. Houses made of yellow and pink colored wood was almost all that could be seen. There weren't any massive mansions or any fancy restaurants anywhere. Instead, it looked more like one of the slums on the outskirts of the Canterlot Empire.
The next odd thing that Trixie noticed was the lack of unicorns in Unicornia. In fact, there were more earth ponies and pegasi than unicorns! Well, I guess they would way more lenient right now. They're probably recovering from some sort of monster attack! Heck, they didn't even search me before I entered the city! This is extremely odd-
She was snapped out of her thoughts when she noticed the excessive number of those earth ponies and pegasi staring at her. When she met the eyes of a pair of earth pony mares, they looked away and went back to their own business. They were whispering about her behind her back. It's almost like... they knew she'd done something...
Oh buck me with a paddle, sideways! Don't tell me they've heard about me while recovering from this catastrophe?! No... Somepony would have come to take her away to the dungeons of Canterlot, awaiting her turn at the gallows by now if they knew what she has done.
So, if these ponies didn't know about what she has done, what did they know about her? And how did they know about her?
Eager to get out of the line of sight, Trixie lowered her head and trudged on. If they were going to be in the area for a few months, it would be best to know the area. Plus, if there were any places that could be exploited during Unicornia's weakened state, Trixie would gladly use it.
Unicornians deserve no pity. No mercy. They should be exterminated. Maybe when a few months pass and they leave, she'll personally come and burn down each and every citizen's house just for fun. Well, it'd be an act of charity to the rest of the world.
Besides, It's not like her reputation could get any worse.
The air surrounding Beatrix seemed to crackle with pure magical energy as she glared down at a trembling stallion, her hoof pinning him to the street. "I dare you to say that again. Go ahead. Say it!"
When he said nothing, she lifted herself off him and let the stallion run off. Taking a deep breath, the magic outburst began to fade into nothingness. She grinned sheepishly at her two terrified companions. "Eh, sorry..."
"Dang. I could tell he was scared out of his wits and I'm blind! Way to go, Beatrix!" Gaia slapped her on the back. "Although, now eyes are gonna be on you."
"Why?"
"I'm pretty sure that that stallion was a pretty important pony."
"Huh?! How?!"
"There! Capture her!" Beatrix looked over her shoulder and paled. There was that blonde maned white stallion with... twenty guards behind him.
"How important do you have to be to have your own guards?" Gaia asked eagerly.
Beatrix throat suddenly felt rather dry. "Um... Living in the castle important...?"
"Whoa." Gaia grinned maniacally. "You just threatened to kill royalty! Just because he called Archie a disgusting little roach! You've got guts!"
"Gee, thanks." She said dryly.
"Heathen! In the name of Prince Blueblood, you are under arrest!"
"So we should probably not get captured, right?"
"Probably."
"So, we running?"
"Yeah... Run!"
The trek through Unicornia was very... odd to say the least. First of all, there was a store that sold only quills and sofas which was called... Quills and Sofas yet there was not a single library to be seen. Unicornia was often considered the holy land of anatomy because of the thousands of books that had been published on the topic due to their morals, or lack thereof. They often dissected creatures instead of just killing them flat out, so the city had more information on anatomy than the books in the Emperial Archives! So where were those books? Did they all get destroyed in the catastrophe?
Secondly, everypony seemed to be happy. From what she'd heard, Unicornians were very selfish, loathing ponies. But all over the town, ponies were very generous. A pony helping another carry some groceries over there. Some pony giving a "friend" a free apple or flower over there. It was very weird.
Thirdly, there was a small DRAGON in this city! And nopony seemed worried! Some even greeted it! Yet, for some reason, it seemed to be scared of her, fleeing the moment that their eyes met!
And fourth-ly(?), the Dragon lives in the castle... WHAT THE ACTUAL BUCK?!
Could the ruler have tamed a baby dragon or something?! What is going on in this town?! Is it really safe for us to be here anymore?! Trixie's eyes were slowly drawn back to the castle just on the edge of the town. The more she looked at it, the more enticing it seemed to become.
Well, nopony seems to know about what I did... So maybe... I can get some answers there? Trixie took a small step towards the massive structure. Besides, I need to know if there is still a threat at large around here! Yeah!
...
Oh, who am I kidding? Certainly not myself. I wanna know why there's a baby dragon in the castle! Surely the ruler would still be having audiences with their citizens like usual, right?
Right?
Up close, the castle was much more realistic-looking. While the "trunk" of the castle was made of crystal(how does the Queen let them get away with that?!), the rest of the castle was rather standard as far as castles were concerned. Violet/Indigo - Wood? Very smooth crystal? Colored dirt? Quartz? WHAT IS IT?! - material made up the top half of the castle. Add a couple gold accents, several big, useless windows, a few spires for dramatic effect, and a balcony and you've got yourself a standard, cliche castle.
Which had no guards around it... Um... Why?
For that matter, where were the patrol guards they had positioned during all hours of the day? Unicornia took great pride in having, quote, "The best guards in Eques - No - in all the cosmos!". So where were they? Did they all die along with the old city? If that's the case, why hasn't their ruler sent for more?
And why am I asking myself so many questions?! With a quick shake of her head, Trixie approached the huge golden double doors to the castle. Gold doors as well? Geez! How in Eques does Celest' let them get away with it?!
With the best poker face she could muster, Trixie raised her hoof up to the castle doors and gave three hard knocks.
One of the things that sucked about being deaf was that when you knock on someone's door, you don't know if they tell you that they're coming or if nobody answers. It really sucks. So Trixie was forced to wait patiently with no indication of when or if somepony would answer.
Finally, her silent prayers were answered when the door suddenly burst open, nearly smacking Trixie in the face. Speaking of getting smacked in the face...
Something slammed face first into Trixie, knocking her straight off her hooves. She lifted a hoof to her face, praying to Lunala that her face wasn't broken. Finding no blood, she quickly rose back up at the same time as her attacker and found herself face-to-face with a pair of blue eyes.
The other pony seemed to realize they were way too close first, stumbling backwards. Finally getting a good look at the other pony, Trixie sized her up. It was a mare with a light pink coat. Her mane and tail were a swirl of deep violet with turquoise streaks running through it.
For a moment, Trixie's heart froze. Violet, turquoise streaked mane with a pink coat and dark blue eyes?
Trixie's horn ignited and the dagger that was in her saddlebag ripped through the material and was swiftly raised to eye level with those blue eyes. Before she could flinch back, the knife was swiftly pressed against her throat, making her entire body tense up. Trixie leaned in until her mouth was right by the mare's ear. And although she couldn't hear what she said next, her words boiled her own blood.
"I've caught you now, 'Valkyrie'."
"Gaia, get Archie the buck out of here!"
"Like I'm going to leave you to get slaughtered!"
"Then hurry back, alright?! Just go!" Reaching into her midnight cloak, Beatrix pulled out a black hilted ten inch knife, casting a glare at Gaia. "Go now! You seemed to have forgotten about last time I had to save your sorry hide against those dozens of Daimond Dogs! I can fend for myself! Now get Archie out of here before he gets hurt!" With one last reluctant look, Gaia slung Archie onto her back and, with one flap of her wings, disappeared into the sky.
As soon as Gaia disappeared from view, her attacker lunged forward, Beatrix barely having enough time to raise her own knife to block the blow, the force nearly knocking it out of her magical grip. A pair of dark blue eyes were shoved into her line of sight, taking up her entire line of sight. Beatrix shivered underneath the look.
"I've caught you now, 'Beatrix'."
Author's Note
Thanks for reading! Any and all criticism is greatly appreciated!
The aliases for The Elements of "Harmony". Some of them are obvious names(Lil' Misses and Party Killer). One will be obvious to alot of people while the rest others are references to awesome stories/tumblr blogs that I hope at least one of you will get. So, to help figure out which alias belongs to who, here's a hint: Three of them are not a part of the "Mane Seven".
I really don't know why this came to me. I mean, I have enough on my plate(Four stories now, three of which are in a state of... "uncertainty"). I know that I'm leaving a lot in mystery about this universe. But trust me when I say that it will all be answered... before the end... Of story five... :P I mean, I've hinted at like nine topics that could be(and may be) made into chapters!
I have a LOT planned for this story but if you, yes you, have any suggestions as for what is to come, let me know! I know from reading other stories that commenters are usually right and also have AMAZING ideas.
Got any questions for me or for any of the characters? Ask away! Every question that gets asked will be answered...
I'm gonna regret saying that, I know it...
Also, I have NO IDEA what this "universe" could be called at this point. Any ideas?
(Spoilers for next few chapters: This story replaces "No Second Prances". What happened to the normal Trixie will be explained later. Also, there'll be some differences with "Gilda" coming up soon. How dare you read this! Go sit in a corner! :P)

Status Report
Not entirely sure what you were expecting, asking me to file these "reports". I know I have some inside information but this seems a bit extreme. Whatever. You pay the bits. Just watch your flank. Digging around in this society is much more dangerous than you - no. You do know. You're one determined horse, 'Beatrix'. I would tell you a lot more cliche lines about my worries for you, but I won't. Just come and visit us sometime. Me and LD can sneak you into The Canterlot Empire somehow. LD can make you a fake ID or I can knock out the guards. Anyways, the first report is enclosed in this letter. I'll need to send them all separately as to not draw attention with a fat envelope.
Love ya,

Starlight Glimmer
Today was a weird, bizarre, confusing, odd, confusing, weird... day. In fact, after this morning, she didn't think it could get any weirder.
That was until a knife was pressed against her throat.
A pair of dark pink eyes threatened to burn hers to ashes. Magical energy flashed across the irises, giving the illusion of beautiful pink waves sloshing around inside her eyes. It could have been considered beautiful by any unicorn who didn't have a piece of sharp, cold metal against her neck.
Releasing her held breath was a mistake as her neck was forced to press even harder against the blade, drawing a thin red line beneath her chin. She wanted to flinch away from the pain, but she knew that doing that would be a... mistake.
Instead, she barred her teeth and forced out a few quiet, words. "What do you want?" Her attacker didn't seem to react to her words. Her breathing, which was right against her muzzle at this point, didn't even hitch or change.
She was perfectly calm. Which was concerning.
Was she here for her? For Twilight? For Spike?! All of them?! Was she a burglar? A tax collector?!
"Starlight? You're still here?" Oh, buck me! Starlight didn't turn her head, but she could tell that that was Spike several feet behind her. She hoped that this other mare didn't see him-
"Oh! Somepony is here! I'll go get Twilight!" Twilight! Yes! She should be able to take care of this pony! She's an alicorn, surely she could-
"No cocky comment this time? A shame. I would've liked a magical surge to carve your flesh into tiny pieces." Starlight flinched very slightly, causing the knife to be pressed twice as hard against her. She could feel a few drops of warm blood dripping down her chest. "You're not going anywhere."
Oh Celestia, please! I don't wanna die!
Magic was out of the question. This pony wasn't stupid. She'd probably slit her throat the moment she ignited her horn. Straight up fighting was also a no-go. Hoof to hoof fighting against a unicorn would be hard for an earth pony, much less another unicorn. And it's not like she'd get one hit in before that sharp object was between her head and her heart. That meant there was only one option left:
"Please don't kill me!"
Beg.
She expected her outburst to at least startle the mare but again, she didn't even flinch. Was she deaf or something? Do I really wanna take that risk? No. Did she really have a choice? No.
"TWILIGHT! HELP!" Again, hardly any movement from the pony. So she was deaf. Starlight almost smiled. She had a chance-
"I know you're yelling." Starlight's pupils dilated. "I might be deaf but I can feel your breath on my face. What, not going to fight me on your own? And you called me a coward for fighting you with my family! You remember them, don't you? Well, this is for them!" A glowing blue hoof smashed against the side of Starlight's face. The force of the blow sent her lurching to the right, pain quickly spreading throughout her body. Her entire body went numb. She could practically feel this mare's magic invading her blood stream. But how? All she did was-
"You won't be moving for a while. Perfect." With the knife still against her throat, the unicorn took a few steps back, allowing Starlight to finally see the mare in full.
The mare was much buffer than any normal unicorn. The muscles in her legs and forelegs were nearly twice as thick as an average unicorn's, implying that she did a lot of running or fighting with her hooves. Her coat was a light cerulean color which had several unkempt patches. Her mane was a mix of light silver and baby blue which could've looked much better if it was cleaned... at all. On her back were two heavy looking turquoise saddlebags, the right one having a pretty big rip in the side. On each of her flanks was a wand cutie mark with a starry, cyan crescent moon coming out of the tip. It was a mark that symbolized a special talent in magic.
Even if she didn't have a knife, she would still have been pretty intimidating.
"Paralysis Spell. One of the many I stole from the Canterlot Magical Reservoir." Starlight would've raised an eyebrow if her face wasn't still numb. Canterlot Magical Reservoir? The name didn't ring any bells... "I left your mouth unaffected. I might be deaf, but it becomes a necessity to read lips when talking to someone who can't." She seemed to spit out that word. Someone who couldn't talk? What did that mean?
"Who are you?!"
"Like you don't remember." The mare growled. "I'm the one who survived. Oh, how many bits I would've paid to see Celestia dig into you!" Starlight's eyes widened. Could this mare... possibly be one from her old village?! She didn't remember seeing her there when she went and apologized to all of them or seeing her at there when she took it over. She mentioned family... Was she related to one of those ponies? Did she still think she was that same pony? It would explain some of her actions...
She opened her mouth to try and say something but was stopped when the mare raised a hoof. "Ah, but that's besides the point. I didn't come here to kill you. However..." All four of her cerulean hooves began glowing a light pink color. "I will make you pay for what you did to my family!"
Rearing up on her hind legs, the mare slammed her front hooves onto the crystal floor. A large pink shock wave extended from her hooves, making small cracks in the floor and the walls. A cocky smile spread across the mare's face. "This is for Arcadeus and Gilda!"
Starlight did not expect the mare to turn around and do a back flip however she froze in place half way through, leaving her body suspended upside down with all four glowing hooves pointed directly at Starlight. Pure magical energy began to congregate and compress in between her hooves, forming somewhat of an energy ball.
Starlight was trembling. She hadn't felt magic like this since she was flying through a portal into the past! And it was all In the shape of a small pink ball. What kind of magic is this?!
The mare, apparently finished with gathering energy, finished her flip and this time reared up her hind legs, a lot like a certain apple farmer ready to buck a tree. Only instead of a tree, it was an orb of pure magical death!
Her hind hooves connected with the orb and instead of actually just sending it at Starlight, a huge beam of pink energy shot out of it. Some might want to look at it from three different angles in rapid succession. Starlight didn't even notice that the knife wasn't at her throat anymore. Her instincts began screaming at her to throw up a magical barrier or something but with the spell still active on her, it was impossible.
Starlight never really understood the term "frozen in fear". She always had a calm, collected demeanor even when fighting a bucking alicorn. But now, her body was forcing her to stay in place. Not even her magic would rush to her horn.
Something violet flashed into her view and suddenly a familiar looking magical shield appeared in front of her. The noise when the magics collided was ear-splitting. Heavy wind whipped around her, sending her mane and tail into complete disarray. She closed her eyes as tightly as she could, praying to Celestia that this was some bad nightmare.
Reality sucks.
Archie
Archie smiled lazily as he watched Trixie trot into the distance and towards the village. He just hoped that this time she didn't overdo herself like in the past towns.
His gaze slowly turned away from the retreating scenery and to the back of Gaia's neck. The griffon had adamantly refused when he suggested he could walk fine by himself so he was being forcefully carried by her. Although he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy it just a little bit.
Reaching out with his front hooves, he wrapped them gently around the feathery neck in front of him. Unlike when anything else tries to show her affection, Gaia didn't tense up or flinch away from his touch. In fact, she openly embraced his affection. Seeing Gaia actually smile all those years back for the first time when he gave her some of his love made him want to see it all the time.
And every time he hugged her, that same smile spread on her face.
Archie bolted awake, mouth opened into a silent scream. His hooves held the side of his head tightly, tears now openly dripping out of his wide eyes. He could feel it... Feel them... The scapels cutting into his outer shell, needles being forced into his legs with powerful magnets all over his limbs, the burning agony of having his wings ripped from their roots, his horn being repeatedly stomped on and kicked until it broke off, the molten iron burning his body with a permanent reminder of what happened, his throat being cut open in order to shut him up...
His stomach began convulsing. His head pounded. His body was shaking.
It's not fair... It's not fair! What did I do to deserve this?! Silent sobs wracked his body as he tossed and turned, trying to shake the awful, disgusting memories away. Trying to shake away the smiling faces of the stallions and mares that chained him down and took turns beating him.
Trying to shake away the pain.
His body froze immediately when he felt a pair of talons grab his shoulders. "Archie? Can you turn your body off? It's making a lot of noise." Gaia... His savior... Yet he always just caused trouble for her.
He mouthed a small "sorry", knowing that she couldn't see him. Besides, it seemed to be the only thing that he did nowadays. Apologize. 'Sorry for eating the last apple. I know you like them. I'm sorry.' 'Sorry for making you carry me. I'm sorry for being an inconvenience to you.' 'I'm sorry for wasting your time.' It was all the same.
"Hey. You alright? You're shaking." He was? And he didn't even realize it... Again, he mouthed a "sorry" before forcing his body to stay still and hanging his head. "I'll take that as a no. What's wrong? You have a nightmare or something?"
Damn it... Archie had tried desperately to keep these nightly night terrors to himself and away from Gaia. She had enough to worry about. And now this too?
"You... remembering your... past?" He couldn't stop his head from giving a small, subtle nod. "You wanna... talk about it?" He shook his head. "Okay... Well, if you want to, I'll be here. We're sticking together. So I'm here for you... Merciful Talons above, I'm bad at his sappy shit." Gaia laughed dryly. "But, um... just remember that, okay?"
Archie's eyes widened. He could feel a familiar energy entering his body. An energy he hadn't tasted in so long.
Love... It was love... coming from Gaia...
Archie whipped around and threw himself at Gaia, making her fall backwards with him on top. "Archie? What the hell?" Archie buried his face into the white patch of feathers on her breast, tears quickly soaking them. His black hooves were wrapped tightly around Gaia. "Archie...?"
With a shaky hoof, Archie lightly began tapping and doing tiny rubs on Gaia's back. (- .... .- -. -.- -.-- --- ..-)
Gaia's eyes began leaking tears and a small smile grew on her face. She wrapped her talons around Archie, although with a bit of reluctance, and gave him an awkward hug. "C'mon, you stupid bug. I'm supposed to be the tough one, damnit..."
Archie hid his smile in Gaia's chest, his body trembling. Again, he felt that enticing pull of Gaia's love pouring into his body. It was calming, feeling love for the first time in nearly a decade. It almost made him feel like a changeling again.
But it didn't matter what he was. He had someone who cared about him again.
He had a family again.
Archie tightened his hug slightly and closed his eyes. He'd become so accustomed to feeling love from both Gaia and Trixie that he almost forgot what it was like to live without it. While he could survive off of regular food, he didn't need to eat much when he could feed off some love.
He just hoped they weren't loving him so he'd eat less.
Archie smiled at the thought. Ha. Yeah right.
Starlight Glimmer
When life decided to snap her out of shock, the wind had settled, the magical attack was gone, and her body could move again. Her first thought was to run but stopped when she saw Twilight standing once in front of her.
And, hovering a few feet above where that bizarre magic came from, was that blue mare, surrounded by Twilight's magical aura with a very bored expression on her face. "Twilight!"
The princess turned towards her with a relieved smile on her face. "Starlight! Oh, thank Celestia you're okay! I was so-"
"Meh."
Both mares turned towards the blue one who still looked very bored. "If this is the best you've got, I think that Celestia chose the wrong pony for the Elements..."
"What?!" Twilight was practically fuming. "I'll have you know that my magic is much superior to yours! But that is not why she chose me! Besides, I don't think you're in any position to talk, Trixie!"
Starlight's ears perked. "Wait, you know her?!"
"Yeah. I thought she'd changed, but..." Twilight gave a sigh. "I suppose not. But she's contained now. She can't get out of my magic grip-"
"Okay, seriously?" The pony apparently called Trixie called. "At least use a level three Telekinetic Grasp spell! This spell is pathetic!"
"What?!" Starlight took a step away from Twilight, who's mane was beginning to spark. "Celestia herself taught me this spell-"
"Ah. That explains it. You learned from a teacher who is shit. I'd rather learn from a little filly."
"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT CELESTIA! I COULD HAVE YOU JAILED, YOU ANNOYING BRAGGART!" Once again, Starlight was trembling in fear, but now from an alicorn who's mane and tail were on fire and eyes filled with pure rage.
Trixie just let out a small yawn. "With this spell?" She blew a raspberry. "Puh-lease. If you want to jail me..." Trixie raised a hoof and punched a hole in the aura surrounding her, making Twilight's magic fizzle out and causing the mare fall to the floor. "You'll need stronger magic than that."
"W-What?" This time, it was Twilight who was suprised and shocked. "H-How did you..."
"If that's all it takes to raise the sun, maybe I could hold it for ransom or something..." Trixie put a hoof to her chin. "Oh, the things I could ask for..."
"What kind of amulet are you using?! Did you get the Alicorn Amulet back?!" When Trixie didn't answer, Twilight slammed her hooves onto the crystal floor and spread her wings to full length. "Answer me!"
"Twilight..." She tapped the enraged Alicorn on the shoulder. "She's deaf... Did you forget?"
"Huh? No she's not! How has she been hearing us?"
"By reading our lips? Didn't you meet her before?"
"I have! And she wasn't deaf, for Equestria's sake! In fact, she seemed to hear everything that was said about her!"
"Well, she is now! So what are we going to do about her?! She broke through your spell with no magic at all!"
"...I don't know..."
Trixie
Trixie clicked her tongue, watching the two ponies bickering between themselves. Sadly, she could only make out one half of the conversation. They seemed to be talking about her, but it was hard to tell with only being able to read Valkyrie's lips.
I could probably kill both of them right now... But if they're here, they probably know what I want to know. And it's not like they could stop me from leaving... Trixie cleared her throat, drawing the attention of both mares.
"I can hold off on my revenge on you-" She pointed a hoof at Valkyrie, who flinched slightly. "for a little while longer. Just answer my questions. But if you tell Celestia I was here..." Her hooves reignited and the knife she'd tossed to the side landed on her upturned hoof. "I'll kill both of you." Trixie smirked when both of them went wide-eyed. She should kill them, but that'd draw attention to this area. And they needed to stay here for a while.
She'd kill then when they left if they were still in town.
"Do I make myself clear?" Without waiting for them to answer, Trixie tapped the knife against the crystal floor. "Are the other Elements in this town?" They both nodded, a confused look on their faces. Trixie only grunted. Of course they'd all just so happen to be in the town we're heading to. How could they have known?! "Have there been any big threats or disasters within the last six months?" The lavender alicorn went on about some pretty serious sounding stuff; A magic stealing centaur thing, a bug bear, weird black tentacles with blue spikes, and a time travelling pony who almost ended the world. No wonder Unicornia looked like this!
For some reason, Valkyrie looked ill while that last one was being explained. Odd.
"Are there any immediate threats here?" Their negative response somewhat relieved her. Well, aside from the immediate threat in front of me.
"Lastly, point me in the direction of your cheapest place to get a lot of food."
Starlight Glimmer
Starlight couldn't help but feel that today had somehow gotten even weirder. Trixie, a pony who had put a knife to her throat, tried to vaporize her with some sort of unknown magic, punched a hole in Twilight's spell, and then threatened to kill both of them was just walking away from the castle. No punishment. No panic-filled screaming. No rioting. Just an eerie quietness in the castle's main corridor.
Okay, that second one wasn't true. Twilight was currently hyperventilating and mumbling obscenities at the cerulean mare. It was very odd to see her worked up like this. Sure, she got very agitated from time to time, but not like... this!
"Twilight...?" Starlight asked, cautiously taking a step closer. "You okay?"
"Am I okay...? Am I okay?! AM I OKAY?!" Starlight flinched at Twilight's raised tone, praying to Celestia that she wasn't on the receiving end of... this. "No! Because that braggart not only mocks me, but also Celestia! Right in front of me! And she expects me not to tell her?! Who does she think she is?!"
"Um, Twilight-"
"SPIKE! I need you to take a letter! Right now!"
"Twilight, I don't think-"
Before Starlight could finish her thought, Spike rushed into the room, scroll and quill ready. "Ready!"
Clearing her throat, Twilight began the letter, her pacing not helping anypony present. "'Dear Princess Celestia, recently there was an attack on my castle and on my student Starlight. It is with great regret that I must tell you that this attack was done by a pony I thought had changed by the name of Trixie-'"
"Wait, Trixie?!" Spike stared wide eyed at Twilight. "Trixie was here?!"
"Yes, I'll explain soon. But I need to get a message to Celestia immediately!" Spike quickly nodded and raised his quill once again. "Anyways, continuing where I left off, '-and it appears she has in her possession magic not even I have seen before. I'm worried that she might have gotten her hooves on the Alicorn Amulet again or possibly something even stronger. Since there are no officers in Ponyville, I would like to formally request a small squad of at least five guards be sent here to apprehend her. Normally I'd do it myself if possible, but she seems to be capable of breaking through my magical grip and possibly my other spells. She might have found a way to personally block my magic. She did have a grudge against me for a while. I'd like to warn these guards that she is armed and doesn't mind making threats on somepony's life. Yours truly, Twilight Sparkle.'"
Starlight bit the inside of her cheek and turned to look out the open castle doors. Trixie had disappeared from view. Something nagged at her mind as every detail of the mare flashed through her mind. She tried to match the details to any of the ponies in her old village but only things that were minor coincidences came to mind like mane style or coat color. While a filly or colt could share these qualities with their parents, it wasn't guaranteed. In fact, it was nearly a bit flip for whether or not they did get their parents attributes or not.
But one particular thought wouldn't stop poking at her brain. The look in her eyes... It was the same one she had all those months ago when she looked in the mirror at her old village. A look a bitterness, rage, and vengeance. But buried under those was something even stronger.
It was a look of purpose.
"Trixie... Just who are you?"
Trixie
Trixie sighed when she felt the castle doors shut behind her. It was almost humorous how none of them bothered to check behind the huge, open doors for eavesdroppers. But what she saw was far from funny.
The purple one didn't bother to heed her warning. She saw that wisp of green smoke fly out the nearest window. All it took was a quick spell for her to find out it was a letter that began with 'Dear Princess Celestia'. Although why she referred to her as 'Princess' was beyond her.
But that wasn't important. What was important was the fact that the second that message made it to the Queen, an entire battalion would be on their way to arrest her, not without trying to beat her up a bit. The royal guard was infamous for beating ponies before taking them into custody and, sometimes, doing even worse things to... mares.
It was disgusting how this damned country was both racist and sexist, even to it's own race.
Buck this country...
The stares and odd looks were still very obvious to Trixie as she trotted down the dirt path. She had to admit; All this attention without the threat of being jailed was rather nice. It was even nicer to know that they were scared of her.
They should be. All it would take is one spell for everything they cherish to be destroyed.
Of course, she'd never do that, even to bastards like unicornians. As far as she was concerned, they weren't part of this country. No. These kinds of spells were only for them. The ponies who ran this country. The ponies who took pleasure in other's pain. The ponies who take what they have for granted.
The ponies who were a part of the Elements.
Beatrix felt a hard hoof rest on her shoulder, snapping her out of her daze. She turned to it's owner, Archie, who pointed just underneath his eye, a worried expression etched into his face. Beatrix quickly wiped away the tears that were streaming down her face and turned away from him. "I'm fine..."
Yet another lie she'd told him. She wasn't fine. In fact, if she didn't have Archie and Gaia to worry about, she'd probably run back into The Canterlot Empire and kill that bucking bitch!
"Those damned Elements..."
"W-Wait, please! I'm sorry! I-It was just one loaf!" Beatrix turned to look towards the source of the screams and almost groaned when she saw an alleyway on the other side of the street. Against her better judgement, she trotted over and peeked around the corner. All she could see were the backsides of two ponies.
"Aww, look at her, Party! So cute... So adorable... So... pure..."
"Stop moaning! Sweet Lunala, you're acting like you're receiving a proper rut-"
"Oh, Bite me! I've seen what you do with those mares before you kill them. But this cute little thing..." Beatrix barely heard a whimper over one of the mare's cackling. "This filly's all mine."
"N-No! Please! I-I was starving! I-I'll give it back! Please don't hurt me!"
"Aww, do you hear her Party? Oh damn, I can't wait!" The mare on the left suddenly rushed forward. The filly let out a high pitched scream but it was quickly cut off when the pony...
Beatrix shoved a hoof over her mouth and forced herself to look away. She could hear the filly's muffled screams while the other pony, presumably named Party, kept making lewd remarks.
She felt sick to her stomach. That mare... She... Doing that to a filly...
Beatrix knew where this was going. It wasn't that difficult to figure out. That mare was planning on doing more than forcefully kissing a bucking filly...
The sound of somepony smacking their lips brought Beatrix back to the situation at hoof. "Mmm. For a filly, she's a damn good kisser..."
"Have I mentioned how bucked up you are?"
"Like you aren't more than I am."
"Touche. So what? You just gonna do your thing in public? I didn't take you as an exhibitionist."
"Well, sometimes I can't help myself sometimes. I mean, look at her! Beautiful orange fur, bright violet mane and tail, big purple eyes, nice round flank... Say, what's your name cutie?"
"S-S-Scoo... taloo..."
"Scootaloo, hmm? See Party? Even her name is adorable!"
"So you want me to stay and watch, or..."
"Stick around if you want. You know as well as I do that the sounds of screaming or even moaning coming from alleyways isn't anything new here. Nopony will bother looking. Hear that, Scootaloo? We can be private here. Just me and you..."
"P-Please don't hurt me... I'm sorry..."
"Oh, don't cry. I don't want to hurt you. I just want to have a bit of... fun..."
"F-Fun?"
"Mmhm... We can have a lot of fun..."
"Oh, buck it. Fine, I'll stay and watch. I know that tone of yours. Don't wanna miss this! You don't mind if I just help myself, do you?"
"Of course not. Make yourself comfortable."
"Sweet."
"Now, darling... Let's have some fun..."
Beatrix felt her tooth crack under the pressure her jaw was giving it. She felt disgusted just thinking about it. It didn't take long to realize that the pony 'Party' was likely 'Party Killer' and the other pony was one of the other Elements. What they were doing in the streets of Canterlot was beyond her. But all that mattered was what those bastards did to that filly, Scootaloo.
Another reason to kill those miserable pieces of Eques scum.
Trixie stared up at the shop in front of her. Oddly enough, it looked like a bakery of some sorts. Valyrie had said something along the lines of 'Cougercube Morter' or something. Apparently this place had some cheap food, which was odd since it was, well, a bakery. Most bakeries charge from ten to twenty bits for a single... loaf... (Ugh, damn it...)
Most bakeries are run by pegasi who obtain wheat, sugar, and whatever else from earth ponies and claim that they're selling for just barely over what they bought it for when, in actuality, they're selling for nearly twice what they paid. Whether the government did it for the bits or just to insult earth ponies - both of which are very plausible - was anypony's guess.
But, then again, this is Unicornia. Things that make sense here don't anywhere else.
With a shrug, Trixie stepped into the shop, instantly coming face-to-face with... a pink pony.
"Hi!"
Party Killer
Sex: Mare
Age: 19-24
Rank: Element of Harmony
[THIS INFORMATION IS CLASSIFIED. ANY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONAL THAT READ THIS SHALL FACE CHARGES OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER. CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK.]
Party Killer is a light pink pony mare with a slightly darker, curly mane. Her Cutie Mark is that of three cyan and yellow balloons, her special talent being throwing parties.
She seems to have experienced some severe mental trauma, as evidenced by her violent outbursts and traces of a spell used on her mind.
When interviewed about this by a guard years prior, this is what she had to say:
G: So, [CONDEMNED], I know this is a touchy subject, but this is for your application. Okay?
P: ...I understand.
G: Have you ever suffered from any mental trauma, possibly as a foal?
P: ...Yes...
G: Can you tell me about it?
P: ...You did a background check on my family, right?
G: Yes.
P: That include my siblings?
G: Yes...
P: So you know about Maud, right?
G: Yes, I do. Wait, are you saying-
P: I have a question for you, Mr. Hothoof.
G: Um, yes?
P: You love your family, right? Your wife and your lovely little daughter?
G: ...Um, yes! Of course! Very much so!
P: How would you feel if your brother or even your best friend came into your house while you were sleeping and killed both of them, put their blood on your hooves, put a knife on your bedside table, and you woke up with a dozen guards barging into your room and beat you within an inch of your life and then threw you in jail, without any knowledge about what is going on? And when you finally are proved innocent, you go home and find nopony there? And then, you find out from some random passerby that they were buried last week? What. Would. You. Do?
G: ...
P: ...
G: [CONDEMNED], I... I don't know...
P: If that is all, I'll be leaving now.
For information on the incident, see document [MAUD], page 53.
Party appears to get enjoyment from dismembering and torturing criminals. When interviewed by Queen Celestia herself, this is what she had to say:
C: We have found several warehouses and abandoned building covered in blood and body parts. A quick DNA test proved that the blood belonged to criminals, some minor and some major. And your hoofprints were at each of these locations. Could you please explain.
P: Simple. It's revenge.
C: Revenge? On who?
P: God.
C: God?
P: Or whatever equivalent there is. I want to completely disseminate and destroy their work. Make a mockery of it, you know? The fact that they're also criminals is just a nice little extra.
C: Why would you want revenge on God?
P: I would think that you of all ponies would know, Queen.
C: ...
P: Why the pale face? Hmm?
C: Who told you?
P: Did you know I love to paint? Especially with the color red. And it's amazing what you can do by freaking out a pony, making him fake sleep, and then paint on the far wall that I know he's awake and also under his bed. Their reactions are priceless.
C: ...We'll continue this chat later...

Party has only not visited the castle while in the Empire once on [**]-[**]-[***]. When asked by the Queen, this was her response:
C: You didn't show up yesterday.
P: I know.
C: Why not?
P: It was that day...
C: I know very well what day it is. But that is not an acceptable reason. What was more important than coming here?
P: Yesterday... she's in control for the entire day...
C: What are you talking about? Who?
P: ...Pink...
C: Party, who are you talking about?
P: Pink.
C: Party!
P: Pink.
C: Guards! Take her away!
[Two guards wearing standard gold armor began escorting Party out of the room.]
P: Her name is Pink.
C: What?
[Guards take Party out of the room, shutting the door behind them]
For more information about 'Pink', see [INTERVIEW WITH PINK] pages 1-192.
Hey Beatrix. Managed to scrape up a few interviews about this girl for ya. Figured it'd be a bit more useful than just some standard info. Send my regards to Archie and Gaia! <3 -LD
Author's Note
Just a heads up, Trixie is not OP. The reason for her magic being as strong as it is will be explained very soon.
Hope you all enjoyed it! Any criticism is greatly appreciated!
So who was that other Element that was... having fun with Scootaloo?(Poor Scoots) And why did I even include it in the story?
...
Mwuhahahaha!
(Again, any ideas for what you would like to see would be awesome! As long as it doesn't involve clop or grimdark levels of Gore in it, chances are it'll be a good idea. Sexual implications and mild gore use is fine. I can add the tags if I need to. And as long as a character I have plans for doesn't die :P)
