Applebloom was dressed in her Filly Scouts uniform; hats and all. She took pride in the fact that she had gotten the most badges in her class. “Do you guys really havta’ stay home,” Applebloom asked in almost a whimper. “Remember? I have Spring Training at the Wonderbolts Academy for Gifted Pegasi Fillies,” Scootaloo said proudly. “And I’m not a Filly Scout anymore,” Sweetie Belle stated with a roll of her eyes. “Ah know, but ah was hoping we could do this together. And plus without ya Diamond tiara will be picking on me even more!” “At least you don’t have Silver Spoon, most fillies that used to go don’t go anymore.” Sweetie Belle said. “That’s kinda the main reason why I have the most badges in the class, ain’t it,” Applebloom sighed. “Don’t worry, just stand up to her anytime she tries to pick on her. Make her know that you’re not going to be teased by her anymore!” Scootaloo said. Applebloom waited outside for the cart that would take her to the Filly Scout campsite to come. It was about 6 pm, so it wasn’t very bright outside. The sky, in fact, was a hazy gray, crickets chirping as flies buzzed around the small light above her. Finally, the cart rolled around the corner, it was pulled by two large stallions. Each two foals sat in their own row in the cart. Diamond Tiara sat in the front, next to her was the only other empty seat. Applebloom glared at Diamond, “ah’d rather just stand.” Cheerilee frowned, “Applebloom do not be mean, and plus it’s dangerous to stand in a moving cart, now please sit down.” Applebloom lowered herself down, keeping her back to Diamond Tiara. She suddenly felt somepony tap her shoulder. “Why do I have to sit next to the blank flank?” Diamond Tiara whispered. Applebloom ground her teeth, “why do I have to sit next to the snob?” She snapped. Only for Diamond Tiara to tell me Cheerilee on her. “That’s not fair, Diamond Tiara is always picking on me and my friends. But when we do it ta her she wants to run away like a chicken!” Cheerilee sighed, “Applebloom if you have a problem with anypony don’t take it into your own hooves. That’s why you’re in trouble too.” Applebloom sat down, muttering words she;d never thought she would say. She just couldn't wait to get to the campsite and get a cabin away from Diamond Tiara. They finally pulled into a clearing in the woods, seven cabins sat in a row, and a campfire sat a few feet from them, many logs and chairs set around it. The foals squealed in delight but Applebloom merely grumbled. The foals stormed into cabins, some chasing after their friends. Applebloom ran after Ruby Pinch, figuring she was the closest she had to a friend here. Applebloom climbed onto the bed above Ruby and smiled. Diamond Tiara was nowhere to be found. She made her bed, which was lime green blankets with small apples on it. And laid against it, sure she could head to dinner with the other foals, but for some reason, she didn’t feel like it. Instead, Applebloom snuggled under her blanket and closed her eyes.
