Sandy Awakening
It was night. Derpy was unconscious and stretched out along a beach of fine white sand somehow.
The peaceful roar of the waves and the ocean aroma woke her.
She faintly opened her yellow eyes.
Feeling bizarre and somewhat weak she raised her head softly and looked around puzzled, putting a hoof on her chin as she pondered at the situation.
No fear had struck her, she was only confused and determined to make sense of her surroundings.
Still lost in thought she couldn’t recall anything, nothing. It was like nothing happened, no logic to how she got there or where she was.
She wasn’t weak anymore; in fact she was in an excellent state of being.
As she began to get up she staggered a bit but managed to force herself up yet, not feeling any pain.
Looking around once more She noticed she was in the middle of a bay.
Glancing to her left she saw a vast sea of calm blue swirls. To her right she observed a dense maze of lush emerald green plants.
With no consideration nor hesitation she trotted directly into the jungle of green, unknowing of what she might find lurking in the confines of the olive green forest mesh.
Velvet grasses moved across her body, they felt, soothing and enlightening.
The soft blue glow illuminated through the leaves of the palm trees shimmering on Derpy, making her smile enormously.
As faint as the glimmering beams were, it was still however bright enough for Derpy to catch glimpses of her own formless shadow once in a while, as it scattered across the root inhabited ground as Derpy galloped through the jungle brush.
It was rather gorgeous inside the rainforest in the tropical night, the vivid blue rays of light pouring onto the vine covered floor, and the shadows of the trees.
And the reflections of light gleamed off of the glossy leaves of wax and diamond water droplets. And lastly the cool weightless fog.
Everything overflowed Derpy with boundless spirit. She closed her eyes for a moment to take in a breath of the cool fresh air before treading further into unexplored grounds.
There was no stopping her.
