Forgotten within the rocks, and plagued by shards of memories that he can’t place, Sage would soon be whisked away from the first place he knows. Perhaps the Griffon who finds him will be forgiving to him. Or perhaps he will be traded, sold away to the highest bidder, be it pony, Dragon, Griffon, or whoever else decides to place value on him. It’s going to be a long, and dangerous road ahead, one that not many care to take. Hopefully he will be able to overcome the handicaps placed on him, lest all that is, and ever was, cease to exist.

As a fair warning, for most of the beginning of this story, this will take place in the Dragon homeland. This is not permanent by far, but a large portion of the overall story will revolve around this area. Equestria, and subsequently, the Crystal Empire, will play the main role eventually, but for the beginning, the Dragon homeland is the main place that will be followed.

There will also be interludes within the chapters, that may become long enough to be considered chapters themselves, that will show the current state of Equestria from Celestia's point of view. In the future, I may re-write these chapters as third person, to allow the story to show only the main character's point of view in first person.
