How could you?

Both Marble and Big Mac are deep in thoughts. Very deep in thoughts, as the name of the chapter says. Marble Pie has a crush on Big Mac, but Big Mac already has a marefriend. However, both of them began to actually think about each other, as if Big Mac does have a crush on her too, but since Marble doesn't know anything from Big Mac's social life, and so doesn't Big Mac, It's like they don't know about each other a bit, but still can't stop thinking about a single detail both ponies have. As if the Heart's Warming with Apple, Pie family meant everything to them.

Let's begin with Big Mac.

Ponyville

It was a normal day. A shining morning in Ponyville, as Big McIntosh heard the birds singing. He couldn't forget about yesterday, he just couldn't, -couldn't- help but think about the sweetest mare in the world. She made him the proudest stallion he could ever be. It was that time when he could imagine her cute smile, hot pink beautiful eyes and a sweet name, Sugar Belle. She makes the sweetest pies ever! Also apple treats! He could never forget about he battle he had with Feather Bangs, before Sugar Belle even noticed. He said that Sugar Belle will like him more, a lot more then some stallion from farm. But he was wrong. Big Mac shook his head a bit, and smiled for himself. However, he made a frown, too. There was something that was bothering him. Something he didn't think of before, that grey quiet mare who gave him a cute smile, too. She was also giving him 'butterflies', for so long, he could not stop thinking about her at the time. He had a crush on her, before he met Sugar Belle. But there was something special about her.. he couldn't remember what. He stopped thinking for a moment, and went on a walk, just so he can enjoy this nice day. He remembered the days he met a lot of nice mares, Cheerilee, the bubbly teacher, or Rainbow Dash, the daring pegasus,  but only Marble was the 'apple of his eye' back in the time. He walked straight the road, meeting many ponies who were just coming by and saying hi! He couldn't help but think. What exactly is she doing right now? Could she be heartbroken if she knew this? Or, am *I** heartbroken?* It was like, he never thought of that before, even that he had a marefriend now, he felt like, they aren't really together, they haven't even kissed, they just nodded, they didn't have any dates, she didn't do anything to make the pair work. Big Mac had to. She also liked Feather Bangs for a bit, so Big Mac was jealous. Well, at least she liked his song a bit. What is the point of this? There was also one thing he forgot, he was actually thinking out loud. As soon as he realized it, he stopped for while, looking at the beautiful morning sky with clouds slowly moving, he was quietly thinking...

Are you thinking of me, Marble Pie, just like I am now?

Meanwhile on the Rock Farm

The Pie family excluding Pinkie was just having breakfast now. Marble Pie was brighten up with joy, like she never was. She never really knew why, why all of sudden. She never really was that happy for sure. She did wonder why, why yes, she did, but never found an answer to that. She was just quietly thinking about the Heart's Warming day with Apple family, yet, Maud Pie, her sister, noticed.

„What are you thinking about?“ Maud tried to talk with her younger sister, Marble slightly shocked, blushing, whispered: „H- how do you know that I'm t- thinking?“. Maud turned her head to Marble's a bit, and then said, „It is seen on your face, you are very deep in thoughts...“ Maud smiled a bit, „also the crystals on your hooves“ Maud continued, „they see it too.“  Marble was silent for a while. It kinda creeped her out. Yet, she still couldn't stop thinking about the Heart's Warming. Not really -the- Heart's Warming, no, she couldn't stop thinking about that gorgeous, quiet red stallion with flowing ginger mane. It was one of her favorite moments in life, being with him. They were also the most enjoyable moments she ever had. She does have a crush on him, she just wasn't really that brave to make a move. What's confusing, she didn't even know if she wants to make a move. She didn't want to get all the attention, infact, attention is her worst nightmare. She likes the quiet places, the places where nopony ever goes to, the places she likes the most. She is also in her own worlds sometimes, yet still wondering about him. The red stallion who made her happy. Big McIntosh! She really was deep in thoughts, as Maud blinked at Marble, saying, „Hey Marble. You still haven't answered to my sentence.“. Marble quietly, as always said her cutest speech ever, in a wonderful voice, „Uuh... mm-hm!“ Marble still was in depression a bit, but got over it. Once Limestone Pie ate her breakfast, she yelled very loudly „I don't know about you, but I'm moving to the rock farm!! I'll just work there for a bit, then I'll come back!“, Marble clearly ignored her sister, still thinking about Big Mac. Rest of the family heard it, and just replied. Marble was just silently sitting there, playing with the spoon and her mane, she also wonders what he is doing now, sometimes she wishes he'll come back. She really wants to visit him, but.. her shyness stops her from even calling him his name...

But she never gives up, and thinks quietly... Sometimes Marble, sometimes...
