It seemed to be a calm day in Equestria, but little did anyone know, this was the day everything will start to change. New inventions had been introduced lately, now ponies use more advanced objects like a smartphone. But lab ponies have been working on something much bigger, even more advanced technology they use today in the human world. The lab ponies were about to present their ideas to the princesses today.

"SPIKE! ARE YOU USING MY PHONE AGAIN!?" Twilight yelled with anger in her tone.

"Yes....... I'm sorry! But I have to beat sweetie belle's score in flappy princess!" Said spike very worried.

"Ugh, spike you know I have very important things to do on that phone and you just use it to play games. Right now I have to call the girls to come over so we can go to see the princesses, we have a VERY important meeting." Twilight said.

Spike hesitantly gave Twilight her phone, having a very upset look on his face. Spike had become a lot more independent on that phone for entertainment. As Twilight called her friends Spiked watched some cartoons on their flat screen TV.

"Hello everyone! I'm just callling to tell you that we have to be in Canterlot at 3:30 PM." Said Twilight in a very happy tone.

"Okie dokie! I just need need to tell Gummy the instructions for our welcome back cake!" Pinkie pie said in her usual over exited voice.

Twilight set down her phone and got ready for the trip. She said goodbye to Spike and Owlicious before leaving, as she went out the door a gust of wind blew in her face as she walked out. She waited for her friends for a couple of minutes when they finally arrived.

"Are y'all ready as I am?" Apple jack asked in her calm country accent.

"I just hope this meeting is very important, I had something to do this evening but now I have to attend to this event" Rarity said with cold eyes.

"Well at least you get to spend time with us! And who doesn't want to spend time with me?" Rainbow said with way to much pride.

"I know I have fun spending time with Dashie and my friends!" Pinkie said hopping with excitement.

"This meeting won't involve anyone we don't know right?" Fluttershy said so quietly you could barely even hear her.

"No just us and the princesses, oh and some scientists to." Twilight replied.

Fluttershy started shaking in fear, not sure if she wanted to attend, even though she needed to. The girls took Twilight's car since it was the fastest out of all of theirs. They got there in under an hour and started driving to the castle where the guards were replaced with a single police pony who asked if you had an appointment.

"It's me, the princess of friendship" Twilight said nervously, she still felt a little uncomfortable with that title.

"Oh I see your names right here, let me open the gate for you" the police pony replied in a grumpy state.

Twilight drove in to see a beautiful garden and a huge castle that seemed to cast a shadow on it. Twilight parked her car on the side of the entrance to the castle, Twilight and her friends put in the passcode and open the doors. They were hit by a sudden blow of air conditioning and coldness. They walked up to the throne room where they met Princess Luna and Princess Celestia.

"I so glad you guys have made it! We couldn't have done this without your opinion!" Celestia said with sparkles in her eyes.

Just as the main six walked in the scientists burst in through the doors. They set up their whiteboard and bowed to the main six and the princesses.

"We are honored to share our ideas with you, we promise these inventions will help benefit the future of Equestria and you guys will love our ideas and inventions" said George the boss of the scientist.

"So to start with our ideas, we will talk about our Pegasus boosters, these boosters help propel pegasi and make them fly faster, you wear them on your wings and you can also adjust how fast you want then to make you go." One of the scientist said politely.

"What! You'll make the wonder bolts have a run for their money!" Rainbow said defensively

"Calm down Rainbow, I'm sure they just want to help the disabled." Twilight replied.

"Thank you princess, now on with our inventions, this one helps unicorns, it's a metal ring you wear on you horn and helps you levitate, teleport, and other things you would love to do." Another lab pony explained.

Twilight's eyes widened, she realized why Rainbow Dash was so angry before. She tried to hide her feelings, she knew it was just to help benefit other ponies. But then Rainbow realized Twilight's rage.

"Take back you said about their inventions?" Rainbow whispered to her with a smirk on her face.

"No I'm just surprised they figured out how to do that" Twilight obviously lied.

The five scientists went on with their ideas for the future, each one seemed to be helpful but also a bit shady at the same time. After explaining all of their thoughts, they asked what the main six and the princesses thought about their inventions. Knowing that these ideas will definitely help better the ponies of Equestria, they told them that they can start selling these products to stores throughout The kingdom. This made these inventions spread, and soon everyone had these inventions, over the span of 10 years Equestria has become more dependent on technology instead of doing work themselves. Equestria looks like a whole different kingdom now, skyscrapers are a normal sight in Ponyville instead of their comfortable cottages, flying cars are a thing of the past, now everyone can use lasers and levitation, and everyone can also fly like pegasi.
