-Canterlot Celestial Court House-
The Force of Nature stood quietly in his position, his face bright red as a result of having scales for decades on end and then suddenly a thick coat of fur. Lucky yanked at the collar of the royal suit that had been gifted to him by his distant cousin, Godzilla Junior. The stallion's tongue lolled out of his mouth as he shifted uncomfortably at his booth, reluctantly listening as the judge lectured him about his battle.
"Lucky Dragon, please step forward," he heard the judge, Mayor Mare, order. Lucky blinked several times before stepping forth, flanked by a celestial guard. The kirin stallion rolled his eyes at the unicorn's nervous expression. He didn't understand the reason for the guard's angst, but found it irksome all the same.
Another guard stepped forward, holding a hardcover book in one hoof and raising the other. "Do you, Lucky Dragon, swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" the pony asked in a deep, accented voice.
"Uh... Yes?" the former kaiju replied, lifting a quizzical brow.
"Then please step onto the booth," the guard said, beckoning Lucky up to the stand beside the judge. His tone was firm, fearless, and the kirin found him an altogether respectful individual.
The stallion politely smiled at the guard and stepped up to the plate.
In that frame of time, a navy blue unicorn stallion came toward the stand, a stack of paper telekinetically following the equine as he approached. His mane was a creamy white, almost pale yellow, and a pair of similarly colored shoulder patches, did the stallion bear. His horn was one spike with one smaller spike on either side of the larger one. The unicorn's iris was red and the white of his eyes a faint yellow.
Lucky lifted a brow as the equine approached, his gaze shifting to his cousin and friend, Godzilla Junior and Mothra. The two exchanged wide eyed glances before turning back to the kirin. Lucky shrugged his shoulders in confusion.
"Lucky... So good to see you again," the stallion said, freezing the kaiju's muscles like ice. His pupils constricted and lips curled back in a sneer, a puff of blue smoke streaming from his maw.
"Y-you!" Lucky snarled, quaking with building rage.
His alien cousin smirked, leaning against the booth as Mayor Mare opened her mouth to speak. "Now then, I have been made aware of past conflict between the two of you. And if not for Equestria's belief in second chances, the you would not be in the same room... Do I make myself abundantly clear?" she asked, positioning the glasses on the bridge of her nose.
"Yes, your Honor," Xenilla acknowledged.
"Mister Dragon?" she proceeded.
It was several moments before Lucky could bring himself to speak, and even then his voice was low and threatening. "Yes."
"Good... Now then, proceed."
"Thank you, your Honor," the navy blue unicorn smirked, gazing at Lucky. The kirin resisted the urge to leap from his seat and throttle the bastard child of Godzilla Senior. Everypony who knew him well enough could see it in his eyes.
"Will Gojira be okay here?" Doctor Serizawa asked Godzilla Junior, staring starry eyed at the massive stallion.
"So long as my brother doesn't do anything to anger him. Besides, I wouldn't worry about Lucky. It's everybody in the room you should be concerned about," Junior replied, not taking his eyes off of Lucky.
"Agreed," Mothra interjected as Xenilla began to question Lucky.
"So, Lucky... Do you mind if I ask a few questions?" the alien kaiju asked, his mischievous smirk transitioning to something a bit less infuriating.
"Fine," Lucky growled, his muscles jerking every now and again.
"How long would you say you knew these creatures, the MUTOs?" Xenilla asked, his eyes scanning over a sheet of paper.
"All my life," Lucky grumbled reluctantly.
"Mm, okay. And why is it that your hatred towards them has blinded you to the point of fighting the male instead of protecting those in danger with it around?"
"Wait... WHAT?" Lucky scoffed, reeling back as he was blindsided by the question.
"You, by engaging the MUTO instead of being there to protect civilians, were irresponsible and reckless... Why is that?" Xenilla scolded, his smile disappearing.
"O-objection!" a shaky voice called out. Xenilla whipped his head around with a glare to see Fluttershy with her hoof up. His expression softened at the sight of the first being he met, but not enough to halt his rant completely.
"The court acknowledges," the judge addressed.
"He... He was trying to protect me," the Element of Kindness protested nervously, shrinking back as she spoke.
"That does not explain why he hates them so much!" the blue stallion barked in Lucky's face, a glare upon his face.
At this point, Lucky wasn't confused... He was angry. To treat an equine as caring as Fluttershy angered him almost more than the questions his alien cousin hurled at him. "You want to know why I hate them so much?! Huh?!! Because they MURDERED MY FAMILY!!" he finally roared, mane glowing faintly.
"Order! ORDER!!" Mayor Mare shouted with authority, her wooden mallet striking the platform with hollow claps that reverberated off of the court house walls.
"Order?! What order?! There IS no order with this-this BASTARD around!" Lucky snapped, smoke streaming from his jaws as he spoke. Scattered gasps at Lucky's swearing filled the room. The stallion's nostrils flared in his anger, and he threw open the booth gate before storming from the room, the slam of heavy doors of of the walls echoed within the chamber.
"I think that my point has been proven," Xenilla stated, internally chuckling at his wit.
"That you have, Ambassador... And while I don't particularly want to, I feel Mister Dragon can not be allowed to simply roam the streets of Ponyville. But perhaps somepony would look after him while he is under in-house arrest?" Mayor Mare said, looking among the crowd. Only one raised a hoof.
"I will," Fluttershy said, lifting her hoof up again.
"You? Are you sure? He is a kaiju (right, kaiju?) and you are merely-" Mayor Mare was cut off by Fluttershy's stern tone.
"Merely what?! I don't think (no offense Junior) that staying with his cousin is the smartest choice, and I know him best out of any Equestrian in this room!" she retorted. Godzilla Junior smiled. Never had he seen somebody so quick to take a kaiju into their care.
"Very well..."

Lucky Dragon angrily paced back and forth, nostrils flaring and jaws billowing thermonuclear smoke. His mane hummed with building radioactivity, eyes glowing with a bright blue bioluminescence as he held back his radioactive breath. The heavily built kirin swiveled around, unleashing a blast of nuclear energy from his jaws that shredded through the courthouse fountain, breaking through it as if made of paper. Shards of quartz in the surrounding area were shot into the air before raining back down. The immediate area was a molten hole of rocky sludge that smoked and sizzled.
Lucky's jaws hung open, his mane flickering as he gasped for breath. Blue smoke slithered from his maw.
Facing the obliterated fountain, the kirin let himself fall to his haunches, his outburst replaying over and over in his mind. With a heavy sigh, the stallion heard the distant roll of thunder, only adding to his depressed state. Lucky's clawed hooves gouged the earth beneath him, creating a small hole as his thoughts wandered. What the hell have you gotten yourself into, Lucky, he thought to himself, a quiet, sad chuckle leaking from his throat.
His thoughts were interrupted by an unmistakable voice. "Lucky?" Fluttershy's voice queried softly, approaching his right flank with a worrisome expression.
The kirin shifted his gaze down to the pegasus mare. "Hi," he acknowledged as her view locked onto the smoldering crater that was once a courthouse fountain. "I didn't like the style of it," he addressed sarcastically, smiling to himself.
"That, or Xenilla pushed the wrong buttons," Fluttershy said, a soft smile on her face. Her smile slowly dissipated as the stallion let out a heavy sigh. "What is it? Does this have to do with... Your family?" she asked hesitantly, not wanting to upset the kaiju.
Lucky turned his head away from her, his ears falling flat.
"Oh...I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to upset you," Fluttershy said, taking a step back. "I-I need to go... I told them I wouldn't be long." With that, she turned to walk back to the courthouse.
"Wait," Lucky said suddenly, standing up and swiveling around.
Fluttershy stopped.
"It's not you... The things that SpaceSlime said just didn't help. He only made me feel farther from my parents than I thought possible... It really isn't you."

Mayor Mare watched with a mix of curiosity and fear as a glossy black pegasus was dragged into the room by a heavy set of chains and three semi-brave guards. The pegasus was thin and covered in cuts, bruises, and bandaging. The stallion possessed long claws on his front limbs, as apposed to hooves, and his wings were long and featherless, rather like a fighter jet in profile. His eyes were no less confusing, long and red, they crackled with static as the creature struggled.
"Contain him!" Mayor Mare shouted, watching the pegasus fight against the guards with the remaining strength he possessed after his duel with the Force of Nature.
"Yes... RRGH... Your Honor!" one guard replied, yanking on the chain with all his might. The pegasus stallion collapsed to the floor... And ceased to struggle. He only lay there, heaving for breath and stretching his long black wings.
Getting a good look at them, Mayor Mare actually found the wings quite beautiful, unlike the staticky eyes and sharp claws.
One of the guards leaned down to yank the pegasus to his feet.
"Let him rest for a moment!" she ordered, lifting a hoof as the pony outstretched his talons and slowly rose to his claws. It was then that she noticed his beak like jaws. An overall very strange pegasus indeed.
The male MUTO looked up at the judge with a confused expression. As he was accustomed to hatred toward him, this new attitude was an overall unfamiliar one to him, and it puzzled the MUTO mightily. "Why?" the stallion asked in a rough, but relatively high pitched voice (for a stallion).
"Because I need information and throwing you around is no way to receive any," Mayor Mare replied, proudly lifting her chin.
