Chapters Attempted Murder
As Rhyme entered his room he locked the bedroom door and tried on the dress. It wasn't a perfect fit but it was close enough.When the dress was finally on he felt happy, and nearly complete. He felt happier than he has ever been before.
For the following year and a half, Rhyme had worn the dress on his nightly walks. One night as spring was coming to a close. Rhyme decided it was time to tell his parent's. He knew from others like him that some parents didn't approve of them. Some even hurt their children who came out. So as a precaution Rhyme packed his bags, and grabbed his bag of bits. That was his allowance for five years totaling 500 bits, and set them near the window in case he needed to make an escape.
Rhyme feeling very nervous about how this was going to go, took a deep calming breath. Rhyme knew his father Solid didn't like it when Rhyme did anything feminine, so he was scared of his reaction. As Rhyme walked down the hall he poked his head into his younger brother's room. Upon seeing his brother fast asleep he closed the door, and continued to his parent's room. Rhyme, upon reaching his parent's room took a deep breath to calm himself before he knocked. When he was finally calm enough he knocked on the door receiving a “Come in.” from his parents.
Rhyme walked into his parent's room seeing his mother, and father sitting in bed talking. Rhyme walked to his parent's, and says “Mom, Dad we need to talk. It's important it can't wait for tomorrow.”
Emerald recognizing the nervous, and scared tone of Rhyme's voice asks “What is it my dear Rhyme? You sound like you are scared that we will be angry at you.”
Solid looks at his son and says in a stern but loving voice " Your mother is right. What is it that has you so scared?"
Rhyme after taking a deep breath says really fast "I want to be a filly slash mare. I have felt this way forever!"
Emerald not understanding what her son had said looks to Solid, and sees he didn't understand either. Emerald turning to look at her son, and asks "Could you say that again only slower. We didn't understand you."
Rhyme started to get worried. But as he thought of his only friend he calmed down, and says "Mom, Dad for years now I have wanted to be a filly slash mare. I have tried to bury these feelings but have been unable to do so. Have you ever wondered why I have never truly smiled.
I have had to hide who i truly am from you, from the world and most importantly myself. It is killing me too not be myself and even now telling you I am suffering. I can't even look at myself without wanting to kill myself. I'm disgusted with my body it's not who I am."
As Rhyme had finished talking his father grabbed his knife from the bedside table where he kept it for protection and stabbed Rhyme in the ribs.
Rhyme felt the pain from being stabbed, and tried to run for his room to get his bag. But as he reached his room his father was on him punching, kicking him, breaking Rhyme's right wing, and dislocating his front right hoof.
Rhyme kicked his father as hard as he could, sending his father flying against the wall. Feeling the weight vanish, Rhyme ran into his room grabbed his bag and Jumped out the window.
Rhyme didn't know where he was going as he ran towards the Canterlot Cliffs. When Rhyme reached the cliff he heard his father yell "You get back here boy." Rhyme realized that he had only two choices. The first one is to stay here, and get killed by his father. The second one was to jump off the cliff, and try and make it to the town he could see in the distance. After a seconds thought he jumped off the cliff using his good wing to try to glide to the town.
Rhyme only made it about half of the way before his good wing broke. As Rhyme was falling the five feet to the ground he swore to himself that if he survived he would be honest with himself and try to make some friends. Rhyme felt like time had slowed to a crawl as he landed on the the ground standing on his three good hooves. Over the next twelve hours he had walked towards the town he saw only stopping to get a drink from the river. As Rhyme got to the outskirts of the town he passed out in front of the gates to an apple farm from loss of blood.
Applejack was coming home after a long day of selling apples in Ponyville. She had just about reached the gates of the farm when she saw a badly hurt Pegasus passed out and bleeding in front of her. Applejack was so surprised that she yelled " Big Mac hurry i need your help. There is a badly hurt Pegasus out here. By the looks of it it was stabbed."
Big Mac realizing the panic in his sister's voice ran as fast as he could to help. Over the next fifteen minutes they worked together and finally they got the Pegasus stallion in the guest room.
"Big Mac i need you to watch him while i go to the hospital and get a doctor who can help. Please make sure he doesn't die," says Applejack receiving a reassuring nod.
Half an hour later Applejack returns with a doctor at her side. After the doctor bandaged the stab wound, Relocated his front right hoof which made Applejack flinch and put both wings in a cast she signaled for Applejack to come with her. Once Applejack was in the hall the doctor says "Well i have done all i can but he isn't out of the woods yet. His injuries if you hadn't got me so soon would've killed him. I would suggest that you keep an eye on him."
"I will doctor Caring Heart. But i need to know. What are his chances? How bad is the stab wound? I need you to tell me the truth," says Applejack looking worried.
Doctor Caring Heart looked down at her hooves and says " I would say his chances of living are fifty fifty. The stab wound to the chest is the most risky. Mainly because it weakened the muscles in his heart. His wings are badly broken. However even when they heal he may never be able to fly without great pain. I am so sorry."
"He is really in that bad a condition? I wonder who or what could've happened to him," says Applejack as the doctor nods and leaves.
As Applejack returns to the guest room she sees Big Mac come out. Applejack seeing the worried look on her brothers face says "The doctor says she has done all she can. You should go get some rest now. I will watch over him. If he gets worse i will let you know."
Big mac nods as he leaves wondering what had happened.
As Applejack returns to the guest room she heard her guest say so clearly that she thought he was awake " I'm so so sorry Twilight. Please forgive me."
As Soon as she heard that she wrote a letter to Twilight saying " Dear Twilight. I thought you should know that as soon as I got to the gates of mah farm I found a Pegasus colt with a pitch black coat, blue eyes and a yellow mane. It appears he was stabbed in the ribs and both his wings are broken. His hoof was dislocated but Caring Heart relocated it. You should know that he is alright for now. Also he said the name Twilight in his sleep. I don't know if the Twilight he said was you or not but i thought you should know. Your good friend Applejack."
Once the letter was done she sealed it as Applebloom entered the room. When she saw her little sister she says " Hey Applebloom. I need you to deliver this letter to Twilight as soon as possible. It is very important that she gets it."
"Of course sis. It'll be delivered before you can say zap apple jam harvest ten times fast," says Applebloom taking the letter and runs as fast as she can to Twilight's castle. Arriving there ten minutes later.
Twilight was in her room doing what she does best studying when she heard pounding on the front door. Hurrying to see what was wrong Twilight ran to the front doors opening them. As soon as Twilight saw the look on Applebloom's face she knew something was wrong.
"Hey Applebloom. What's wrong? You are out of breath and look exhausted. Also why were you pounding on my door like a mad pony?" inquires Twilight as she helps the filly inside.
"Twilight...urgent...letter...from Applejack," answers Applebloom between breaths. Applebloom hands over the letter to Twilight and sits down to recover from the run to the castle.
Twilight takes the letter from Applebloom in her magic and reads it out loud to herself saying "Dear Twilight. I thought you should know that as soon as I got to the gates of mah farm I found a Pegasus colt with a pitch black coat, blue eyes and a yellow mane. It appears he was stabbed in the ribs and both his wings broken. His hoof was dislocated but Caring Heart relocated it. You should know that he is alright for now. As she finished the letter she collapsed to the floor crying. Twilight was so upset she didn't notice Applebloom and Spike trying to calm her down. Twilight could only say " It can't be him. He is suppose to be in Canterlot. So it can't be him. But the description of the Pegasus sounds just like him."
Finally getting control of herself she says to Applebloom while bending down "Hey Applebloom i need you to take me to Applejack immediately. Climb on."
Applebloom climbs onto Twilight's back as she flies almost as fast as Rainbow Dash on her best day towards Sweet Apple Acres. As soon as Twilight landed she set Applebloom on the ground saying "Applebloom I want you to stay out here. Because if this Pegasus is who I think he is. I am going to be a total wreck and i don't want you to see me like that."
"Okay Twilight. I'll go play with my friends. See you later," says Applebloom running off.
Taking a deep breath Twilight walks into the house and to the guest bedroom. As Twilight approaches the room she sees Applejack standing outside the door waiting for her. Looking at the floor with tears in her eyes Twilight says "Hey Applejack. I-I-I need to see the Pegasus. From your description of him i might know him."
"Alright sugar cube. Just be quite he needs his rest. The doctor said His chances are fifty fifty at the moment and he might never fly again without extreme pain," says Applejack stepping to the side so Twilight could go inside.
Taking a deep breath she steps inside and walks to the bed. When she saw the Pegasus she says " Oh Rhyme. What happened to you. Who could've done this to you my friend." So as not to wake the sleeping Pegasus up she walks out the room and collapses into Applejack's hooves crying as she falls asleep.
An hour and a half later Twilight wakes up in the living room of Applejack's home. As twilight sits up on the couch she sees Applejack staring at her with worry and concern on her face.
As Twilight was about to apologize Applejack said " Twilight who is that Pegasus? Why were you so upset when you saw him. I have never seen you so upset before and to be honest it scared me to my very core."
"Applejack the Pegasus's name is Rhyme Script. He belongs to the ancient and noble family of bards and recorders of history. The family is known as Script. Before I came to Ponyville he was my closest friend. He was and is like a brother to me. We did everything together whether it was having lunch, doing homework, competing or just reading. As to why i was so upset is because seeing him so hurt broke my heart. Applejack imagine if Rhyme was your brother. How would you feel seeing him like that?"answers Twilight as she starts to tear up.
Applejack was about to go comfort Twilight when they heard a cry of pain followed by a scream of " Please stop dad. Please don't kill me."
Twilight recognizing the pain, worry and terrified tone of voice says to Applejack " I'm staying by his side til he wakes up. Don't try to stop me."
"Don't worry i won't stop you. But after you find out what happened to him let me know," says Applejack as Twilight goes upstairs.
Twilight entered the room and sat in the rocking chair and waited for Rhyme to wake up.
Twelve hours later Rhyme awoke with a start. After looking around at the unfamiliar room he got scared and asks "What happened? Where am i? Did-did i die?"
"Well i don't know what happened to you. What i do know is that both your wings are broken, your right forehoof was dislocated but we relocated it and you also have a very bad stab wound in your chest my old friend," says Twilight in a soft and caring voice.
"Tw-Tw-Twilight? Is that you? Where am i?" inquires Rhyme starting to tear up.
"Yes my dear Rhyme it is me. You are at Sweet Apple Acres in Ponyville. You were passed out at the gates of my friends farm and were on the verge of death. Rhyme i need to know what happened to you. I thought you were suppose to be in Canterlot," answers Twilight worried for her oldest and dearest friend.
After a long silence Rhyme says" Okay Twilight . I'll tell you what happened to me. But once I'm done i need you to leave me alone for awhile. I also need your word that you won't tell anypony."
After receiving a nod from Twilight Rhyme says" Twilight i know you have always wondered why i never got along with other fillies and colts. Well the reason i never got along with other fillies and colts was that i was afraid of what they would do to me. I was afraid of the fillies because i always felt like one and i was scared of how they would react. The reason i was scared of the colts was that i was never comfortable around them. The only one i felt comfortable around was you. But one day you left to find the Elements Of Harmony. After that i isolated myself and went on nightly walks. That is until one night while i was on my walk i came across an abandoned pink dress. I took it home put it on and was finally happier than i have ever been. But not completely happy. One night a couple days ago i told my mom and dad I wanted to be a filly and one day a mare. I explained why and my dad stabbed my, broke my right wing and dislocated my right forehoof. I was able to make it to the Canterlot Cliffs before my father caught up to me. Once i got to the cliffs i knew i had only two choices. The first was to stay there and be killed. Where as the second was to jump off the cliff and try to make it to the closest town for help. I chose to jump. I made it about half way before my good wing broke. i fell to the ground landing on my good Hooves getting only a few scratches. So i started to walk towards town stopping only to drink from the river. I nearly made it to the town when i passed out. The rest you know."
Rhyme looked over to Twilight and saw that she was absolutely livid.
"Rhyme i want you to tell me the truth. Do you still want to be a filly and one day mare? Please be honest."asks Twilight looking at Rhyme and finally seeing what he really was at heart.
"I do Twilight. I have always wanted to be a filly and one day a mare. It is who i am. The way i am now disgusts me. I can't even look at myself in the mirror. I have also tried to drown myself on purpose. Just so i can be free of the pain," answers Rhyme starting to cry.
Twilight upon hearing her oldest and best friend crying gives her a wing hug while saying" Rhyme why didn't you tell me sooner. I could've and would've helped you. I love you like a sister. By the way do you have a new name you like?"
"M-M-M-Morning R-R-R-Rose is my t-t-true name," says Rose through heavy tears.
"There there Rose. You are okay. You are safe. There is nothing to fear. If you want you can live here in Ponyville. They are all really kind and accepting.That is if you want to. By the way i need to go. I have something important to do. But know that i will be back," says Twilight as she calmed Rose down.
"Thank you Twilight. I think i will go to Ponyville after my wounds heal. It was wonderful to see you again my friend," says Rose as Twilight leaves.
As Twilight exits the room she sees Applejack with a worried look on her face. As she approaches Applejack she starts to cry.
Applejack holds Twilight and says while rubbing her back "Hush now Sugarcube. It's aright. There there. He will recover you'll see. He's a tough little guy."
"She A.J. not he. You see she has the mind of a mare but the body of a stallion. She's transgender. Her name use to be Rhyme Script. You remember me telling you about the Pegasus i always hung out with before i found you guys, that's her. Also don't tell anypony but when she told her parent's her father stabbed her in the chest, dislocated her hoof and broke one of her wings. If she hadn't jumped off the Canterlot Cliffs she would've been killed. Anyways I'm going to Canterlot to see Princess Celestia and tell her about this," says Twilight getting up to leave.
As Twilight reached the doors she says " Don't let her know i told you about her. I promised her I wouldn't say anything. Also until she says otherwise call her Rhyme. Don't tell her where I'm going. If she knew she would try to stop me."
After receiving a nod from A.J. she leaves to go home.
As soon as Twilight enters her castle she says to Spike who was waiting for her "Spike the Pegasus that was found by Applejack was my oldest friend from Canterlot. His name is Rhyme Script and i need you to go to Sweet Apple Acres. That way you can notify me if his condition gets worse. Mean while i have something i need to do in Canterlot immediately. So can you do that for me Spike?"
"Twilight you are like a mom to me. So of course i will. But are you okay? I mean if it was me and one of my oldest friends were in his condition i wouldn't leave their side," answers Spike looking worried about Twilight.
After chuckling for a minute Twilight says "I know Spike. I wouldn't leave his side if i didn't have to. However this is very important."
Spike gives Twilight a hug before he runs of for Sweet Apple Acres.
Once Spike was gone Twilight ran upstairs to her own privately enchanted vault and grabs her crown. After she grabs her saddle bag along with a couple books she leaves the castle deciding to fly to the train station because it was faster.
Five minutes later Twilight arrives at the train station. she speed walks to the counter and puts on her crown so the sales ticket pony knows it is important and says" Hello there. I need one express ticket to Canterlot to leave at once. I have an emergency that i need to see Princess Celestia about."
The ticket pony looks up with a look of boredom on his face. Once he realizes it was Princess Twilight he says " Of course your highness. Here's your ticket and the train is already to go."
All the way to Canterlot Twilight thought about Rose and How she could've been so dense as not to notice that her friend was always very feminine. She even remembered the hearth's warming day she got her smarty pants doll and the look of longing and fear on Rose's face. Twilight was surprised when all of a sudden the train conductor announces their arrival to Canterlot. Hurrying Twilight grabbed her bag and left the train. Normally it would take Twilight half an hour to arrive at the castle even running full out. But today she made it in ten minutes.
As she arrives at the castle a Pegasus captain comes over and says " Princess Twilight it is an honor to see you. My name is Gleaming Shield. Not to be rude but shouldn't you be in Ponyville? What are you doing in Canterlot?"
"It's nice to meet you Gleaming Shield. Your right normally i would be in Ponyville. However i have an emergency that i must talk to Celestia and Luna about at once,"answers Twilight with a worried look on her face.
Gleaming Shield noticed the look and says " Of course your highness. If you will follow me i will lead you to them at once. Also if there is anything i can do let me know."
As Twilight follows Gleaming she starts to calm down. Finally after ten minutes of walking they arrive at the doors to the throne room which is opened by a guard standing beside them.
As Twilight enters Gleaming announces " Your majesties Princess Twilight Sparkle is here to talk to you."
Celestia Upon hearing Twilight's name says "Twilight it is good to see you. Thank you Gleaming you may go."
After Gleaming gives a bow and leaves Twilight says "Celestia and Luna i have a urgently private matter to discuss with you. It's about my old friend from fillyhood."
Celestia recognizing the urgency says "Everypony you may have the rest of the day off. Have a very enjoyable day."
After everypony leaves Celestia casts a sound proofing spell on the room.
Once the spell was in effect Luna says with concern in her voice "Okay Twilight a sound proofing spell is active so nopony will hear our conversation. So Twilight what is wrong? You never request to speak to us in person. Is something wrong?"
Taking a deep breath Twilight asks " Celestia do you remember Rhyme Script?"
"Of course i Remember Rhyme. He was your only friend before i sent you to Ponyville. I used to see him wandering around town quite often. Actually i haven't seen him in the last three days," says Celestia looking confused.
Luna after taking a deep breath says " I too know of Rhyme. After all he is one of the few ponies who actually enjoy my nights and the calming effect it has on his mind. I always see him at night. However i haven't seen him for the past two nights."
"First off i need your word that you won't tell another soul what I'm about to show you. Okay,?" asks Twilight with pleading eyes.
Celestia and Luna exchange a worried look before saying together "Twilight we do so swear upon our very souls that we won't tell another soul without yours and or Rhymes permission."
"Okay here's what's going on," says Twilight casting a memory projection spell. After the memory of Rhyme's injuries and the story of what happened was finished Twilight looked at Celestia and Luna. Only to see so much anger and fury in their eyes that she got scared.
Celestia trying to calm down her fury asks " Twilight how old is this memory? Is it from years ago or is it recent?"
"The memory i showed you is less than twelve hours old. After Rose told me what happened i immediately came to see you. I don't know what else i can do for her. I needed your advice."
Luna looking concerned for Rhyme says "Twilight all you can do is be there for her. Please return to Ponyville. I shall watch over her dreams to ensure she gets enough rest."
After calming down Celestia says " My sister is right. You should return to Ponyville and keep her safe. I have a feeling her father will try to find her soon. That is if he hasn't already. There's not much that can be done without her to accuse her father. However I can assign a guard to help protect her. Is that acceptable?"
After thinking for a minute Twilight says "Celestia as much as i would like that i don't think it's a good idea. After all she has been through it would be best if me and my friends take care of her for now."
"As you wish you wish. However please take this. It is a healing potion that will heal the wound in her chest and strengthen those muscles back to normal. Also i will personally talk to her father,"says Celestia.
Twilight took the potion in her magic and puts it in her saddle bag. Before leaving she ran over to Celestia and Luna and gave them a hug.
After Twilight left Celestia turned to her sister and said "Do you think you can handle court today. I'm going to see rose's father."
Luna let out a loud laugh and said "Of course sister. Though i do feel sorry for him having angered the Princess of the Sun. Be sure to take Gleaming Shield with you. I'll be fine here."
Celestia gave her sister a nuzzle of affection and left the castle with Gleaming Shield at her side.
Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Acres Rhyme was deep in thought about whether or not to just tell Twilight's closest friends what happened to her and why. In the end Rhyme decided he owed it to them to be honest. So taking a deep breath he called out" Miss could you come in here for a minute." A moment later Applejack came in.
"Hello Rhyme. My name is Applejack. Twilight told me your name. Is there anything i can get you,?"inquires Applejack.
Taking a deep breath Rhyme says "C-C-Could you please bring me all Twilight's closest friends. I have something important to tell them."
Applejack knowing what he wanted to tell them says "Of course. Give me an hour and I'll have them here."
As Applejack turns to leave Rhyme says "Thank you Applejack for everything." As Applejack left Rhyme grabbed his bag and pulls out a book called The Mare in You and starts to read.
Applejack after leaving the house decided to go to Sugarcube Corner to find Pinkie Pie. Ten minutes later Applejack walked into Sugarcube Corner. The moment she was inside she was tackled by a pink blur.
"Hey Applejack. How are you today? Have you heard the rumor? Apparently there is a new pony in town." says the pink pony.
"Hey Pinkie. I'm good and the rumor is true. However the pony has something he wants to say to Twilight's closest friends. That means Fluttershy, Me, You, Rainbow Dash and Rarity. Could you find Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash and have the meet us at Sweet Apple Acres in forty minutes. It is very important,"asks Applejack.
Giggling Pinkie says "Of course i will. I know exactly where they are. We will meet at Sweet Apple Acres later."
After Pinkie jumped into a tree and vanished Applejack started walking to the carousel beautique.
Ten minutes later Applejack entered the store with a bell going off above the door signaling that someone was had just entered the store. As she entered she heard Rarity say "Hello feel free to look around. I'll be out in a second." Applejack not wanting to look around stood to the side waiting.
Rarity comes into the main part of the store and upon seeing Applejack says" Applejack it is so nice to see you. What can i help you with today?"
Applejack after giving Rarity a hug says "Actually Rarity I'm here to see you. Have you heard the rumor about a new pony in town?" After receiving a nod from Rarity Applejack continues "Well the rumor is true. It is an old friend of Twilight's and he has something important to tell all Twilight's closest friends. Which is Us, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. We are meeting at Sweet Apple Acres in half an hour."
"Give me a second to close the store and we can head out." says Rarity as she closes the store and locks it up.
Half an hour later found Rarity and Applejack waiting for Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Applejack and Rarity were talking about how their businesses were doing when they saw the others approaching.
Once they were all gathered Applejack says "Everypony as you have probably heard there is a new pony in town. His name is Rhyme Script and i found him badly hurt outside my farm a couple days ago. He's an old friend of Twilight's from Canterlot and he wants to tell us something important. So when you see him please stay calm."
After everyone agreed to stay calm Applejack leads them to the guest room knocking before entering to be polite.
Rhyme was so into the story he was reading that he jumped at the knock on the door. After taking a deep breath he calls out "Come in." As the door opened in walked Applejack and four other mares.
As they entered Rhyme was worried about how they would react. Once they were gathered around the bed Rhyme took a deep breath and says "Hello there and thank you for coming. My name is Rhyme Script. I'm thirteen years old and still don't have my cutie mark. I asked Applejack to bring you here because I needed to tell her closest friends something. You see i used to belong to the noble Script family of Canterlot. I was accepted into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorn's when i was five so i could better my writing of stories and histories of Celestia and Luna. F or the first few days of school i didn't get along with other fillies and colts. Mainly because i was afraid of how the fillies would treat me. As for the colts i didn't have anything in common with them. But then on the fifth day at school Twilight asked me if i wanted to be her friend. I accepted her friendship and for the next five years we did everything together. But ever since i was a foal i wanted to be a filly and one day mare. When i was with Twilight i could ignore those feelings. Then one day three years ago Twilight was sent to find the Elements of Harmony. The day she left was the day i was going to tell her my heart's desire. Unfortunately she left before i could tell her. So once more i was alone. However my feelings only got stronger. Until one day about a year after she left i was on a nightly walk when i came across a pink dress. I took it home and put it on."
Rhyme had to stop and take a deep breath to ready himself for the next part of his story. Once he was calm again he continues his story "Once i had the dress on i felt more confident and happy. Like this was the real me. Until three nights ago i told my parent's while my younger brother was asleep. My mother didn't say or do anything i the she was just stunned. My father on the other hoof stabbed me in the ribs, dislocated my right forehoof and broke one of my wings. I escaped to the Canterlot Cliffs when my father caught up to me i knew i had only two choices. The first just stand there and let him kill me. The second was to jump and try to make it to the closest town. I chose the second one. I only made it half way before my other wing broke. Luckily i was close to the ground so i didn't get to hurt. Anyways i walked the rest of the way here before i passed out in front of the gates of the farm here. I know you are friends of Twilight's but if you don't want anything more to do with me because i want to be a mare i understand."
As Rhyme finish's telling them what happened to him he starts to cry. Rhyme was so upset that he didn't notice when a yellow Pegasus mare with a pink mane came over and gave him a wing hug. After ten minutes of hard crying Rhyme started to calm down.
As he calmed down he noticed that everypony was looking at him with concern on their faces. Fluttershy was the first to speak breaking the hug "Hello Rhyme my name is Fluttershy. The Rainbow maned one is Rainbow Dash and the whit unicorn with the purple mane is Rarity. Even though i can't speak for them i can say that you didn't do anything wrong. Rainbow Dash was the next to speak saying "Fluttershy is right. You didn't do anything wrong and if there's anything i can do you let me know. Also if i ever get my hooves on your so called father he will regret it."
Applejack just nodded in agreement as Rarity spoke up saying" Rhyme darling once your healed swing by the Carousel Beautique. i will make you a couple lovely dresses. Also i will help you in anyway i can. After all everypony deserves to be happy"
"Thank you everypony. By the way my true name is Morning Rose. It's a pleasure to meet you." says Rose as her voice gets higher and more feminine.
"Your very welcome Rose. Welcome to the group and to ponyville," says Applejack.
"Once your all healed Rose I'll throw you a Welcome to Ponyville party," says Pinkie Pie bouncing in place.
"Thank you all so much. Just so you know Pinkie I'm very shy. So please wait on the party. After all it took all my courage just to tell you all what happened. Though i would like it if we could be friends," says Rose looking scared.
"You listen to me Rose as far as I'm concerned you are already our friend and always will be," says Rainbow Dash giving Rose a hug.
"I'm starting to get tired. So I'll see you all later right,?" asks Rose starting to doze out.
"Of course Rose. We will see you later tonight or tomorrow." says everypony as they file out.
Once everypony was downstairs Rarity was the first to speak saying " I can't believe what she has been through. I mean if it was me i probably would've died from the pain. Oh how i do wonder what kept her going. I mean you all saw how her soul was breaking right?"
Fluttershy was the first to answer " I know what you mean Rarity. I could tell that while she was talking about being a colt she had a look of disgust and hatred for herself. I would also be willing to bet that she can't look herself in the mirror without wanting to smash the mirror into dust."
Rainbow Dash angrily says "I can't believe her father would do that. If i ever get my hands on him he will regret being born. How could anypony hurt their own child like that?"
Applejack looking determined says " Rarity I have a feeling i know what her cutie mark is going to be."
Rarity being surprised that Applejack has an idea for what Rose's cutie mark will be asks " What is it going to be A.J. and how do you know?"
Apple jack looks at Rarity and answers "I don't know for a hundred percent. However i think you should have her model a few dresses. As she gets into it I'm sure her cutie mark will appear. Mainly because when she talked about wearing the dress she found and how she felt nearly complete. I have a feeling she is going to get a modeling cutie mark."
Rarity after thinking for a few minutes says " You know. I think your right Applejack. That would also explain why she hasn't already got her mark."
Fluttershy says to everypony "Okay I'm going to go home. I have somethings i need to take care of. Bye everypony."
After Fluttershy left the others followed suit. Over the next hour Applejack was doing a lot of cooking and house hold chores when she heard screaming coming from the guest room.
Applejack upon hearing the scream runs upstairs to see what's wrong. As Applejack enters the room the first thing she notices is that Rose is having a nightmare. Applejack walks over to the bed and rubs Rose's back to calm her down. After rubbing her back for fifteen minutes Rose calms down. The poor mare must be scared to death if she's having such a bad nightmare. Thinks Applejack as she leaves the room.
About two hours after dinner in the apple house Applejack hears a soft knock on the door. Wondering who it is Applejack goes to answer it. Applejack opened the door to find Twilight standing there with an excited but worried look on her face.
Applejack was about to say hi when Twilight asks "Hey Applejack. How is Rhyme doing? I have been so worried about him."
Chuckling Applejack says "Twilight, Rhyme told me and the others what happened to her and why. Also as far as me and the others are concerned her name is Rose. After all everypony deserves to be themselves. Did you know she doesn't have her cutie mark?"
Twilight was surprised that Rose had told her closest friends what happened to her. After recovering from the shock Twilight asks " She doesn't have her cutie mark. I thought she would've had it by now. By the way could you give her this healing potion. It will completely heal her stab wound. It can't heal her wings. However she should be able to move around."
Applejack takes the potion from Twilight and says " I'll give it to her in the morning. As for her cutie mark i think it is going to be a filly and mare modeling cutie mark."
"Why do you think the Applejack?" inquires Twilight curiously
"Well i honestly don't know. All i know is she told us when she tried on the dress she found she was almost complete," explains Applejack with a smile.
Twilight thinks in silence about what Applejack had just told her for a minute before saying " You know what. I think your right. Since she is more complete as a filly and one day mare then what your saying makes sense."
Applejack hides a yawn and says "Well it's getting late Twilight. I'll see you in the morning."
"Your right Applejack it is late. I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good night," says Twilight leaving Sweet Apple Acres.
Applejack gets dressed for bed, puts the bottle on the dresser and goes to bed. Applejack woke up bright and early the next morning before the sun was rose. The first thing she did was check on Rose to make sure she was okay. As she peeked into the room she saw Rose sitting up crying. Recognizing the look of pain she walks into the room to cheer up the filly. As Applejack approaches the bed she says while she hoofs over the potion " Morning Rose. Twilight stopped by last night while you were sleeping to drop this off. She said it was a healing potion that will heal your stab wound."
"Twilight got this for me? I-I-I thought she didn't like me anymore. Because she didn't stay in touch with me when she was sent to find the Elements of Harmony," says Rose as she takes the potion and drinks it.
Applejack gets a huge grin as she sees his stab wound heal itself. A second later she remembered that Rose had asked her a question so she says " Yes Rose she got it directly from Princess Celestia. Just so you know i have never seen Twilight as happy as she is when she is with you. But enough of that you need to get ready for the day. The shower is down the hall on the right."
Rose after giving Applejack a hug grabs her bag and heads to the bath room. An hour later Rose emerges from the shower with the pink dress she found on her. A couple minutes later she walks into the dining room to see all the apple family waiting for her.
When the Apple family saw her they all said "You look marvelous in that dress Rose."
Upon hearing the compliment Rose says "Thank you ever so much for taking care of me when i was hurt. But i need to go to town and find my own place to call home. I don't feel comfortable staying at a friends house for more than a couple nights."
"As you wish Rose. But just be sure to be at the Carousel Beautique at noon. Twilight and Rarity have a gift for you. The store is just down the street from the building that looks like a giant cupcake," says Applejack with a smile a mile wide on her face.
Rose upon seeing the smile on Applejack's face says " Well based on the look on your face i don't know whether to be scared or excited. Either way don't worry I'll be there. I hope you have a wonderful day and if you need anything please let me know. I owe you my life for saving me."
Rose gives a small curtsy to the family and heads into town. As Rose was approaching the town about ten minutes later she heard a familiar voice say "Hey Rose I'm glad to see your doing better. By the way you look great in that dress."
Rose looked to her right and saw Rainbow Dash looking at her with a smile. Giggling Rose says "Hey Rainbow. Yeah I'm feeling much better thanks to Twilight and Applejack. But right now I'm looking for a home of my own. Preferably close to town yet still outside of it. You wouldn't know of such a place would you?"
Rainbow thinks for a minute then her eyes go wide as she remembers a nice two story house with two bedrooms, a big bathroom and shower, fully equipped kitchen and living room with a nice looking dining room. Rainbow turns to Rose and says "Actually Rose i know the perfect place. It just came on the market yesterday. Follow me and I'll lead you to the property management office."
"Thank you Rainbow Dash. Thank you so so much. You have no idea how much this means to me. I started saving my bits when i was five. Just in case when i told my parent's i wanted to be a filly and one day mare and they disowned me. I knew it was a possibility. By now i have around five hundred bits," says Rose as they start off towards town.
Rose and Rainbow talk about minor things along the way. As they approached and entered the Ponyville Property Management a unicorn mare with a house as her cutie mark looks up and says "Rainbow Dash How nice to see you again and who is this charming young mare?"
Rainbow Dash smiling says " Hey Perfect Home this is a friend of mine who just moved here. I thought about the house she told me she would like and well the house she described is a lot like the Solid Pine house that was put up for sale yesterday."
Perfect Homes eyes alight as she says "Hello my dear . My name is Perfect Home and the cost of the house is twenty bits for ten months or two hundred all together."
As Morning Rose took out the two hundred bits she says "It is nice to meet you Perfect Home. My name is Morning Rose. Here is the payment in full."
Perfect takes the bits and after Rose signs the paperwork hands rose the keys to her new home and says "Welcome to Ponyville Rose. Rainbow Dash will take you to your new house. Enjoy your new home."
Rose takes the keys puts them in her saddlebag and says "Thank you Perfect. I hope you have a wonderful day. I have to get going. Rarity and Twilight have a gift for me at noon which is fifteen minutes away."
"Well in that case take care. I'll see you later I'm sure," says Perfect as Rose and Rainbow Dash hurry to Rarity's store. Ten minutes later found Rainbow Dash and Rose standing in front of the store.
Rose takes a deep breath and walks into the store with a smile on her face while Rainbow follows after. The moment she stepped into the store a bell above the door went off signaling that there was customers. With Rainbow at her side rose saw Rarity and Twilight standing by a runway with smiles on their faces.
Twilight upon seeing Rose enter the walks over to her and says while giving her a hug "Rose I'm glad to see you. Just so you know my gift to you is ten every day dresses and a dress for the Grand Galloping Gala all created by Rarity."
"Really Twilight?" inquires Rose with a i can't believe this is really happening look.
Rarity upon seeing the look on Rose's face says " Yes deary. we already talked about it and we agreed that a lovely filly such as yourself deserves some very nice dresses. I'll just need to take your measurements and I'll have the perfect dress made for you."
"Okay Rarity do your thing,"says Rose standing still as a statue.
An hour after Rarity took Rose's measurements one of the dresses were done. The dress was a pink silk with a red trim and baby blue sapphires embroidered on the sides forming a rose.
As Rarity enters the waiting room of her store she says "Okay Rose I'm done."
Rose upon seeing the dress says "Thank you so much Rarity ." Rose took the dress to the changing room and puts it on.
Rose then walks out to see both Twilight and Rarity standing there with their muzzles open. Twilight being the first to snap out of the shock followed closely by Rarity says " Rose why don't you take a walk down the runway and do some modeling of the dress."
Rose nervously says as she walks to the runway of the store "Okay I'll give it a chance."
Once rose gets on the runway she starts to relax and be herself. She walked a few feet then posed. Each time she got better and better until when she posed half way down the runway there was a bright flash of rainbow colored magic coming from Roses body. As soon as the flash happened Rose passed out.
The first thing Rose noticed when she started to come to was that she felt at peace with herself. As she slowly opened her eyes she could hear a steady beeping sound. Rose knew she was in the hospital but she didn't know why. Rose turned her head to the right and saw all her friends sitting there with worried looks on their faces.
Twilight being the first to notice that Rose was looking at them says "Hey Rose your awake. We were so worried about you. By the way i don't know how it happened but when the magic was released when you got your cutie mark your wings disappeared and in it's place you got a unicorn horn. Also your eyes have changed colors from sky blue to a light pink. Your coat is now blue instead of black. There is one more thing but i think the doctor should tell you."
Rose upon hearing Twilight's words says " So I'm no longer a Pegasus. I'm now a unicorn. Wait i got my cutie mark? What is it? The last thing i remember is posing halfway down the runway."
Rarity was the one who spoke saying "Well Rose after the burst of magic that came from you when you got your cutie mark the first thing we saw was that you had passed out. After we made sure you were okay we noticed that your wings changed to a horn along with your coat changing colors. We immediately brought you here while Rainbow told the others. As the doctor examined you we noticed your eyes had changed colors. As for your cutie mark it is a Rose inside the symbol of filly and mares surrounded by a silk ribbon. Congratulations."

Pinkie's eyes go super wide as she says "Of course i can Rose. It is going to be the best party ever and will be so awesome."
Rose then turns to Twilight and says " Twilight could you have Spike send a letter to Princess Celestia asking her to have a guard meet us at the train station in Canterlot. It is time i stand up to my so called father. I am also not willing to lose my mother and brother over this, though i still might. Also since my parent's won't believe I'm their child without somepony to back me up so will you come with me?"
Twilight smiling calls out to Spike who was outside the room and says "Spike i know you heard Rose's request, so will you send that letter to Celestia like Rose asked. As for if i will come with you Rose of course i will."
Spike having sent the message the moment Rose had asked says "It's already done Twi."
All of a sudden a note appeared out of green flames. Rose seeing it addressed to her takes the note and reads out loud " Rose of course you may borrow a guard. However I will also be joining you. Mainly to reassure them that it is the truth and to keep you safe. Sincerely yours the Sun Princess Celestia. P.S. We will be there in two hours."
Rose upon finishing the note immediately checked out of the hospital with Twilight at her side. Two hours pass and the train pulls into the Canterlot train station.
As Rose and Twilight file out of the train they see Celestia and a guard Twilight recognizes as Gleaming Shield standing to the side waiting for them.
Celestia upon seeing the two mares says " Twilight, Rose it is so good to see you again. Though i do wish it was under better circumstances."
Rose, Twilight, Celestia and Gleaming start to walk to Rose's parent's house. Rose says while they walk "Thank you so much for this Princess Celestia and thank you as well Gleaming. Though i have suffered i wouldn't change a thing."
As the group of friends approach the house Celestia says " Your very welcome my dear Rose."
Rose upon reaching the door starts to have a panic attack. That is until Twilight gave her a hug. As she calmed down she raised her hoof and knocked three times.
Rose waited for somepony to answer while she tried to hide behind Celestia and failed. A couple minutes later the door was opened by Rose's mom who looked like she was crying. rose upon seeing her mother hurting started to tear up but held them back.
When Emerald opened the door she said in a sad tone of voice "Hello. how can i help you?" But when she noticed that there was a royal guard, two princesses and a mare she didn't recognize she immediately bowed and said " Princess Twilight, Princess Celestia Wh-What are you doing here of all places. no offense."
Celestia just chuckles as Twilight says "Well Emerald we are here to discuss something important with you, your husband and Slant. It is about your oldest son and my oldest friend Rhyme. So can we come in?"
Emerald worriedly says " Of course. My husband and my youngest were just finishing their dinner. Follow me." As Emerald leads them down the hall and into the dining room she says "Solid and Slant we have four special guests. It's two of the princesses, a royal guard and an unknown mare."
As Celestia, Twilight, Gleaming and Rose enter the dining room they see Solid and Slant looking worried.
Celestia being the least nervous says " Solid we are here to talk about what you did to Rhyme Script. Thanks to you he almost died. If not for Twilight and her friends he would be. However if you hadn't chased him to a certain town he wouldn't be the lovely mare she is now. You see this mare here is or should i say was Rhyme. But when she got her cutie mark there was a burst of magic that can't be explained for sure. It changed her body to match her soul and destiny."
As soon as Celestia finished talking Rose stepped forward and says " Hello mom, dad and little brother. I've missed you."
Slant looking confused says " Why did you run away brother? What is this about dad almost killing you?"
Rose sadly looks at her brother and says " I guess they never told you the truth. I however will tell you what happened. First i didn't run away. I was chased away by our so called father. You see the night i assume they say i ran away well that night while you were asleep I went and told our parent's that for as long as i can remember i have always wanted to be a filly. You see growing up with Twilight as my only friend it held off the feelings. However they were still there. So i took to taking walks at night. One night while i was out on my walk i came across a dress. I took it home and put it on. While wearing it i felt nearly complete. After i told our parent's dad grabbed a knife and stabbed me in the chest, dislocated my right forehoof and broke one of my wings. I escaped to the Canterlot cliffs and jumped. I was found by one of Twilight's friends. She took me to her house and bandaged my stab wound. After that she had her brother keep an eye on me while she went to get the doctor. After i told Twilight what happened she went to Celestia and got a healing potion for my stab wound. After i took the potion i said goodbye to Twilight's friends and got a place of my own. Once i had a home I went to see Twilight and her other friend who made me this dress. While i was modeling the dress i was happy and complete. Like this was what i was meant to do. When i realized that all of a sudden was a flash of rainbow colored magic from my body and i passed out. When i awoke in the hospital i was told what happened by Twilight and her friends. Except for the part where i was now a filly biologically. So now you know the whole story."
Rose having looked away while she told her brother what happened turns and looks at her brother to see to her surprise a look of knowing on her brothers face. As rose was about to ask slant about what he knew she was stopped by a raised hoof.
Slant having heard what his sister had gone through says "Rhyme. No Rose my sister. I have always known you wanted to be and always were a filly and sister to me. You see one day when you were very sick you said you wanted to be a filly in your sleep. But even before that you always looked happier when you were doing girly stuff like playing dress up or playing with dolls. When you saw that dress on your nightly walks it wasn't abandoned. I had ordered it for you. Whenever i saw you sneak out of the house in it you had a look of complete and utter peace on your face."
"Slant you got me that dress that i loved? You always knew what i was. Why didn't you ever talk to me about it,?"inquires Rose starting to break down into tears.
Slant looking guilty and feeling bad sadly says " Yes sis i did get you that dress. I didn't say anything because i didn't want to risk your friendship. You mean everything to me. After all you are my older sister. I knew you were suffering from Twilight leaving you alone. When i saw the look of pure pain on your face i knew i had to do something. Especially after you tried to drown yourself. I knew i had to do something or i would lose my sister. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself knowing i could've done something to help. Since i knew your approximate measurements i went to a dress store and found the dress i was looking for. Later that night i left it along your path and watched as you took it home. Once you were home and you put it on i saw only happiness and confidence on your face."
Rose having calmed down during her brother's story says " Thank you my little brother. I am so grateful to have you as a sibling."
Rose then turning to glare at her mother asks " Mother i need to know. Why didn't you stop my so called father from trying to kill me. You do realize that i had to jump off a bucking cliff with a broken wing don't you? You just sat there on your bed doing nothing."
Emerald up to this point had stayed silent and she would've stayed silent except she knew she had to answer her daughter. So taking a deep breath she says " Rose the truth is i was just so surprised and happy in a good way. You see i always wanted a daughter. However i ended up with two lovely sons or so i thought. When you told me and your father you wanted to be a filly and one day a mare i thought finally i have a daughter. I am sorry for not protecting you and i hope one day you can forgive me."
Rose smiling goes over to her mother and says " I forgive you mommy. I guess it was unexpected and i don't want to lose you. Though i can't live in Canterlot because of the memories i will stay in contact with"
As Rose was talking to her mother her father lunged at her cutting her off. However Gleaming being as fast as she is had stopped him with a hoof to his stomach.
Celestia and Twilight having witnessed his barbaric act says " Mister Solid Script you have a choice. You can either accept your daughter as the wonderful filly she is or be sentenced to tartarus for the rest of your life for attempted murder. What will it be?"
Solid looking like a demon says " I shall never accept him. He is a freak and monster. If i knew what he would become i would've killed him when he was a foal. He is a abomination that should be destroyed."
Rose upon hearing her fathers words leaves the room on the verge of tears. Once she was in the hallway she broke down and cried her heart out. She couldn't believe her father hated her that much.
When Emerald saw Rose leaving on the verge of tears she lost control of her anger and yelled like a demon possessed " Solid you are an evil piece of shit and as of this moment you are no longer my husband. You have hurt our daughter. I can forgive your anger and even your alcoholism. But to say what you did to our daughter can never be forgiven. Rose is a pure and kind soul. She helps others and is loyal to her friend and family. She is like freshly fallen snow. You however is are completely evil. You are no longer part of this family and if you ever come near us again i will kill you."
Celestia and Twilight were shocked at how terrifying Emerald could be. However Celestia being the first to recover says " Solid Script you are hereby sentenced to life in tartarus. However once a year Luna, Twilight, Cadence and myself will interview you under a truth spell and should you truly come to regret what you did to your daughter and have changed for the better we will release you. Should you try to escape we will know and i will sentence you to death. It is a sad day when a parent can't see the lovely children they have. Especially a pony like Rose who has suffered and tried to end her own life. It is only because of Twilight that she didn't descend into depression from which there is no return."
Celestia turns to look at Emerald and Slant and asks " Before i banish him to tartarus is there anything you would like to say?"
Emerald just shook her head. Slant however steeped forward and said "Actually yes i do have something to say to him." Slant turning to his father says with malice and hatred that surpassed his mother's " If you ever so much as look at my sister or think about hurting her i will personally make you wish you were dead. She is my sister and she means more to me than anything. Because my beliefs are that family stick together. Unless of course a family member tried to kill their own family. Because then they are no longer family and should be put to death. Rose is my sister and even though she is older than me i am very protective of her. I will die to save her. That is all Solid. Goodbye forever."
Celestia turns back to Solid and opens a portal to tartarus. Once the portal was open she says" Push him in Gleaming Shield."
Upon hearing the order Gleaming pushes Solid into the portal. Once that was done Celestia had a huge grin on her face.
As Rose returned to her family and friends she thought out loud "Even though my father didn't accept me the rest of my family did and that is enough. I'm surprised my younger brother knew."
Rose enters the dining room and sees that her father is missing. Fearing that he might be behind her she turns around seeing nopony there. As Rose turns to her mother she asks in a panicky and terrified voice "Wh-wh-where is m-my father?"
Twilight recognizing the terrified tone of voice goes over to Rose and gives her a hug saying " Your so called father and i use father loosely has been sent to tartarus. He will never be able to hurt you again."
Rose relaxing from both the information and the hug asks " Is that true? Is he really gone?"
Emerald being the fastest to answer says with happiness " It is true. Also he is no longer your father. After what he said to you i told him we were no longer married. Among other things."
Slant excitedly says "Oh yeah. You should've seen her sis. She was absolutely amazing."
"Well since he's gone i can tell you were i am living. I am living in Ponyville. I bought a nice house for two hundred bits. Also before anypony asks where i got the money it was part of my allowance that i saved growing up," explains Rose with a smile on her face.
Emerald happily says "I'm glad you have found a home. Just know that you will always be my baby girl. I love you Rose. I hope you have a happy life," as Emerald finished talking she turns to Twilight with concern on her face.
Twilight seeing the concern on Emeralds face says to the room "Everypony i need to have a private word with Emerald alone."
Everypony left the room except for Twilight and Emerald. Once they were alone Twilight cast a sound proofing spell on the room. As the spell took effect Twilight says "Now that nopony can over hear us please tell me what has you so concerned ."
Emerald after taking a deep breath to calm herself says " When Rose was chased away by Solid i went into her room and found her diary because i needed to know how long she wanted to be a filly. What i found out surprised me. I know this isn't my place to say but i found out she is in love with you. I also know why you didn't stay in contact with her and that is because you were and still are in love with her. She has a good thirty pages filled with her dream wedding to you. The thing that concerns me is that i need to know how you truly feel about her. What are your feelings for my precious Rose?"
Twilight nervously stammers "I l-l-love her. I always h-have. She is like the air i breath or the water i drink. It's like i am the sun. I can't do anything without my goddess to raise me up. When i left to find the Elements of Harmony and cut my ties with her was the hardest and worst decision that i have ever made in my life. I only realized that when i saw her at Sweet Apple Acres. But with my position as a princess how can i know if someone loves me for me. You see i can't know for sure. So the night I became an alicorn princess i cast a spell to seal away my feelings until i saw my true love. The day Rose told me what happened was the day the seal broke. I was on my way to see Celestia and Luna for when i realized i loved him with all my heart. The moment i realized this the seal broke. However i still couldn't tell Rose because i was afraid he wouldn't feel the same way. But now thanks to you i think this might just work."
Emerald sat in silence the whole time Twilight spoke. Once Twilight was finished with her story Emerald says " I have a suggestion for you. When you get back to ponyville look for the meadow behind your castle with nopony around and focus all your love and magic for my sweet little Rose and say Latua Enchancia Truelove Immortalia. That spell is a spell from olden times that can only be cast by an alicorn. It will then tie your immortality to your true love and make her immortal with you. Be warned though that this spell is a double edge sword for if the one you thought of isn't your true love you will die a painful death. However there is no need to fear for i know that Rose is your true love. So i would save it for an emergency."
Twilight relaxing says "Thank you Emerald. I have decided to tell her how i truly feel about her once we get back. Also thank you for having such a wonderful daughter." As Twilight finished talking she lit her horn and ended the sound proofing spell.
"You are very welcome Twilight. Don't be a stranger now. After all one day you will be my daughter in law," says Emerald as she shows Twilight the way out.
As Celestia, Gleaming, Twilight and Rose were waiting for the train to arrive Celestia, Gleaming and Rose were deep in conversation. While Twilight thought about how she was going to tell Rose her true feelings.
Twilight was so deep in thought she didn't notice the train had arrived. It was only when Rose pinched her cheek that she noticed. Twilight noticing that Rose was asking her a question shook her head and says " Sorry i was lost in thought. What were you saying Rose."
Rose looking confused says "I asked what has you so deep in thought you didn't notice the train arrive."
"I'll tell you when we get back to Ponyville. It is a bit embarrassing in a good way. Anyways we should get on the train. Bye Celestia, bye Gleaming hope to see you soon,"says Twilight walking on to the train with Rose close behind.
About half way down the mountain on which Canterlot was built Twilight saw a dragon the size of a large town swoop down on the train attacking it. The train tumbled down the rest of the mountain getting all banged up and crushed on the way down. As the train came to rest at the bottom of the mountain Twilight a little banged up with a piece of metal stuck in her right hoof asks " Rose are you all right?" When Twilight didn't get an answer she looked over to Rose and saw that rose was unconscious and bleeding from her head.
Twilight upon seeing Rose's head bleeding very badly focuses her magic on her and Rose and casts a teleportation spell teleporting them to Ponyville General Hospital.
As soon as Twilight and Rose appear in the hospital waiting room Twilight yells "Somepony, anypony please help. My friend is bleeding very badly from her head and it won't stop."
A couple seconds later three doctors and two nurses came running into the waiting room. As they approached Rose a nurse and doctor to lift her onto a stretcher.
A doctor Twilight recognizes as Caring Heart says to the other two doctors and nurses and says "Take her to emergency room six. I'll be therein a few minutes. I need to ask Princess Twilight some questions before we begin."
As the other doctors and nurses took Rose away Caring Heart turned to Twilight and asks "Princess Twilight i need to know if Rose is allergic to any meds or antibiotics? Do you know what her blood type is? Does she have any insurance?"
Twilight taking her eyes off the door through which Rose was taken says " No she isn't allergic to any meds or antibiotics. As for her blood type she is AB positive the same as me and as far as i know she doesn't have any insurance but i will pay anything just save her."
As Twilight finished talking she passed out from the stress of the pass few days and from the pain in her right hoof that had a piece of metal in it.
Doctor Caring Heart took out the piece of metal and stitched up the wound in all of sixty seconds. As she finished she had a nurse take Twilight to the recovery room. Once Caring Heart was done with Twilight she went to help Rose in the emergency room.
Over the next four hours Caring Heart and the others did all they could to save Rose. In the end she was still in critical condition. So Caring went to the recovery room where Twilight and her friends were. As Caring entered she said " Well we have done all we can. She is still in critical condition and if i were to estimate her chances. They would be a thirty percent chance she makes it and a seventy percent chance she dies. I'm sorry ."the doctor then leaves the group of friends alone.
Twilight up on hearing the chances broke down crying. She felt as though her true other half had died. Twilight thought about telling her friends how she felt about rose. She made a pros and cons list in her mind. After finding the pros list acceptable and the cons not acceptable she takes a deep breath and says "Everypony i have something important to tell you. The first is that I'm a fillyfooler. The second is I'm in love with a very old friend. Finally the pony I'm in love with is Rose. I have been in love with her since i first saw her at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Even back then i knew i preferred fillies and she was a colt. That is why when i was sent to find the Elements of Harmony i never contacted her or even wrote her a letter. But what i didn't know was that she was in love with me too. I found out during our visit with her family. Her mother told Emerald and i had a private conversation. She also told me of a spell that would tie my immortality to her so neither of us would die or we both would die."
It was then as Twilight said neither her or Rose would die or they both would that she remembered Rose's mother telling her to save the spell for an emergency. Twilight snapping out of her thoughts says " Everypony listen up. I might be able to save Rose. You see Rose's mother told me to save the spell for an emergency. The only reason i can think of that it should be saved is because it will heal all Rose's wounds and mine. However the spell after i cast it will test my love for rose and scan all my memories of her i believe. If i pass the test because my love is true Rose and i should be fully healed. On the other hoof if i fail i will die."
Twilight turned to Spike and says "Spike i want you to write a letter to Celestia telling her everything that happened including the dragon. While Rainbow Dash and i go to the spot where i need to cast the spell."
As Spike left the room Twilight turned to the others and says to Rainbow Dash " Rainbow i need you to help me get to the empty meadow behind my castle. As for the rest of you. You need to get some well deserved rest and relaxation. So are you ready Rainbow Dash?"
Rainbow looks at Twilight with shock and says "Sure i am. I'm just surprised that you like mares."
Rainbow Dash then helped Twilight out of the hospital and after half an hour of walking, mainly because they didn't want to risk flying they arrived at the meadow.
Upon reaching the middle of the meadow Twilight turns to Rainbow Dash and says with confidence and sincerity " Thank you Rainbow for helping me get here. However for this spell to be cast i need to be alone. I'm so sorry if I'm making you worried, But it won't work if I'm not alone. Do you understand?"
"Of course Twi. Just know that i don't like leaving you alone like this. I will though because i also care about Rose. I feel like she is a sister to me. Just be careful,"says Rainbow taking off.
Once Rainbow Dash was out of sight Twilight focused all her magic and love for rose into her horn and says " Latua Enchancia Truelove Immortalia." As she finished the spell there was an insanely strong and powerful burst of rainbow magic from her body.
Twilight felt an intense pain she has never felt before as all her memories of rose and her feelings for her were scanned. After five minutes of the pain it ended and she felt exhausted. As Twilight opened her eyes she saw that she was no longer in the meadow and in front of her stood an alicorn mare she has never seen before.
The unknown alicorn had a pink coat, rainbow colored mane, eyes as bright as the morning sunrise and a sky blue tail. The alicorn looks at Twilight and says "My dear my name is Immortalia. There is no need to introduce yourself. I know who you are Twilight Sparkle for i exist outside of time for i am the guardian of Immortality. Please tell me what can i do for the Princess of Friendship and bearer of the Element of Magic."
Twilight was surprised that the alicorn knew who she was. However Twilight got over it quickly and says in a Confident but worried tone " Immortalia your highness. I am here to request that you tie my immortality to the mare i love. She is currently in Ponyville General Hospital with only a thirty percent chance of living. I beg you please save her. Her name is Morning Rose and it is because of her that i am who i am today. I feel as though half my soul is dying." As Twilight finishes talking she breaks down crying.
Immortalia walks over to Twilight and gives her a hug while rubbing her back. After ten minutes of calming Twilight down she says " I can save Rose but first you must pass five trials. A trial of skill, a trial of strength, a trial of heart, a trial of courage and a trial of sacrifice. Once you pass i can make her immortal and tie it to you. However should you fail even one trial then you will die and your soul will be destroyed. Are you willing to take the trials to save the mare you love?"
Twilight looking determined looks at Immortalia and says in a voice of pure determination and confidence "If i can save the mare i love than i do. She is my light when all i see is darkness. I want to marry her and live happily together forever. With out Rose my life has no meaning. So do your worst Immortalia."
Immortalia looks Twilight in the eyes and says " Your first trial is the trial of courage. If you follow the trail to my right you will come across a river with a bridge. To pass the trial all you must do is cross the river with out magic."
Twilight with out hesitation gallops down the trail. After five minutes of hard galloping she come to the river and bridge. As Twilight approaches the bridge a sign appears out of no where.
Twilight reads the sign out loud to herself saying "Beware for who so ever crosses this bridge shall never return."
Twilight takes a deep breath and walks across the bridge. As she neared the end of the bridge Twilight saw that here wasn't anymore planks on the bridge. Twilight knowing this is a trial of courage continues walking. A couple minutes later Twilight was across the bridge.
As Twilight looked behind her she saw the illusion hiding the end of the bridge vanish. Feeling relieved Twilight turns around to see Immortalia standing five feet in front of her with a smile on her face.
As Twilight approached Immortalia says " Congratulations Twilight. You passed the Trial of Courage with flying colors. Your next trial is the Trial of Strength. To pass this trial all you need to do is lift this rock above your head with out magic." Immortalia stepped to the side revealing a rock the size of a diamond dog.
Twilight approached the rock and took a deep breath and used all her strength to lift the rock. At first Twilight struggled for a few seconds but all of a sudden she lifted it without any trouble. It felt as light as a feather so she threw it in the river.
Immortalia upon seeing the rock flying through the air says "Oh my Celestia. That is so shocking. You see Twilight that rocks weight even though it was small was the same weight as ten heavy carts. However it was enchanted to become lighter based on the trial takers inner strength. Those who passed this trial before you could only lift it above their head. You are the first pony to ever be able to throw it like it was nothing. However it is now time to begin your next trial. Your next trial is the Trial of Heart."
Twilight looking confused asks "How am i going to pass this trial?"
Immortalia looks twilight in the eyes and says "To pass this trial all you need to do is confess your feeling to Rose. I'm going to summon her spirit here the rest is up to you."
As Immortalia finished talking her horn glows and Rose appears in front of Immortalia and Twilight.
Rose has a look of fear on her face as she looks around. However as her eyes fall on Twilight she runs over to her and asks "Twilight wh-where are we? The last thing i remember is the train being attacked by a dragon."
Twilight after taking a deep breath says "Rose everything is fine. However i have something important to tell you. You are the sun that warms me in the winter. Your are the light i see when all is darkness. You are the sun of my life. I love you my dear Rose. I always have. You see I like other mares romantically. The day i first saw you at Celestia's School for gifted Unicorns was the day i fell in love. Even though you were a colt at the time i still loved you."
Rose had a look of surprise on her face. A couple minutes later she calms down enough to say " I love you too my TwiTwi. I always have."
Immortalia after hearing the exchange of confessions says to Rose "Rose my name is Immortalia. Twilight is here on a mission and i am the one who summoned you. She has passed the trial. However i need to send you back now but know that i will summon you again." After receiving a nod from Rose Immortalia's horn glows and Rose disappears.
Twilight about to start crying says "I'm ready for the next trial."
Immortalia looking pleased says " For your next trial which is the Trial of Skill you must enchant these rings with a detection and protection spell. How you do it is up to you my dear."
Twilight having perfected her own unique detection and protection spell a month ago says "Okay I'm ready." After taking a few deep breaths to calm herself she says " Detanio Protentcia castano un Ringana." All of a sudden there is a flash of rainbow magic from Twilight's cutie mark.
A minute later Twilight and Immortalia regain their sight from the blast of magic. What they saw was a surprise. Both the rings were glowing with a bright rainbow.
Immortalia being the first to recover says " Very well done Twilight. That is the strongest i have ever seen. Now it is time for the final trial. The Trial of Sacrifice will be difficult but i believe in you Twilight. The Trial of Sacrifice must be performed in front of your supposed true love. That means I have to summon Rose, are you ready?"
After taking a deep breath to ready herself she says " To be honest Immortalia i am scared. However if i can save Rose then yes i am."
Three minutes later Immortalia had summoned Rose. As Immortalia looked at Rose she says " Rose This is Twilight's final trial. It is called the Trial of Sacrifice and it needs to be performed in front of you. All you need to do is stay quite and watch."
"If i can help Twilight in anyway i shall do whatever i can to help. After all i love her,"says Rose with the most adorable blush on her face.
Immortalia nods at Rose and turns to Twilight and says " Twilight to pass the Trial of Sacrifice you must sacrifice your three most treasured items. The first is your magic. The second is your immortality. As for the final one it is your life. If you are willing to do this to save the one you love then touch this sword." As Immortalia finished talking a sword dripping in blood appears.
Twilight to save Rose walked up to the sword and touched it. The moment Twilight touched the sword she felt exhausted.
Rose was watching Twilight with shock and horror on her face. The moment she saw Twilight touch the sword she ran forward to Immortalia saying " Please take my magic and life instead of hers i beg you. Equestria and especially Twilight's friends won't survive without her. On the other hand my life means nothing to the protection of Equestria."
Immortalia nods to Rose and says " Fear not. For this trial was for both you and Twilight to see if both of you would be willing to sacrifice yourself for the safety of the other. Both you and Twilight will be unharmed. You have both passed with flying colors."
Rose runs over to Twilight and says while crying " TwiTwi wh-wh-why are you so willing to sacrifice you magic, Immortality and your life for me?"
Twilight says before passing out " Because Rose with out you my life has no meaning.I care about my family and friends but they will move on. I also saved you because out of everypony i know you are the one that has the potential to help others like you be true to them selves."
Immortalia saw the look of worry on Rose's face and says " Rose. Twilight under went these trials to save you. You see in the real world your body is dying. You only have a thirty percent chance of living. So Twilight cast a spell to bring her here to make you immortal. I am proud to say she has passed with flying colors. So with your permission i will cast the spell to make you immortal."
Immortalia after receiving a nod from Rose says " Immortality Incantato Insento Tana Rose."
Rose's body glowed bright then faded.
Immortalia sent Rose back and waited for Twilight to awaken.
After what seemed like an eternity but was really only twenty minutes Twilight started to awaken. As Twilight opened her eyes the first thing she noticed was Immortalia watching her with a smile on her face. Twilight looked directly into Immortalia's eyes and asks " Immortalia, what happened? I failed didn't i?"
Immortalia let out a giggle as she says " Twilight, you and rose have passed the final trial with the highest of honors. For you see the Trial of Sacrifice is a trick trial to see if both the trial taker and the trial watcher would be willing to sacrifice themselves for the other. I have also already made Rose Immortal and healed both her and your wounds. Finally there may be a side effect of Rose becoming immortal but i leave that to you, so go and live a happy life with your true love."
Twilight noticed that as soon as Immortalia was finished she felt incredibly at peace with herself and the world. She closed her eyes for a minute so she could enjoy the feeling. When Twilight next opened her eyes she found herself back in the empty meadow.
Once she realized where she was she looked at her hoof and noticed that the spot where the metal from the train had pierced her was healed. As Twilight stared in amazement at her former wound she remembered what happened. As soon as she remembered she spread her wings and flew to the hospital at a speed that would make even Rainbow Dash envious.
Five minutes later Twilight was in front of the hospital. Twilight walked into the hospital and went straight to the room Rose was in. Once she reached the door she knocked three times. After a second she received a come in from Rose. Twilight took a deep breathe to calm herself then walked into the room.
Rose upon seeing Twilight says " My TwiTwi. I was so worried about you. Also please don't ever risk yourself for me again. By the way I remember everything that happened in that place. Including the part where we told each other our true feelings. But since that wasn't this realm I think we should admit it to each other in this realm to make it official, so I'll go first. I love you with all my heart Twilight Sparkle. Will you be my marefriend?"
Twilight stunned that Rose remembered the other realm says "Rose i love you too with all my heart. Yes i will be your marefriend if you will be mine?"
Rose excitedly answers "I guess we are marefriends. Also you can come out Pinkie. I know your there."
Pinkie walks in to the room with her normally poofy hair deflated and says " Aww how did you know i was there Rose. I wanted to surprise you. By the way the doctor says you can leave now."
Rose giggled then turns serious and says " I know this is going to sound weird. However weird it is going to sound I'm going to tell you. For some reason ever since i woke up i have been able to sense everyponies personal inner magic. Whether they are Earth, Unicorns, Pegasi or Alicorns. I don't know why but it only works with in a fifteen hooves radius. Just don't tell anypony. Because i have a feeling if everypony finds out somepony will try to make me disappear."
Twilight upon hearing what Rose had just said says in a scared tone of voice " Rose i need you to close your eyes and focus on your own magical presence. After you do that i want you to tell me what you see. I once read a book that was restricted and locked so that only Celestia could open it. Well one day about a year before i was sent to find the elements Celestia unlocked it and let me read it. The book was just a story about a unicorn who on top of being skilled in magic had two abilities. The first was she could sense anypony's inner magic. The second one was she could if she focused on a pony's magic she could see their future. However if she used her second ability her life would be shortened unless it was her own future. I always thought it was just a story but because of you i now know it wasn't."
Rose after hearing what Twilight said had a feeling that she was hiding something from her. Rose then closed her eyes and focused on her inner magic. As she got a very focused on it she started to see something. At first she saw Ponyville. Blurry at first but as she focused she saw it clearly along with a pony. As the pony got clearer she saw that it was a Pegasus colt of about 16 with a snow white coat and green wings and a black mane and tail. His cutie mark was that of a needle and thread. Rose heard the Pegasus ask " Are you Rose?" She then heard herself say " Yes i am. What can i do for you."
The Pegasus then answers with big hopeful eyes " My name is Six Strings and i heard a rumor in Canterlot that sixteen days ago you got your cutie mark and changed from a colt to a filly is this true?"
Rose heard herself say to the hopeful pony " Yes it is. Is there something i can help you with. You look like you are afraid to say something to me while at the same time you have this hopeful look in your eyes. Just know that no matter what you say i won't be mean or hurt you. I swear it as Celestia raises the sun."
Six Strings relaxes a little and says " The truth is i have always wanted to be a mare. However two weeks ago when i told my parent's and sister the truth my parent's threw me out calling me a freak and monster. My sister Crystal Gem chased after me and said that i should go to Canterlot and ask about Morning Rose. At first no one knew anything but a day later i was walking past the castle when i bumped into somepony. I apologized for not paying attention and we walked together for a while. When he asked my name i told him my name is Six Strings and i was looking for Morning Rose. He was surprised that i was looking for you. He said that Morning Rose was his sister and that his name was Slant Rhyme. He also told me where i could find you. He also told me what happened to you after i told him about me being thrown out for wanting to be a mare. By the way my true name is Threaded needle. What i needed to know was do you have a spell that can make my body match my soul?"
Rose heard herself say " No i don't. A spell like that currently doesn't exist. However after hearing your story i will create one. Meet me in front of the castle in a month's time. I should have it ready by then."
"Really? I mean no disrespect but can you really create such a spell so quickly. Even Star Swirl the Bearded took a year to create a new spell,"says Threaded Needle looking at Rose with a hopeful look in her eyes.
"Of course i can. However for it to work the Princesses will need to focus their magic and channel it into me so i can cast the spell without dying from magical exhaustion. I gotta go. I'll see you in a month's time," Rose heard herself say.
All of a sudden she stopped focusing on her inner magic and the vision stopped. As Rose regains her bearings she sees Twilight talking to her. Rose after shaking her head says " What was that TwiTwi? What did you say?"
Twilight looking concerned says " I asked if you were alright. You kind of zoned out for about Fifteen minutes."
I'm fine but you wont believe what i saw. It was amazing,"says Rose excitedly.

Surprise Party Part 2
"What are you guys talking about. My birthday isn't until August 2 right Twilight. My birthday shouldn't be for another two weeks right?" Inquires Rose in a panicky tone of voice.
"Um Rose you lost track of time my love. Your birthday is today. Today is August second. Pinkie Pie knew today was your birthday because whenever somepony new moves to town she finds out everything she can about them. As for Apple Jack, Fluttershy, Rarity and Rainbow Dash I told them when i realized what happened to you my love and oldest and dearest friend,." Explains Twilight with a smug smile and a knowing tone of voice.
"Well gosh i never expected this. I just wish my mother and brother could be here,."says Rose in a sad tone of voice.
"Ask and you shall receive my dearest daughter,"says Emerald from behind her daughter.
Rose recognizing her mothers voice turns around and says in a very foalish manner " Mommy your here but how. I mean i didn't even know there was going to be a party. Let alone my birthday."
"Well you see sis about a week ago mother and i received a invitation to your surprise birthday party. Mother and i talked about it for a couple hours before deciding to show up. after all you and i are siblings and she is our mother. We are family so we have to be there for each other. By the way congratulations on getting Princess Twilight as your marefriend,"explains Slant appearing from behind Pinkie Pie.
"Anyways enough of all this emotional talk. Rose it is time for presents. We all got you a present after all your one of the mares," says Pinkie handing over a thin box as Fluttershy and the others line up behind her.
"Girls you didn't have to do that. However i accept your gifts my dearest friends and family," says Rose as she opens the thin box.
Inside the box is a piece of paper that says the bearer of this paper is granted one party at anytime and the party is guaranteed to be the bestest most awesome party ever. After reading the piece of paper rose says "Pinkie thank you so much for the certificate."
"No problem Rose I'm glad you like it,"says Pinkie as she goes to get some punch.
Fluttershy steps forward and hands over a similar box except this one is wrapped in a pink and yellow wrapping paper.
Rose takes the box and opens it to see it is similar to pinkies except this one says the bearer of this paper has an appointment at Fluttershy's cottage on august third at 2pm to pick out a pet of their choosing. Rose says in a surprised voice "Fluttershy this is too much but i accept your gift thank you."
As Fluttershy left to get a cupcake Rainbow Dash stepped forward handing over a rainbow colored box.
Rose opened the box to see a pair of Wonderbolt tickets and a gift certificate to a private Wonderbolt's show for two. Rose turns to Rainbow Dash and says " Rainbow dash this is the most awesome present ever thank you."
Applejack was next in line rolling a barrel of the finest Apple Family hard cider.
Rose seeing the barrel says " thank you Applejack i will put it to good use."
Rarity stepped forward next and says " Rose my gift to you is a whole new wardrobe. It is already in your closet. There is no need to thank me."
Next was Roses mother she handed over two tickets to the day spa all expenses paid.
Rose seeing the tickets says " Thank you mommy i love it."
Second to last in line was Roses brother who handed over a large box.
Rose takes it and opens it to see a wooden box that contains an extremely expensive quill that will never break and a never ending bottle of ink that changes color depending on the emotions of the writer. When Rose saw it she gave her brother a hug saying " Thank you bro. I love it."
Finally Twilight stepped forward saying " Rose my love. My gift to you is this." As Twilight hands over a solid gold locket with diamonds engraved on it. "That locket is enchanted to only open for you and me my love. It can also store up to five Alicorns worth of excess magic for a year. If it isn't used in a year the magic will disperse into the ground. I also engraved the words together forever my love,." continues Twilight.
Rose takes the locket from her true love and puts it on saying " Thank you my love. I love it more than words can say. Anyways everypony let's party."
Six hours later everypony left to go home.
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. When Rose realized who she ran into she says in a worried and panicked tone of voice " Fluttershy are you alright? I'm so sorry. I was just thinking about something important and i didn't see you."
As Fluttershy gets to her hooves she says "Rose what has you so deep in thought that you don't notice anypony else? This isn't like you so please tell me. I care about you as if you are my sister."
Rose after thinking for a minute says to Fluttershy " Okay I'll tell you but must not tell anypony else. Okay?" After receiving a nod from Fluttershy she continues to say " Well at ten this morning Princess Celestia showed up and gave me a book that has helped her stay true to herself and helped her be the kind and caring leader she is. She also told me that if i succeed in doing what i saw in my vision I will become an alicorn. To top it all off Celestia told me that she , Luna, Cadance and even the love of my life thinks i will be the greatest alicorn ever. She said that i have all their strengths and none of their weaknesses. That is what i was thinking about so deeply."
Fluttershy upon hearing what Rose had just told her was surprised. But hearing the hint of worry in Rose's voice says " Rose I'm sure it probably won't help but you need to know that you are the strongest, most caring, most thoughtful, most honest and confidant mare i know. So even though it is a shock to hear that Celestia, Luna, Cadance and Twilight believe that you are going to be the greatest alicorn ever I must say that i get where they are coming from. My advice to you is to follow your heart and know that no matter what that your friends and I will always be there if you need us."
"Really. Do you mean you think i will be a greater alicorn than Twilight. I don't mean to sound upset,"says Rose looking worried.
Fluttershy seeing how upset Rose was says in a caring sisterly voice "You listen to me Morning Rose. I have heard all about you from Twilight and I have seen first hoof how caring and forgiving you are. As well as protective and wise. When you are with Twilight the love i feel from you rivals that which i feel from Cadance and Shining Armor. So to answer your question yes i do believe you will be a greater alicorn than Twilight. But enough of that my friend you are here because you had an appointment to pick out a pet right." While Fluttershy was talking she was leading Twilight to her back garden where she had every pet imaginable waiting in a line.
As Rose entered the back garden she says " your right Fluttershy. But where." Rose was cut off mid sentence as she saw all the animals lined up waiting for her.
As Rose walked through the line of animals she started to feel like there wasn't an animal that was perfect for her. The birds while perfect for keeping an eye out had no real muscle to protect and guard those she loved. The bears while having the muscle wasn't that bright. Rose having reached the last animal in line sees the perfect pet. It was a dog of pure silver with ocean blue eyes as sharp as an eagle and was the size of a full grown adult Great Dane and it was only six months old.
Rose wanting to give the dog a choice sits down in front of the dog and says "you dog are the one i choose to be by my side as an ever watchful guardian. However i don't want yo take the choice away from you so touch my hoof if you want to be with me."
The dog looks at the pone for a minute trying to find any sign of betrayal. Having found nothing but care, love and sincerity in rose's eyes gets up and touches his nose to her hoof. The very second his nose touched Rose's hoof there was a surge of magic between them. Not enough to hurt but enough to shock them both.
"Wow that was really intense. I've never felt anything like it before," says the dog.
As soon as the dog spoke Fluttershy, Rose and the dog were surprised. Rose being being the first to recover says " Did did you just talk."
The dog being the second one to recover from the surprise says "It appears so. By the way my name isn't dog it's Silver. As for me and you yes i will be with you until my dying breathe."
Fluttershy realizing what just happened between them says " Rose, Silver i know what just happened between you. You see when somepony and a pet's hearts are truly one a surge of magic goes between the both of them. After the magic ends the pet is able to talk to everypony in Equestrian language. Once the bond is made they will always know where the other one is."
"Cool Fluttershy. I didn't know you were so knowledgeable. Here's the certificate. I hate to do this but i need to go. Nimble hooves from my vision is appearing in town in ten minutes. Are you ready Silver?" explains Rose handing over the gift certificate.
"Of course I'm ready Rose. Let's go see who ever this Threaded Needle is."answers Silver as he and Rose galloped to the entrance of ponyville.
After five minutes of hard galloping Rose and Silver arrive at the entrance to Ponyville and waited for Threaded Needle to appear. As Rose and silver were waiting Silver asks " Rose who is this Threaded Needle we are waiting for. What did you mean by your vision?"
Chuckling Rose answers " Silver i know you don't know this but Twilight my marefriend under took a dangerous trial to make me immortal and save my life. As such ever since i became immortal i have been able to see the future of anypony. Normally it would shorten the life of the pony who sees the future unless it was their own future. However since i am immortal i can look into the future without shortening my life. When i first discovered this ability i looked into my own future and saw me and a certain pony have a discussion."
"Really. You mean you can see the future. That is so amazing Rose. By the way i was wondering when i could meet Twilight?"asks Silver.
"Actually i was planning to introduce you to the love of my life tomorrow afternoon, My loyal Guardian." says Rose trying to get a blush from silver.
"Rose your embarrassing me. Wait i smell somepony new. I also hear their hoofsteps and by the sound of it they are twenty five hoofsteps away. Who ever it is they are approaching at about ten hoofsteps per minute," says Silver blushing.
Two and a half minutes later the pony Rose recognized from her vision as Threaded Needle appears.
As he approaches he says in a exhausted tone of voice " Excuse me miss i was wondering if you can tell me where i am?"
Rose deciding to change her vision says " You are in Ponyville Miss Threaded Needle."
"How do you know my heart and souls true name? Also i don't mean to sound rude but who are you,?" inquires Needle in a tone of worry and panic.
Rose giggling says in a calming voice " As to how i know your heart and souls true name is because i have the ability to see the future. I'm so sorry i should've introduced myself. My name is Morning Rose and I am the one you came to see. But let's continue this conversation at my home over a nice cup of orange pekoe black tea."
"That sounds lovely Miss Rose. I'm glad i finally found you,"says Needle with a smile as they head off towards Rose's home.
As Rose and Needle arrive at Rose's home Needle gasps in shock seeing the beautiful house.
Rose giggles at the reaction from Needle and asks "I take it you like my home?"
"I don't like it. I love it. It's perfect," answers Needle in awe of the house.
"Come on in and I'll get the tea. Would you like any ice or sugar for it?" inquires Rose with a smile.
"Just ice please. Thank you for everything Rose," answers Needle shyly as she sits on the couch in the living room.
"Of course Needle. I'll be right back with your tea,"says Rose in a soothing tone of voice as she leaves to get the tea.
About three minutes later Rose returned to the living room carrying a tray with two cups of ice tea. As Rose sets a cup of ice tea in front of Needle she says "Here's your tea Miss Needle. I hope you enjoy your tea."
"I'm sure it is delicious. Wait a minute did you just call me miss,?" inquires Needle worried.
Rose recognizing the worry in Needles tone says " As i said before i foresaw you showing up in ponyville and asking if the rumors were true. The rumors it turns out are true. I was born a Pegasus colt but i knew in my heart i was a unicorn mare. I told my parent's and was nearly killed by my so called father. However the rest of my family accepted me when i went back to face my father. The second rumor about me becoming a unicorn mare is also true. You see i got my cutie mark and when i did there was a burst of rainbow magic that changed me into the unicorn mare i always was. I also know what you want to ask me miss Needle and that is if i could change you into a mare. Am i right?"
"It's true miss Rose. I do want to be a mare. So can you change me into one? Is there a spell for that,?"inquires Needle finishing her ice tea off.
Rose after taking a drink of her tea says " The answer to your question is yes and no. The reason it is yes and no is because no there isn't a spell to change your gender. However in about a month from now I will have one created and if you are willing you can be the first pony i cast the spell on. Would you like to become who you truly are Miss Threaded Needle?"
"You would do that for me miss Rose? If you don't mind can you tell me why are you so nice to me,?" Inquires Threaded looking curious.
"Of course i don't mind. You see I'm nice to everypony but your story reminds me of me when i was losing sight of my true self. Yes I would create the spell not just for you but for everypony who is suffering from being transgender,"explains Rose with a smile.
"Where should i meet you at in a month's time ?"inquires Threaded looking happy.
"Well since i need all the princesses help to cast it the first time. I have it arranged for exactly a month from now in the canterlot castle at exactly noon,"says Rose receiving an excited scream from Needle.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you so very much miss Rose. You have no idea how much this means to me,"says Threaded bouncing off the walls almost literally.
"I'm glad you are happy Needle. By the way how good are you at sewing and creating clothes? I only ask because i have a friend who is looking for an assistant,"says Rose as Threaded's face lights up like a filly on Hearth's Warming Day.
"I'm actually really good at sewing and creating clothes. I would be honored to be her assistant if she'll let me," replies Threaded with a smile.
"Meet me at the Carousel Beautique in a week at noon and i will introduce you,"says Rose as Threaded Needle leaves.
As Threaded Needle trotted away Rose wondered what Needle's future held for her. After a fierce internal debate on whether or not she should look into Threaded's future she decided to look.
Rose having decided to look goes back into the living room sits down and says to silver in a tone so serious that it could cut butter "Silver i have decided to look into Threaded Needle's future. However when I'm looking into the future i cannot see, feel nor hear anything around me. Meaning if somepony wanted to kill me i wouldn't be able to stop them. That is why i want you to protect me if i ever look into the future. So will you protect me while i look my sweet Silver?"
Silver realizing the seriousness in Rose's tone answers " Rose so long as i live and breathe i swear my life to protect you wherever and whenever you need me to. After all you saved me from the loneliness and darkness that rested in my heart. So go look into the future you will be safe with me watching out for you."
Rose gives Silver a serene and peaceful smile says " Thank you Silver. You are truly the most noble and perfect guardian i could ever ask for."
As Rose finished her thanks she closes her eyes and focuses on Threaded Needle's magical energy that was still in the house. At first all Rose could see was darkness. But a couple seconds later Rose saw Threaded Needle. However the Threaded Needle she saw now looked way different but extremely happy. Her eyes that were once green as a flawless emerald were now now as pure as a cloudless sky blue, Her coat was still as white as freshly fallen snow, her black mane was now a light pink with a dark purple stripe and her tail which was once as black as night was now purple with a dark pink stripe. However the most shocking thing was her feathers which used to be green were instead a lovely shade of purple that matched Rarity's mane.
Rose after recovering from the difference sees that Threaded has a wedding ring on her hoof. Rose focused even harder on the vision and sees Rarity come in and on her horn is an identical wedding ring.
Rarity walks over to Threaded and gives the mare a very passionate kiss. Rose getting embarrassed from the intimate display looks further into the future.
What she saw amazed her to her very core. First thing she noticed was the Carasuel Beautique was instead of the single story was now three stories tall and in front were what looked like Threaded Needle and Rarity playing with their children and living a very happy life. Rose deciding she has seen enough ends the vision and returns to the present.
As Rose returned to the present the first thing she decided to do was get ready for her date with Twilight. Rose ran upstairs and looked through the wardrobe for the perfect dress for her first ever date. After about fifteen minutes of looking Rose decided to go with a white dress that enhanced her natural beauty. The dress had embroidered on it a pink rose in the twilight hour. It also had a lot of frills but not so much as to look foalish in design.
After Rose picked out her dress she heard a knock on her door. Rose seeing that there was still an hour and a half til her date went to see who it was.
When Rose opened the door she saw that it was Rarity on the other side. Rose noticed that Rarity looked extremely excited.Rose wondering what would make Rarity this excited says "Rarity what are you doing here? Also why are you so excited?"
Rarity giggled and said " Why darling I'm here to help you with your mane for your date. As for why am i so excited is because this is your very first date and it is with your true love. There is nothing more romantic anywhere."
Rose grateful to Rarity says " Thank you so much Rarity for your help. If there is anything I can do please let me know."
Rarity surprised by the offer says " Well there is one thing. Could you by any chance look into my future and tell me who my true love is?"
This time it was Rose's turn to be surprised. She looked at Rarity and said in a sisterly tone "My dear Rarity as it so happens I don't need to look into your future. For i already know who it is and the answer is Threaded Needle."
"Are you saying that the Threaded Needle from your vision is my true love? How do you know that without looking into my future,?" inquires Rarity in all seriousness.
Rose after taking a breathe says " Rarity I just got done meeting with Threaded about an hour ago. After she left i was curious about her future. So I went ahead and looked into her future and what i saw shocked me. You and Threaded Needle were married and living happily. But then you and her shared a intimate kiss and i looked even further into the future. Then finally the last thing i saw was you and Threaded playing happily with your foals. Anyways I thought you were here to do my mane."
Rarity after hearing Rose's vision says " I am Rose. As a matter of fact it is already done."
Rose shocked that Rarity had done her mane with out her knowing says after rushing to the Mare's room and seeing her mane " Thank you Rarity. I love it." Rose's mane was now cut so that her eyes were in view and made her look demure and shy at the same time.
"I'm glad Rose. By the way if you want to impress Twilight on your date take her to the hay burger and then to Sweet Apple Acres for a private romantic hay ride. Don't worry i talked to Apple Jack and she is willing to take the two of you on a romantic ride," says Rarity with a smile.
Rose surprised that Rarity had went through so much and went out of her way says in a grateful tone of voice "Thank you so much Rarity. I will do that along with a little surprise for Twilight at the end."
"Okay be sure to have fun Rose and remember Twilight loves you for who you are. So you don't have to worry. Just have fun my dear. follow your heart and you and Twilight will make it through anything,"answers Rarity leaving.
After Rarity left Rose decided to read up on how to create spells. Rose heads into her living room where the book she needed was waiting. she gets comfortable on the couch and starts to read.
When the time finally came for the date Twilight after knocking for five minutes walks into Rose's house and sees deeply into a book. Twilight deciding to give Rose a little scare sneaks up behind her and nibbles on Rose's ear.
Rose feeling somepony nibble on her ear says in a scared tone of voice " Who's there? Please don't hurt me. I have my first ever date with my true love soon."
Twilight giggling at Rose's reaction says " Why it is just me my Rose. I came to pick you up for our date and so you looking so adorable. I just had to give your cute little ears a nibble my love. I'm sorry if i scared you."
"Twilight you silly mare. Of course you scared me. However i forgive you my love because in all honesty i loved the feeling. Anyway how about we start our date? By the way i love your dress," says Rose seeing Twilight in a dress that was the same color as the twilight hour with Twilight's cutie mark on it. However as Rose looked closer at the cutie mark she noticed that her cutie mark was inside Twilight's.
"Of course my dear Rose. Why don't you lead the way," says Twilight looking nervously at Rose.
Rose knowing how nervous Twilight is says " Okay Twilight. However there is somepony who wants to meet you. Silver can you come here for a minute?"
A couple seconds later Silver comes running into the living room saying " Yes Rose what can i do for you. Also who is this? She has a lovely scent. It smells of lavender on a full moon."
Rose chuckling says " Silver you remember when you asked me when you were going to meet my marefriend. Well this mare with the lavender scent is my marefriend Twilight Sparkle. Twilight this is Silver. Even though technically he is my pet i consider him my guardian and by extension yours."
Twilight realizing what happened between Rose and Silver says in a soothing voice " It is an incredible honor to meet you Silver. Thank you so very very much for protecting Rose. Honestly i don't know what i would do with out her."
Embarrassed Silver says while blushing " No the honor is all mine princess. There is also no need to thank me. Rose is a part of my family as are you Twilight. However that's enough talk. You two go on your date now. After all you are already running late."
Rose and Twilight leave on their date while saying " Good bye Silver. See you later and be sure to take care of the house."
After fifteen of walking and talking Rose and Twilight finally arrive at the Hayburger. As Twilight approaches the entrance Rose says while holding the door open " Allow me my love. Just so you know this date is on me. Anything you want let me know and it shall be yours. I chose the Hayburger for us to eat because i know it is your favorite."
" How do you know that Rose?," Inquires Twilight embarrassed.
"Well you see i wanted tonight to go perfectly for you so i asked around. After compiling all the data i determined that this was the best place to eat," says Rose as she and Twilight reach the counter.
As soon as they approach the counter the the unicorn mare employee at the register said " Hello and welcome to the Hayburger. What can i get for such a lovely couple tonight?"
Twilight knowing exactly what she wanted says " I would like a grand Hayburger with a large Dandelion juice."
As the employee entered the order she says " What would you like miss?"
Rose thinking that Twilight's order sounded good says " Actually make that two my good lady."
" If that is all your total is 15 bits," says the employee as Rose handed over a 20 bit coin.
Rose seeing the employee go to get Rose her change says " Keep the change as a tip miss. Also if you could bring the meals outside we would be so grateful."
The employee grateful for the tip says in a grateful tone " Thank you very much miss Rose. I would be honored to bring out your meal. Go ahead and relax it will be out as soon as possible."
As Rose and Twilight headed to the outside table they talked about their deepest secrets. Twilight decided to take the first turn. Twilight says in a embarrassed tone of voice " My first secret Rose is that growing up and even now I have always wished that you and i would one day get married. On a side note I would love to carry your foals some day."
As soon as Twilight finished talking the employee came over and laid out the couples order. She the placed a candle in the middle of the table and using her magic lit the candle and left.
Soon as the employee was out of ear shot Rose looked Twilight deep in her eyes and said in a very romantic tone of voice " Twilight my love i have had the same wish ever since i ever since i first met you at Celestia's School For Gifted Unicorns. Even when you left to find the elements i still loved you. Though i never told you because i thought after you cut ties with me that you hated me. I only thought you cut ties with me because you never wrote to me. I would've written to you but i didn't know where you went."
Twilight hearing the hurt in her Marefriend's voice says " Rose i have always loved you and the reason i never wrote was because i was afraid."

First Date Part 2
"Oh Twilight there was no need to be afraid. However i do understand why you were afraid," says Rose as she finishes her meal.
Twilight having also just finished her meal says "Thank you for this lovely meal my love. Just out of curiosity what do you have planned next?"
"Well i have a private moon lit wagon ride arranged, followed by some private cuddling under a tree and finally a surprise for you my TwiTwi," says Rose as Applejack arrives pulling a wagon.
Twilight's eyes go wide as soon as she realized that Applejack was pulling the wagon just big enough for two ponies. Soon after Twilight recognizes Applejack she says in a nervous tone of voice "Hi A.J. what are you doing here?"
Applejack says in a serious tone of voice " Aww sugarcube. There is no reason to be nervous. I'm just here to take both yall some where special. It is where my ma and pa used to star gaze."
After Twilight climbed in to the wagon Rose then followed. After about twenty minutes of chatting they arrive in a small meadow with a pot of fresh tea, a blanket and a telescope.
As the wagon stopped Twilight looked around and saw the set up and says " Rose this is absolutely perfect. We are far enough away we can see all the stars and you even have my favorite tea set up. Rose you are absolutely perfect. I wonder what i did to deserve somepony like you ."
Rose leads Twilight over to the blanket and says " Twilight, My one and only love i have a surprise for you. However i need you to close your eyes for a minute, okay?"
Twilight looking a little confused says in a excited tone of voice " For you my love i will gladly close my eyes. For even when they are closed i know where you are."
As soon as Twilight's eyes were closed Rose pulled out an ancient necklace with her magic via a teleportation spell. The necklace was embedded with sapphires and rubies on a solid gold heart on one side while on the other side was a spell only true love can reveal."
Once rose had the necklace out she held it in front of Twilight and said in a romantic tone of voice " You can open your eyes my TwiTwi."
Twilight pens her eyes and sees the most beautiful necklace she has ever seen. However as she looks closer at the necklace she sees the engraving on the back. A couple seconds later she realizes what the necklace actually is and says " Rose is this necklace for me? Also do you know what this necklace is? I only ask because i know what it truly is."
Rose not knowing about the necklaces true nature says " Yes my TwiTwi. I got this necklace from Celestia years ago. She gave it to me and said to give it to my true love when i find the stallion or mare. I don't however know what the necklaces truly is. All i know is that it will protect my true love."
Twilight excited to hear what Rose had just said says in a loving and excited tone of voice "Rose this necklace is actually a royal treasure of Celestia's family. Celestia showed it to me once when i was around five. She told me that the necklace is passed down from grandmare to grandfilly and if she gave it to you that means only one thing,"
Rose realizing what Twilight just said asks " Twilight are you saying that princess Celestia is my grandmare? How sure are you? I only ask because I'm wondering if it is true why didn't she say anything."
Twilight places a calming hoof on her marefriend and says " Rose, That is exactly what i am saying. As for how sure i am. I am one hundred percent sure. I don't know why Celestia didn't say anything . Also that necklace duplicates in the presence of true love."
As Twilight finishes talking the necklace starts to glow a bright rainbow color. When the glow is gone there in Twilight's magic is two identical necklaces.
Celestia and Luna's Confession Part 1
Celestia and Luna’s Confession
Rose takes one of the two necklaces and puts it on. Twilight did the same.
Rose gently placed her hoof on Twilight’s shoulder, taking in a deep breath. “Twilight, I know I had the evening all planned out but do you mind if we call it a night? I have a lot to think about. I should be myself by tomorrow. So what do you say to breakfast at my house?”
Twilight hearing the worry in her marefriend’s voice wraps her hooves around Rose, holding the mare tightly. Twilight smiles. “That sounds lovely my, Rose. However no matter what your heritage is I love you for who you are. Not for who your family is my sweet, Rose.”
Rose smiled, placing her hoof around Twilight. They walked home together, the stars shone brightly; illuminating the ground.
After some time they see Twilight’s castle ahead of them. As they got closer Twilight and Rose were shocked to see both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna standing in front of the castle with worried looks on their faces.
Rose’s eyes went wide when she spotted the Princesses; she hid behind Twilight’s wings. Inhale, exhale, deep breaths, Rose was wheezing badly.
Twilight felt Rose shaking against her feathers, she placed her hoof on Rose’s mane. Twilight took in a deep breath, and cast a telepathy spell over herself and Rose. Twilight says, through the spell,“Rose, I know you are scared right now. But you need to calm down or you will pass out. Just let me know what you want to say and I will say it for you.”
Rose took in a deep breath; she looked out from Twilight’s wings. “ Okay, Twilight. I,I...I don’t want to talk to Celestia right now...”
Twilight smiled. “Just think it, and I’ll say it.”
Rose leaned close to Twilight as they approached the Princesses.
Twilight cleared her throat. “Celestia and Luna we need to talk in the throne room now. I assume you know why? Or is it more lies this time?”
Neither of them said anything. Luna looked away, not making eye contact with Rose. Twilight placed her hoof around Rose, pulling the mare in close. Her eyes were pointed and fierce.
Celestia broke the silence. “Actually Twilight Luna and I are here to explain everything to Rose. Including her heritage and her grandpa. For Rose is not the first in her family to change gender because of a burst of magic.”
Twilight struggled for a response. “Well, I uh, I-I, uh, well…”
Rose nuzzled Twilight’s neck. Rose thought, Twilight, let’s hear what they have to say.
Twilight nodded; leading the Princesses inside, and to the throne room. Upon entry three new thrones appeared, each one with a cutie mark. The two directly across from Twilight had Celestia and Luna’s cutie mark, while the one on Twilight’s right hoof had Rose’s cutie mark.
Twilight took in a deep breath before speaking. “Rose, trusts me to speak on her behalf; in order to avoid any lies, I want to cast a truth spell on the both of you.”
Celestia and Luna look at each other momentarily, then nod at Twilight. The purple alicorn lit up her horn, blasting Celestia and Luna with a magic beam. Light danced in front of their eyes, they shook their heads, regaining clarity.
Ask Celestia why she never told me she was my grandmother. And if my mom knows that she’s her daughter. Rose thought.
Twilight said, “Celestia, Rose wants to know why you never told her that you’re her grandmother? And why didn’t you tell her even after I showed you what her father did to her? Lastly she wants to know if her mother knows that she is your daughter?”
Celestia smiled. “Yes her mother knows about her heritage. As for why I didn’t tell her after what happened with her father. I was too scared. As for why I never told her is difficult to say, however I will do my best. The truth is after her grandpa was murdered I had to hide your mother's heritage to protect you both. I always watched out for you though.”
Rose wondering how Celestia watched out for her tells Twilight to ask Celestia how she protected her.
Twilight asks, “Rose is wondering how you have watched over her. I however am more interested in how and why her grandpa was murdered and if her family and friends are in danger?”
Celestia sighs, then says “Yes, if the organization that killed her grandpa is still out there then she and all those she cares about are in danger. You see the organization is called Destroyers Of Equestria. The reason they murdered her grandpa is because he wouldn’t join them. That made him dangerous to them because he had the same ability as Rose. He could see into the future. The thing is the night before he was murdered he begged me to make his brother Lunar Moon a Alicorn.”
Celestia after taking a deep breath, says, “Luna can you take over for me?”
“Of course sister. I know how sensitive you are about this subject,” Luna says, looking at her sister in sympathy.
Luna then turns to Twilight and Rose and continues the story saying, “Celestia thought about turning Lunar Moon into an alicorn. She wasn’t going to do it until your grandpa told her that he foresaw his death and the death of his brother who he cared for. Celestia knew enough that if her husband scared to do what he said. So she went and turned Lunar Moon into an Alicorn. What nopony was expecting was for the transformation to change him into a mare.”
Luna takes in a breath, then continues, “Celestia knowing that if anypony found out Equestria would fall. So to protect her only relative she had left falsified a death certificate, while at the same time making a new birth certificate. At that moment Lunar Moon ceased to exist while from the despair rose Princess Luna. In other words I am your great uncle Rose and like you I always knew I was a mare. Anyways twelve hours after I was made a alicorn your grand stallion went on a walk by himself and was killed. He was a great unicorn and his name has been remembered through the centuries. His name was Starswirl. Yes Twilight I said Starswirl. Your idol and don’t think I didn’t see that look of shock.”
Celestia and Luna's Confession Part 2

Over the next four weeks Rose and Twilight went on a date every other day. Tomorrow was the day Rose was going to cast her spell on Threaded Needle.
Rose had introduced Needle to Rarity three days after her first date with Twilight. When Needle and Rarity met it was like a jolt of magic shot through them.
Restless, Rose tried her best to get sleep that night.
Rose awoke the next morning at 6:00 am to the smell of freshly baked pancakes. She got out of bed and got ready for the big day. She then made her way to Twilight, who was preparing a fresh pot of tea for them.
They had a nice romantic breakfast while they prepared for what was about to happen. Once they were as prepared as they could be Twilight and Rose teleported to the throne room of Canterlot castle where Threaded and the other three Princesses were waiting for them.
As Twilight went to stand with the other Princesses Rose says,“Okay everypony. Are you ready?”
After receiving a nod from everypony Rose says,“Okay, here is the layout. First I need Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight to transfer twenty percent of their magic to me. Threaded Needle you will lay on this bed we have set up. Now once the magic is transferred to me I will have about a minute to cast the spell. So I need Twilight’s help in order to perform the spell. Does every pony understand?”
As everypony got into position they all said in unison,“We are ready.” Once everypony was in position all four Princesses transfer twenty percent of their magic.
Rose upon receiving the magic says in unison with Twilight,“Incantato Gendero Changana Un Magica Soula.”
As Rose and Twilight finish the spell there was a burst of Alicorn magic far beyond what was given to Rose. The magic hit Threaded and her appearance started to change.
About thirty seconds after the spell was complete Rose’s Body was transported to the Realm of Alicorn Creation. Rose having closed her eyes when she felt the activation of a teleportation spell opened them to see that she was standing in front of Princess Celestia with a proud smile on her face.
Rose was about to ask where she was when Celestia says,“Rose, my granddaughter you have come so far and suffered so much. Yet you still believe that everypony deserves to be happy, safe and their true selves. You are also wise beyond your years, you are protective of those who need it but are merciless towards those that have no chance of changing and are truly evil. Lastly you understand the importance of true friends and how to spread friendship. For all your accomplishments I make you a Princess of the highest order.”
The moment Celestia finished her speech Rose felt her wings return. Though the coloring had changed from the black of night to the color of the twilight hour. Once the wings were back Rose was returned to the throne room where Luna, Cadence, and Twilight stood in awe of the newest alicorn.
When Rose finally recovered from the shocking teleportation she noticed standing in the doorway was her mother. Rose looked closer at her mother and saw that she had the biggest smile Rose has ever seen on her face. Rose decided in that moment that she was going to repay her mother for everything she had done for her. Rose thought for a second on what would be the best gift for her mom. Rose then realized that the best gift was to make her mother an alicorn again.
Rose neutralized Celestia’s spell, replacing it with her own. Everypony was shocked to see Rose shoot magic at her mother. All but Celestia who had just reappeared and knew exactly what the spell was.
The moment the spell touched Emerald there was a flash that blinded everypony for a few seconds. There standing in the doorway was Emerald, only now she was an alicorn.
Celestia stepped forward and explained to the confused ponies,“Cadance, Twilight, Emerald, I have an announcement. You see Emerald already knows this, she is my daughter. However what she doesn’t know is that she was born an alicorn. I knew she was going to be in danger if anyone knew she was my daughter. To protect her I used all my magic to hide her horn.”
Celestia paused to let what she had said to sink in. Once it had she continued,“The spell Rose cast restored her mother’s horn. The coronation for Rose and Emerald will be held in exactly a week's time. Emerald, who has always been able to sense the truth in the words of others will be crowned the Princess of Truth, While Rose will be crowned High Princess of Equestria. Does anypony have an objection?”
Celestia waited three whole minutes that felt like hours for anypony to object. When nopony objected Celestia turned to Rose and asked,“Rose, would you like a castle of your own my granddaughter?”
Rose blushed and turned to her grandmother, whispering,“Remember I told you I am going to ask Twilight to marry me at the gala. So no I don’t need a castle or a guard to protect me. Because when I get back home I am going to explain my heritage to my friends. That way they can help me protect not only myself but Twilight as well.”
Celestia smiled. “I understand Rose. I just hope you realize the danger.”
After receiving a nod Celestia looked at Threaded Needle who was starting to wake up. Once Threaded recovered Celestia said,“I hereby declare that Threaded Needle is afforded the same rights as all mares. Her name will be changed and her birth certificate will be reissued in her true gender. All her pictures shall be changed to show her growing up as a filly and mare and all memories replaced. And, Gleaming Shield please bring in the special guests.”
A minute later Gleaming Shield escorted in three pegasi. The first was a stallion of the purest sky blue. He was Threaded’s father and his name is Sky Guardian and his cutie mark is that of the sky with a shield and sword.
The second was an older mare with a snowy white coat and wings, who’s cutie mark was an ice sword. Her name was Ice Cutter and she was Threaded’s mother.
The last one was a pegasus mare about five years older than Threaded and had a coat as blue as the sky with a snow white mane and wings. She was Threaded’s older sister and her name was Snowy Blizzard. Her cutie mark was that of a blizzard.
Threaded was afraid of what her parents wanted to say. However she also knew that since her sister was here she would accept her for who she is.
Threaded gaining courage from that walks over to her parents with her head down and asks,“What do you want with me Mom and dad? I already know you don’t accept me for who I am. You don’t need to rub it in. I just need to do what makes me happy. It’s nice to see you Snowy, thanks for all the support.”
Sky Guardian was the first to speak saying,“Threaded I know your mother and I didn’t support you when you needed us and we’re sorry. However over the past two months your sister has been trying to convince us what you feel is real.”
Sky guardian took a minute to prepare himself for what he was about to say. Once he was ready he says in an shamed voice,“It wasn’t until Princess Celestia showed up at our house last week and explained that you were going to have an spell cast on you to make you who you truly are that we realized that you were right. You have always been more feminine than anypony else and if you will accept our apologies we would like to get to know our daughter.”
When Sky Guardian finished talking he broke down crying along with Ice Cutter. Threaded had never seen her parents cry before. As such she knew what her father was saying was the truth. Threaded decided in that moment to say “I forgive you mommy and daddy. Because to me losing you is unbearable and painful. After all you are my family. On a happier note I have somepony to introduce to you.”
Threaded’s family was shocked to hear this. Snowy Blizzard asked,“Who is it sis?”
Threaded just chuckled and said,“You’ll see sis. Gleaming Shield could you please bring in my special somepony?”
Gleaming who had been standing in the shadows left for a minute minute and then returned, standing beside her was Rarity who ran to Threaded, giving her a kiss.
Threaded broke the kiss and said,“Rarity, this is my family. Everypony this is my marefriend Rarity Belle. She is a designer and owner of three boutiques in Equestria.”
Threaded’s parents were shocked to meet Rarity. However they were happy to see their daughter happy and in love.
Snowy was the first to speak, saying,“It is so nice to meet you miss Rarity. My family has to leave but please take care of my sister.”
Once Snowy was done talking Threaded’s family left. Threaded looked at her marefriend and said,“Let’s go home my diamond.”
Before Threaded and Rarity left Threaded turned to Rose and said,“Thank you Rose for making my dream come true. If you should ever need my help let me know. Also congrats on becoming an alicorn, you deserve it.”
As Threaded and Rarity left Rose turned to everypony and said,“Thank you for believing in me. TwiTwi, are you ready to go back home?”
Twilight walked over to Rose, touching their horns together. Twilight used her magic to stream her love into Twilight. As Twilight’s magic faded she said,“ Let’s go home my Rose.”
Emergency Meeting and Permission
Once Rose finished talking to everypony both she and Twilight teleport back to Ponyville. Upon arriving Rose turned to Twilight and said,“TwiTwi there is something I need to do alone. However I will see you tomorrow night my love.”
Twilight blushed fiercely and said,“As you wish your highness. I will see thee in the night of tomorrow.”
Rose broke out laughing as her true love trotted away into the moonlight. Over the next half hour Rose had called an emergency meeting for all her friends except Twilight. Soon everypony arrived.
Once all of Rose’s friends were gathered Rose said,”Everypony I have something to say and it will be shocking.The truth is I am Celestia’s granddaughter. On top of that there is an organization that may target me and my friends and family. That is why I need to ask can you help keep an eye out to help me protect Twilight. Lastly I need you all to pinkie promise me not to say a word to Twilight about what I said or am about to say.”
After everypony pinkie promised Rose continued,“In exactly one month at the Grand Galloping Gala I plan to ask Twilight for her hoof in marriage. Thus leading to a favor from everypony. I need you Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy to keep Twilight distracted. Meanwhile Rarity, Applejack and I will go to Canterlot to ask Twilight’s family for their permission. Pinkie because you can come out of seemingly nowhere I need you to warn us if Twilight finds out where we went.”
Rose after taking a breath to steady herself timidly asked,“So can I count on you all?”
“Of course we will darlin. By the way Rainbow Dash you lost the bet. I told you she wasn’t going to wait,” Applejack said.
“You’re right Applejack. I lose the bet. I’ll come by in three days time to fulfill my end.” Rainbow winks.
Everypony else nodded their assent. Rose smiled at her friends, they all came together in a group hug.
The next morning Rose was at the train station by seven o'clock, waiting for Applejack and Rarity to show up. When the clock read 7:30 Rose saw both Applejack and Rarity coming towards her. Once all three were on the train the train departed for Canterlot.
As everypony got comfortable Applejack asked,”So Rose do you know how you are going to ask Twilight’s parents and brother?”
Rose says,“Actually I do. I’m going to knock on the door and ask to speak to the Sparkle family.”
Rose getting excited takes a second to calm down and continues,”Once we are all comfortable I’m going to say Velvet, Night Light and Shining Armor as you may know Twilight and I are in love. I am here because I’m hoping you will allow me to ask Twilight for her hoof in marriage. I have a special poem for the proposal. It goes like this:
As Celestia raises the sun
And Luna the moon
I know our love will always be true
Though one day we may part
Know your the bearer of my heart
I love thee
Will you marry me
I hope you might
My lovely Twilight.”
Rose takes a drink of water before she continues,”After that it’s all up to them. I don’t know what their response will be. However I would rather have their blessing when I pop the question, rather than have them hate me for it later.”
Applejack was stunned into silence by the poem. Rarity on the other hoof said,“That sounds like a lovely poem. It’s also the perfect setting to ask her at the Gala. Just know that no matter what, your friends will be there for you.”
Rose smiles. “Thank you Rarity. By the way, if Twilight accepts my proposal I would be honored if you were to make the dresses.”
Rarity shrieked in excitement for a minute before calming down. Once she was calm she said,“Rose, I would be honored to create yours and Twilight’s wedding dresses.”
The three friends sat in silence for the rest of the ride. As the train pulled into the Canterlot stop Rose started to get nervous.
Applejack noticing this said,“It’s alright Rose. These are Twilight’s parents and you have met them before.”
Rose upon hearing Applejacks words calmed down and said,“You're right Applejack. Let's go meet my possible in-laws.” Once Rose finished talking she started to walk to the Sparkle household.
After fifteen minutes of walking the three friends arrive at their destination. Rose confidently walked up to the door and knocked. After a couple seconds the door opened to reveal Twilight Velvet.
Twilight Velvet upon seeing her daughters marefriend and two of her best friends said,“Hey girls. How have you been?”
Rose deciding to follow through with her plan said,“Velvet, there is something I need to discuss with you, Night Light, Shining Armor and Cadance. It’s very important and has to do with Twilight.”
Velvet realizing the seriousness in Rose’s tone leads the three mares to the living room where her husband, son and daughter in-law sat. As Velvet entered the room she said, “Nighty, Shiny and Cadance, Rose has something to say. It’s important and has to do with Twily. So listen up. The floor is all yours Rose.”
Rose waited until everypony was comfortable before she said,”The reason I’m here is to get your permission to ask Twilight for her hoof in marriage. I even have a poem that may convince you if you want to hear it.”
”I would love to hear this poem you have written that will convince us of your love for our daughter.” Velvet smiles. The others nodded in agreement.
Rose recites her poem:
As Celestia raises the sun.
And Luna raises the moon.
I know our love will always be true.
Though one day we may part
Know your the bearer of my heart
I love thee
Will you marry me
I hope you might
My lovely Twilight.
Night Light after receiving a nod from everypony else said,“As lovely as that poem is I have just one question. Do you love my daughter with all your heart and soul?”
Rose not expecting that one universal question blushed and said in a shy tone of voice,“I do love Twilight with all my heart and soul. I have loved her since two months before she left to find the elements. Back then I was known as Rhyme Script.”
Shining Armor shocked at hearing that Rose was Twilight's childhood friend said,“You were Rhyme? Twilight has always had a crush on you. As for your request, we would be honored to give you our blessing. Welcome to the family sis. By the way, congratulations on becoming High Princess. I always knew you had it in you.”
Rose took a couple minutes to calm herself because she was about to cry tears of joy. When she calmed down she said,“Yes I used to be Rhyme. Also thank you for giving me your blessing. However now we must leave for I have a date tonight.”
Velvet gave each of her visitors a hug before she let them leave.
“Goodbye girls,” Velvet said.
Later that night Rose dropped Twilight at home. Smiling, while she thought about her future.
Six days passed and Rose was nervously pacing in her living room. Twilight was sitting on the couch watching Rose. After Rose’s 150th pass Twilight said,“Rose, why are you so nervous?”
Rose looked at Twilight with eyes that screamed incredulity. After taking a calming stance Rose said, “I’m nervous because in exactly twelve hours I’m going to be crowned High Princess of Equestria. On top of that I don’t know how to lead a country. What if I mess up and we go to war?”
Twilight chuckled. “Rose, you are being silly. Though I understand your worries for I have had the same. However keep in mind that Celestia, Luna, Emerald and myself will be there. You will only be needed to rule in certain situations. Otherwise you can do what you like.”
Rose’s nervousness flew out the window at Twilight’s words. Rose went over to Twilight and gave her a kiss. Once the kiss was over Rose said, “Thank you my TwiTwi. You always know exactly what to say to calm me down.”
“Of course dear. Anyways how about we start getting ready . After all you are only coronated once,” said Twilight, looking excited.
Over the next five hours Rose went to Carousel Boutique, Sweet Apple Acres, Rose’s family house, and finally Canterlot Castle. As Rose approached the castle with Twilight by her side she saw Gleaming Shield approach with an excited look on her face.
Gleaming said,“Your highnesses, Princess Celestia request your presence in her room immediately. On a side note congratulations on becoming High Princess Rose.”
Rose and Twilight walked towards Celestia’s room. As Rose and Twilight approach the room the two day guards opened the doors to allow the two royals to enter. As soon as Rose and Twilight were in the room they saw Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Shining Armor and Emerald standing in a line with a worried expressions on their faces.
Rose being the first to see the looks asked,“What’s wrong everypony? You look like you have seen a ghost. Did I do something wrong?”
Celestia looks at Rose and answers ”No Rose, You haven’t done anything wrong. It’s just earlier today I received a letter from somepony claiming to be the new leader of The Destroyers of Equestria. He said unless I cancel your coronation and banish you he will kill you during the coronation. Along with Twilight, Emerald. and your brother. We were discussing whether or not to do as he says and as of now we are divided.”
Celestia took a breath to regain her composure. “ Two of our members think we should banish you. The rest of us think the decision should be up to you. According to an ancient law when a situation like this occurs we must leave the decision up to the High Princess. So what do you say?”
Rose thought about this before she answered. “If it means keeping my true love and all those I care about safe then I choose-”
Before Rose could finish Twilight said,“Rose, I have an idea and there is a high chance it will work. You see if he follows through with what he wrote in the letter the leader himself will try to kill Rose at the coronation. So what I think we should do is have Rose go through with the coronation. Meanwhile I will cast a telepathy spell on us before we leave. That way if we see something strange all of us will know.”
Twilight waited a few minutes so everypony could absorb what she said. Once everypony nodded in understanding.
Twilight continued,“ Once he makes his move all three of you will step in and arrest him.” She pointed at Celestia, Shining Armor, and Cadance.
Rose thought about Twilight’s plan, not seeing any major flaws in the plan Rose looked at everypony and said,“I say we go with Twilight’s plan. If we all work together we should be able to stop who ever tries to kill me.”
Everypony in the room nodded their assent. Once everypony agreed Twilight cast a telepathy spell on everypony before they left to get ready for the coronation.
Over the next two hours Rose was with Rarity getting her hooves done, her hair down, having a massage to relax her muscles and finally putting on the coronation dress Rarity made for her.
The dress itself was a light sky blue silk, with a six pointed star that looked exactly like Twilight’s cutie mark except for inside the star was Rose’s cutie mark. It also had pink diamonds sewn into it in a heart surrounding the cutie marks.
As soon as Rarity took her place in line the music signalling a new princess is about to be crowned began playing.
Rose approached Celestia.
Celestia smiled. “Today we are here to crown not one but two new princesses. The first is my daughter Emerald Celestia Star formerly Emerald Script. Do you Emerald swear to protect all who live in Equestria?”
Emerald stepped forward and said,“I Emerald swear to thee and all who live in Equestria that I shall protect all those I can.”
Celestia proudly said, “Then I declare thee to be the Princess of Truths. May you forever walk the path of light.” As Celestia finished she placed a crown with a emerald of purest green on Emeralds head.
Emerald took her spot by her mother.
Once Emerald was in her spot Celestia turned to the assembled ponies and said,“This next coronation is even more special. Because for the first time since Equestria was founded we are to crown our first High Princess. Her name is Morning Rose and she is my granddaughter. She has the strongest alicorn magic in existence and a very unique ability that only a High Prince or Princess can acquire.”
Everypony in the room was shocked except for Celestia’s nephew, Prince Blueblood who was wearing a dagger on his side.
Celestia spotted the dagger. Keep a close eye on Blueblood for the symbol he carries signals he is the leader. She telepathically communicated to the others.
All the others mentally acknowledged Celestia’s message as Celestia continued, “Rose, my dearest granddaughter will you help all those who need your help?”
Unbeknownst to Celestia, Rose had cast a enhanced hearing spell on herself. Rose stepped forward and proudly said,“I Morning Rose swear to protect all those who need my help. Should one day I need to sacrifice my life I will gladly do it to save others.”
As Celestia was about to lay a crown with a rose embedded with the most beautiful and pure diamonds upon Rose’s head Prince Blueblood charged at Rose. Blueblood took out his knife when he was a foot away from Rose.
Rose upon hearing Blueblood take out the knife cast a shield spell around herself. Once the shield was in place Rose turned around just in time to see Shining Armor disarm Prince Blueblood.
Celestia walked forward to Prince Blueblood who was being cuffed and having a anti magic ring placed on his horn and sadly said,“Prince Blueblood for attempting to murder a fellow royal who is also High Princess I am sadly forced to sentence you to death.”
Rose said, “Wait just a moment grandmother. I have something to say to everypony. I also don’t want anypony to die.”
Rose looked out to everypony and said, “I know most everypony here thinks what he did is unforgivable. However I believe that everypony has a chance to change who they are. So I propose that Prince Blueblood is to be stripped of his title, all but a hundred bits and all his land. What say you fellow royals?”
Everypony said in unison,“We the royals of Equestria agree with your decision. We honestly don’t want to see anypony die.”
Rose turned to Gleaming Shield and said,“Miss Gleaming Shield can you please escort Mister Blueblood to his home so he can pack his clothes, paperwork and give him a hundred bits? After you give him the bits have two guards watch the house for a month to ensure he doesn’t come back.”
Gleaming bowed to Rose and said,”As you wish High Princess.” Once Gleaming finished talking she escorted Blueblood out of the room.
As soon as the doors closed Celestia said,“Now that that is out of the way let’s continue. I hereby crown thee High Princess. Congratulations my granddaughter. I am so proud of you.” Once Celestia finished talking she placed the crown on Rose’s head as everypony yelled their approval.
An hour later Rose and the gang were on their way home when Rarity said,“I can’t believe that Blueblood tried to murder you darling. Which reminds me how did all the royals know he was going to try to kill you?”
“If I ever see that no good piece of horse manure I’ll make him regret it. However I am happy you didn’t have him killed,” Rainbow Dash said.
Rose not being able to hide the truth from her closest friends after casting a sound proof spell said,“Everypony the truth is early this morning Celestia got a letter from somepony claiming to be the new leader. Basicly the letter said unless they canceled my coronation and banished me from Equestria they would kill me, Twilight, my mother, and my brother. I was about to say I would leave Equestria to keep my friends and family safe when Twilight came up with the plan.”
Rose waited a minute to let everypony calm down. Once they were Rose continued,“You see the plan was for all the royal family to keep an eye out for anything strange. So before we left the room my TwiTwi cast a telepathy spell on us all so we could notify the others. However I went an extra step and cast a enhanced hearing spell on myself. I only did that so I could react in time. It was Celestia who recognized the symbol and figured out it was Blueblood. Does anypony have any questions?”
Everypony shook their head no as the train pulled into ponyville. Once the train stopped everypony went their separate ways. Everypony except for Rose and Twilight who walked to Twilight’s castle.
Rose noticed that Twilight was deep in thought with a worried look. As they neared the castle Rose asked,“ What’s wrong TwiTwi?”
Twilight turned to Rose. “Rose, you know I love you with all my heart. I was wondering if you would like to move in with me?”
Rose was so happy she shrieked in joy and after calming down said,“ Yes, yes, yes and yes. I would love to move in with you. I’ll give my house to Spike so he can have his own place. I’ll see you tomorrow my love.”
The next morning Rose woke up to a knock at the door. After getting dressed she went downstairs to answer the door. When rose opened the door she was shocked to see all her friends standing there.
Rose looked at everypony and said,“Hey everypony. How are you and I’m sorry for my language but what the buck are you doing here so early?”
Rarity was the first to speak. “Well darling we are here to help you move. We knew Twilight was going to ask you to move in with her and since we know you so well we knew you were going to say yes. We all agreed to come help you move. By the way what are you going to do with the house?”
Rose said,“Well I want to keep it in the family so i decided to give it to Spike. That way Spike can have his own place to live in case he gets a marefriend. By the way, Rarity, did you know Spike is in love with Sweetie Belle?”
Rarity was stunned by this news and said,“ No, I wasn’t aware of his feelings. But I do know that Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are dating. They were trying to keep it secret, but it wasn’t working.”
Rose was glad to hear about Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
Rose got serious again. “Well anyway it’s time to get to moving. After we are done I’ll take us all out to the spa as my thanks.”
Over the next four hours Rose and the gang had moved everything into the castle. As Rose and Applejack finished laying the bed down Spike came in and said,“ Hi Rose.Twilight said you had something important to ask me. So I came right away.”
Rose turned to Spike and said,“ Yes there is Spike. I was wondering if you would like a house of your own. You see since I’m going to be living here now I have no use for my house. However I want to keep it in the family so I decided to give it to you.”
Spike’s tail twitched like a puppy who was just given a big juicy bone. “I was planning to move out someday anyway. So I’ll accept this most awesome gift. Thank you mom. Sorry I didn’t mean to call you that, Rose.”
Rose just chuckled and said,“It’s fine son. We may not be related biologically but I have always seen you as my son. The title for the house is already signed over and is in the Ponyville Bank. So enjoy. The girls and I will see you later.”
With those final words everypony went to enjoy the spa. Once they were done they all went home to their families. As Rose was heading home she saw the most beautiful sunset ever. Upon seeing the sunset Rose knew this was the true beginning of her life.
The next morning at eleven Rose entered Carousel Boutique for her appointment for her dress to the gala. Rose, upon seeing that Rarity was putting the final touches on a customer's dress sat down in the waiting room and started to read.
“Hello, Rose. I see you are doing well. Anyways let’s get down to business. What kind of gala dress would you like?”asked Rarity.
“Well Rarity firstly I would like the dress to be eye catching but not overly so. Second I would like it to compliment Twilight’s dress. Thirdly it must have secret pocket that I can easily access without anypony knowing. Finally I would like it to be floor length without the possibility for it to trip me. There is only one design I would love and that is my cutie mark and Twilight’s cutie mark to be interlocked. Other than that it is up to you,”answered Rose.
“I’m assuming the pocket is to hide the ring? However what I find most delightful is that both you and Twilight have requested the same design.” Rarity chuckled.
Rose was surprised to hear that Twilight, the love of her life, had also requested the same design. Rose looked at Rarity and saw that she was talking to her. Rose shook her head so she could focus.
“What did you say Rarity?” Rose rubbed her forehead.
“Well what I said is I need you too stand on the dais I have setup for measuring. Once you are up there I need you to stand perfectly still so I can get your measurements. After I have your measurements you may go. However I do need you to come back in two weeks for a final check.” Rarity lead Rose to the dais.
“Well I have all the measurements I need. You may go now Rose. just remember to be here for the final check in two weeks,” Rarity said, after fifteen minutes.
“I promise I will be here at eleven in two weeks for the final check. I hope you have a wonderful day,”said Rose before she left the shop.
Over the next two weeks Rose went about her day. She sat in on a royal meeting with Twilight. She helped the Cutie Mark Crusaders fix their clubhouse. She even went to Sweet Apple Acres and helped the Apple family with their harvest.
Finally the day arrived when she would have her final fit for her dress to the gala. Rose was so excited she didn’t realize that it was ten when she entered the Carousel Boutique. The moment she entered the boutique she saw Twilight wearing a beautiful purple silk dress. The dress was floor length but not overly so. It also had diamonds embedded in the design.
“Wow Twilight you look absolutely gorgeous in that dress. It suits your personality. By the way I haven’t officially asked you yet but would you do me the extraordinary honor of being my date to the gala. I promise you will never regret it,”said Rose.
“Rose what are you doing here? I thought you were at home. I’m glad you like the dress. However I wanted it to be a surprise,”said Twilight.
“Twilight I’m sorry I ruined the surprise. As for what I am doing here, I am here for my final fit. Twilight since i saw you in your gala dress it is only fair you see me in mine,”said Rose as Rarity finished the final touches on Twilight’s dress.
“Is my dress in the fitting room Rarity? I would love to try it on,” Rose asked after getting a nod from Twilight.
“But of course darling. It is in the dressing room waiting for you. I hope it is to your satisfaction,” Rarity answered, putting Twilight's dress in a garment bag.
Rose went into the dressing room and saw a gold silk dress with sapphires sewn into the design. Rose put the dress on and went out to see Twilight.
“Rose that dress looks perfect on you. The gold brings out your coat nicely. I’m surprised about the design. It’s the same one as on mine but with sapphires,”said Twilight, shocked.
“Rose can I speak to you in private for a second?” Rarity asked.
“Of course Rarity,”said Rose, following Rarity into the hall.
“I asked to talk to you in private so I could tell you where the secret pocket is. The pocket is on the right forehoof. To access it you have to power up your horn. Once you do it will appear. I used a complicated crafting spell to do it,” explained Rarity, once they were alone.
“I understand Rarity. Thank you so much for doing this,”said Rose, giving Rarity a hug as they returned to the fitting room.
After that Rose and Twilight went home. As soon as they got home Rose made dinner for Twilight. As dinner came to an end both of them decided to call it a night.
Before Rose and Twilight knew it it was the day of the gala. Rose was in her dress and ready to go. However she was nervous.
“Okay Rose. Today is the day you ask Twilight to marry you. So calm down and mare up already,” said Rose, looking at herself in the mirror.
Rose jumped as she heard a knock on the door. Rose looked at the door and saw Spike come in with a knowing look on his face.
“Hey Spike. How are you? Are you ready for the gala?” Rose asked..
“Rose, I know you are planning to ask Twilight to marry you. I know because I can see the love in your eyes. I also know you are nervous. Just know that Twilight loves you and I know she will say yes,” said Spike.
“Thank you Spike. By the way do you have a date?” asked Rose. with a smile.
“As a matter of fact I do. I asked Sweetie Belle if she would like to go on a date and she said yes. This is our third date. By the way it is time to go,”answered Spike, blushing.
Rose and Spike went out of the castle to see a horse drawn carriage. Rose feeling bad for the four stallions pulling the carriage walked up to them.
“I thank you kind sirs for taking me and my friends to the gala. I hope you accept these bits in thanks,”said Rose, handing over four hundred bits.
“Thank you for the bits. However there was no need to pay us. We are lucky enough to meet you,” said the lead pony, taking the bits and separating them out to the other three.
Three hours later Rose and the group of friends arrived at the gala. Once the carriage stopped everypony filed out.
“Everypony I have a special announcement to make to you all at eight. By then the gala will be in full swing and the perfect time,”said Rose, as everypony nodded while presenting their tickets.
Everypony went their separate ways till later. Pinkie Pie took to the dance floor. Applejack went to get something to eat. Rarity was talking to some of the nobles about business. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were outside with the animals. Meanwhile Twilight went to spend time with her family. Rose went to keep her grandmother company while meeting the nobles.
Everypony was having so much fun when Rose noticed it was five to eight. Rose deciding to talk to the band that was playing walked over to the leader of the band.
“Miss Coloratura I was hoping I could have you stop playing so I can make an announcement. It is a very important announcement. Do you mind?” asked Rose.
“For a friend of my dearest friend Applejack of course. It doesn’t hurt that you are the High Princess either,”answered Coloratura, stopping the music and giving the microphone to Rose.
“Thank you. This is More important than you know,”said Rose, taking the microphone and walking onto the stage.
Rose and Twilight nodded to Gleaming and hurried to the throne room. As they entered the throne room they noticed that Celestia and Luna were worried.
Celestia was the first to speak, “I know what you want to ask Twilight. However that will have to wait until after you follow us.”
Celestia upon finishing her speech cast a spell on the throne room floor. Once the spell was cast the floor shined brighter than the sun and all four princesses phased through the floor. Everypony except Twilight knew what was going on as they landed softly on a gorgeous ornate statued hallway.
Twilight was scared and trying not to panic asked, “Wh-Wh Where are we? I didn’t know this was here.”
Luna looked at Twilight and said, “My dear Twilight. There is no need to be scared. This place is sacred. Only Celestia, Cadance, Emerald, Rose, and myself know about this place. We wanted to tell you about this place but we couldn’t. For there is a spell on this place that forbids revealing it to any pony outside the Galaxia family. This place is called The Hall of Heritage and Immortality.”
Twilight’s eyes widened in shock as she said, “Celestia, Luna, and Rose, though I have never been here I know of this place. You see, a couple years ago I acquired Starswirl’s personal diary. It had all these stories in it. However I could only ever read one of them. It explained this place but not its location since this is suppose to be a secret I will personally deliver it to you.”
Celestia looked at Twilight with a confused look and said, “You came across Starswirl's diary. Are you sure you could read it?”
Twilight having never seen Celestia like this answered, “Of course I am Celestia. I examined the hoof writing myself. Why, what’s wrong?”
Celestia looking relieved said, “Twilight, Starswirl only had one diary. He enchanted it so that only one pony could read it. Anyways enough of that. About your request for a wedding in the dream realm I approve. But you must know that after you are married in the Astral Plane you cannot fall out of love with the one you married. As for the reason I’ll let Luna explain.”
Luna stepped forward and calmly said, “The reason you won’t be able to fall out of love is because once you marry in the Astral Planes the love between you will be amplified. If you do some how fall out of love you will be killed painfully by a curse. That is why if you marry you mustn’t fall out of love.”
Twilight knowing her love for Rose is infinite walked over to Rose and after giving her a wing hug said, “Luna, I accept the danger. For I know my love for Rose is infinite.”
Celestia proudly said, “I am so proud of you, Twilight. By the way, have you tried to read that diary recently? I only ask because now that you are marrying into the family you should know that I had one other daughter. She was born a unicorn and she was my protege before you. However she left under some not so good terms. Her name was Sunset Shimmer and she left to another world through a portal. I just hope one day she will return and we can be a family.”
Rose shocked at this information said, “ Grandmother, are you saying that I have an aunt that is a little older than me? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
Celestia with tears in her eyes said, “My dearest granddaughter yes you have an aunt. However there is a reason I didn’t tell you. The reason is that at first I thought she was the one to save Luna. However as it turned out I was wrong. I didn’t push her away but I didn’t stop her either. The truth is I always believed in her and I still do. I wanted to tell her she was my daughter. However she ran through the portal before I could tell her. By the way I know you are wondering why we can't lie in here and the reason is because of an ancient enchantment.”
Everypony followed Celestia down through the hall. As they neared the end Twilight saw a door of solid diamond blocking the way she looked at Celestia with confusion and asked,“What’s on the other side Celestia?”
Celestia looked at Twilight and said, “That Twilight is the way we make you truly immortal. You see even though you became an alicorn you still age. It’s just way way slower than others. Once we pass through you will see the true price of immortality.”

Celestia touched her horn to the diamond. The moment her horn touched the diamond it moved aside. Once the diamond was out of the way Celestia lead the group into the room.
Twilight upon entering the room gasped. There in the middle of the room was a crystal table piled high with all sorts of meat.
Luna seeing the look on Twilight’s face said, “Twilight, for us to be immortal once a year on the day of the Grand Galloping Gala we must meet here to eat meat. Every immortal does this, even Cadance. She did hers during the gala this year. I know it will seem evil, but it is the only way.”
Twilight seeing for the first time the true price of immortality looked at every pony and said,“I understand now why you keep this a secret. It disgusts me to eat meat. However there is something that disgusts me even more. That would be the thought of me dieing. So I accept these consequences for I can not bear to leave Rose without her true love.”
Celestia smiling proudly said,“In that case welcome to the family Twilight Sparkle Galaxia. I’m so proud of all the choices you made.”
As every pony sat down to eat Emerald camewalking through the door. However she stoped short upon seeing Twilight there.
Emerald looked to Celestia and said,“Mother, what is Twilight doing here? I thought this was supposed to be secret. But you risk it by inviting my daughter's fiancee. What are you thinking?”
Celestia, Luna, Rose, and Twilight looked up to see Emerald more angry than ever. Luna took a deep breath and said,“Emerald, earlier tonight Twilight asked me to marry her and Rose in the Astral Planes. After that Celestia and I had no choice but to explain everything to her. Once we finished explaining everything she still wanted to marry Rose. I have never seen in all my years a stronger love. So to prevent Rose from eventually having to bury Twilight when she died we revealed the true price of immortality.”
Luna paused to take a breath before she continued,”Anyway once we revealed the truth she said and I quote, ‘It disgusts me to eat meat. However there is something that disgusts me even more. That would be the thought of me dieing. So I accept these consequences for I can not bear to leave Rose without her true love.’ After that we sat down to eat when you arrived.”
Emerald after hearing what happened said,“Well in that case I am sorry for my attitude. Welcome to the family, Twilight. May you forever be happy.”
Twilight got up and gave Emerald a hug and said,“Emerald, thank you for accepting me into the family. You have no idea what this means to me.”
As twilight took her seat everypony started to eat. After Twilight took her first bite of meat she gasped.
Everypony upon hearing the gasp looked at Twilight while Rose said,“Twilight, what’s wrong?”
Twilight said,“Rose, it turns out that I love the taste of meat. I’m shocked because it tastes like heaven. I thought it would be disgusting.”
Everypony but Twilight laughed while Celestia said,“Twilight, meat is like any other food. It can taste good or bad based on how it is cooked. What you just ate is called a bacon cheeseburger. It is seasoned cow but not the sentient ones you know of.”
Twilight looked at all the different meat and asked,“Celestia, what would happen if we ate meat outside of the day of the gala?”
Luna solemnly answered,“Twilight, it is of the utmost importance that you understand what I’m about to say. There were two immortals who tried to eat meat outside of today. They were are parents. However when they took a bite of meat outside of today they tried to eat each other. It was a miracle Celestia and I were able to stop them.”
Celestia noticing the tears in her sister's eyes said,“Luna, I’ll finish the story.”
After receiving a nod Celestia said,“We were able to stop them from eating everypony, but at a terrible price. You see to save everypony we turned our parents into the diamond door you saw. We were young at the time, but powerful. We were even younger than you are now and to save the world we cast a forbidden spell. Luna and I made sure to erase the knowledge of this place and the spell from existence. The only ones able to remember are the other immortals.”
Twilight looked at Celestia and said,”Wow, talk about a dark family history. Celestia and Luna I’m sorry for your loss.”
Luna having stopped crying said,“Thank you,Twilight. However there is no need to feel sorry. After all it happened two thousand years ago.”
Twilight understanding their wishes droped the subject. Over the next half hour everypony ate, chatted and had fun.
As the night drew to a close everypony said their goodbyes while Luna said,“Twilight, and Rose tonight I shall come to get you in your dreams. I will take you to the Astral Planes where I will marry you. Congratulations to you both.”
Once Luna was finished Rose cast a teleportation spell on her and Twilight taking them home. Rose and Twilight exhausted from the day hurried to bed. Ten minutes later found Rose and Twilight standing in front of luna in the Astral Planes.
Luna looking proud said,“Do you Rose take Twilight to be your mare? To love and to hold. In sickness and in health. Til death do you part.”
Rose standing straight and proud said,“ I do. For as the sun can’t rise by itself neither can I live without her.”
Luna the turned to Twilight and said,“Twilight, do you take Rose to be your mare? For better or worse. For all eternity.”
Twilight shyly said,“I do. For as I can’t live without air neither can I live without her.”
Luna looked at both of them and said,“Then as Princess of the night and ruler of the Astral Planes I now pronounce you mare and mare. You may kiss the bride.”
The moment Luna finished Rose and Twilight kissed sealing their love for all time. With her task complete Luna went on her way.
The next morning Rose and Twilight woke up feeling completely at peace. Rose looked at Twilight and said,“Would my mare like breakfast in bed?”
Twilight giggled. “It would be lovely to eat thine breakfast in bed my love.”
Rose said,“As you wish my love. I shall return post haste with thine breakfast.”
Twilight said,“Then I shall wait for thine return.”
Rose bowed to Twilight and left. Fifteen minutes later Rose returned with two of each. A stack of pancakes, waffles, coffee and a pitcher of fresh apple juice. Rose used her magic to open the door to the bedroom. Upon entering Rose said,“Thy breakfast is served my queen.”
Twilight said,“Thank you Rose. This breakfast is perfect as are you.”
Rose blushed. Rose did the calming exercise her mother taught her and said,“Thank you, Twilight for that compliment. Anyways once we are finished with breakfast we need to talk to the Cutie Mark Crusaders and their sisters about them being our flower girls at the wedding. Then there is the cake and the food. We can’t forget the invitations too.”
Twilight placed a hoof on Rose’s forehoof and said,“Rose, calm down ther is plenty of time. However you’re right. The sooner we get it planned the better. Just so you know I wouldn’t mind just getting the paperwork signed.”
Rose gasped and said,“Twilight, we can’t do that to our family and friends. After all our mothers are looking forward to the wedding.”
Twilight nodded and began to eat her breakfast. An hour later found Rose and Twilight walking up to Applejack’s house.
Twilight knocked on the door and waited. When the door opened Twilight saw Applejack standing there. Twilight looked at her and said,“Applejack, are Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom here?”
Applejack smiled and said,“Of course they are. So are Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Why? Is something wrong?”
Rose looked at Applejack and said,“No nothing is wrong. We just have a favor to ask of you all. That includes Rarity and Rainbow Dash.”
Applejack nodded and lead them to the dining room. Once there she asked,“Okay what’s the favor?”
Twilight proudly said,“Rose and I would like the Cutie Mark Crusaders to be our flower girls at the wedding. Is that alright?”
Rarity and the others said,“Of course it is. Only if they want to. However seeing how happy they are that would be a yes.”
Once they finished taking they all gathered in a group hug. Meanwhile Rose thought this is a true family.
Wedding Day Unedited til thursday
With the flower girls decided Rose and Twilight went to see Pinkie Pie along with Mr. and Mrs. Cake about the cake for the wedding. When they arrived at Sugarcube Corner they saw Pinkie Pie standing outside with a smile a mile wide on her face as she bounced up and down.
Twilight looked at Pinkie Pie and said ”Pinkie, Rose and I are here to discuss the cake and pre-wedding party. We would like the cake to have fifty different flavors and for it to be twice as tall as Celestia. Just know that the party can’t last longer than 10 pm. Because Rose and I will need our rest for the wedding.Finally, do to an ancient Equestrian law for any royal to get married the ponies must not see their fiancee for forty-eight hours prior to the wedding. This is done so that any love spells can expire.”
Pinkie’s hair deflates a little as she said “That means I can’t do just one bachelorette party. Darn it.”
Rose knowing just how to cheer Pinkie up said “your right Pinkie. You get to throw not one but two parties. You see there is good news.”
Pinkie Pie upon hearing the news cheered up and said “You're right Rose. Thank you for pointing that out.”
“No problem Pinkie. After all, I consider you and the girls as my sisters. Especially Applejack. If it wasn’t for her I would’ve died when my dad stabbed me. I don’t know how I’ll ever repay her for all she has done.” said Rose looking at her wife to be.
Over the next four months, everypony was busy planning the wedding. Finally, it was three days before the wedding. Rose and Twilight separate to go spend time with their families. Rose went to Celestia and Luna to talk about the future and to learn about her grandfather.
Twilight went to her parent’s house for her party planned by Pinkie Pie. As she entered the house she saw Pinkie had gone all out. Along one side of the house was a dance floor with DJ pon3 playing her music while ponies danced. On the other side was all her favorite foods. While in another room was all types of games. Over the course of the night, Twilight came to realize that she couldn’t wait for the wedding.
The next day it was Rose’s turn for her party. Rose’s party was similar to Twilight’s. The only difference was that light classical music was being played by Octavia. The food was provided by the Apple family. Rose like Twilight also came to realize that she too couldn’t wait for the following day. Rose awoke the next day to hear a knock at the door. She opens the door to see Rarity standing there with a brush, her wedding dress and Aloe and Vera the two top spa ponies of Ponyville.
Rose let’s the two spa ponies and Rarity in. Over the next two hours Rose had her hooves buffed and polished with a light pink hoof polish, her mane washed and styled and after a light brunch put on her dress. The dress is a light pink silk with a dark purple trim at the edge. It also had Twilight’s cutie mark over her heart. Once she had her dress on she saw Celestia come through the door.
Celestia looked at Rose and crying said “Rose, you look absolutely gorgeous. I brought you something to wear during the wedding.” Celestia used her magic to pull out an ancient crown with sapphires built in. she hoofed it to Rose and said “This belonged to my mother. She wore it to her wedding as did I and your mother. Now it is your turn, my granddaughter.”
Rarity takes the crown and places it just right on Rose’s head and the connected the wedding veil to it.Once they were in place she takes a look at her handiwork and said “Now you look perfect Morning Rose. I have to go get Twilight ready but I’ll see you later.” with everything said Rarity heads out to the other side of the castle.
Twilight was in her room at the castle having a minor panic attack. When she heard a knock on the door she stopped breathing and squeaked out “Come in.” When the door opened she saw Rarity and began to calm down. Behind Rarity were Aloe and Vera. Upon seeing Rarity Twilight said, “ I assume it’s time Rarity.”
Rarity smiled and said “For you to get ready it is darling. The actual ceremony is in three hours. Rose is already ready for it. I can’t tell you much about how she is doing. All I can say is she is happy to finally marry you.”
Over the next two and a half hours Twilight had her hooves buffed and polished with a dark pink hoof polish, her mane was washed and styled and finally came the dress. Twilight’s dress is a dark purple silk with a light pink trim and over her heart was Rose’s cutie mark. As soon as Twilight put the dress on she heard a knock on the door as Rarity pulled out a white veil. Twilight takes the veil and said, “Come in.”
Once Twilight spoke Cadance and Twilight’s father Night Light came in. As soon as Twilight saw them she said “Cadance, Daddy what are you doing here?”
Cadance walked over to Twilight and said “ First off I am here to give you this sapphire necklace to wear at the wedding. It belonged to my mother when she was married to my father and I would like you to have it. Second I am here to tell you how to cast that one spell for you to become pregnant.” With that Cadance told Twilight how to cast the spell and after handing over the necklace left.
Twilight’s father walked over to her and as the music began to play said “It is time my daughter. Are you ready for the greatest adventure of your life?”
Twilight puts the veil and necklace on and said “ I am father. I am looking forward to my future with Rose.” Twilight takes her father's hoof and walks to her wedding. Meanwhile Rose is doing the same with Luna.
As the doors open in walks Twilight on the right with Rose on the left. The moment they walked in everypony gasped at how perfect the two looked together. As Fluttershy’s songbirds sang the wedding march the CMC bounced ahead of the couple throwing Rose and Violet Petals. As soon as Rose and Twilight reach the throne Cadance said “ Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of High Princess Morning Rose and Princess of Friendship Twilight Sparkle. If anypony has a reason why these two should not be joined speak now or forever hold your piece.” After waiting a sufficient amount of time she continues “Morning Rose do you take Twilight Sparkle as your mare. To love and to hold. In sickness and in health. For richer or poorer. Til death do you part.”
Rose looking at Twilight said “I Morning Rose, do swear that I will love Twilight til death do we part. For as the sun brings light to the world. She brings the light to my life and banishes the darkness from my heart.”
Cadance smiled proudly at Rose’s response. She then turns to Twilight and said “ Do you Twilight Sparkle take Morning Rose as your mare? For richer or poorer. In sickness and in health. To love and to hold til death do you part.”
Twilight looked deep into Cadance’s eyes and said “As every animal finds it soul mate so to have I found mine. For Morning Rose is the only one who can stop the loneliness that lies within my heart and soul. So I do take Rose as my mare.”
Cadance looked out to everypony and said “Than as the Princess of love I now pronounce you Mare and Mare. you may kiss the ride and become one in both mind and soul.”
The moment Cadance finished Rose and Twilight kissed. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash created a sonic rainboom so that a rainbow appeared the moment they kissed. Twilight and Rose kissed for what seemed like an eternity but was really only a couple seconds.The moment they broke the kiss the newlywed couple took to the dance floor for the traditional first dance of the night.
While Rose and Twilight danced the owners of Sugarcube Corner brought out the wedding cake. The cake was twice as tall as Celestia and had fifty different flavors. As the music came to an end Rose and Twilight walked over to the cake.
Together Twilight and Rose took the cake knife in their magic and cut the cake together. Once the cake was dished out Twilight and rose took a piece of theirs and put it in the others. Once everypony had their fill of cake, dinner and dancing it was time for the wedding gifts. Over the next hour, Twilight and Rose opened their presents.
When all their presents were open they had acquired a quilted Apple family quilt, tickets to the wonderbolts show, a makeover voucher for their bedroom and a notice that their ride to a private castle for their honeymoon leaves in two days from their house. Those were just a few things they were given. Twilight and Rose said “Thank you everypony for these wonderful gifts and for your support of our marriage. But now let’s eat, play and enjoy this beautiful and gorgeous night that Luna has provided.”
For the next six hours, everypony enjoyed themselves. Finally, as the clock struck ten everypony headed home. Everypony except for Rose, Twilight, Cadance, Shining Armor, Twilight's parents, Rose’s brother and mother, Celestia and Luna who all went inside to have a discussion about a prophecy about Twilight and Rose’s future and the mirror in the Crystal Empire.
As soon as everypony had sat down Celestia looked at Luna and nodded. Luna, in turn, looked at Celestia and nodded signaling that it was time to reveal their future. However, they were worried about what may happen to the newlyweds.
Prophecy, Messages, And Gifts
“Rose, Twilight there is something you should know. My husband foresaw that a powerful enemy will come through the portal and attack us. The enemy will come from earth and is called Kailomar. He will absorb Luna and my magic that it will change him from a pony into a creature we have never heard of. He will have the strength of a hundred thousand bears, the speed of a thousand cheetahs, the combined intelligence of a hundred gods, the hearing of a hundred owls and the smell of a thousand dogs. His body will have the claws of a griffon, eagle wings, a unicorn horn, a snake for a tail, ears like a pony, nose of a wolf and teeth like a shark.” said Celestia taking a break.
Luna taking over said “My brother also said that both of you are the only ones to eat him. How we do not know. However, it will happen exactly three years from today at four in the afternoon. We don’t know for sure but there is a good chance you will both die. I wish Celestia and I could help but by the time you get here we will already have our magic and strength absorbed by him. Star Swirl also foresaw that you will have two two-year-old foals when you fight him. One will be a colt and the other a filly. Your colt will be jealous of his sister for he will want to be a filly. Mainly because he will never remember you and never feel comfortable as a colt. Most of his friends will be fillies. His friends will realize how he feels and will never say anything until he does. Since you both will most likely be dead there won’t be anypony capable of casting the spell you created Rose. He will be sad all his life because he will never be his true self or know his mothers.”
Twilight shocked at this revelation asked “Celestia, what are the chances we will die? We need to know so we can make the proper preparations for them. We will need to set aside sixteen years worth of bits, along with special gifts for each of them.”
Celestia with tears in her eyes answered “My dearest Twilight and Rose, I’m sorry to say that the percentage of you dying is ninety-nine percent. In other words, there is only a one percent chance you will survive. Also, Rose, there is an inheritance left by your Grandfather for you and Twilight. Or to be more precise your foals. The inheritance is a total of fifty million bits to ensure that they will have a life without worries for money. But they will only have access to it after they learn the lesson to treat others as equals and the true value of a bit.”
This time it was Rose’s turn to be shocked as she said “ In other words, Twilight and I will only have two years with our foals. Grandma why is destiny so cruel to our family.I mean your husband my Grandfather was hunted down and killed, I was almost killed by my father, my mother has had to live without knowing her heritage, my brother is going to lose his sister and Twilight and my foals will never get to meet their mothers. Do you see what I mean by cruel?”
Luna looking solemn said while handing over a rose quartz crystal “We don’t know why destiny is cruel to our family. However, I can show you how to store a spell in a gem and bind it so it lasts for twenty years and can only be used once. I can teach you this Rose and Twilight because your magic surpasses mine and Celestia’s. You can use this technique to store the gender change spell you created so that your colt could be the filly she truly is without fear. You can also use this technique to store a message for your foals. I know because your grandfather used it to leave you both a message. To begin the message say your name.”
Rose takes the stone in her hoof and said “My name is Morning Rose. I’m the granddaughter of Celestia and Starswirl the Bearded.” The moment Rose finished speaking there is a surge of magic from the stone. As the magic got stronger an image of Rose’s grandfather appeared.
The image looked right at Rose and said “Since the spell has been activated I assume my granddaughter Rose and her mare are in front of me and has just been married. Twilight, Rose, I want you to know that even though you will die fighting Kailomar your children will be taken care of by your friends. Mainly Rainbow Dash will teach them to be loyal to their friends, Applejack will raise them to be honest with others and especially to themselves, Fluttershy will show them the benefits of being kind, Rarity will teach them to always help those who need it and finally Pinkie Pie will show them how to always have fun. Even though they won’t know you your friends will take them to your graves every Sunday and tell them about you. So don’t worry about your children because their magic, when used together, is stronger than all the princesses combined including yours. Anyways that’s all I have time for. Goodbye, my granddaughter and her mare. I’ll see you on the Elysian Plains.”
As the magic faded both Twilight and Rose broke out crying. While crying Rose looked at everypony and said “Grandfather truly knew how to set our hearts at ease about leaving behind our children. I don’t know about my mare but I say we do what we can for our children. I also would like to leave the transgender spell contained and ready to be cast by our son. All he will have to do to cast the spell is wish upon the stone on his and his sisters eighth birthday.”
Twilight sobbing said “I agree with Rose. However, I also say we should leave them a private message. I also think we should leave the day of luck spell contained in the stone for our daughter. It will activate the moment she touches it on her seventh birthday. This way they both have a special spell from both of us.”
Rose nodded in agreement with Twilight as Luna said “ Okay everypony I need you to leave. What I’m going to teach Twilight and Rose is dangerous and could endanger everypony around them if it goes wrong. I’m able to protect myself but not others if it goes wrong. So please leave as soon as possible.”
Once everypony was gone Luna turned to Twilight and Rose and said “Okay you two to record a message like Star Swirl did you have to take a gem that is pure like the rose quartz crystal that was given to Rose and hold it in your magic. Let the magic build all the way till it starts to pain you slightly. Then focus on what you want them to know then release the magic. The stone will then record everything you say afterward. To store a spell you must take a diamond and cast the spell you want it to store. However, you then direct it at the diamond and set the requirements upon it so it doesn’t accidentally activate. Do you understand what you must do? If you do here are a ruby and sapphire. The ruby is for the message to your daughter and the sapphire is for your son.”
Twilight and Rose nod. They then take the sapphire and did what Luna said. As soon as it glowed Rose and Twilight knew it was recording. Rose said “My dearest son or should I say, daughter. That’s right I know you are transgender. There is no need to be afraid of these feelings for your mother Twilight and I love you for who you are. I don't have much time left for I want to let your mother talk to you. Just know that the diamond necklace that we leave you will have a spell ready to be released that will change you into a filly on your eighth birthday if you wish upon it out loud. Follow your heart and trust in your sister for your magic is stronger when it is used together. But now I‘m going to let your mother speak to you.”
Twilight stepped forward and said” Your mother Rose is right. Follow your heart and trust in your sister and our friends. I also want you to know that we will always be with you in your heart.we love you our beautiful daughter. Be happy and live a full life with your family and friends. Goodbye, my beautiful Icy Mist Rose.”
As soon as they finished speaking the magic ended. Once it was done they gave they sapphire to Luna and took the ruby from her. Once more they cast the spell. Once it was recording Twilight said “” My dearest Twilight Rose, I’m your mother Twilight Sparkle and this is your mother Morning Rose. We are recording this so you can at least see us once. I also want to say support your brother for he may be born a colt but in his heart, he is a filly. Because of this, he will need your support more than ever. Just know that even though we will die know that we love you and your brother with all our hearts.”
Rose stepped forward and said ”As your mother said family should always be there for each other.your sister will need your support. Know that we will always be with you in your heart my daughter. For though our bodies are dead our souls live on in you and your sister. Goodbye, my daughter, we love you and please live a full and happy life with family and friends.” Once she finished the recording stopped and Luna looked at them with pride in her eyes.
Luna after recovering from the pride she felt said “The messages you left for your children are absolutely perfect. Now it is time to prepare the spells for them. If you will take these diamonds and cast the spells you want them to contain. While casting the spells you must also think about the conditions you want them to have. That is all there is to it but be careful for if you lose your concentration you will die.” As Luna finished speaking she pulled out two diamond necklaces. One was a pink diamond and the other was a blue diamond.
Rose took the pink diamond necklace in her magic and drawing upon the magic she had stored cast the spell she created while thinking of the conditions for it to activate. There is a bright flash of magic and the necklace took on a slight purple hue. Rose exhausted collapses to the ground exhausted for the spell took a lot of her magic.
Twilight having seen Rose this weak once before goes over to Rose and gives her a hug while quietly checking her pulse. Once she was sure Rose was okay she took the blue diamond necklace and cast the luck for a day spell upon it. Just like with Rose’s spell there is a bright flash of magic. However, unlike Rose’s Twilight’s necklace took on a red hue making the diamond the same color as her coat. Twilight magic's both necklaces to Luna before falling asleep right next to her mare.
Rose woke up first the next morning. The first thing she did was turn to her right and saw her mare sleeping adorably by her side. Rose noticed that she and Twilight were in a bedroom so she assumed that Luna brought them here to sleep.Rose not wanting to wake up her adorable mare quietly gets out of bed and takes a shower.
Little did Rose know that Twilight was already awake. Twilight woke up at the exact same time as Rose. however Twilight pretended to be asleep so she could think about their children. As soon as Twilight heard the shower start she realized what needed to be done. Twilight got up and went to join her mare in the shower.
After a half hour in the shower, both Rose and Twilight enter their room. As they do Twilight said “Rose, I think I should cast the pregnancy spell on us. I know that will mean we can’t go on our honeymoon but I just want to spend as much time as possible with our children. What do you think my love?”
Rose after taking a deep breath said “As much as I hate to say it I agree with you. I also think we should talk to Rarity about her becoming their godmother. Should she decline to be their godmother I think the next one we should ask is Applejack.”
“I agree we should talk to Rarity. However only after I cast the spell.It's hard to believe that we will only have two years with them. I just hope they have a happy life. One free of all worries. Are you ready for the spell and to become a mother?” said Twilight looking at Rose’s eyes.
After receiving a nod from her Rose she cast the pregnancy spell. Twilight’s magic turns from a purple aura to a light pink aura indicating the spell is active. She then directs the spell at both herself and Rose. As the spell takes effect both Rose and Twilight feel a surge of magic within their bodies.
As soon as the spell ends Rose looked Twilight in the eyes and said “Thank you, my love, for making my life complete. Are you ready to go talk with Rarity and our friends about the prophecy my love.”
“Of course I am my love. After all, they are our friends and deserve to know. I just hope Rarity agrees to be their godmother. After all, they are going to need somepony to teach them how to control their unicorn magic. Yeah, we could ask Celestia to but I think Rarity will be a better fit for them. After all, she is beautiful, successful and talented.” said Twilight as they head to the train station.
Rose and Twilight talked about what would be the best way to tell their friends. After an hour and a half, they arrive at Ponyville. Rose and Twilight decided to talk to Rarity first then their other friends at the same time. After fifteen minutes they enter Carousel Beautique to find Rarity working on a new dress design. Rose steps forward and said in a worried tone of voice “Rarity, Twilight and I need to talk to you about something important and to ask you a favor.”
Rarity recognizing the worry used her magic to change the open sign to close and turn the lock on the door. Once that was done she magics out some tea and said “What’s wrong Darling. You sound like sompony is dying or something. Is there anything I can do for you to help?”
Rose after taking a deep breath said in a calm but worried tone “Rarity, after the wedding yesterday Celestia and Luna revealed a prophecy about Twilight and me. It said that in exactly three years Twilight and I would die in battle and that we would leave our two-two-year-old foals alone. This morning Twilight cast a pregnancy spell on us. We were also left a message from Starswirl the bearded calming us about leaving our colt who is a filly inside and his sister alone. The message also said that they will both be unicorns and when they use their magic together it surpasses all alicorn magic combined. That also includes our magic. So we wanted to ask you if when we die will you be their godmother? We could ask Celestia and Luna but they will be busy keeping Equestria safe. So Rarity will you be our foals godmother and raise our colt as a filly along with his sister?”
Rarity surprised at the news said in a calm tone of voice “First off congratulations on becoming mothers. Second, don’t worry about your son and daughter they will be safe with me. Thirdly I would be honored to be their godmother. Lastly, I swear if you die I will raise them to be just as friendly, noble and generous as can be. That way they will always help those in need just like their mothers.”
Twilight looked Rarity in the eyes and said in a grateful tone of voice “Thank you Rarity for everything. If it wasn’t for you and our friends Rose and I wouldn’t be together. We were also able to leave our foals a message and a special spell ready to activate if the conditions are met. Give the messages to each of them separately.the gift for our son is the gender change spell. To activate it he has to admit his feelings on his eighth birthday. For our daughter, it is a day of luck and it will activate automatically on her seventh birthday. Will you do that for us?”
After receiving a nod from Rarity they got to Sugar Cube Corner to tell the others. After two hours of talking to their friends and being told that their foals would be alright Rose and Twilight head home for some much-needed rest.
Over the next eleven months, Rose and Twilight got the nursery for their foals ready. They had help with the designs and decorating from their friends. Rose was busy snuggling with Twilight when both her and Twilight’s water broke. Rose noticing this yelled “Rarity, Spike its time. The foals are on their way. Both our waters just broke.”
Rarity and Spike came in and rushed them to the hospital. The next hour and a half were a living Tartarus of pain for the couple. While the doctors and nurses worked to deliver the foals Rarity went to get the rest of their friends. Rose was the first to deliver. As soon as the foal was delivered the doctor handed the foal to Rose and said: “ Congratulations miss Rose it’s a colt.”
Rose takes the foal and upon seeing the runes on the foals horn and seeing the pure white coat and icy blue eyes said “welcome to the world my little Icy Mist. I love you and will always love you my colt.” Rose then handed the foal to the nurse and fell asleep.
The moment Rose fell asleep Twilight finished giving birth to their daughter. As soon as the doctor handed the filly to Twilight she noticed there were unusual Runes on the fillies horn. Twilight seeing that the filly had her mane and coat but Rose’s eyes said “ Welcome to the world of Equestria my darling Twilight Rose. I love you and always will. Though one day we may part know I will always be in your heart.” she then handed the filly to a nurse and fell asleep.
When Rose woke up she looked to her right and saw Twilight was awake and nursing their daughter. Once Rose looked around a nurse brought her colt in so she could nurse him. As soon as Rose started to feed her son their friends come in.
Fluttershy being the first to speak said “Rose is this the colt you had? He is so adorable.Wait a minute I have never seen a unicorn with runes on their horn. Do you know what they mean?”
Rose looked at all her friends and said “No I don’t. As far as I know, no unicorn has ever been born like this. I’m a little worried about her but what can I do. I just know she will be happy and healthy. After all, she is my daughter and I will ensure she has a happy life.”
“That is so weird because Twilight Rose also has runes on her horn. I wonder if it is because of their destiny. After all, Starswirl said they would be important and powerful. Maybe the runes are to enhance their ability to use magic. But then again that doesn’t make sense. Once I recover I plan to look into it.” said Twilight looking at Twilight Rose.
As Twilight finished talking Celestia walked in and said “There is no reason to worry everypony. The runes on the horn have two uses. The first is to enhance their sense of being. Meanwhile the second is to signify that they are of royal blood. Rose, you were born a pegasus so you didn’t have a horn. Your mother was born an alicorn and thus had this ability. That is until I cast a spell to remove her horn for her protection. These runes are passed down in our family. Rose, you are the reason your children have the runes. There is nothing to fear though. Mainly because last week Luna and I took out the organization that was endangering our family.”
Rose lets out a breath she didn’t know she was holding when her grandmother finished talking. Rose looked Celestia in the eyes and said “Thank you, grandma. I needed to know that. By the way, would you like to see the newest members of our family? I’m sure they would like to see you.”After receiving a nod from Celestia Rose uses her magic to hoof Icy Mist Rose over as Twilight did the same with Twilight Rose.
Celestia upon seeing the two foals said “Welcome to the family little ones. I will always be here when you need me. You are family and in this world family means everything. I love you, my precious great-granddaughters.”
Over the next four days, Twilight and Rose recovered from the ordeal of birth. Their friends visited every day. Until finally they were free to head home. As soon as they got home they put their fillies to bed and started to plan for the battle they were to face in two years time. Twilight and Rose both agreed that Rose should focus on attacking while Twilight would focus on healing. Once they had a plan they contacted Celestia and Luna. Rose and Twilight knew Celestia was once known as the Goddess of Healing for her healing magic were so great she was able to save those who should have died. While Luna was once known as Bloody Midnight Rose for her attacks that claimed a lot of lives to protect Equestria three thousand years ago.
Over the next two years, Rose and Twilight trained like nopony ever has before. While at the same time taking care of their children. Finally the day they were preparing for arrived. Rose and Twilight woke up, showered and spent time with their children before dropping them off at Rarities. After saying goodbye Twilight and Rose teleport to Canterlot to face their destiny.
Upon arriving they see Kailomar standing in front of them with a smile on his face. Rose and Twilight not wanting anypony to be in danger look the creature in the eyes. Rose upon looking their enemy in the eyes said in a calm tone of voice “If you will follow us we will take you to a place where we can fight without worry.” After receiving a nod from Kailomar Rose and Twilight cast a dimensional creation spell.
Once the spell was complete all three went through the portal. Upon entering the dimension Twilight turns to Kailomar and said ”now we can fight without holding back. there is no life in this dimension so we won’t endanger others. Are you ready Kailomar?”
Kailomar looks at the two princesses and said in a deep evil tone “ Of course I am Miss Twilight Rose. I have been hiding in the darkness gaining the strength I needed to take over Equestria. Now that I am all-powerful nopony can stop me. Let’s finish this once and for all my mortal enemy the Seer. that’s right Miss Morning Rose your ability to foretell the future by the magic aura of others proves that you are the reincarnation of my ancient foe called the Seer.”
“I don’t care what you say Kailomar. I may be the reincarnation of your ancient enemy or I might not. I don’t give a bucking bit about what you think all I care about is protecting my citizens and my friends. Let’s begin the fight no more talking Kailomar.” said Rose with a glare.
Everypony separated about two hundred paces and they began the fight. Kailomar casts psychological mind destruction spell on Twilight. However, Twilight’s instincts of training with her brother caused her to cast a reflection spell bouncing the spell back at Kailomar who dissolved the spell. Kailomar was shocked that Twilight was able to reflect his spell.
Rose taking her chance to strike at Kailomar while he was shocked. Rose charged at Kailomar while casting on herself an invisibility and silencing spell. Rose was halfway to Kailomar when her spells took effect and she vanished from Kailomar’s sight and hearing. Rose having successfully vanished sneaks up behind Kailomar and casts a summoning spell to summon an ancient sword that can cut through any barriers. Once the sword appears in front of her she takes it in her magic and slashes at Kailomar’s back.
Kailomar feels an incredible pain in his back as it is cut open. He swings his claw in the air knocking Rose’s sword away and removing the spells from her causing her to become visible. Once Rose reappeared in front of him he summons his own sword. Kailomar noticing that Rose is shocked that he removed her spells takes his sword and cuts Rose’s rear hooves off. Kailomar chuckling looked Rose in the eyes and said “this is the end, my old enemy. I hope you find happiness in the next world.” as soon as he finished talking he brought his sword down to where Rose’s heart is and pushed. However, he is stopped when Twilight appears on top of Rose and takes the blow to her heart-saving Rose.
Rose not wanting to live without Twilight grabs her sword and pushed Kailomar’s blade into her piercing both her lungs. Rose used the last of her strength and swung her blade at Kailomar’s head decapitating him. With the last of her strength gone Rose teleported both her and Twilight into the palace of Canterlot before she died in peace.

The moment Rose saw Twilight dead in front of her an ancient seal on her soul unlocks and Rose casts an unknown summoning spell. Once the spell is complete standing before her is an alicorn with a blue mane with stars in it and a cutie mark that appeared to be similar to Princess Luna’s. Rose not knowing what happened looked to the pony and said “I don’t know who you are Miss or what just happened. However, I beg of you please save my wife Princess Twilight while I take out the monster who hurt her.” As soon as she finished talking Rose cast a summoning spell to summon her friends. Once her friends were there they all charge at Kailomar. Kailomar was so busy fighting Roses friends he didn’t notice when Rose snuck up behind him and cut off his head.
Rose and her friends go over to where the mysterious pony was and ask “Is she alright? Also, I don’t mean to be rude but who are you and do you know what happened.”
The mysterious pony looks over to Rose and said “ My Name is Lucky Rose and I’m Luna’s daughter from an alternate dimension. There I raised the moon in place of my mother and practiced all types of healing magic. Twilight is going to be fine. As a matter of fact, she is going to wake up right now and now that my job here is done I’m going to leave goodbye Morning Rose.” As Lucky finished speaking Twilight woke up.
Twilight noticing the battle was over removed the dimensional spell and headed home with her wife and friends. As soon as they reach their house they knew they were going to be happy forever with their children knowing they had defied destiny once and for all.

Near the beginning of Celestia and Luna’s reign over Equestria. One family shined above the rest. That family was none other than the Script family. For over a thousand years the Script family is still considered one of Canterlot’s noblest and ancientest families. Their main talent stems from the written word. Despite, the lack of traditional magic; the Script family was responsible for editing and writing powerful spells for generations. Which is why, they are one of the few pegasi allowed to attend Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. Rhyme Script was now the newest member of the Script family to attend Celestia's school. He was a young colt that just turned five; only, weeks before he was offered a scholarship.
On day one he found himself gravitate towards Princess Celestia's personal protege Twilight Sparkle. She was the only filly that recognized the best classical authors from pre-Equestrian history. It didn’t take long for the two of them to do everything together. Whether it was doing homework, or just reading together.

Twilight did everything together. Whether it was homework, or just reading together. Over the years Rhyme had realized that he was different than all the other colts and fillies.
When ever he was with the other colts he felt uncomfortable. Like he had nothing in common whenever they would ask him. If he wanted to play sports with them, he would make up an excuse because he absolutely hated sweating and getting dirty. However when he was with the fillies, he felt comfortable like he belonged. He also was jealous that they got to wear dresses, and play with dolls. Though he never showed it he wanted to be a filly. So to prevent himself from getting hurt, he cut himself off from others except for Twilight. Until one day when both Twilight and himself were 10 Twilight was sent away from Canterlot to find The Elements Of Harmony, and stop Nightmare Moon.
After two months had passed, Rhyme realized that Twilight wasn't coming back. Once Rhyme realized this, he cut himself off from everyone and from trying to make any new friends. Because he feared that one day they would end up leaving him.
As such he took to walking through the streets of Canterlot at night to clear his mind and, bury his feelings of wanting to be a filly. The reason he chose to walk at night was because he enjoyed the light of the moon, because there weren't many ponies out.
One night about six months after Twilight had left. He was on one of his nightly walks when he felt that this night was going to be special. On this particular night as he walked through the streets of canterlot. He thought about how he always got along better with fillies, other than the colts.
The more he thought about it, the more he realized that he was more like the fillies even with his looks. Rhyme was a Black Pegasus with a yellow mane, and Sky blue eyes. He had always liked his mane long, and curly. But his parent's didn't like it that way. So to keep ponies from talking he kept it short. As Rhyme was walking through the streets he came across an abandoned pink dress, that looked like it would fit him. It even had holes in the back for his wings.
Staring at the dress he came to the realization that he was never truly happy. He hated being a colt, and stallion. He couldn't look at himself in the mirror without wanting to kill himself to escape the pain. When ever he had to go to the bathroom, he would be disgusted with himself. It was then as he picked up the dress, and ran home. That he knew deep in his heart that he has always wanted to be a filly and one day a mare.
The Surprise Party Part 1
Rose told Twilight what she saw in her vision as she once again checked out of the hospital.
Once Rose finished telling Twilight about the vision Twilight says with hope and worry "Rose, you do realize that if you successfully create and cast the spell for changing ones gender to match their true souls gender you will most likely become an alicorn. Are you okay with that? I mean yeah your already immortal but are you sure you are ready to become a princess?"
Rose shocked that Twilight even had to ask takes Twilight's head in her hooves looks her deeo in the eyes and says in a strong and determined voice "Twilight Sparkle i am shocked you even had to ask. Yes i am scared and nervous. However with you by my side i feel like we can do anything. As you know i have always been one who speaks her mind no matter the consequences. You on the other hand are the only one who can keep me in check. Just like i am the only one who can keep you from locking yourself in your house studying. Twilight i love you and if you believe in me i know i can do it. So do you believe in me my love? By the way you were always a princess in my eyes."
Twilight upon hearing Rose's response says "Rose I have always loved you and believed in you and i shall continue to believe in you.As the sun rises and sets you are the light of my life and shall remain so for all eternity. even if we are apart know that you are always on my mind. just like thorns are on a pink rose."
Rose giggling turns to Twilight and says "Oh my Twilight. I didn't know you were such a great poet."
Twilight turned a dark pink from embarrassment and says" Rose i could only write a poem like that because I am with you my love. Should you ever need me i will be there. Just like i know you will always be there for me."
Rose turning serious gives Twilight a kiss on the cheek and then nervously asks "Twilight my love would you like to go on a date tomorrow night say five o clock?"
Twilight becomes as happy as a filly on Hearths Warming Day and answers Rose "I would be so happy to my lovely Rose. Do you want to pick me up or shall i pick you up?"
Rose trying to hide a grin and failing says "Why you silly mare. Of course I will be picking you up. After all you are the one i love with all my soul. I cannot live with out you my just as plants can't live with out the sun my love."
Twilight deciding to play a small joke on rose says " Aww mare. That means you are going to be the lead in the relationship."
Rose shocked that the one she loved would think that hurriedly says " Oh no my love. That's not what i meant at all."
Twilight unable to help herself burst out laughing.
Rose finally catching on to what Twilight did says as they approach her house "you know that wasn't nice my love. I was worried i had hurt your feelings. By the way welcome to my home my love. I hope one day you and i can live together happily."
"Me too my love. However for right now how about you show me your house?"says Twilight knowing that Pinkie Pie is on the other side.
Rose having forgotten that she asked Pinkie to throw her a party says "Okay my love. For you i will. Just keep in mind that i haven't done anything in the house yet."
As Rose entered her house the lights turned on and standing in front of her was the entire town."
Rose saw Pinkie Pie standing in the front with a smile on her face.
As Rose was about to ask what was going on Pinkie Pie excitedly says " Happy House Warming/Cutecenarra/Immortality/ Marefriend/Birthday Party Rose."
“May I have everypony’s attention. As I’m sure everypony knows me and Princess Twilight have been dating for about three month’s. About a month ago i moved in with Twilight. Twilight would you please join me on stage,” said Rose, into the microphone.
Twilight curious about why Rose wanted her to join her on stage nervously walked onto the stage. Twilight noticed everypony was staring at her. However she noticed that Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and all her family had a knowing look on their faces. As Twilight approached Rose she saw Rose get down on one hoof and look at her.
“Twilight, I have a very special poem I wrote just for you. I hope you like it.
As Celestia raise the sun And Luna raises the moon I know our love will always be true
Though one day we may part Know your the bearer of my heart
I love thee Will you marry me
I hope you might My lovely Twilight,” said Rose, taking out an engagement ring made by her grandfather.
Everypony in the room was shocked. Everypony except for Twilight’s friends and family that was. They were watching with anxious looks in their eyes.
“My dear Rose, I have loved thee since the first day I saw you. When I saw you it was like a rose sprouting in the deserts. So my answer to thou art yes. I will marry you. That is if our family and friends agree. Though I have a feeling they knew about this,” said Twilight, Rose placed the ring on her horn.
As soon as Rose placed the ring on Twilight’s horn, everypony cheered while Cadance, Luna, and Celestia descended.
“Welcome to the family Twilight. Though you are great at magic please protect my granddaughter,” said Celestia, giving Twilight a hug.
“I agree with Celestia. I wish you both a happy life together,” said Luna, giving Twilight a wing hug.
“I knew you were going to find your true love sister. I have known since i first saw you and Rose as fillies. The love I feel between the two of you is stronger than the love between me and Shining Armor. Finally when you both decide the time is right for foals come see me. I know a spell that will make you both pregnant however that is only when you are ready. Like say on the honeymoon so come see me the night before the wedding and I will give you the spell,” said Cadance, with a smile.
Rose turned to everypony and said, “Everypony I thank you for your time. However now is the time to party. Pinkie Pie would you please start the music?”
Pinkie Pie upon hearing the request jumped into a tree and came out with, Vinyl Scratch, who started to mix it up.
Rose took her fiance's hoof and lead her onto the dance floor. While they danced the colors of Twilight’s dress and Rose’s dress merged together to make a sunset. While they danced Rose looked at Twilight and said, “Twilight, tonight you have made me the happiest mare in all Equestria. Do you know how you made me the happiest mare?”
After a shake from Twilight Rose continued, “You, Twilight Sparkle, have always meant the world to me. You protected me when I needed you and you have always cheered me up when I was sad. Tonight I was afraid you would say no to my proposal. However you said yes setting all my fears to rest. What I’m saying is you saying yes has made me happier than I have ever been.”
Twilight looked Rose in the eyes and said, “ have dreamed of marrying you since I first met you. Actually to be honest I was planning to propose to you next month if you didn’t propose to me by tomorrow at midnight! I mean no offense, but you aren’t exactly the most clear headed when it comes to stuff like this. However, I am equally happy that you asked me to marry you.”
After Twilight was done talking everypony danced the night away. That is until Celestia ended the gala at ten. Once Rose and the gang were in their carriage heading home Rose looked at everypony and said, “Pinkie Pie I would be honored if you planned the pre wedding party. Applejack do you think you can handle the reception after the wedding? Fluttershy could you work with some doves to have them drop rose petals as we say I do, along with some songbirds to sing here comes the bride? Rainbow Dash I was hoping you could work on the weather to make sure it is absolutely perfect. Finally Rarity I am leaving you with two responsibilities. The first is the wedding dresses. The second is if you would be my mare of honor. I need to ask him but I’m hoping Shining Armor will be my best stallion. So what do you all say?”
All Rose’s friends looked shocked but after a few minutes of deliberation Rarity said, “If that is what you and Twilight desire with all your heart then we accept this great honor. By the way, congratulations.”
“Twilight before we return home do you mind if we stop by your parent’s house. I know Shining Armor and Cadance are there. I also now you want to ask cadance to be your mare of honor and my brother to be your best stallion,” said Rose, smiling bigger than ever before.
Twilight surprised that Rose knew who she wanted as her mare of honor and best stallion looked Rose deep in her eyes and said, “I’m surprised you know who I wanted Rose. Also, yes we may stop. Just the two of us via teleportation. Are you ready my love?”
Rose nodded as Twilight cast a teleportation spell on the two princesses. After a flash of magic Rose and Twilight stood in front of Twilight’s parents house. As Rose went to knock on the door it opened. Once the door was open there in the doorway stood Shining Armor, Cadance, and Slant Script.
The moment Rose saw Shining Armor she said, “Shining Armor I have a favor to ask you. Will you be my best stallion at the wedding?”
Shining looked Rose in the eyes and said, “My dearest Rose if it is your heart's desire to have me as your best stallion then I accept. I never thought my sister would ever marry. So, thank you for this great honor.”
Twilight looked at Cadance and Slant and said, “My lovely sister Cadance. I would be honored if you would be my mare of honor. As for you Slant, I was hoping you would be my best stallion. So what do you say?”
Cadance was the first to speak, “Why Twilight I would be so very honored to be your mare of honor. I’m glad you finally found your true love little sister.”
Slant asked, “I mean no disrespect Twilight but I must know, why would you want me as your best stallion? I mean, we hardly know each other.”
Twilight looked amused. “Slant I chose you for two reasons. The first is you are about to become my brother in law. The second is because you helped Rose realize who she truly is on the inside. If it wasn’t for you Rose and I wouldn’t be together. So what do you say?”
Slant accepting Twilight’s answer said, “In that case I would be greatly honored to be your best stallion. By the way do you know who you want as your flower girls?”
Rose decided to step in and said, “Actually I do. I was thinking of having the Cutie Mark Crusaders be the flower girls.”
Twilight looked at Rose with surprise and said, ”I’m surprised Rose. For I was thinking the same thing. I think the CMC would make the cutest flower girls. However we can discuss that tomorrow, for now let’s go on an engagement date.”
Rose after nodding yes to Twilight, Shining Armor, Cadance, and Slant, before following after Twilight.
Once they were far enough away Twilight said, “Rose, since Cadance will be busy during the wedding I think we should have Celestia marry us in this realm. I say this realm because there is another. Princess Luna is in charge of the dream realm and in case something happens to one of us I think we should get married tonight by Luna. What do you say my love?”
Rose was shocked to hear that Twilight knew about the dream realm. Rose looked around and saw many ponies. Rose lead Twilight into the closest ally and said, “Twilight it is best that you not say that out loud. Don’t get me wrong, I agree with your idea. However, it is too risky to talk about it here. We will talk about it with Celestia and Luna. Is that alright with you?”
After receiving a nod from Twilight Rose sent a telepathic message to Celestia and Luna. When they responded that they would be ready Rose and Twilight hurried to the castle.
As they approached the castle Gleaming Shield said, “The Princesses are waiting for you in the throne room. They have also ordered the castle on complete lock down until you are done.”
