Nightmare: Volume 1

Yes, this is not a chapter, but a very important author's note.

I'm sorry everyone, but "Nightmare" as it currently stands will not be continued. I want the story to be written the best way it can be from me, but believe as it stands it does not fulfil peoples expectations. Therefore I am re-planning the story.

I believe the story's lack of popularity is at least in part due to its heavy leanings on Hellsing. Along with that, I simply do not enjoy the story as it currently is. Writing it is more of a job now, and it is always my main goal to have fun when writing :)

While the new version will not leave its Hellsing undertones entirely, it will rely less on it. Rather that drawing direct references from the anime and manga, I will be focusing on creating a similar feel, from the story to the characters.

Currently I am working with TheForeman (personally I believe him to be a truly talented editor, with a real gift for storytelling), and will have the new version ready as soon as possible. I will be posting a final update chapter linking to the new version of the story once we have it out.
