Rusk, a changeling who would do anything to support the hive, has reached his Assessment. Changelings have never failed the Assessment - or they were very uncommon. Failing the assessment is the single worst thing to happen to a changeling. They can be exiled from the hive or worse.

Rusk may pass his but when one of his best friends fails and gets pulled away, he decides to follow her out, into the unknown world of wild Equestria. He may have expected a little backlash, but he was not expecting the hive to be chasing after him. This raises some questions: who is he, and why do they not want him to leave?
