Princess Celestia is co-monarch of Equestria, an essential force in the government of the kingdom alongside her sister Princess Luna. In addition she is the defacto alicorn of the Sun, the sole pony responsible of raising the sun since several millenia.

Then one morning the impossible happens: another alicorn of the Sun is brought forth into existance. The alicorn is a stallion, a preposterous concept! And he has the temerity to claim that he is the rightful alicorn of the Sun!

Princess Celestia must of course immediately dispatch this pretender to the throne but her heart has other ideas. Will she find a peaceful resolution to this unprecedented situation or is her soul doomed to suffer endless strife from the conflict within?
