My first story, i'm open to critics and write if you get whats going on or not so i can edit or on my next chapter, ill make it more understandable and say what you liked or not liked about it, will help alot. please and thank you. Also ignore discription, idk how to explain it, just know its about spike struggling to confess, and when he does something crazy and phenomenal happens. Enjoy
Any other day
It all starts as an ordinary day in ponyville, the sun rises as morning starts. We see the light hit the Castle of Friendship, in that castle, inhabits an alicorn, a unicorn and a dragon. Celestia’s light has entered the dragon’s room and shined bright at his face.
The dragon’s name, is Spike. Spike is the only dragon that lives in ponyville and is known by everypony as the #1 assistant to princess Twilight, and a very kind, noble dragon. Spike has grown over the years, in his time in ponyville, and he is about one inch taller than everypony else.
"Hmm, morning already," Spike yawned. "Perhaps I should start getting up and get ready."
Spike gets up from his bed and gets to his morning stretch.
"Mmhmm, Celestia that feels good." Spike stretched and exhaled.
Spike leaves his room and heads to the bathroom to brush his teeth, until he meets Starlight Glimmer. She is a unicorn with a pink coat, persian blue eyes a purple and teal, mane and tail. She also has a purple and white star with two blue glimmering stream.
"Hey Starlight," Spike greeted. "Come to brush your teeth? Or should I say freshen up, as some of you mares call it these days?"
"Ha ha, very funny Spike." As Starlight humors him. "But yes, I am here to freshen up and start the day as usual. What about you? What are you going to do today?"
"I might go and start making breakfast in the kitchen." Spike explained. "I got to get something to eat first before I start my day, plus I have to make sure twilight eats. She is not the very best cook, but at least she tries."
Starlight giggled. "That is nice of you Spike. Hey, after I'm done in the bathroom, i'll come and help you out. What do you say?"
"I accept your offer." Spike smiles as he agrees.
After Spike was done brushing his teeth, he got out and went to the kitchen to start on breakfast. The kitchen was a big spacious place to do any type of cooking. There was a medium sized table for baking, pans were dangling on top of the ceiling for ponies to reach, a stove for making tea and a sink. Spike took out the cooking supplies and cooking ingredients, he also put on his favorite apron with a pink heart on it that he loves so much. Then Spike started to get the stove ready, while he was doing all that starlight came in and then she put on her own apron. The aprons' color was purple that had her cutie mark in the front.
"Ready to get started Starlight?" Spike asked.
"You bet Spike." Starlight replied with a big cute smile. "I'll start with the pancake batter".
"Then I'll get the eggs and also make some hay fries"
After about 30 minutes or so, they were done making breakfast. So now the next thing they started to do was set the table. It only took like about 5 minutes to set it with plates, utensils and pouring orange for each of them since it was a table for three.
"Phew, finally done with everything, thanks again for helping me out starlight. Spike said as he hangs up his apron. "If it wasn't for you it would have probably taken a bit longer because I would have to take my time with making the pancake batter."
"No problem Spike, we are friends remember, friends are there for each other." Starlight says with a smile. "And besides you're always helping out around in this place, you also help out ponies too. You deserve help from time to time."
"Hey um, you got a little something on your face." Spike says as he extends out his right arm to her face.
Spike reaches out and swipes a piece of cake batter from her face.
"Got it." Spike said while licking on one of his claw. "Mmhm, Tasty."
Starlight gets a faint blush on her face.
"Thanks again for the help, I really appreciate it." Spike said as he then starts head petting starlight, making her blush intensively.
"Uhh, n- no pr- problem Spike." Stuttered Starlight, with her whole face turning red.
"You okay Starlight? Your face looks really red. You don't have a fever." Says Spike as he touches his forehead to hers.
"It's nothing." Starlight answered. [Inside Starlight's head: 'What is going on? Why is my face so red, and why is my heart racing so much when Spike got so close?']
"Spike I uh-."
"Morning Spike, Starlight." Twilight yawned.
Meet Twilight Sparkle, who was first an unicorn then turned into alicorn due to her dedication, loyalty to her friends and mentor. She has violet eyes, a purple coat, sapphire hair and mane with a rose streak in between. Her cutie mark consists of multiple whites stars surrounding one big rose star in the middle. She is also the element of friendship.
"Morning Twilight (Twi)." They both said in unison.
"What's for breakfast?" Twilight asked.
"Well me and Starlight made eggs, pancakes and hay fries." Spiked answered.
"Yum, that sounds delicious." As Twilight licked her lips. "Why don't we all sit down and eat."
"Sure!" As they smiled together.
They started to eat for about ten minutes enjoying each others company until spike broke the silence.
"So Twilight, what is going to be my agenda for today?" Spike asked, curious on what he was going to do to.
"Well Spike, today I want you to re-shelve the books in order, clean the crystal chairs in the main room and the last thing I want you to do is send a letter to princess Celestia about having a meeting to discuss if they want to join us at the beach. Twilight explained "Sometime in the future."
"Okay, sound easy enough." "Well except for re-shelving the books." Spike sighed, looking all drained. "I get so exhausted to looking how many books I need to put in order."
"How about if I do that for you Spike?" Starlight added while smiling.
"Really? Spike said looking confused. "I know I said that I get exhausted just to re-shelve them, but I don't want you to go through the trouble of doing something I'm suppose to do."
"That's fine. Starlight reassured. "Like I said before, that's what friends are for."
"Thank you Starlight, I really appreciate that."
"It's so great see my both my friends become even better friends" Twilight sniffing and smiling while wiping a tear in her eye.
"Well why don't we finish eating so we can get started on work." Spike added.
"Sure." Twilight agreed.
"Sounds good." Starlight also agreed.
So when the three were done eating breakfast they took their plates and utensils to the kitchen sink. Later on Spike went to the main room and started to clean up the chairs. To Spike all he had to do was wipe and polish each one, it wasn't that hard to do. While doing so he came up to Rarity’s chair and started to daydream in thought.
"Ahh Rarity, if only I could always sit by your side to gaze at your beauty." Spike said, envisioning her in his mind. "The way your white coat always sparkle wherever you go, how silky you keep your purple mane and tail, so beautiful. And those beautiful sapphire eyes that match your three sapphire diamond cutie mark, even Celestia herself couldn't compare to your beauty.'
"Oooooh Spike, you are the most handsomest, generous dragon I have ever laid my eyes, and i wanted to ask you?" Spikes' vision of Rarity asked.
"Yes, what is it Rarity?" Spike dreamily replied, looking with heart shaped eyes at her.
"Spike, will you be my special somepo- err dragon." SVOR asked with a streak of pink on her cheeks.
"Yes Rarity, I would love to be your special somedragon." Spiked replied with so much excitement and glee.
"Spike." SVOR said while she closes her eyes and leans in for a kiss.
"Rarity."
"Spike, spike, spike..."
"SPIKE!" Twilight yelled.
"What, what happened?" Spike freaking out unknown that he's back in reality.
"That is what I want to ask you. Twilight asked looking worried. "I came walking by when I noticed you spaced out with a huge grin on your face for 5 minutes while polishing Rarity's chair. Is everything alright?"
"Oh, uh yeah. Spike flustered. "Yeah everything is alright, never better. Just thinking about delicious gems I'm planning to eat later on, haha.
"Okay? Just tell me if anything is wrong and I'll be glad to hear you out. I am your best friend Spike, I've known you for the longest time, so I know when something up." Twilight said still unsure.
"Yeah, no problem Twilight, I'll call you when I need to. I appreciate you looking out for me."
"Alright then, see you." Twilight said smiles but feeling a bit unsure.

"Alright, get it together. Time to finish up and get started on the next task." Spike said, trying to keep focus.
As Spike finished up the last chair he leaves the room and goes straight for the library. As he enters, he picks up a piece of paper, ink and a quill to write the letter. He goes to a nearby table and sits. He soon begins to jot.
"Dear princess Celestia and Luna, It's me Spike." As Spike starts writing the letter. "I am writing to you on behalf of twilight, she wanted me to ask you both if you wanted to hold a meeting to talk about joining us at the beach sometime in the future. *-_-*Between you and me, I don't understand why she can't just tell you two to come with us instead of making into a meeting just to join us. But that's how twilight is and I still love her. So hope you can come with us, if not that's fine too. yours truly, Spike 
"
Spike then rolls up the piece of paper, ties it with a string, making it look like a scroll and uses his fire breath to send it to the princesses. Spike then starts to go and find twilight.
--------------------------------------------------------In canterlot---------------------------------------------------------------------
In canterlot is where all well known, high society, and classy pony live. At the princess castle, there, live the two princesses.
Meet Princess Celestia, who was sitting in her throne looking very pleased. She is an alicorn mare with magenta eyes, a white coat with a light yellowish and orange cutie mark on her flank, her mane and tail are of cerulean, turquoise, very light cobalt blue, and pale heliotrope color. She wore a crown with a torque around her neck that were golden. Then to her left was her favorite and most loyal sister, princess Luna. Just like her sister, she is an alicorn. Luna had cyan eyes, a dark blue coat that has a crescent blue moon cutie mark on her flank. And wore the same attire as Celestia, except hers were black since she's the princess of the night. Luna looks to her sister and sees her happy.
"Sister, why do you look so happy?” Luna asked in confusion.
” Because dear sister, I ordered one of the best, most delicious cake, with frosting from sugar cube corner. I’m just impatiently waiting for it to arrive." Celestia said in excitement and a squee.
”Oh sister, you should be careful on how much cake you eat*swaying her while smiling*, or it will go to your butt. And your butt is already big enough as it is,if I do say so myself.”
”My butt is not that big, it’s like any other ponies butt.” Celestia pouted while she blushes.
Luna giggled. ”If you say so.”
”Hmph, and to think I was gonna share with my most loving sister.”
”Aww, you know I’m just kidding, it is all in good fun.” Luna trying to reassure her.
”Hmph.” Celestia said giving her the silent treatment.
”Come on Tia, you know i didn’t mean it.”
“...” Celestia still not uttering a word.
”Ok, Tia, we are very sorry, can thou ever forgive us .” Luna apologized.
Celestia looks back and starts smiling. ”Hehe, I know, just wanted to get you back. I wanted to see how long you were gonna apologize, but then you started to speak like how you used to. Using thou, we, us, every time when speaking with other ponies.”
”That was not very funny sister.” Luna pouted.
”Hahahaha.” They both laughed with tears in their eyes, enjoying each others company.
”It’s so splendid to have these occasions like this, smiling, laughing and being together as sis-.” Celestia added.
Suddenly a scrolls poofs on top of Celestia’s head.
”Hmm, a letter from Twilight I presume, wonder what’s the occasion?” Luna wondered.
”Let us open it and find out shall we.” Celestia said.
As Celestia unties the string, and unfolds the letter. Luna then comes in closer to read with her sister.They looked at each other after reading it.
”What do you think dear sister, should we go and join them for a bit of rest and relaxation?” Luna asked.
”I believe we should sister, but I think we do not need to hold a meeting just to come along.” Celestia replied.
“Yes, I also agree on that. And Spike is correct, she should just come visit and ask us, we won’t bite. Sister I believe you should tell Twilight to be more relaxed around us. Because I feel like she still thinks of us as her mentors and not as her friends.”
”Yes, I agree as well. But don’t worry, I’ll explain that when I write back to Spike.”
”Good idea. Hopefully Twilight will ease up the next time we meet, because I feel like when we do meet she going to make it feel like royal business or a meeting to have fun.” Luna sighed swaying at Celestia.
”Indeed. Now to give our answer.” [Celestia starts writing back. 'Dear Spike and Twilight, we happily acce-’]
”My apologize your majesty, but you have a visitor that wants to see you." A unicorn guard interrupted. "Says it’s for a special delivery.”
Celestia gasped and squeed. ”It’s here, it's here. My cake has arrived, let them in.”
”As you wish princess. You can come in now.” The royal guard said with a loud yell for the pony to hear*
When the doors open, the pony that came in to deliver the cake was Mr.Cake, who is the owner of sugar cube corner.
Meet Mr.Cake, an earth pony with a amber coat, an orange mane and tail. He had green pistachio eyes, on his flank were three pieces of chocolate cake with white frosting on top. He wore a white apron, his orange and white bow, and his white and orange hat.
"I have a cake with frosting for her majesty, princess Celestia." Mr.Cake said. "Oh and hello there princess luna"
"Greetings Mr.Cake." Luna greeted.
"Greetings and thank you Mr.Cake, but I'm lost for words." Celestia answered in awe.
"What is the problem princess?" Mr.Cake worried. "Oh no, don't tell me the cake is not to your liking or it's not the size you wanted for a princess yourself. Oh, I knew I should have looked for those giant and elegant cakes they have in those fancy restaurants in canterlot."*

"No no, it's not about the cake." Celestia said making sure it's fine."The one you brought is very fine, I'm lost for words because I thought Pinkie Pie would bring this cake. Knowing how she is, she would have done something crazy just to make a cake for me."
"Well she was going to make the cake at first, but something came up with her and her friends. So she ask me to make and deliver it in her stead. Then she started to ramble to herself about something big happening with meeting multiples of herself, her friends, Spike and all of us in equestria. She especially said how Spike is the reason to meet them. Very weird if I say so myself, but that is how she is."
Celestia looked confused. "Hmm, that is strange indeed, but if I know Pinkie It's probably something she and her friends can probably handle. Anyway how much do I owe you for the cake?"
"Since it's for you princess, it's free of charge."
"I couldn't possibly accept that offer. You don't have to give me any special treatment just because I'm the princess, I should be like any other customer you serve. Plus you came all the way out here to deliver it to me."
"No, it's fine princess, I don't mind. As long as the pastries I make bring a smile to ponies faces, then that is all I need."
"I still can't accept that offer, and if you don't want to accept any payment for ordering the cake. Then as princess, I hereby order you to accept 1,000 bits for being able to come all the way out here and not wanting to get any payment.
"Sister you can't possibly be-" Luna intervened but got cut off by Celestia.
"1,000 BITS!!" Mr.Cake said in shock. "But princess I couldn't possibly able to accept that offer."
"Are you defying a princess order." Celestia said in a menacing tone.
"No princess, I would never I-." Mr.Cake sighed in defeat. "Alright, I accept princess."
"Good." Celestia smirked.
One of the royal came in with the one thousands bits and handed it to Mr.cake. After he receives it, he starts to head out.
"Well princess, I must leave now, I got to get back to work. If you ever want another cake you know where to find us."
"Will do Mr.Cake and farewell. Now to dig in." Celestia says while drooling.
"But sister, what about the letter?" Luna added
"That will have to wait luna, right now, I must eat this CAKE!!!" Celestia screamed as she pounces on the cake.

Spike was searching around the castle looking for Twilight, it was taking a while to look her since it was a huge castle. But since he was living there, he knew where everything was, so he wouldn't get lost. He went to the library to check if she was there. Spike knew that she would be there since she always like to study. When he entered the library Twilight wasn't there, but he met up with starlight.
"Hey Starlight, have you finished re-shelving all the books and also, have you seen Twilight anywhere?" Spike asked.
"Yeah I did finish, took me about five minutes finish, with this whole library." Starlight began. "And I think I saw her heading straight for the kitchen."
"Alright, thanks Starlight an-, say what??" Spike awed.
"Twilight, I saw her heading towa-"
"No ,no, before that."
"I finished re-shelving the whole library in five minutes."
"How?" Spike said, still in disbelief. "I know you unicorns have magic to levitate objects, but it should take you awhile, at least with this whole library. I mean it takes me like an hour just to get done, and that is only because I know where things go. I even organize it to the point where Twilight can find the book she needs, instead of going through shelves or piles of books just to find it."
" First of all, it was easy to do because I found a spell that can re-shelve books no matter how many there are." Starlight added. "The spell can even order it by genre or alphabetical. And second, it takes you an hour to do this whole library. Plus doing it to benefit Twilight, wow, that is amazing."*

"It's not that amazing." Spike replied as he scratches the back of his head. "I have been here longer than you have, and when you have to re-shelve or organize, you try to experiment to make work go faster. If anything, you're the one who is amazing, you were able to do this whole library in five minutes. Even if it was from a spell, that is still pretty cool in my book." *winks at starlight*
"You flatter me too much, but thank you spike" Starlight blushed.*

"Hey, it is the truth. You're not just um... cu- cute, you're also very smart."
"Uuuh" Starlight tongue tied with a hint of pink on her cheeks.
"Well, I think I'll go to Twilight now, I'll catch you later Starlight."
"Bye spike." [ In Starlight's mind. 'Again?? what is with this warm sensation on my chest, and why is my heart throbbing so much?!']
-------------------------------------------------To-the-Kitchen--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Spike was walking towards the kitchen he goes deep in thought in what to do next as he was done for the day.
[In Spike’s head. 'Hmm, what should I do now, I am finished for today. Should I perhaps just go upstairs and read some power pony comics or hang out with the guys? Nah, I don't want to be cooped up in my room all day, Discord and Big Mac are probably busy with their own things.'] "Oh, I know. Maybe I could help the girls out with their own work. Help out Pinkie Pie at sugarcube corner, help out Applejack with chores around the house, and that would also benefit Big Mac too. Then there is Fluttershy with her animals, plus Discord. Maybe Rainbowdash would want a partner to help her out with her stunts as a wonderbolt and-."
Spike paused and then realized that he could help out Rarity and get to spend time with her. Spike felt that throughout the years he and Rarity have gotten closer as friends, but never had the courage to tell her how he really felt. He thought that she would know by now since everypony in ponyville knew he had a crush her, but spike knew too well that his crush has blossomed into love and still feel like she doesn't know at all. Until he got a great idea.
"I think I am going to help out Rarity first, maybe then I'll confess my love to her, hopefully." Spike began. "Then I'll help the rest of my friends, if I'm not heartbroken."
After thinking about what he is going to do, Spike entered the kitchen and catches a glimpse of Twilight making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich using a knife to get each condiment over a counter. Spike quietly tip toed behind her, making sure she doesn't hear him.
[In Spike's mind. 'He he, this is going to be fun.'] "HEY TWILIGHT!!!" Spike shouted.
"AAhhh!!" Twilight screamed in fear.
The sudden outburst made Twilight drop the jelly all over the counter as she teleported herself into one of the cabinets, until she creaks open one of the doors.
"Spike, what happened??" Twilight asked all scared. "Is there a threat to equestria? Did Tirek escape from tartarus?! Or is Celestia-"
"Bwahaha." Spike laughed. "I can't, i can't breath. Hahaha, my insides they hurt."
Spike just laid on the floor laughing so hard at what just happened a moment ago.
"That's not funny spike, I thought something serious had happened." Twilight said as she climbs down.
"Sorry, I was looking for you to tell you that I was done with the chores, until I thought I could give you a little scare. But I didn't think you were gonna react that way, haha."*

"Well because of your little stunt, the counter is now filled with jelly."
"Again I'm sorry. Here, let me clean it up for you to show that I'm truly sorry."
Spike took a rag from underneath the kitchen sink, soaked the rag with some warm water from the faucet and wiped off the jelly. He then used to the other side of the rag to dry clean the counter.
"Thank you Spike."
"Don't mention it, it was my fault in the first place."
"Even so, I appreciate it. So now that you're done with the counter and the chores, what do you want to do now?" Twilight asked.
"Well," Spike began. "I was thinking that I'd go help out our other friends with their work/chores if they needed it."
"Aww, that is so nice of you Spike. That's why your my number one assistant."
**"He he, yea."
"So, who is the pony you are going to help first?" Twilight wondered.
"Well, the first pony I knew was going to help was Rarity. Now I know that was probably the first thing that came into your mind but the reason why I chose her was because, well I was going to finally tell her how I felt about her."
"Oh, I see. But are you sure you want to do that Spike? Twilight questioned him.
Spike looked confused. "What do you mean Twilight?"
" What I mean is that," Twilight replied. "I know how you feel about Rarity, as well as our friends; even everypony from ponyville know about your feeling for her. But the only pony who doesn't is Rarity herself."
"Ok, I understand that, but I don't understand why I shouldn't tell her how I feel." Spike frowned.
"What I'm trying to get at," Twilight explains as she turns around. "Is that I'm afraid when you confess to Rarity how you feel, and she tells you she doesn't feel the same way. I care about you Spike, I don't want anything bad to ever happen to you, and the last thing I want is for you to get hurt if Rarity rejects you. I'm not saying she will, but still."
"I know how you feel Twilight, I'm also worried. I'm afraid just thinking if I do tell her but she tells me that she's not interested. I don't know what I will do then, but I can't be thinking that way anymore. I have to dragon up and face my fears, because if I don't, she might find somepony else and I will always regret not telling her."
"I know Spike, but I ju-"
"I love you Twilight." Spike cuts in as he embraces her.
*O////O*"What, Spike, I uhh um." Stuttered Twilight.
"You are always there for me whenever I need it," Smiled Spike. "I appreciate all the things you do for me. But this time, I have do this on my own, I want to know if Rarity likes me back. I might or might not get hurt in the long run, but I want to go through with this until the end."
"Alright then, I'll believe in you Spike."
"And even if she does reject me, I know that you'll be here to comfort and cheer me up."
Twilight smiled. "Uh, um Spike?"
"Yea, what is it?" Spike began.
"You can release me now."
*O///O"Oh, um yeah. I forgot, sorry about that, hehe."
"It's okay Spike, you're my friend after all, not to mention my number one assistant."
*:twilightblush*:"Yeah, well I think I'll be going now, don't want to waste anymore time. Later Twi."
Twilight smiled. "Bye Spike."
Unknown to Spike, Starlight entered the room as he left and heard the whole there conversation.
Starlight giggled. "Must be nice."
"Nice about what?"
Twilight said while looking confused.
"Knowing that Spike loves you," Starlight smirked. "That's what."
"N- No, you're wrong." Twilight blushed. "He meant it as a friend, we have been friends since we were young and I'm always there for him when he needs me. Yeah, that's it."
"Right. In any case, he said that he loves you, so if Rarity does reject him, this could give you the chance to become more than just friends."
"No," Twilight grimaced. "I couldn't think so selfishly like that, I want to support Spike as much as I can, and I hope Rarity does accept his feelings."
"If you say so princess."
"Well, what about you? I thought you liked Spiked?" Twilight suggested.
"Uhh, Huh?" Starlight blushed intensively. "What gave you that idea?"
"You two are always together whenever I'm busy with work," Twilight began. "Or if I give one of you a task that involves a friendship problem or royal business. You or Spike help one another, For example, you helped Spike with re-shelving the books in the library even though it was one of his chores."
"I only did that because he always does so much around here. And we only help each other so we can finish faster whenever you give us a task, it's what friends do like how you always say."
Twilight giggled. "Oh, did I struck a nerve?"
"Oh shut up." Starlight pouted as her cheeks became rosy red.
Back with Spike, we see him getting ready to head out.
"Alright, I'm all set to go. Scales look polished and shined to look presentable, got some bits; that I've been saving from helping twilight with whatever she needs and working part time around ponyville, to buy flowers for Rarity. Hey Twilight, I'm heading out. I'll be back by the end of the day." Spike shouted.
"Alright, good bye. Take care and good luck."
"Thanks, and I will."

As Spike was walking towards the carousel boutique, he had the widest grin across his face, he felt this way since he was going to see the most beautiful mare in all of equestria. But he also felt great because he was going to help his other friends. Spike always loved helping out ponies because of his dragon code, but it kinda felt like it was his calling.
Spike saw all the homes of ponyville, all the ponies he knew walking around, greeting and communicating with each other. So many lively ponies doing their jobs, and daily routine.
"Hello there Spike, it seems to be a fine day, if do say." A zebra greeted as she nuzzles Spike.
"Oh, hey Zecora." Spike said looking p.
Meet Zecora, now she wasn't a pony like the others, actually she is a zebra that lives in the everfree forest. She would come to ponyville to purchase items she needed. Her coat is of light grey with dark bluish gray stripes. Her mane and tail consists of black and white, her eyes are cyan color. She wears five gold rings on her left fore hoof and neck, on her flank is a cutie mark that has a spiral with arrows pointing outward around half the spiral.
"Farewell my friend ,may we meet again."
"Later?"
"Hi spike" A unicorn greeted and also nuzzled Spike.
Spike still perplexed. "He- hey there Minuette."
Meet Minuette, a unicorn that has a light blue coat, a periwinkle mane and tail with a grayish streak and dark blue eyes. She has an hourglass for a cutie mark on her flank.
Minuette giggled. "Bye"
"Uhh, bye Minuette?"
As Spike kept walking he was passing by Octavia.
Meet Octavia, an earth pony, she has a light grey coat, dark grey mane and tail, and light purple eyes. She wears a pink bow-tie with a white collar and her cutie mark is a violet treble clef.
"Hey there Octavia, lovely evening isn't it." Spike greeted
o///o"Oh, uhh salutations Spike, and it su- sure is, hehe." Octavia stuttered.
It was because of Spikes kind, loving and friendly nature that he's well known by everypony in ponyville, and in some parts equestria. This made everypony come to like him even if he was a dragon , especially the females. Any mare that he crossed by, either be Junebug, Vinyl, Sweetie Drops, Cheerilee etc. would nuzzle him as a greeted or some would be too shy to talk like Fluttershy would when she meets new ponies.
"I wonder why everypony is acting awkward or affectionate with me?' Spike asked himself. "Is it a holiday today? No, if it was, Twilight or any of the girls would have said something before.Hmm, maybe I'm just overthinking it, I should just focus on meeting with Roseluck (Rose for short) to buy Rarity he-"
"LOOK OUUUT!!!" A griffon yelled.
"Wha- AAAAAHHHHH!!" Spike screamed.
This, mysterious character came crashing down on Spike.
The griffon groaned. "I think I should tell Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Applebloom that hang gliding should be marked off the list as a potential cutie mark.
Spike groaned. "Ouch, my head."
"Oh my Celestia! I'm so sorry Spike," The griffon apologized. "I didn't mean to land on top of you."*a streak of pink on her face*
"Oh, yea I'm fine uh, Gabby?! Spike said while finding out who landed on him.
Meet Gabby, a griffon, she came to ponyville to seek the cutie mark crusaders to help her obtain a cutie mark, but soon found out that it wasn't. She still comes around to play with the CMC and hopefully one day finds her true calling. She has a light bluish grey coat, light blue feathers from her head to her chest, with white feather going from her chin to her neck. She also has light grey markings on her forehead and cheeks. She has gold talons, turquoise eyes and two inches taller than Spike.
"Yeah it's me. Here, let me help you up."Gabby said as she gave a helping claw.
"Yeah, Thanks, appreciate it."
When Spike got up he saw the the damage they did on the dirt road. It wasn't bad, until Spike saw that Gabby had a cut on her right cheek when she must have landed.
"Oh no Gabby, you cut yourself when you landed." Spike worried.
"Where? I don't see anything."
"It's right here on your right cheek." Spike explains when he puts his claw on her face.
Gabby then starts to have pink streaks on her cheeks.
"Does it hurt?" Spike asked
" It's cool," Gabby replied. "I"m a tough griffon. I'll just put some ointment on it when I get back home."
"Alright then, just take a little care of yourself okay, that was a nasty fall. It would be bad if that cut left a scar on your cute face."* and takes his hand back*
" You think I'm cu-cute? Gabby blushed untensively.
"Yes, you really are." Spike reassured her.
"You're the first one to have ever called me cute." Gabby flustered.
"HEEYY!" A unicorn yelled. "Gabby, are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. A drop to the ground can't hurt me, haha."
"Oh thank goodness," the unicorn relieved. "When we saw you lose control from the hang glider and started to fall towards the ground we thought you were bad-. You did get hurt." The unicorn said, sadden at what happened to Gabby.
"Yeah hehe, but I'm perfectly fine Sweetie Belle," Gabby reassured. "But thank you for worrying about me girls."
" We are just trying to make sure and you're welcome."
"Hey girls look, its Spike. What's up my dragon friend." A Pegasus greeted.
"Hello Spike." Sweetie Belle greeted.
"Howdy there Spike, watcha doing here?" Greeted an earth pony.
"Hey there Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Applebloom. And I was going to go visit Rarity to see if she needed any help today, until I was surprised with a hello from Gabby."
"What do ya mean by that?" Applebloom asked.
"Well, I can explain that." Gabby began.
As Gabby was explaining what happened before they got there, Spike looked happy at how the girls and Gabby became the best of friends. He was also surprised how much the fillies he knew when he came to ponyville years ago have grown (even though they were about Spikes' snout level) and have gotten their cutie marks. Spike never forget that day how all three of them got it at the same time, it was a big day for them as they had their cutecenera together with everypony.
Meet Sweetie belle, Rarity’s little sister, a unicorn like her, and light grey coat as hers. Her mane and tail, which was a mixture of pink and purple, has gotten longer and more vibrant. While her sap green eyes has gotten alluring like Raritys. Her cutie mark which was a red, pink and purple shield, in the middle of it, is a star with a quaver(eighth note) in it.
Meet Applebloom, Applejack’s little sister, and part of the apple family who are some earth ponies, with a little bit of unicorns and pegasus. Her coat is of pale yellow and has gamboge eyes. She kept the pink bow she had when she was a younger. When her red mane got longer, she tied it up like her sister, but did not do the same for her red tail. She also has the same cutie mark as Sweetie Belle but she has an apple with a heart in the middle of it.
Last but not least, meet Scootaloo who is pegasus. She may not have any siblings, but she does have Rainbow Dash who she treats as her sister. She has an orange coat, cerise mane and tail, and purplish eyes. She has the same cutie mark like her two friends, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. But a different symbol just like the other two. The symbol was of a wing with a lightning bolt in the middle, which was in the center.
"Wow, talk about crazy luck huh." Applebloom said still shocked at what corresponded a while ago.
"Are you sure you're alright Spike?" Scootaloo worried.
"Like I told gabby girls, I'm alright. I was just more worried about her since she was the one came crashing down."
"Well we're all glad you're good." Scootaloo relieved.
"Thanks girls."**
"So what were ya going to do before ya know, all this happen?" Applebloom asked.
"Well," Spike began. "I was going to uh, buy some f- fl- flowers for Rarity, then as ask her if she needs help with anything. If not then I'm going to see the other girls if they need help, hehe." *embarrassed*
"Before I left, I think she was doing some of her clothes line for the season but she said she is going to go find some new gems for her dresses." Sweetie Belle added. "So I think you can still make it before she leaves."
"Thanks. I'll go now so I won't miss her, later girls."
"Bye Spike, say hi to Rarity for me." Applebloom told Spike.
"Good bye."
"Later bro."
"Bye Spike. Oh and don't let this chance go by to tell her how you feel." Sweetie Belle smirked.
"Wha- huh? I don't know what you're talking about." Spike blushed as he left.
Sweetie Belle giggled. "Good luck."
"What ah don't understand is, why haven't ya told Spike how ya feel Sweetie Belle?" Applebloom asked.
"I would love too, but I know he likes my sister so I'll let them figure out their own feelings. But if she doesn't feel the same way, then I'll leave Spike be until he's ready to move on from his first love."
"That's mighty kind of ya Sweetie Belle."
"Thanks, but don't you girls like spike too, I know you girls are always happy when you're around him."
"Ah do like him, but ah didn't want to say much because ah thought one of ya might like him."
"I don't like him, I just want somepony to play with when I'm bored." Scootaloo said with a rosy hue across her face.
They all looked at Scootaloo not buying on what she was saying.
"Okay fine, I sorta, kinda like him." Scootaloo blushed.
"Well, he did call me cute when he was worried about that cut on my cheek." Gabby added.
"WHAT!!" All three freaked out.
"Yeah, he told me that after the whole crash."
"Why didn't you say that before?" Scootaloo replied.
"I didn't mention it because he was still around and I was still embarrassed about it."
All the three girls did was look at her with envy, wishing that Spike would call them cute.

When Spike left the girls, he started to focus on heading towards Rose, daisy and lilys' florist shop to buy Rarity’s favorite white roses. As Spike kept walking, he started to get a view of the shop.
The shop is a second story building, colored yellow green, and like all buildings in ponyville have hay as a roof top. They have flowers displayed outside all over the shop, on hinges outside the first and second story. They got a flower displayed under a red door on the second story, a sign with two flowers to let ponies know it's a florist shop. And a silver horseshoe with two flowers on top of it and one under on their door.
After Spike viewed their shop, he met up with daisy and lily who were watering the flowers.
Meet Lily Valley, an earth pony. She’s got a pale raspberry coat, light amber with pale amber highlights mane and tail. She has pale gold for eyes, three white lily flowers for a cutie mark on her flank and just like her cutie mark she has one on her right side of her mane.
Meet Daisy, also an earth pony. She has spring green eyes, a magenta coat, lime green mane and tail. Lastly a two white daisies for a cutie mark on her flank.
"Hey there Daisy and Lily." Spike greeted.
"Oh, hi Spike." Lily answered.
"Hello Spike:" Daisy responded.
They both came up to Spike and nuzzled him, then gave him a big hug.
"Is Rose here?" Spike asked. "I came to here to buy a bouquet of white roses."
"She's right inside, and you're in luck," Daisy added. "We just got a fresh batch of white roses."
"Thanks." Spike said.
"Isn't he the most cutest, handsome dragon you ever saw."*sighing dreamily* Lily whispered to Daisy
Daisy giggled. "Agreed."
Unknown to them, because of his good hearing, Spike could still hear them before he went inside.
"Hello, welcome to ponyville’s flower shop." Roseluck greeted whoever to came to the shop.
"Hey Roseluck," Spike began." "I came to pick up a bouquet of white roses."
Meet Roseluck, who is another earth pony. she’s got pale green eyes, a pale yellow coat, a raspberry with light raspberry streak mane and tail. Her cutie mark is that of a red rose like her name.
"Why hello there Spike, and I'll be happy to bring you some."
"Thank you."
"No problem. So, what's the occasion? Are you having a date."*as she gets the roses*
*o//o*"Oh no, it's not a date, I'm just buying some for Rarity since they are her favorite and she hasn't had any in her boutique for quite a while." Spike said playing it cool.
Roseluck giggled. "Well whatever the case is, she's a very lucky mare to have a handsome dragon that cares deeply for her."
"Hehe, thanks. So how much it be?"
"It will only be 15 bits."
"WHat!?" Baffled Spike. "But usually it's 40 bits for a bouquet."
"Well, since you're buying them for somepony special, I'm giving you a discount."
"Are you sure? I mean, I do have the bits for them."
"It's fine Spike, what are friends for."** Roseluck reassured.
"Gee, thanks Roseluck.
"You are welcome."
Before Spike could buy the flowers, he had a thought.
"Wait." Spike hesitated. "Before I buy them, can I also buy a rose, a white lily and daisy."
Roseluck smiled. "Sure, that'll be 20 bits."
"There you go, 20 bits."
"Here are your flowers Spike:"
"Thank you. And here you go Roseluck, one red rose."
"Why, Spike I..." Roseluck blushed.
"If you're gonna be generous then I would like to return the favor. Plus, you see ponies come in buying flowers for their loved ones. And I thought you deserve one as well at least."
[In Roseluck's mind. 'He's such kind and caring dragon'] "Well then, here's my thanks." Roseluck said as she leaned up to spike and kissed him on his cheek."
"Uh- uh, um thank you." Spike flustered. "I think I'm going to go now."*steam coming out of his head*
"Bye Spike." [Roseluck's mind. 'Wow, my heart is still racing'](\
As Spike left the shop while carrying his bouquet of white roses, he went up to Daisy and Lily to give them their flowers.
"Hey Daisy, Lily, I came to give you these." Spike called out as he handed them the flowers.
"Thank you Spike." Daisy said as she accepted his gift.
"Thanks, but what is this for?" Lily questioned as she took her flower as well.
"Just like I told Roseluck," Spike began as he felt embarrassed. "You girls see lots of ponies coming by, buying flowers for their loved ones and I decided to buy you some, since you all deserve it."
"Isn't that nice, right Lily."
"Why you sure are right Daisy."
They both looked at each other with devious smirks and knew what they were going to do next. Both girls leaned in and kissed Spike on his cheeks.
"Again, thank you for the flowers spike." Lily and Daisy said in unison.
Uhhhh, you're welcome, gotta go bye." Spike said as he blushed up a storm. *ran away*
Lily giggled. "Isn't he just adorable?"
"That he is, that he is."
Spike kept on running until he stopped to catch his breath. He then started to compose as he walked to Rarity's home. Spike made sure to wipe the kiss marks he got from the three flower girls, hoping Rarity won't notice, and then he made sure he still looked presentable.
After he was done, he started walking again until he finally made it to Raritys.
The Carousel Boutique design has an elegant vibe to it, having purple hearts, light purple and pink diagonal square pattern. Two mannequins on top of the second floor, yellow drapes on the windows, a blue wall with a white wavy pattern of some sort. And finally, a yellow mannequin sign to tell all that this is the Carousel Boutique.
Spike is just a few inches from her door.
"Alright, everything looks good, roses look beautiful and vibrant. Okay, I'm ready." Spike said as he composed himself.
Before Spike could knock, he starting to have doubts.
[In Spike’s mind 'Wait, what if I come off as desperate to her?' Spike hesitated. 'What if she never felt the same way I did? Maybe she already has a special somepony, then I already have failed from the start.'
Spike all of a sudden slaps his two cheeks with his claws.
[Still in spike's mind. 'No, I've decided to see this through to the end. I will tell her that I love her.']
He starts to enter the boutique until he stops dead in his track, feeling warmth throughout his body when he hears Rarity's sweet angelic voice.
"Hello, welcome to the Carousel Boutique, where every garment is chic, unique and magnifique." Rarity greeted. "Unfortunately darling I'll be leaving in 5 minutes, so it would be kind of you if you can come back tomorrow.*in the other room*
"Actually, it's me Rarity." Spike added.
"Oh Spike darling, it's so good to see you." Rarity smiled as she entered the main room.
Meet Rarity, a unicorn. She has a white coat; indigo mane and tail, azure colored eyes, light blue eye shadow and has three light blue diamonds for a cutie mark on her flank. She is also the element of generosity and Sweetie Belle's older sister.
"It's good to see you too Rarity."
"What brings you here?"
"Well, I came to see if you needed any help with your work and also give you these." Spike said as he showed her the flowers.
"Spike, these are so beautiful, that's the most sweetest thing you've ever given for me. Thank you."Rarity said in delight as she hugs spike, that is until she catches something on Spike’s face*
"You're welcome Rarity. But I think their beauty doesn't compare to yours." Spike commented.
"Oh Spikey-Wikey you flatterer."*glimpse of pink on her cheeks*Hmm, let me go upstairs and find a vase."
Rarity goes upstairs to her room and goes inside her closet to find a vase. After rummaging around for 2 minutes she was lucky to have found one. She then return downstairs with her vase.
"I found one, hand me the roses Spike."
"Here you go."
*levitates them*"I'll put them here on one of the counters with mirrors. Now I'll be able to see them everyday. And to answer your question darling, I was just about to leave to go gem hunting for my new line up this season. I would be joyed if you'd help and accompany me, that's if you want Spikey-Poo."
"Sure, I'd be delighted too." Spike smiled.
"Wonderful, just let put my hat in my bags and we'll be on our way."
Rarity, goes back to the other room and fetches her hat.
"Alright darling we can go now."*with her bags on her back*
"After you m'lady."
Rarity giggled. "Why thank you Spike."
As Spike and Rarity walked to their usual destination to hunt some gems, they were admiring how peaceful the day was.
Spike enjoyed watching different kinds of races coming in it out of ponyville, seeing new or old faces. He especially loved today because he gets to enjoy it with the mare of his dreams. It was then Rarity broke the silence in their journey.
"What have you been up to these days Spike?" Rarity asked.
"Same old, same old." Spike replied. "Doing chores for Twilight, helping her with royal business when she needs it, and helping out Starlight with some friendship problems."
"I see."
"What about you, how has it been these days?" Spike asked her.
"It's been quite lovely darling. My business has progressed successfully over the years, why I'm meeting with all kinds of elites throughout equestria who want to expand my business and have some of my designs for their new wardrobe, it's so wonderful Spikey-Poo. Sweetie Belle and I are as close as ever, even though there are times when we get into some arguments, we still love each other no matter what."
"Wow, it sounds that your life is going great, and maybe it's even going to get better. It makes me happy knowing nothing is getting in your way."
Rarity smiled."It may seem so, but alas, there is one thing that is missing." Rarity said in dreary.
"What would that be?" Spike asked.
"Why having a special somepony darling. I fear that I'm getting so busy with work because of how my career is getting so successful that I don't have any time to socialize and find my special somepony. Of all the worst possible things, this is THE WORST possible THING."
"I'm sure you'll find your special somepony Rarity. Spike reassured. "Why maybe there's a stallion that wants to take you out when you're doing business, but they get cold hooves because of how b- be- beautiful and cute you are. Even I think you're great and wonderful" Spike blushed while looking down.
"Oh Spike, you say those most kindest and sweetest words. It's no wonder that there are mares who want you as there special somep- somedragon."
"No, that can't be true."
"I beg to differ Spike."
"What do you mean?" Spike questioned.
"You think I wouldn't have notice those lipstick smudges on your cheeks." Rarity glared.
"Oh uh these." Spike feared while trying to remove them again.
"My, my, it seems that my Spikey-Wikey has gotten popular with the ladies." Rarity implied with a scary smile.
"There is a logical explanation for this."
"I would love to here what that is."
Spike started to tell the whole story to Rarity about him going to the flower shop and buying the white roses, all while mentioning how the three mares were a little too friendly with him. Then he told her how he bought them flowers because they always see ponies buying flowers for their special someponies, and he had the thought they should deserve some at least.
"And that's the reason why I had those lipstick smudges on my face."
"Why the nerve of them," Rarity huffed. "Taking advantage of your generous heart, I should go over there right now and give them a piece of my mind."
"It's okay Rarity, you don't have to do that. I'm probably sure they did it to show thanks for offering them."
"Well I think they went a bit too far."
"Are you perhaps jealous Rarity?"
Rarity blushed. "What me jealous? Why would I be, I'm just trying say that they shouldn't go that far to show their appreciation. Rarity pouted.
"Yeah, you're probably right, hehe."
With all their discussions, they haven't realized that they have arrived at their destination.
"It looks like we're here Rarity."
"We were talking for so long that we didn't notice we arrived."
"Alright, Want to enter the crystal cave and get started on collecting gems?"
"Of course darling, just let me get my hat from my bag and we'll get move on. And like always, after we're done I'll give you, your share of gems."
"Sounds good to me." Spike smiled.
After Rarity went to her bag and placed her hat on her head, she then entered the cave with Spike. She cast one of her spells to start locating some rare gems that were hidden among other gems in the cave. While doing that, Rarity and Spike also started to collect some common gems that were lying around as well.
It wasn't until twenty minutes later that they found a couple of tanzanite. Tanzanite are rare games that exhibit dramatic color shifts that are dependent upon both crystal orientations and lighting conditions. After collecting the gems they continued looking around.
They kept going for a while until they came across some benitoite and collected them. Benitoite has a fluoresces brilliant color that reminiscents of a glowing blue chalk when looked under a UV light.
"These are going to look great on some dresses I'll be making!" Rarity said in excitement.
Spike and Rarity kept on looking for two hours but there was no avail. They were about call it quits and go home with all the gems they collected. It wasn't until Rarity got a massive surge in her horn telling her there was a indeed a rare gem near by.
Rarity told Spike to dig around to find the gem. It took him thirty minutes until he found what they were looking.
"Is this what you were sensing a while ago Rarity." Spike said looking astonished.
"Yes, this is it darling, a red beryl. This is the most rarest and gorgeous gem there is."
"Alright then, stand back while a dig it up."
As Spike started to dig up the gem, he found it was hard to remove the gem off the ground. He struggled so much just to take it out. Rarity then decided to help him out by levitating it as he lifted.
They both had a hard time trying to pry the stone off the ground, but after using all of their strength, they finally released the stone from its prison. What they discovered that the gem was about Spike's size when he was younger.
"This has got to be the biggest gem we have ever found, it must be worth millions." Rarity awed as she look at the gem.
"Yeah, it sure is big."
"Oh thank you Spikey-Wikey," Rarity squeed as she hugged Spike. "Without you I don't think I would have ever dug up this gem."
"Oh it was nothing, I'm just glad to help."
Spike and Rarity lifted the gem and stored it away in one of the baskets they brought with."
"Alright, I think we have all the gems we need. We should start heading back to ponyville now." Rarity stated.
[In spike's mind. 'Okay Spike, it's now or never, don't let this opportunity go.'] "Uhh Rarity, before we go, I wanted to tell you something."
"What it is Spike?" Rarity asked.
"I been meaning to tell you for the longest of time, but could not find the right words to say it." Spike nervously said.
"Tell me what Spike?" Rarity replied as her heart raced.
"Well Rarity," Spike began. "I've known you for so long after I came to ponyville. Through these years, I've gotten to know the real you so well, not just your beauty. How generous and smart you are, willing to put everypony above all else, being a great friend to all of us, and how funny and silly you can be at times. Whether it be the good times, or bad ones. What I'm trying to get at is that I… I l- lo- love-
