It was a warm, peaceful day in the Everfree forest. Discord was living with his lovely wife, Fluttershy in a remodeled castle in the forest. They were a happy, although strange couple and their lives couldn't be better. But they could easily get worse. Discord had a brother and sister, Zany and Eris. Eris, like Discord, was a draconequus. She was, well, crazy. But she still cared about her family, as she was the youngest of the siblings. Zany was a pegasus stallion like his mother. In the eyes of many, he was completely evil. He and Discord hated each other. Then again, Zany thought both of his siblings were stupid. Discord, despite being a middle child, got quite a bit of attention due to his progress with his powers. Eris, on the other hoof, struggled with her powers. Probably had something to do with her being a tad nuts. Zany despised his siblings. He thought they were stupid, freakish, and weak. Discord believed that Zany was evil, manipulative, and stubborn. Which he was. He hadn't seen Zany for years and he was glad about it. If only it could stay that way.
It all started when Discord and Fluttershy were relaxing at home. They heard a loud abrupt knock at the door. "I'll get it," Fluttershy said. This was definitely strange. They didn't get a whole lot of surprise visitors, seeing as they lived in the Everfree forest. Fluttershy opened the door. As soon as she opened it, she felt a mix of surprise and rage. But mostly rage. It was none other than Zany and his wife, Sweet Stuff, who just so happened to be Fluttershy's sworn enemy. She had a yellow coat, purple eyes, and a white and pink mane. Her cutie mark was an orange lollipop. Sweet Stuff was holding two foals, with another on her back. One was a white unicorn with a lavender and pink mane and light green eyes. One was an earth pony with a lavender and white mane, pink coat, and blue eyes. The last one was the strangest of them all. She was an earth pony with a curly white and purple mane and a pink coat. But her eyes were just purple spirals. No iris, no sclera, no pupil. "What are you doing here?" Fluttershy said through gritted teeth. Zany opened his mouth.
"As you can see, we had triplets."
"We never wanted kids so, we disowned them," Sweet Stuff continued.
"Fluttershy, are you okay? What's going on over there?" Discord shouted from the living room. He walked to the door. "Who is i-" He stopped as soon as he saw Zany. He clenched his teeth.
"Oh, it's you," Zany said.
"Fluttershy, do I have a sixtieth sense? Because I hear someone who is dead to me." He glared at Zany.
"Please just tell us what you want," Fluttershy said as politely as she could.
"As I already told you, we disowned our kids," Sweet Stuff said.
"So who's gonna take care of them?" Discord said. Zany smirked.
"You are. There names are Sweetie belle, Diamond Tiara, and Screwball."
"Wait, WHAT?!" Fluttershy said. "Ahem, sorry. But they're your kids!"
"Yeah, so?" Sweet Stuff said in a bored tone.
"You're evil," Discord said.
"Oh shut up," Zany replied.
"Hey, Fluttershy, do you think you could go put the kids in one of the extra rooms?"
"Sure." As she walked away, she glared at Sweet Stuff, as if to say, 'this isn't over.' Discord turned to face the couple.
"Leave this house. And never come back," he said in an ominous tone. They just shrugged and left. Fluttershy came downstairs. She looked excited, but worried.
"You know how Screwball has those unsusual eyes? Well turns out, she's also a magic wielding earth pony who can fly."
"Oh that's great wait WHAT?! This is wonderful!" Fluttershy laughed.
"I wonder where she got that from."
"Wait, did Sweetie Belle have any, outbursts?"
"No, she seemed to be a pretty calm foal. Diamond on the other hoof," she trailed off.
"Well, so much for a calm life," Discord said.
"Well, we did always want kids. And since," Fluttershy stopped again. She winced at the memory. Discord and her found out that she would not be able to have children.
"Well, you knew what they say, every cotton candy cloud had a silver lining." Fluttershy laughed and shook her head.
"I'm gonna go upstairs and check on the kids."
Fluttershy tried to keep calm as she saw the room. Parts of the rug they were currently sitting on were torn, other parts turned into cotton candy and taffy. A lamp that had been sitting on a table in the room had shattered into hundred of pieces, heck, there was even chunk of the wall missing. Screwball and Diamond were screaming at each other and Sweetie Belle was crying and flailing her hooves nearby. She called Discord. He immediately materialized next to her. His jaw literally dropped to the floor wen he saw the scene. On top of it all, a smelly odor suddenly filled the room. "Oh, Sweetie Belle!" Discord exclaimed. The foal in question gurgled. Fluttershy coughed.
"I'll clean up the mess, you change diapers."
"Why do I get the hard job?!" Discord whined. Fluttershy gave him a look. He groaned and a pack of diapers appeared.
Eventually, the rug, lamp, and wall were replaced and the foals were placed in separate cribs to avoid another catastrophe. Fluttershy an Discord plopped onto their couch, exhausted. They looked at the time. "It's only 4:00!" Discord shouted.
"And we still have all that paperwork to do," Fluttershy said wearily.
"Awww but I hate homework!"
"I'll do half of it, then you do the second half."
"Works for me," he said.
Luckily for Fluttershy, she was a very, very patient mare, meaning the paperwork wasn't too bad. But it was still annoying. It ended up taking three and a half hours. "Discord, your half!" she called from downstairs. Discord, unlike his wife, was extremely impatient and easily frustrated. It ended up taking Discord six hours, due to his fits of anger. Luckily, Fluttershy stood nearby and made sure he stayed calm. The spray bottle really helped. At last, it was all finished. It was 1:30 AM. They heard a loud wailing sound. They both groaned. Fluttershy flew upstairs, nearly falling down several times from exhaustion. Discord put his paw on her shoulder.
"I'll handle it. You get some sleep." Fluttershy nodded. Discord teleported her to their bedroom. She fell asleep as soon as she laid down. Discord went to the foals' room. He gently picked up Screwball, who was crying. He began to rock her in his arms. She stopped crying for a second, only to start again. He tried to think of ways for him to help her sleep. He had an idea.
"Please do not cry, my dear
Your Daddy is so very here...
And if any pony
Causes you any harm or fear...
"Then I will bring them pain
And drown them all in chocolate rain
'Cause I...am your daddy, Discord
And you...are a piece of me.
I will stick by your side
No matter what the tragic cost
Our crazed imagined thoughts
Are what give you and me our strength
'Cause you...are my daughter, Screwball
And you're...gonna sleep right now."
Discord smiled as the foal drifted off to sleep. He gently placed her back in her crib. He teleported back to bed and collapsed. He put his arms around Fluttershy and slept.
Indeed, being parents wouldn't be easy, especially with Screwball, but with each other by their side, Fluttershy and Discord would get through it. Somehow.

Screwball counts as an OC because in a way, she is everyone's original character. She can't be OOC because she is your character. You can make her nice ,mean, shy,bold, whatever you want. This is my own version of her, and thus, my OC. The rest of the CMC don't exist in this universe. I didn't include visual descriptions of any of Discord's siblings. Imangine his sister as Event H0rizon's OC but female and all shades of pink with the same eyes. The lullaby is the Daughter of Discord version of Daddy Discord with some lines removed.
