It has been a dreadful 1000 years since Lord Tirek had conquered Equestria. The 4 pony princesses and the Mane 6 have long since perished at Tirek's hands and much of the world has been twisted into his ideal vision of perfection where he rules as a tyrannical despot. The creatures of Equestria desperately held onto the faint wish that they would be delivered from this evil. Alas... as the years flowed by... that hope slowly waned. Now, the ponies and other creatures alike live in constant despair, knowing that there is no hope for a new dawn.

Yet... a new hope is soon to emerge, one that is not of flesh and blood.

A group of scientists retreated in a secret enclave to develop a new creation: an Android, different than Tirek's robot thralls, one that looks, thinks, and feels emotions like a normal pony. It was created for one reason:

To be the hero Equestria needs in its darkest hour... A hero that is alive, but not alive.
