They say that libraries have plenty of stories—this probably isn't what they meant.
The hunger was strong. A deep, desperate, unyielding hunger that clawed up from the pits of the soul, an overwhelming, primal need for sustenance. The body was still, unmoving, save the slow rise and fall of the its chest. Sounds bounced around it, the voices of living creatures, familiar as they were, seemed indecipherable as it lay there. Then Hunger opened its eyes.
Pupils dilated as Hunger stood, its eyes searching frantically for a source of energy, of nourishment. There, a four-legged blue creature looked at Hunger, a mix of worry and confusion drifting through the air like a subtle perfume. There were others around as well, a purple winged quadruped, as well as strange creatures that seemed to float without wings. Hunger ignored them, focusing on the strongest emotions in its proximity.
The tiniest flicker of energy in its direction finally sparked action, the beast jumping into the air towards the emotional blue pony.
Yes, that’s what it’s called.
Silver-furred legs gripped against the pony’s torso, locking around it and hauling him, yes, definitely a male, into the air. With a woosh of feathers, rather than chitin, Hunger dragged the pony through the strange structure.
Towers of strange wooden structures covered almost every surface visible. Up and down, the great chamber was filled with levels and levels of maze-like paths that stretched into the darkness. Below a great light of magic surged from one side to another, causing Hunger to shiver briefly before refocusing on its task.
The food source didn’t struggle, instead it seemed to be leaking a variety of emotions, only one of which was the tiniest flicker of fear and apprehension. Instead, there was a sense of strange curiosity, apprehension and even desire. However, it was the last, and strongest feeling that gave Hunger pause. It was something it had never truly felt before, and couldn’t conjure a name for as a result.
It flew the pony up several floors, the wind sweeping past its wings as it dodged around floating rivers of water and lava that seemed to pipe in and out of the great structure. Finally, it dived across the maze of wood and flickering letters, the light of small magical runes shining up as it passed. When it could wait no longer, Hunger landed in a small corner section where the walls seemed to hang over the wooden structures… bookcases.
The sense of apprehension spiked as hooves touched upon the marble floor, shadows of ponies flickering across the vast tomes as they landed. The pony stood up as he was released, his cool, blue eyes staring into the void of desperate, craving hunger. Flurries of emotion swirled up and around the blue pony as he pushed his silver mane away from his face with a hoof. These wisps of energy, visible to only Hunger, smelt of honey and dewdrops, with the slightest hint of blueberries.
It took a deep breath and drew in the essence of the pony, who looked back as a slight chill past through his body. The driving hunger ebbed slightly, and the beast pulled another word out of the ether.
Azure
Azure smiled and waited, his eyes drifting as a mix of uncertainty and desire leaked from him. His gaze wandered over the current form the Hunger had taken, and all the while, his emotions seemed to rise ever higher. A gentle red tinge lit Azure’s face, the feelings of craving and need now quite visible. Still, as he moved closer, step by step, there was the underlying emotion that was elusive in its meaning.
Azure sat directly in front of Hunger, the light from the nearby magical lights casting his face into sharp relief. He breathed deeply, seeming to take a moment of introspection, then leaned forward and pressed his lips to the creature. A warm feeling spread inside as blue fur slide against silver, his warm breath heavy with the sweetest mix of emotions.
He parted the joining in a slow and deliberate motion, gazing forward as he lips moved as if to say something. A word, a single word, perhaps a name? He blinked and smiled, then took a deep breath and spoke the word again, this time filling it with powerful emotion.
“Cirrus.”
The name dripped with power, the wondrous feelings behind it drifting over to satisfy Hunger. A strange tug from inside, and a small voice spoke from deep inside.
Cirrus… that’s my name, right?
Cirrus moved forward, the stallion before her still holding the tiniest spark of apprehension, but held growing willingness to share his emotions: a flame of lust, a wave of anticipation, and the tiniest flicker of… what was that emotion?
Hooves touched together, Azure’s blue fur moving to brush through Cirrus’s mane which sent a shiver of emotional release that coursed from him to her. Azure’s eyes widened briefly, then narrowed as a smile cross his face. He moved swiftly forward, a warm pyre building inside his eyes as he kissed her once more.
Cirrus’s knees almost buckled, the flood of emotion that powered through her a step away from lifting her off her hooves. The strongest feeling ever shared with her, and yet she still couldn’t identify it, even as Azure smiled at her as they parted. His eyes were closed in evident bliss, and when they finally opened, Cirrus felt like she’d been shot.
Admiration
Finally having put a word to it, the emotional strength behind it seemed to double, and the voice inside grew even stronger.
Where am I? What… is happening?
Azure frowned as he spoke her name once more, but Hunger didn’t respond, so Azure stepped forward and nibbled along the base of her wing. The squeaking gasp that sounded into the empty bookshelves would make even grown mares blush red with envy. Azure continued to fervently make his way up and down each wing, taking immense pleasure with every squirm and toss he could extract from the mare. Each squeal was returned with little bites of emotion from the blue and silver love wizard.
Hunger felt, bit by bit, bite by bite, a growing strength dragging it back into the depths. It resisted, the voice calling up from the pit, the mare’s every word like a silver chain that fought against its control. Azure pushed harder, his hooves seeming to find each and every spot above her torso that could deepen the blush on Cirrus’s cheeks. Then, there was one final kiss, one final heated sharing of breath and chains pulled taut, and Hunger was once again lost to the darkness.
Friendship
Cirrus blinked as she stared at Azure, her eyes widening in realization as they parted lips. A deep blush spread across her face, the crimson hues almost seeming to reach through her silver coat, all the way down to her wings. He smiled at her, bowing his head slightly as he took a step away.
“Cirrus?” he asked.
“Yes, Azure, it’s me.”
“Thank you… for what you did,” Azure said as he stepped away. Bits of relief flickered off him, but there was also regret, and several other feelings that had gone unrequited.
“I was happy to do it, Azure,” Cirrus called after him, taking a step forward. “That’s what friends are for, right? To help each other when they need it most?”
Azure stopped, turning to smile back at her, “Of course. I’m just glad you’re better now. We should get going.”
He didn’t meet her eyes as he spoke, then turned back to navigate the maze of bookshelves of their little hideout.
“Azure?”
“Yes?” he called back.
“Think they can wait a while longer?” He turned and eyed Cirrus, waiting for her to continue as a swirl of his emotions blurred together like a multicolored snowstorm.
“What are you saying, Cirrus?”
“I’m saying I’m not done with you.”
Azure raised an eyebrow as Cirrus gestured him forward with a flick of her silky, blue tail. A grin slowly crept up his face as he trotted back to her, and Cirrus found herself unable to keep from matching his expression herself.
“Are you sure?” he asked as he placed his hoof gently on her shoulder. She didn’t speak, instead, she pressed into him, pulling Azure’s chest against hers with a hoof. Her wings fluttered out as her tongue moved against his mouth, and after a moment, it was allowed entry. They tasted each other, flavored of honey mixing with the lightest hint of sunflowers. Cirrus couldn’t tell what tasted better: his mouth or his emotions.
Strength was returning to Cirrus as she smirked, right before she jumped atop Azure, her wings spread wide. Her hooves gripped around Azure’s waist, the momentum pulling him up and over to land on his back with Cirrus pinning him lightly, her hooves to either side of his head. Cirrus smiled slyly down at the normally grumpy, blue pony as Azure rolled his eyes up at her.
Cirrus dipped down, her delicate feathers brushing against Azure’s snout, then down across his chest. Her soft, silver-colored muzzle brushed against his neck, following her wings as she gently nipped at Azure’s chest hairs. Azure squirmed as Cirrus held him down, his eyes staring up into the darkness of the library’s ceiling.
“I thought," he said in a soft voice, as if anything above a whisper would break the magic of the moment, "that it was a stallion’s job to see to a mare’s needs.”
“Oh?” Cirrus said with a raised eyebrow. “What are you going to do about it then, big blue?” Her eyes flickered downwards, Azure smirking at her as he raised a single hoof to his neck.
“Put on a show, little cloud.” Azure tapped the dark moonstone pendant on his neck, which was followed by an expanding, swirling black wave of magic. It spread out past the books before settling about ten meters away, the opaque field of dark energy preventing anypony from seeing inside or out. Then the ground faded into nothing and the pair of ponies fell into a thick fog.
Cirrus gasped in surprise, her wings spreading in reflex as the pair fell into emptiness. Azure smiled and gently grabbed hold of her, the pair turning until their faces pointed directly downwards, a powerful wind rushing over their bodies. Then, with a burst of ozone, they pushed through out of a huge cloud, and into a wondrous dark sky. In every direction, the beautiful night stretched as countless twinkling lights winked down at them. The cool night air pushed the silver mane from Cirrus’s face as a huge smile spread across her features. Azure fell alongside her, his soft gaze enjoying all the lovely sights of the evening. An immense distance seemed to separate the ponies from the ground as Azure pulled the pegasus close, clearly intent on not wasting a precious second. The pair of blue and silver ponies shared a firm, powerful kiss as they plummeted towards the ground, a falling star of whirling emotions and rising tensions.
Azure bent his neck and gave a gentle, but still firm bite on her wing, eliciting a blushing squeak from Cirrus. A great grin spread across his face as he worked his way up one wing, then down the other, each nibble changing the color of Cirrus’s complexion until she was almost scarlet. Finally, when it seemed that she could bear it no longer, Azure moved down along her soft coat, his tongue gently taking in every taste and texture she had to offer.
The brilliant moon flashed above as Azure reached his final destination, his tongue reaching through the cool air and into Cirrus. Beautiful blossoms of emotion wafted through the air in colorful spirals as she moaned and twisted in bliss. Azure explored the delicate flower of Cirrus’s marehood, the taste of citrus fruit luring his tongue ever further.
“Ahhh.” A moaning squeal escaped from Cirrus as she spasmed with enjoyment. Azure pressed his muzzle firmly into her, intent on finding all the secret pleasure points he could. Cirrus squeaked and tossed her blue mane wildly as the wind whipped around them, her wide eyes forced shut as each wave of goodness brought her closer to ecstasy.
“Almost… “ she said, her voice a strained whisper in the wind. Azure pulled away from her, the magnificent tasting fruit of her lingering on his lips. He moved up her body, licking this way and that, along her belly and up to her face.
“You’ll have to wait, little cloud. We’ve yet to arrive at our destination.” Azure smiled as he nuzzled her neck, then turned her attention downwards.
Below them was the alabaster towers of Canterlot, approaching at rapid speed. They fell towards one of the large balconies, a magnificent sun hanging from its outer wall. When they were mere seconds from the ceiling, a large hole opened to emit the falling pair of ponies. With a poof of air, Azure and Cirrus landed upon a large, princess sized bed, their bodies sinking into its wonderful plush down-feather covers.
“Ooph,” they said in unison. Cirrus sat up slightly, Azure shifting to the side, having landed neatly atop her. A large celestial sun adorned the walls above several bookcases. Next to these was a small writing desk and a table, complete with a porcelain tea set.
“Are we actually where I think we are?” Cirrus asked. Azure nodded as he followed her gaze, a fond smile on his face.
“There’s a good story about this room, but that’s for later.” Azure smirked as he climbed gently back onto her, Cirrus’s wings spread out as she lay on her back. “It’s impolite to leave a lady unsatisfied.”
“Are you always this cheesy?”
“Only when I know somepony is watching,” Azure said, his head looking out towards the balcony. There was the soft sound of surprised hooves, followed by the opening of wings.
“Who was that?”
“Just a nosy, little nightingale,” Azure chuckled. “Now where was I?”
“You were literally and figuratively filling me with your love?”
“Oh, right.” He grinned, then placed himself over her once more. His warm member slide against her as he moved close. A last nuzzle, a teasing nibble of the ear and then he began to move into her. Back and forth, slow, but firm. He made long, passionate movements, each directed at slightly different angles as he aimed for Cirrus’s sweet spot. He grunted with exertion, a bead of sweat dripping down his brow as he entered again and again. The warmth of their shared union filled them with renewed vigor, and with a twist, Azure found himself beneath the panting silver pegasus.
Her wings beat frantically, the wind cooling Azure as he gave up his lead. Cirrus turned, giving Azure the most wonderful view of her lithe figure. She pressed down against him, cleaning taking his entire stallionhood into her as she moved backwards. Again and again, she pushed at him, releasing a moan at the end of each cycle. Azure kicked against the bed as he neared climax, his hooves stretching forward to grab the tight, juicy rump in front of him. Then he grinned, pulling her around and over until he once more dominated the situation.
A wash of emotions poured out from Azure as he moved forward, nuzzling her once more. Then he pulled back, his eyes enjoying every curve and contour of the magnificent mare before him. Breathing deeply, he pressed once more into her, deeply and fully, his eyes trained on hers. Stronger and with more control, Azure poured his love into her. He gave her all his admiration, all his friendship, and maybe, just a bit of a real budding love. Finally, all the emotional exchange was accompanied by the physical signs. Both ponies shuddered in delight as Azure came inside her, Cirrus moaning in delight as her insides throbbed joyfully.
Breathing heavily, Azure moved to the side, falling onto his back as his head rested against a large, sun-patterned pillow. A grin stretched across his face: worn, tired and totally goofy.
“Well that was the first time that’s happened.”
“What?” Cirrus turned over in surprise. “Were you a virgin?”
Azure roared with laughter for a moment before he answered, “Oh, in Luna’s name, no. I’ve just never slept with a pony that I’d met less than a day before.”
Cirrus giggled at that. “You ponies and your preoccupations with sexual propriety.”
“At least I’m not a slut-bug, going around to suck the love from anypony that’ll give it,” Azure called back.
“And at least I’m not a whiny, emotional herd animal that will spontaneously burst into song anytime the moment demands it!”
They looked at each other flatly, then burst into a fit of laughter, their hooves reaching out to touch the other.
The ceiling faded away, revealing the glorious night sky above them. The bed sunk into the ground as shadows whirled around the pair. Soon after, the library reappeared around them, the looming shelves of books once against surrounding Cirrus and Azure.
“Was this a one-time thing, Azure?”
Azure turned and helped her up with a hoof.
“What do I look like: Some emotion machine that you can just turn on whenever you want?”
“Yes?” Cirrus said with a raised eyebrow.
Azure gave a sheepish grin, then said, “Well, there’s just something about wings… “
Author's Note
My first mature story, chapter, thing. This story meant a lot to me, and I hope that shows with this chapter. It was little strange writing these scenes, honestly, I was blushing quite a bit as I wrote it. The general topic of sex can be a little embarrassing to talk or write about for me, I've just always been like that.
This will be the only chapter like this for this story, though perhaps I'll write more for the sequel when I get to that. I hope you all enjoyed it, and as always, all comments, questions and criticisms are appreciated.
With love and dedication, Dreams of ponies
