I slowly open my eyes and bask in awe of my surroundings from the bright light that encompassed me earlier. I look around and see a black void with stairs going up to who knows where. I begin walking for what seemed like hours and hours on end until I reach a strange door.

I open the door to see a room with thirteen chairs of differing heights surrounding me in a circle.

I then look for the door I exited from only to not see it as it disappeared. I begin to freak out as shadows start to emerge from the chairs. I look in front of me and see two pistols and a claymore. I pick them up and cautiously look around with both pistols in hand. Suddenly one of the shadow figures appears in front of me. I raise my right arm to fire the gun, but I just hear a click.

'Shit, they don't have ammo', I thought as I literally fell on my ass with the shadowy figure before me.

"Don't fret young master for we aren't here to harm you, but to serve and guide you." The shadowy figure said with a feminine voice.

"I hereby grant you power beyond natural laws of knowledge to aid you in your quest to seek the one you have lost." The shadowy figure continued as my body burst into flames.

"Be safe my young master for you will soon learn of your true nature." The shadowy figure finally said as I close my eyes and everything fades to black.

I wake up to see a bunch of trees around me and hear noises throughout what seems to be a forest. I get up and look around to nothing but trees until I spot a castle in the distance heading towards the deeper parts of the forest. I look down to see if I have dropped anything before I head to the castle.

After about a half hour walk I arrive at the castle. I then walked into the castle which upon closer inspection seem to be in a bit of ruin. I grab my claymore as I begin to explore the insides of the castle. After a few minutes, I hear footsteps and voices. I run behind a pillar next to some rubble and hide while looking at whoever is approaching.

I see three figures emerge from the hall and they looked like horses? I rubbed my eyes to see if I was being tricked, but lo and behold I see three bipedal horse-like creatures. They all seemed to female as I looked at their chests as they were walking about. The first one had light yellow fur with red hair and gold-colored eyes and was wearing a white shirt with jean shorts, the second one had white fur with pink and purple hair and green colored eyes and a horn in the middle of her forehead and was also wearing a white shirt but with a modest length skirt, and the third one had orange fur with purple hair and violet colored eyes and wings extending from her back and wearing a white shirt as well but with a black jacket and black shorts. I stayed hidden as I began to hear them talk.

"Applebloom, it's no use wasting our time here looking for a dumb book anymore!" The orange one said to the yellow one.

"Well, Scootaloo I think you're right on this one." The yellow one said back to the orange one.

"Girls, I think I found something." The white one said holding a book.

"Sweetie Belle, you found the book we're lookin' for." The yellow one said to the white one with joy.

I still remained hidden as I continued to observe the three girls until a group of wooden wolves had appeared in front of the girls. I immediately leaped out of hiding while grabbing a stick that was right beside me and ran towards the girls. I pulled out a lighter and set the stick I had on fire and threw it at what seemed to be the alpha of the pack.

"We have to run!!!" I yelled at the girls as I had run past them.

After running for a few minutes I noticed I was out of the castle and that the girls were right behind.

"Hey, are you all fine?" I asked as I quickly catching my breath from running.

"Yes, we are because of you." The white one said to me.

"So, I have a couple of questions as to what you girls are and where are we," I said to them as I found a spot to sit down.

"Well, mister we are ponies." The yellow one said as she and the other girls sat down with me.

"And we're in the Everfree Forest." The white one said to me as I began to process the information.

"Alright, so what are your names?" I asked them even though I knew them for earlier.

"I'm Applebloom. I'm Sweetie Belle. I'm Scootaloo. And we're the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" The girls said in unison.

"Alright then, well can you lead me to the nearest town, please?" I asked as I stood up.

"Sure, mister we would be glad to do so," Applebloom said with a smile as she and the girls stood up.

"Please, don't call mister it makes me a bit uncomfortable, my name is Vyncent," I said as I followed the girls heading north.

'Well, this is going to be an interesting journey.' I thought as I continued on following these girls to a nearby town.
