My Shattered Soul: Starting Anew

I was in that in between zone of wakefulness and sleep, when I felt the castle shudder.

"What the fuck is going on" I wondered aloud. I knew that Cadence's and that twat Shining Armour's wedding was today, but I declined going with Luna being sick. I was about to step out our chamber doors when another shudder hit the castle. "Ok, now I know something is going on." Checking on Luna, she was thankfully still sleeping. I just hope she stays that way. She is CRANKY when woken up. When I stepped out, I could see guards running everywhere. Stopping a Solar I asked what was going on.

"We are under attack, my Prince. From what I know it started at the wedding."

"Where is the Lunars?"

"On the way now."

"Good. Where is Claymore and my crew at?"

"I don't know my Lord, but I know that five of the SG was outside the throne room."

"Ok, you stay here for the moment. When the Lunars get here make sure they deploy as they should."

"As you order your Highness" he said saluting.

"I'm going to see what the hell is going on."

I took my leave from the guard and headed to the throne room. When I got there, I found a pile of bodies in front of the doors and five very pissed off Sky Guards.

"Clay! What the fuck are changelings doing here?"

"I don't know J, but they wanted in the throne room and we can't get in."

"Is the shield still up?"

"No, it's down."

"Send a runner to rally all guard units and engage the changelings. You will stay here and guard the doors. I will deal with whatever is going on in there."

"As you wish J." I left them and went back up two floors. When I found a balcony that was above the throne room balcony I jumped over the side and landed outside the throne room. When I looked in I was stunned. Chrysalis? Here? To say I was surprised is a understatement. I destroyed her and her hive over a millennia ago, but here she is engaged in a magic struggle with Tia. She will not survive this time I vowed to myself.

I summoned my sword to me and in grand style destroyed the balcony doors. The noise and dust distracted everypony in the room. When I walked in Celestia smirked and Chrysalis hissed at me.

"I see you somehow survived. I want to know how" I growled out.

"Like I'll tell you blight. How are you still alive. You should be dead."

"Being soulbound and married to a alicorn has its perks. I'm not going to let you get away alive. I made that mistake once."

"Like you could harm me. I have been feeding on Shining Armour's love for Cadence for a week now. I can exceed Celestia in power."

"Bitch please. Tia is strong yes, but I outclass her." I looked at my sister in law and nodded.

"Are you sure J? There's no going back when I cast the spell."

"Do it." The next instant I was surrounded by Tia's golden magic. I knew what was going to happen. I would be showing my true self. I closed my eyes waiting for it to end. Hearing a chorus of "what" I opened my eyes. They would be seeing a sunflower yellow alicorn stallion with a night sky black mane and tail. In this form I was a head taller than Celestia.

"Your end has come Chrysalis.There will not be any mercy." Charging the queen, I shoulder rammed her through the wall. I wanted to take this fight outside. I wanted it over quick and didn't want anypony else getting hurt, so I cast the one of the strongest spells I knew. I call it the Seven Swords of Heaven. With it I get seven swords with elemental properties.

"Goodbye and good riddance Chrysalis." She had no defence against a spell of that strength. Trying to stop one or two swords is hard enough, but throw seven in the mix, nope. It was only a few moments before all that was left of Chrysalis was bloody chunks.

"Was that really necessary brother" Tia asked looking a little green.

"I was irritated and didn't feel like playing with her stupid ass. I can't believe she survived and was dumb enough to attack Canterlot." I started to look around to see if I needed to help anywhere, but with the queens death all of the other changelings started to drop dead.

"I just hope that little show didn't wake Luna."

"I hope she recovers from whatever she had caught. LuLu has never been sick before."

"She will in about ten months." Tia looked at me strangely. "Think about it" I said with a shit eating grin. Next thing I know, I'm on the throne room floor buried under a extremely happy sun goddess.

"OW! Damn it Tia! That still hurts."

"Oh get over it brother. I'm going to be a aunt" she squealed out.

"You'll be short a brother in law if you don't stop bouncing on me. I think I heard a rib break."

"Go cry me a river. I watched Discord drop a mountain on you before. It only pissed you off."

"I was fighting for my life then. I'm starting think I am now. I feel like a trampoline." That's when I noticed all the other staring at us. "Uh, Tia. Our little ponies are in shock. What do we do?"

Looking out across the room she shrugged. "They'll be okay in a few minutes. Just give them time." A moment later another giddy alicorn jumped on me.

"Oh, do I get a little cousin from what I just heard?"

"Ok, now it's official. Other than my wife, the mares in my life are trying to kill me. Although..." I trailed off thinking of what Luna would do to me in ten months. "Yep. When she goes into labour, I'm a dead man." Tia started laughing at me.

"LuLu might cripple you, but kill you, not likely. Still the likelihood of it happening..." Both of them broke down into a fit of giggling when they noted the look on my face.

"Can I get up now? Please."

"Oh, ok brother."

My getting back to all fours brought out more gasps. I flared my wings and shook myself from my muzzle to flank. I folded my wings back to my side's and cracked my neck. When I looked back, quite a few pegasus mares had flared wings.

"Never seen a alicorn stallion have you" I asked with a snicker.

"How is this possible? It makes no sense. Your human. Not a pony."

"Actually, your wrong Twilight. When him and Luna was soulbound, it turned him into a unicorn. Then many years later, because of all the good he had done, he ascended. He always chose to hide himself, but that's no longer a option."

"Why is that?"

"Because of my ties with Luna, I could change back and forth, but if Celestia casts the spell its permanent. Ok, enough of that. We have clean up and a wedding to do."
