In Which Luna is President
Luna is Elected, that went well...
It was the scariest day on earth. For months, two titans battled out in debates and commercials, competing for a kingdom. Tremors of fear and excitment were in the air, as people glued to their seats watched the TV for the decision that affects the rest of their lives. Or 4 years. The presidential election. The winners would be announced soon. And millions of people were watching.
"And the winner of the 50th American presidential election is..." It was starting! With Hillary Clinton running against Donald Trump, it had been a fierce battle. Many joke votes for Mickey Mouse had been cast, and some people voted for neither. As excited Democrats and Republicans alike waited, everyone held their breath. The person who was elected would change the course of history forever. Their was a brief drumroll, and then..
"IS... PRINCESS LUNA!!!!!" What?

Shock was in the air. Princess Luna of Equestria? How did she fit the criteria? Could she really run? People whispered amongst themselves as Princess Luna walked up to the podium. She cleared her throat causing the room to fall silent. Luna smiled and took a deep breath, before addressing the masses in the traditional royal canterlot voice.
"Thank you mares and gentlecolts alike! It is a great honor to have been elected not only your first female president, but also your first pony president. I can guarantee that you will be excited for voting for me, as I promise to make America the best nation in the ENTIRE MULTIVERSE!" The entire room began to clap and scream in excitment .
"PRINCESS LUNA!! PRINCESS LUNA!! PRESIDENT LUNA!!!!!!!!!" They chanted. Luna smiled and flew off the podium, doing tricks in the air. Her runningmate, Twilight Sparkle, led the onlookers in a cheer. Move over Obama, President Luna has come!
The First Days
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh OH MY GOSH!!!!" Twilight screamed. She, the mane 7, and Celestia had all been invited to stay in the White House with President Luna! Cadence had taken over Canada, and as such changed her name to Canadance! The countries new motto was 'Sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake!' Twilight shoke her head. She was living in a historical site, and that always made her happy.
"So Luna, what have you been doing?" Celestia asked. Luna smiled widely, her eyes glistening in the light. Privately, Celetia thought she looked cute.
"I signed an order the rename the White House, the Night House, changed our national anthem to Children of the Night, made our national bird the Great Horned Owl, and our national mammal the Brown Bat, and signed an order that means we are now officially all nocturnal."
"That's a lot!" Celestia was impressed. "I thought Congress would stop you!" Luna giggled,
"I know! Turns out that the ponies I rule over back in Equestria make up congress! I still am a princess there, and they are still equestrian citizen! I love rulin!" Luna turned to a door which led to a brilliant office. " And here is my office! As you can see, I made it all blue and black." The room was dark, but not too dark as little stars hanged from the ceiling. Over the desk, a plaque read, 'The fun has been doubled!'
"Wow." Celestia said. "Just wow." Luna jumped on one of the couches in the room.
"Like it?"
"Like it?" Celestia started, "I LOVE It!!!" Luna smiled.
"Hoped you would. Anyway, let see how you like the dining room, all meals are cooked fit for a princess. Which I am." The two alicorn laughed there head off.
PRESIDENT LUNA CONQUERS MEXICO
In recent news, our current president has decided to conquer the world. She has conquered Mexico, Canada, and Panama. When asked to explain why,
She stated, "I believe in equal rights for all people. As such, we need to make sure an immortal dictator rules us all. I am that immortal dictator." When asked if she feared any assassination attempts due to her decision, she quote, "I am immortal. It is impossible to kill me. If somepony tried, they would find that even if they chopped off my head, it would regrow." In other news, an adorable kitten was found in Paris.
PRESIDENT LUNA MANDATES BANISHMENT TO TARTURUS FOR LIBRARY BOOK DAMAGE
Our amazing President Luna has saved our library books! If anyone damages a library book, the fine is 10,000$ for the first offense. Subsequent offenses increase that amount by 5,000$ each, and banishment to Tartuarus for 3 years on the third offense. President Luna admits that Vice President Twilight Sparkle influenced her decision a bit but ultimately she decided. "Our children need to read more," quotes Luna, "but how can they do that if the books are destroyed?" In other news, President Luna has conqured all of North and South America and is headed towards Asia.
Luna was happy. She had just made 3 life changing decisions and was now kicking it back on her Pontendo. "Mrs. President!"
"What?" With a sigh, Luna turned off her Pontendo. The goombas would still be squashable tomorrow. A man in a suit and a tie was racing over to her. He looked worried.
"China is threatening to blow up the building! We need an answer Ms. President, what will we do?" Luna looked at the panic-stricken person.
"You Americans, so worried," Luna shook her head, "it's obvious isn't it? Evacuate the building and everyone in close proximity, and let my vice handle it."
"But, but, Ms. President, wouldn't that hurt Ms. Vice President Twilight Sparkle?" Luna laughed.
"She is an alicorn who can control the equestrian equivalent of nuclear weapons of friendship. Her friends prevented a war with Yakyakistan. And she is insanely powerful. She can handle it." Luna looked at the person, who was clearly shocked.
"W-w-well if you say so..." he began to direct Luna to an exit. Idiot. she thought, I'm physically unable to be killed.
People were panicking, running towards exits. She saw Twilight and her friends running with the elements off harmony to stop the united Asian countries. She couldn't wait to get back to playing games.
PRESIDENT LUNA SAVES KITTEN!
Hurrah! Our brand new president saved a kitten! Accourding to animal experts, the kitten was, 'highly cute' In other news, the world is now fully under President Luna's control.
Principal Celestia logged off her computer. CNN generally published bad news. "Luna?" she called, "could you stop hacking the CNN teleprompter?"
