After an event in the Everfree, princess Luna gets a fox's curse, and is possessed by a fox spirit. As many of the kingdom's loyal subjects fall into despair, Trixie and a scallywag must travel to the Twins, a pair of islands off the coast of Vanhoover. They must search and obtain a rare item, a demon-slaying bow, blessed by the thunder god himself. But standing in their way are nightmarish monsters, samurai, and distrustful locals. Will Trixie and her companion get the bow and make it back to free Luna? Or will Luna's soul and the moon be the fox spirit's trophies forever?
