Another chapter of The Legend of Starlight, sorry for this one to take soo long but i was busy with other stuf, anyway, see ya guys later, and don't forget to comment.

Evil alies

It was a quiet night in Ponyville, the flowers lay to catch the sunshine the next day and feed on these, the birds slept peacefully on the tree branches and the roofs of the houses to get up early in the morning to Wake up the ponies with their beautiful song, the wide and somewhat simplistic streets of the village were partially empty, at this time of night there were not many ponies in the streets of the place and those who were in the streets were going either to the nightclub to listening to Vinyl mixing or heading home, the latter was the case of Fluttershy who moved throught the streets of the village heading home, she had left her house at the last minute to buy a few bands and products to care for animals because didn't had the time to do it during the course of the day since she had been very busy assisting Starlight and Twilight in what she could with its calibration of the device they're working on, it had passed a week and a half since Twilight and Starlight began working on the reader and they had hardly progressed, but considering how sensitive the device was, it was expected that the calibration was the most difficult part of it. While Fluttershy walked throught the streets of Ponyville, she decided to take a shortcut throught an alley to her house.

"Hello girl ..." a voice sounds from a corner of the alley

"AAAAHHH!" Scream Fluttershy hiding startled for the sudden voice behind her, after a few seconds she look at the poni"Oh ... sorry, you scared me ..." she says in a slightly altered tone to the pony.

"Already noticed ..." says the unicorn, approaching Fluttershy and pushing her, the subject was beige, with brown mane and tail and a cutie mark with the black bit symbol" So ... tell me ... what is doing someone like you around here at this time?"

"Erm ... well ... I ... I was buying some things and I was going to my house throught this shortcut ..."answers Fluttershy timidly.

"Really? How curious ... you'll see ..."

"Get away from her," a male voice sounds behind the unicorn. Fluttershy and the unicorn turned to see a pony at the entrance of the alley, the pony wore a hooded red wine jacket.

"Excuse me?" Asks the unicorn, turning to see the pony.

"I told you to stay away from her," says the pony.

"Oh, you have no idea of the problem you got into" says the unicorn casting a spell on the mysterious pony, however, the pony dodges the attack with ease as he ran towards the unicorn, the unicorn stepped back and immediately launched a rain of spells To the mysterious pony, but no one managed to hit him, finally, in the middle of a panic attack, tried to take Fluttershy as hostage, but he realized that for some strange reason he couldn't move, something prevented him to,he looked up To see the pony whose horn emitted a bluish glow, at that moment, the pony began to approach slowly to the unicorn.

"No, get away from me, leave me alone!" Cries the unicorn struggling, trying to free himself from his opponent's magical grip, but without accomplishing anything, the mysterious pony placed his horn on his forehead and then Unicorn fell to the ground, the pony turned around and began to withdraw from the place, the unicorn saw this as an opportunity and tried to cast a spell on the pony, but nothing came out.

"What did you do to me?" Asks the altered unicorn.

"I've taken away all your magic and abilities, you've been ... How to say it? Equalized? "Asks the curious pony just so that at that moment the unicorn attacks him, while all this happened, Fluttershy had taken advantage of the distraction to escape the place, fleeing in terror of everything.

"Girls ... we have a problem ..." says Twilight entering the room on the map.

"Now what happened?" Any other problems with the magic reader? "Rainbow asks dullly.

"No, even worse, this morning the royal guards here in Ponyville found a unicorn without magic in an alley, unconscious and with several bruises on the head"

"HERE, IN PONYVILLE?" Rarity shouts in surprise.

"Yes, here in Ponyville"

"That means she knows we're investigating her, she's coming for us!" "Pinkie scream trying to run out of the room just to be stopped by Applejack.

"Not so fast, I think, you already did a lot of damage the last time running around the streets shouting that 'they were going to destroy us all' ... now ... Are you sure it's the mysterious pony?" Applejack asks Twilight.

"No doubt, it's the same pony, but it has perfected its spell, it removes the magic but does not leave the pony in a deplorable state" explains Twilight.

"But didn't the guards found the pony unconscious?"

"Yes, but with bruises, a sign that there was a fight, the bruises were made with magic blows to incapacitate, not to hurt of gravity, the unicorn in question was a subject with antecedents, robbery, scammer, among other crimes.

"Twilight, erm, By chance the unicorn was beige with mane and brown tail and a cutie mark with the symbol of the bit but black?"asks Fluttershy quietly.

"Have you seen him in the streets?"

"No ... I met him in the alley of South Star Street,when i was headins for my house."

"Did he stole anything from you?! Are you okay?! He didn't do you any harm?!" Rarity asks.

"No ... a pony with a hooded red wine jacket appeared and faced him ... took away it's magic..."

"Did you saw the pony that removes the magic?!" They all asked in surprise.

"Yes ..." Fluttershy said quietly.

"So ... did he save you?" Rainbow asks.

"Basically ..."

"You said Red wine jacket, anything else?" Twilight asks, taking notes.

"Yes, it was a woman's jacket, but I do not remember anything else ... ah and I had a masculine voice ..."

"Then she was a mare something else?"

"Darling, it dosen't necessarily have to be a mare, as odd as it sounds, there are certain stallions that have certain women's garments, tell me, darling. What was the jacket like?" Rarity asks.

"What's that going to do to catch him?" Applejack asks.

"Do we even want to catch him?" Rainbow asks.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asks.

"All the ponies that have been stripped of their magic have a criminal record. Why should we stop him?"

"Because it could be a possible threat to the other innocent ponies in this town, and the fact that we have made public the fact that we were investigating about him and then a few weeks later he appears in this town only makes it clear that he's going after us to stop us before we find out who he is"

"If so, why did he protect Fluttershy?"

"I have to agree with Rainbow on that, if it really was after us. Why didn't he do Fluttershy anything like take her natural magic or attack her, or kidnap her, or something? I think this mysterious mare or stallion despite using unorthodox methods has managed to reduce crime in Equestria slightly"responds Applejack.

"I ... erm ... well, it saved me ... so ... I don't think it's really a bad pony..." Fluttershy says.

"Well, if Princess Celestia says it can be a threat I'll take it as such" Twilight replies firmly.

"I have to support Twilight in this, a pony who believes can be above the law should not gain our trust, we should continue working on capturing it" says Rarity

"Imagine, if you are so evil as to take away the magic from the bad guys, imagine what you could do to the good ponies, you could turn them on food and then eat them or turn them into cake and eat them or turn them into little snacks and eat them, or…"

"Okay Pinkie, we understood the point," says Twilight interrupting her.

"Good morning," Star says, entering the room yawning.

"Star, it's good to see you, you can help us resolve a dispute and ... What happened to your cheek?" Twilight asks.

"I don't know ... it's strange ... but ... mmm ... it seems okay ... it could be ... but ... no ... you're not like that anymore..."

I think we can be dealing with a species of vigilante"

"Exactly, a vigilante, a pony who watches over for the good of others, not a criminal" Rainbow defends the mysterious pony.

"Yes, but how long will it last? Power brings out the worst of the ponies" comments Twilight

"Not really, power demonstrates how we actually are, not the worst of us, what happens is that it's more common to see the bad things than the good ones, we usually look at the black point and we do not see that the whole wall is white, It's easier to name bad things in a being than good things, we keep negative memories instead of positive ones, we forget the good things we should remember and we can't stop remembering the bad things we should forget"

"Wow ..." they all said staring at Starlight.

"Did i said something wrong?"

"No, now ... then ... you're in favor of catching him, aren't you?" Twilight asks.

"Yes, Twilight, I'm in favor, but at the same time I say we should have consideration that maybe it's not a bad pony, maybe is someone who just does what he thinks is right ..." Starlight tells the group.

"Well ... we still have to stop him ... before he makes a mistake, we will work not to lock him up, but to stop him before he does something he regrets later, what do you girls think?"

"I can live with that" says Rainbow.

"That's an apple I'm willing to bite" says Applejack.

"I see no problem in helping that pony..." Fluttershy says.

"Let's help this pony girl!" Pinkie shouts excitedly.

"Then it's settled, let's work to find this pony and help it" Starlight said cheerfully, that things were going good for everyone in the room.
