My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic (The New Member)

Night had arrived over the horizon and the people of United Equestria were all getting ready for bed. Jewel and her Starfleet friends had just returned from another battle with Sombra. Jewel recieved a Pawpawsaurus and Saichanina card during the battle.

"Man that was tough," Lighting stated.

"You said it," Starla agreed.

"Alright my brave ponies. You all better get some rest you can all sleep in the guest rooms." Grand Ruler offered. Everybody happily praised Grand Ruler in thanks and headed off to bed.

Jewel went back to her room and fell asleep.

Jewel's Dream

Jewel and her Starfleet friends were battling Sombra.

"STARLFEET MAGIC"

Lighting: "Power of Believing!"

Starla: "Power of Space!"

Buddy: "Power of Flora!"

Artie: "Power of Art!"

Rhymey: "Let us begin...Power of the wind!"

Dyno and Myte: "Power of Fire!"

Everybody transformed....except Jewel.

"Aww does poor little Jewel not have an elemental force. You can't rely on your dinosaur every battle. I doubt your even considered an actual part of the team," Sombra taunted.

Jewel then found herself in a dark void. There were voices all around her.

"No elemtal force?!", "What a weakling", "She'll properly never get one. She'll never truly be part of the team."

Jewel wakes up with sweat coming down her foerhead and she wipes it off an calms her breathing. She gets out of her bed and walks to the tallest terrace in the New Canterlot Palace. She stared at the white glowing moon.

"Whats my elemental force?" Jewel thought.

"Jewel"

Jewel turned and saw Queen Celestia, Grand Ruler and Princesses Luna and Cadence. They were looking at her with concern.

"What are you doing up at this hour Jewel?" Cadence asked.

"Well...I am really a part of Starfleet?" Jewel asked.

"Of course you are Jewel. You fight to protect the universe and fend off evil." Luna stated.

"Yea but...am I truly a part of Starfleet?" Jewel asked.

"What do you mean?" Grand Ruler asked.

Jewel put her head down a little, an expression of sadness was on her face.

"I mean everybody has an elemental force, but me. You have the Power of Knowledge. Queen Celestia has the Power of Light. Princess Luna has the Power of Dark. Princess Cadence has the Power of Love. Lighting and all my friends have an elemental force...except me. How can I truly be a Starfleet member without one?

Jewel turned back to the moon and began to sing:

Queen Celestia walks up to Jewel and puts a hand on her shoulder.

Princess Luna walks towards her sister and Jewel and sings as well:

"Your elemental force will reveal itself Jewel...one day" Princess Luna reassured.

Princesses Luna and Cadence, Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia all went back to their rooms to rest. Jewel stayed out a little longer staring at the moon wondering if they are right.

The next morning, everybody was enjoying a pancake breakfast.

"Man I love my elemental force!," Lighting stated.

"Yea mine too!" Starla agreed.

"Si, everybody has their own elemental force." Dyno stated.

"Si everybody!" Myte added.

"Well not everybody." Princess Luna objected.

Lightning and his friends looked at her in confusion,

"What do you mean Princess?" Artie asked.

"It might be better to show you all."

Quen Celstia and Grand Ruler used their magic to show the team what occurred last night. When the image vanished everyone felt guilty.

"We completely forgot Jewel still doesn't have a elemental force," Dyno said.

"Poor chica." Myte added.

"But why does she feel left out?" Lighting asked.

"Jewel thinks that because she doesn't have an elemental force like all of you, shes not a true part of the team." Grand Ruler explained. Everybody felt bad for Jewel.

Jewel came in with small bags under her eyes and had a tired smile on her face. She sat down between Dyno and Myte and began eating her breakfast. Nobody said anything to her because they knew she had alot on her mind.

After breakfast, Jewel went to the library to see if she could find anyhting that could tell her how to unlock her elemental force. Sadly, no book held the answer.

Jewel felt frustrated and sad, then she began to burst into tears. Styraco and Tricera, who had been following her all morning came in and set on either side of their owner and nuzzled her as she sobs,

"I'll never find my element or truly be part of the team!"

Lightning, his friends and the royal alicorns heard Jewel's sobbing and came in. Lighting and his friends all surrounded Jewel and hugged her as she cried.

After ten minutes, Jewel calmed down and the gang seperated.

"You will find your elemental force Jewel," Starla reassured while stroking Jewel's hair.

"Si chica," Dyno and Myte added.

Jewel sniffled and smiled,

"Thanks guys." Jewel praised.

Everybody, including the royal alicorns smiled at Jewel.
