My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic (The New Member)

After a few more hours, Jewel injuries were healed and now she was walking with her new friends in New Ponyville, their hometown.

“It’s all so peaceful,” she complimented,

Then, Jewel’s stomach growled and she blushed in embarrassment,

“Sorry, all of that excitement made me work up an appetite,” Jewel explained

“Don’t worry, we know a friend who makes the best food,

He’ll fill your stomach up quite good,” Rhymey said.

The gang took Jewel to Cookie Dough’s Restaurant and entered. A blue alicorn came in wearing a chef’s hat and apron,

“Ah, my best customers, what can I do for you all?” he asked,

“Hi Cookie, this is our new friend Jewel,” Artie introduced.

“Hi,” Jewel said.

Jewel’s stomach growled again and she blushed,

“Oh my, I will not have this, not in my restaurant,” Cookie said.

Before Jewel knew it she was eating the most delicious meal she ever had. The gang watched her and smiled.

After a while, Jewel ate so much that she fell asleep on the table. The gang approached her and saw here peacefully sleeping.

“Come on let’s get her back home,” Lighting said.

Starla placed Jewel on her back. They all said goodbye to Cookie Dough and went to Lightning's house. Starla place Jewel on the couch and Krysta place a blanket on her.

Suddenly, the alarms sounded

“Attention everybody! There’s an attack in the Yellow Hills!” Grand Ruler reported to everybody.

“Let’s go!”

Lightning led his team to the Yellow Hills and saw a familiar threat: King Sombra and Queen Chysailis!

“You two again!” Starla yelled,

“That’s right, I have returned. And now YOU ALL SHALL PAY! Now, let’s get this party started!” Sombra said. He absorbed a lot of darkness and grew up to fifteen feet tall!

“STARFLEET MAGIC!”

Lightning’s team transformed into their Starfleet battle armor and the two sides clashed into battle.

Lighting: “Power of Believing!”

Starla: “Power of Space!”

Buddy Rose: “Power of Flora!”

Artie: “Power of Art!”

Dyno & Myte: “Power of Fire!”

Rhymey: “I summon within...Power of Wind!”

The gang charged Sombra and Chrysalis, ready to battle. They kicked, punched and rammed the villains, but it barely left a mark. Sombra and Chrysalis sent a powerful shockwave at the gang, making them hit the ground. They all struggled to get up and continued to fight on.

Meanwhile, Jewel was sleeping when she heard a loud explosion that woke her up.

“What was that?” She thought

Jewel heard the explosion again. Getting off of the couch, Jewel exited the house and followed the explosion sounds to the Yellow Hills. When Jewel arrived, she saw Lightning and his pals battling King Sombra and Queen Chysailis...the ones who attacked her!

Both sides were battling fiercely, the Sombra and Chrysalis sent a powerful blast at the team, injuring them further. Lightning and his friends were bruised, battered and weakened. Sombra and Chrysalis had came back with some more power.

The team was getting tired and their suits began to power down from taking so many hits.

“Now...what mi amigo?” Dyno asked

“Esto es terrible, What are we going to do?” Myte added

“I-I Don't know,” Lightning answered, “ He's stronger than before,”

Then Sombra and Chrysalis blasted the team, sending them skidding across the ground. Jewel was horrified. Jewel knew she had to help them, but what could she do?

Then,

“Jewel.. Jewel”

Jewel scanned the area for the source of the voices and in the distance she saw six stones.

They all had a symbol on each of them: Lighting, Water, Grass, Wind, Earth and Fire.

She went towards them, bend down and picked them all up and she began to glowing rainbow colors along with the stones.

“Use these to help you save your friends, use them wisely,” the voice said.

Then six decks of cards with about twenty attack cards appeared along with bracer and card holder. The cards magically were placed in the card holder was clipped onto her pants and the bracer teleported onto Jewel’s left wrist. The six stones teleported into the bracer and it glowed.

“AHHHHHH!!!!”

Jewel turned around and saw Lightning and his team getting creamed by the evil duo. Sombra had them all stunned by his shockwaves. They were all wailing and screaming in agony.

“You know what to do!”

Jewel narrowed her eyes and stepped into the open.

“LEAVE THEM ALONE!” she yelled

Everybody turned and saw Jewel.

“Jewel, runaway he’s too dangerous!” Lightning groaned.

“Si, chica,” Dyno added.

“Run away,” Myte groaned.

“Well, well, well, we meet again Jewel. Care to see your friends meet their demise” Sombra taunted.

At the New Canterlot Palace, hope was rapidly fading.

“What is Jewel doing?!,” Goldwin asked out loud, “there’s no way she can beat Sombra by herself!”

Goldwin was a golden statue who wore a mask that allows him to come to life.

“There has to be a way for them to beat Sombra and Chrysalis,” Grand Ruler said.

“By the way things are looking I don't think there is a way.” Celestia added.

Back at the battlefield...

“Leave my friends alone, or else!” Jewel demanded.

“Or what?, you have no special powers.” Sombra taunted.

“Oh yea?”

Jewel showed her new bracer and card holder. She pressed the button on the card holder and a card with a Styracosaurus and Triceratops on them came out.

She swiped the card through the opening in the bracer yelling,

“Dino-Slash! Styracosaurus, Triceratops Roar!”

Soon two tiny dinosaurs showed and spun in the air, their entire bodies changed into a fully grown dinosaurs. They dropped from the sky onto the ground with a big “THUMP”.

They landed in between the Starfleet fighters and Sombra and Chrysalis. They roared. The two dinosaurs only came up to Sombra’s waist.

“Ha, those things is no match for me!,” Sombra said confidently.

Sombra and Chrysalis charged the dinosaurs and blasted a shockwave at it, but to everyone's shock the dinos absorbed the attack!

“What?! Impossible!”

The Styracosaurus charged Sombra and Chrysalis they were thrown back, slamming into the ground hard. Lightning and the team were amazed.

Sombra and Chrysalis blasted dark beam of magic at Styracosaurus.

“LOOK OUT!” the gang screamed.

Jewel pushes the button on her card holder and an attack card came out. She swiped the card saying,

“NOW LIGHTNING STRIKE!,”

Styracosaurus and Triceratops roared and a ball of lighting formed in the center of their horns. They reared up and blasted the beam. It collided and disintegrated the duo's attack hitting him and causing him a lot of damage.

“I may be beaten today, but next time won't be so easy,” Sombra snarled.

Then he vanishes into the forest. Jewel turned and saw her friends moaning, barely able to move.

“*Gasp* guys!,”

Jewel ran to them. They were in bad shape!

“Oh, what am I gonna do?,” Jewel asked herself. Then a warp portal opened up and Krysta came through.

“Quick we can get them to the Palace Sickbay through here,” she explained.

Jewel nodded.

Jewel carried Lightning, Starla and the twins while Krysta carried Rhymey, Artie and Buddy Rose. Jewel returned the dinos to their cards form and placed them in her pocket. The girls jumped through the portal and were immediately greeted by Dr. Penny and the doctor staff.

They all got to work on treating the gang’s injuries, luckily they were nothing serious. Jewel was relieved.
