My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic (The New Member)

It has been six weeks since Jewel became part of Lightning Starfleet unit. She trained every single day and practice her dinosaur attacks. Grand Ruler, Queen Celestia and the gang were proud of her. Lightning introduced Jewel to Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, her brother, Shining Armor and her sister-in-law, Princess Cadence as well as Goldwin.

Everybody was amazed by Jewel’s first battle.

One day the alarms sounded, there was a danger in the Yellow Hills again. Lightning, his team, Twilight and her friends as well as the royal alicorns and Shining Armor all rushed to the scene. When they got there they saw Sombra and Chrysalis, waiting for them.

“Sombra, Chrysalis!” everybody yelled.

Sombra and Chrysalis looked and smirked at the gang,

Well, looks like we got more than we expected,” Chrysalis stated.

Sombra and her got into battle stances as well as the team.

“ATTACK!” Grand Ruler Shouted.

Both sides charged at each other, they were about to clash when Chrysalis used her magic to stop the gang in their tracks and tied them all up together with an anti-magic rope. The teams suits de-energized, leaving them in their regular patrol armor.

“Hey,” Lighting exclaimed. Everybody tried to get out but no progress.

“Hahaha, now we've got you right where we want you!” Chrysalis stated.

“Let us go!” Queen Celestia demanded.

“No, now we are going have a little fun that we called...payback. HAHAHAH!!!” Sombra yelled.

And the duo vanished into thin air, along with the Starfleet gang. What nobody saw was Jewel. She saw the whole thing.

“What am I gonna do?”

She then saw a scroll on the ground, she picked it up and read it:

To Jewel,
If you ever want to see you friends again meet was at Fire Mountain. And another little thing...I want a duel against you and so does Chrysalis.
So come...if you dare!

Jewel was in total shock!

Back at New Canterlot, everybody was in a panic. Without the Grand Ruler, Queen Celestia or any of the most powerful ponies in United Equestria, they were completely vulnerable to an attack. Someone had to rescue them, but the only one who could do that was Jewel. She was the only one who had the power to match Sombra and Chrysalis.

“I can’t save them. Chrysalis and Sombra are too powerful for me!” Jewel objected.

“But you beat Sombra and Chrysalis the last time with your Styracosaurus and Triceratops,” Goldwin pointed out,

“They weren't ready that time, nnow they are! I’ll be toast!” Jewel added, “I just..can’t do it”

Jewel turned around and walked out to the tallest terrace in the New Canterlot Palace and started to sing:

It isn't that I'm ungrateful

For all the things that occurred

For all the magic i’ve been taught now

All the lessons that I have learned

But i wonder if i'll save the day

Without my friends to help me though

I don't know how to battle

With a duo that is so strong

Goldwin and Professor Brain came out onto the terrace and stared at Jewel in concern

I have my wings

I have my suit

I’m on Starfleet, this is true

But it's still unclear to me

Just how I can save the day

I'm not a wiz at magic

Never had a magic duel

I just don't think I am ready

Because I really doubt I’m prepared

Goldwin approached Jewel and placed a hand on her shoulder and sang:

(Goldwin)

We know this quest is sudden

And that's sometimes hard to take

But it will become much clearer

With every new choice you make

Brain came up next and sang as well:

(Brain)

Combat is never easy

I understand how you feel

I know how hard it is to learn

At something that is new

(Both)

But they chose you for a reason

You’re gifted and you strong

You're part of the Starfleet team because

You belong

Know that you're time

“You can save them Jewel, just like you did before” Goldwin encouraged. Jewel thought for a minute and said with confidence,

“You’re right Goldwin! I can save them just like I did before!,”

Jewel then ran out of the palace and straight for the blacktop mountain that was on the other side of the forest near New Canterlot. She knew that she was the one who can save the day!

As Jewel nears Blacktop Mountain, she begins to have second thoughts, can she continue with the help of a new friend?

And, the captured gang are about to get cooked...literally!
