Artie Bristles: A masterful artist in painting, sculpting, carving, you name it. ID-Code: HV7J Rhymey: A poet, song writer and café proprietor, who always spoke in rhyme. ID-Code: XL7Z The Spanish Twins, Dyno and Myte La Guava: Born on the Planet El Mundo, and the sons of a Starfleet General. Brilliant geologists, expert miners, movers, construction team, and explosive experts: ID Codes, IW8K and JX9L. Also his long-time, fairy friend, Krysta. All of them were part of a team of heroes called Starfleet, who fights to ward off evil. They each had their own super power to help in battle. While walking and talking with each other, a scroll came in front of Lightning. Lightning picked it up and read it. He gasped. “Come on gang, Grand Ruler wants to see us!” Lightning ordered. The gang rushed to the palace and entered the Grand Ruler’s throne room. The Grand Ruler, Lightning’s mentor and his wife, Queen Celestia, Twilight Sparkle’s mentor were waiting for them. “Thank you for coming everybody,” Grand Ruler said “What’s the problem, Master?” Lightning asked. “Hours ago, a few of the civilians discovered a female alicorn near the meadow, she was injured and in poor condition. We’ve brought her to the medical wing where she is now recovering.” Celestia explained, “follow me.” The gang follow the pair into the medical wing. They entered the room and saw a pink human-like alicorn with a white horn and pink wings. Her clothes and body were covered in dirt and grim. She was covered in bruises and scratches, looking like she'd been through a war! ‘Ay curumba!,” Dyno cried “Que paso?, ‘What happened?’”, Myte added “Will she okay?” Starla asked “I believe that she will make a full recovery.” Grand Ruler replied Then the girl began to groan and she opened her eyes and found alicorns like her, looking at her. “Hello, I’m Lightning Dawn,” Lightning introduced, “and these are my friends: Starla, Buddy Rose, Arite, Rhymey, Dyno, Myte, Krysta and my mentor and ruler, Grand Ruler. Along with his wife Queen Celestia” Lightning introduced. “Hello”, “Hola”, “Greetings,” Lighting’s friends, Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia replied. “H-Hi My name is J-Jewel.” she added nervously. “Do not be afraid Jewel we are all nice and friendly,” Queen Celestia soothed. Jewel calmed down. “Jewel, how did you get so injured?” Starla asked “Well, all I remember was that I was running away from a large tiger and horse… thing.. I think. They were blasted me and then one of them kicked me really, really hard. Then I saw a big humanoid pony and a unicorn with a red horn. I flew through space until I landed roughly on this planet, then I blacked out after that.” Jewel explained. The gang was shocked! “It cant be!.” Krysta concluded. “I thought we got rid of them!,” Starla exclaimed. “Before I blacked out I think I heard ‘My name is King….Sombra and Queen Chysailis?. Something like that and ‘Starfleet shall pay?,” That is what truly shocked everybody! “‘Ay Curumba!,” Dyno screamed. “Not them again!,” Myte said. “It can't be,” Queen Celestia said “Um… if I may ask. Who’s King Sombra and Queen Chysailis?” Jewel asked. The Grand Ruler explained about King Sombra and Queen Chysailis to Jewel all the way up to where they destroyed Sombra but he seems to have returned “Woah!” Jewel said, “You are safe here now Jewel,” Buddy declared. “We must place the war laws immediately!,” Grand Ruler added. “Lightning, I want you and your friends to show Jewel around the White Village.” Queen Celestia said. Lightning and his friends nodded. Jewel smiled. Now she has new friends but she still didn’t have a place to call home...yet. In our next episode… Lightning and the gang encounter King Sombra and are fighting a losing battle. But Jewel will receive a special and mystical power. Can Jewel save her friends? Jewel’s Special Power //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 2: Jewel's Special Power //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 2: Jewel's Special Power After a few more hours, Jewel injuries were healed and now she was walking with her new friends in New Ponyville, their hometown. “It’s all so peaceful,” she complimented, Then, Jewel’s stomach growled and she blushed in embarrassment, “Sorry, all of that excitement made me work up an appetite,” Jewel explained “Don’t worry, we know a friend who makes the best food, He’ll fill your stomach up quite good,” Rhymey said. The gang took Jewel to Cookie Dough’s Restaurant and entered. A blue alicorn came in wearing a chef’s hat and apron, “Ah, my best customers, what can I do for you all?” he asked, “Hi Cookie, this is our new friend Jewel,” Artie introduced. “Hi,” Jewel said. Jewel’s stomach growled again and she blushed, “Oh my, I will not have this, not in my restaurant,” Cookie said. Before Jewel knew it she was eating the most delicious meal she ever had. The gang watched her and smiled. After a while, Jewel ate so much that she fell asleep on the table. The gang approached her and saw here peacefully sleeping. “Come on let’s get her back home,” Lighting said. Starla placed Jewel on her back. They all said goodbye to Cookie Dough and went to Lightning's house. Starla place Jewel on the couch and Krysta place a blanket on her. Suddenly, the alarms sounded “Attention everybody! There’s an attack in the Yellow Hills!” Grand Ruler reported to everybody. “Let’s go!” Lightning led his team to the Yellow Hills and saw a familiar threat: King Sombra and Queen Chysailis! “You two again!” Starla yelled, “That’s right, I have returned. And now YOU ALL SHALL PAY! Now, let’s get this party started!” Sombra said. He absorbed a lot of darkness and grew up to fifteen feet tall! “STARFLEET MAGIC!” Lightning’s team transformed into their Starfleet battle armor and the two sides clashed into battle. Lighting: “Power of Believing!” Starla: “Power of Space!” Buddy Rose: “Power of Flora!” Artie: “Power of Art!” Dyno & Myte: “Power of Fire!” Rhymey: “I summon within...Power of Wind!” The gang charged Sombra and Chrysalis, ready to battle. They kicked, punched and rammed the villains, but it barely left a mark. Sombra and Chrysalis sent a powerful shockwave at the gang, making them hit the ground. They all struggled to get up and continued to fight on. Meanwhile, Jewel was sleeping when she heard a loud explosion that woke her up. “What was that?” She thought Jewel heard the explosion again. Getting off of the couch, Jewel exited the house and followed the explosion sounds to the Yellow Hills. When Jewel arrived, she saw Lightning and his pals battling King Sombra and Queen Chysailis...the ones who attacked her! Both sides were battling fiercely, the Sombra and Chrysalis sent a powerful blast at the team, injuring them further. Lightning and his friends were bruised, battered and weakened. Sombra and Chrysalis had came back with some more power. The team was getting tired and their suits began to power down from taking so many hits. “Now...what mi amigo?” Dyno asked “Esto es terrible, What are we going to do?” Myte added “I-I Don't know,” Lightning answered, “ He's stronger than before,” Then Sombra and Chrysalis blasted the team, sending them skidding across the ground. Jewel was horrified. Jewel knew she had to help them, but what could she do? Then, “Jewel.. Jewel” Jewel scanned the area for the source of the voices and in the distance she saw six stones. Then six decks of cards with about twenty attack cards appeared along with bracer and card holder. The cards magically were placed in the card holder was clipped onto her pants and the bracer teleported onto Jewel’s left wrist. The six stones teleported into the bracer and it glowed. “AHHHHHH!!!!” Jewel turned around and saw Lightning and his team getting creamed by the evil duo. Sombra had them all stunned by his shockwaves. They were all wailing and screaming in agony. “You know what to do!” Jewel narrowed her eyes and stepped into the open. “LEAVE THEM ALONE!” she yelled Everybody turned and saw Jewel. “Jewel, runaway he’s too dangerous!” Lightning groaned. “Si, chica,” Dyno added. “Run away,” Myte groaned. “Well, well, well, we meet again Jewel. Care to see your friends meet their demise” Sombra taunted. At the New Canterlot Palace, hope was rapidly fading. “What is Jewel doing?!,” Goldwin asked out loud, “there’s no way she can beat Sombra by herself!” Goldwin was a golden statue who wore a mask that allows him to come to life. “There has to be a way for them to beat Sombra and Chrysalis,” Grand Ruler said. “By the way things are looking I don't think there is a way.” Celestia added. Back at the battlefield... “Leave my friends alone, or else!” Jewel demanded. “Or what?, you have no special powers.” Sombra taunted. “Oh yea?” Jewel showed her new bracer and card holder. Styracosaurus, Triceratops Roar!” Soon two tiny dinosaurs showed and spun in the air, their entire bodies changed into a fully grown dinosaurs. They roared. The two dinosaurs only came up to Sombra’s waist. “Ha, those things is no match for me!,” Sombra said confidently. Sombra and Chrysalis charged the dinosaurs and blasted a shockwave at it, but to everyone's shock the dinos absorbed the attack! “What?! Impossible!” The Styracosaurus charged Sombra and Chrysalis they were thrown back, slamming into the ground hard. Lightning and the team were amazed. Sombra and Chrysalis blasted dark beam of magic at Styracosaurus. “LOOK OUT!” the gang screamed. Jewel pushes the button on her card holder and an attack card came out. She swiped the card saying, “NOW LIGHTNING STRIKE!,” Styracosaurus and Triceratops roared and a ball of lighting formed in the center of their horns. They reared up and blasted the beam. Then he vanishes into the forest. Jewel turned and saw her friends moaning, barely able to move. “*Gasp* guys!,” Jewel ran to them. They were in bad shape! “Oh, what am I gonna do?,” Jewel asked herself. Then a warp portal opened up and Krysta came through. “Quick we can get them to the Palace Sickbay through here,” she explained. Jewel nodded. Jewel carried Lightning, Starla and the twins while Krysta carried Rhymey, Artie and Buddy Rose. Jewel returned the dinos to their cards form and placed them in her pocket. The girls jumped through the portal and were immediately greeted by Dr. Penny and the doctor staff. They all got to work on treating the gang’s injuries, luckily they were nothing serious. Jewel was relieved. In our next episode… Jewel explains everything to Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia and they make a grand decision that will change Jewel’s life forever. They all found themselves in the royal throne room with the Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia. They looked at the battle via Lightning and Starla’s magic. From Jewel discovering the stones to the battle. Both of them were memorized by the video. “Incredible, simply incredible!,” Celestia commented. “Indeed!,” Grand Ruler agreed. “Jewel, thanks to you and your creatures, we may have a chance to defeat King Sombra and Queen Chysailis once and for all!” Grand Ruler explained. Jewel blushed. “Well, I wouldn't say that I was that great.” Jewel said modestly. “Are you kidding?,” Lightning asked, “you beat those two in just one blow,” “Si, chica you are simply incredible!,” Dyno agreed “Yea,” Myte added. Jewel blushed with a little embarrassment. Suddenly her bracer started glowing a yellow light. Jewel and everybody looked at it. The Styracosaurus and Triceratops cards Jewel used came out and levitated themselves and swiped themselves against the bracer. The cards glowing and fell to the floor and two baby dinosaurs changed from the card: It was green with six little numbs for horns. One on its nose and move around it's frill. Everybody was amazed. “Aww how cute is that?,” Celestia and Starla asked out aloud. “Hey there little ones,” Jewel greeted. The dinos looked at Jewel and leaped into her arms, licking her face. “Hehehe!, Easy girls,” Jewel said. The little dino continued to lick Jewel’s face and nuzzled her. “But what was those big creatures you summoned?” Dyno asked. “Yea, we've never seen or heard anything like it,” Myte added. “Perhaps I can shed some light on that question,” a voice came. Everybody turned and saw good old Professor Brain in the doorway. “So what is it professor?” Grand Ruler asked. “Well, based on the video....eh....Lighting showed me. I have come to believe that what Jewel summoned was two dinosaurs,” Everybody gasped in shocked. “Dinosaurs?!,” Queen Celestia asked. “But they have been extinct for millions of years,” Artie added. “Yes, but after analyzing the six stones I found that they appear to have the life essences of every dinosaur that ever lived,” Brain added. Everybody was in awe. “But why are there six stones instead of one?” Starla asked. “I believe that all the dinosaur has been categorized into one of the stones elements. The Styracosaurus amd Triceratops Jewel summoned belonged to the lighting stone as well as other ceratopsians.” Jewel’s little dino pets was playing around the room acting curious. Then they went to Queen Celestia and rubbed her leg. “How can these two cute little things turn into something so big?!” Queen Celestia asked. “Well I believe, Jewel put the dinosaurs into “battle mode” when she swiped their cards. Now they're in “pet mode”. “What do we do now?,” Buddy asked “Yes, we can't just let Jewel wander around all day A villain may come and take her away,” Rhymey agreed. “I believe I have the solution!,” Grand Ruler replied. Soon everybody in United Equestria gather at New Canterlot for a special moment. “We are gathered here today for a truly momentous occasion. My dearest student Lightning Dawn and his team battled two enemies that we thought was long gone...King Sombra and Queen Chysailis, and almost lost their lives.” Queen Celestia stated. The crowd gasped, “but they were saved by a brave young alicorn that was found yesterday. Now without any further ado...may I call Jewel front and center,” Grand Ruler added. Jewel was in the front with Lighting and the gang. She was really nervous, but with a little nudge from Lightning she walked up to Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia. He stared at Jewel, “Jewel, do to your incredible act of bravery and for saving my student and his team. I hereby, dubbed Jewel, an official member of Starfleet as a Lieutenant!” Everybody cheered. Now Jewel has a new chapter in her life. Who knows what she'll find? In our next episode… Jewel’s starts to get used to being on the Starfleet team, but when the entire gang gets kidnapped by Sombra and Chrysalis, Jewel will have to put all her newfound training to the ultimate test! Jewel’s Ultimate Challenge //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 4: Jewel's Ultimate Challenge //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 4: Jewel's Ultimate Challenge It has been six weeks since Jewel became part of Lightning Starfleet unit. She trained every single day and practice her dinosaur attacks. Grand Ruler, Queen Celestia and the gang were proud of her. Lightning introduced Jewel to Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, her brother, Shining Armor and her sister-in-law, Princess Cadence as well as Goldwin. Everybody was amazed by Jewel’s first battle. One day the alarms sounded, there was a danger in the Yellow Hills again. Lightning, his team, Twilight and her friends as well as the royal alicorns and Shining Armor all rushed to the scene. When they got there they saw Sombra and Chrysalis, waiting for them. “Sombra, Chrysalis!” everybody yelled. Sombra and Chrysalis looked and smirked at the gang, Well, looks like we got more than we expected,” Chrysalis stated. Sombra and her got into battle stances as well as the team. “ATTACK!” Grand Ruler Shouted. Both sides charged at each other, they were about to clash when Chrysalis used her magic to stop the gang in their tracks and tied them all up together with an anti-magic rope. The teams suits de-energized, leaving them in their regular patrol armor. “Hey,” Lighting exclaimed. Everybody tried to get out but no progress. “Hahaha, now we've got you right where we want you!” Chrysalis stated. “Let us go!” Queen Celestia demanded. “No, now we are going have a little fun that we called...payback. HAHAHAH!!!” Sombra yelled. And the duo vanished into thin air, along with the Starfleet gang. What nobody saw was Jewel. She saw the whole thing. “What am I gonna do?” She then saw a scroll on the ground, she picked it up and read it: To Jewel, If you ever want to see you friends again meet was at Fire Mountain. And another little thing...I want a duel against you and so does Chrysalis. So come...if you dare! Jewel was in total shock! Back at New Canterlot, everybody was in a panic. Without the Grand Ruler, Queen Celestia or any of the most powerful ponies in United Equestria, they were completely vulnerable to an attack. Someone had to rescue them, but the only one who could do that was Jewel. She was the only one who had the power to match Sombra and Chrysalis. “I can’t save them. Chrysalis and Sombra are too powerful for me!” Jewel objected. “But you beat Sombra and Chrysalis the last time with your Styracosaurus and Triceratops,” Goldwin pointed out, “They weren't ready that time, nnow they are! I’ll be toast!” Jewel added, “I just..can’t do it” Jewel turned around and walked out to the tallest terrace in the New Canterlot Palace and started to sing: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6PINw41YS70 (Its kinda like this) (Jewel) It isn't that I'm ungrateful For all the things that occurred For all the magic i’ve been taught now All the lessons that I have learned But i wonder if i'll save the day Without my friends to help me though I don't know how to battle With a duo that is so strong Goldwin and Professor Brain came out onto the terrace and stared at Jewel in concern I have my wings I have my suit I’m on Starfleet, this is true But it's still unclear to me Just how I can save the day I'm not a wiz at magic Never had a magic duel I just don't think I am ready Because I really doubt I’m prepared Goldwin approached Jewel and placed a hand on her shoulder and sang: (Goldwin) We know this quest is sudden And that's sometimes hard to take But it will become much clearer With every new choice you make Brain came up next and sang as well: (Brain) Combat is never easy I understand how you feel I know how hard it is to learn At something that is new (Both) But they chose you for a reason You’re gifted and you strong You're part of the Starfleet team because You belong Know that you're time Has come so soon As the sun rises, so does the moon As love finds a place in every heart You are their hope now Believe in You (Goldwin) They understand that you are scared Cause you’ve have not done this before (Brain) But they believe in you And you should too Know that you're time Has come so soon As the sun rises, so does the moon As love finds a place in every heart You are their hope now Believe in You You are their hope now Believe in You “You can save them Jewel, just like you did before” Goldwin encouraged. Jewel thought for a minute and said with confidence, “You’re right Goldwin! I can save them just like I did before!,” Jewel then ran out of the palace and straight for the blacktop mountain that was on the other side of the forest near New Canterlot. She knew that she was the one who can save the day! In our next episode… As Jewel nears Blacktop Mountain, she begins to have second thoughts, can she continue with the help of a new friend? They had the captured gang hanging over a pit of lava, ready to cook them alive. “You won't get away with this Sombra!,” Grand Ruler stated. “We already have,” Sombra replied, “nobody's coming to save you. Your little squad was it and now there is no one left.” Chrysalis added. “Jewel is still out there and when she gets here she's going to pound you guys into the ground.” Lightning retorted confidently. Everybody yelled in agreement. Sombra laughed, “That weakling would never be so foolish. Even her dinosaurs have a weakness. She would never be dumb enough to come and battle us.” Sombra retorted. A changeling minion came in and said, “My king, My Queen, there's a pink alicorn coming this way,” “WHAT?!,” The changeling showed everybody the surveillance cameras and saw Jewel running at top speed. “Ha, that little alicorn will never get here in time,” Sombra went over to the panel that controls the rope the gang was hanging from. He pulled it down and the gang began to lower into the lava pit. “She'll never be able to save you all, HAHAHA!!,” Sombra laughed. The gang struggled to free themselves but it was in vain. If Jewel did not arrive soon, they would be cooked! Meanwhile, Jewel was a few yards away when she stopped. “Can I really do this?, I mean this is something that's totally new to me,” Jewel asked herself. Jewel began to doubt the chances of her saving here friends. She didn't notice that a small ball of light came down from in front of her and spoke, “Jewel do not lose hope, you still have a chance to save them,” Jewel gasped, “You're the same voice from before!,” she realized. “Yes Jewel, I am called the Pterosaur. I am the one who lead you to the six stones. And now you have to save the ones you love. Trust your instincts. Here's another dinosaur you can use,” A card came out of the ball of light and Jewel took it. It was an Amargasaurus. “This dinosaur can aid you in helping your friends. Good luck Jewel!,” With that the ball of light vanished. “Trust my instincts, my friends need me and they are all counting on me,” Jewel said. She quietly walked in there. Arriving at the lair she gasped! Her friends were getting lowered into a lava pit! Sombra and Chrysalis were laughing with glee. Jewel knew that it was now or never! “Let's do this!,” she whispered. The gang were getting closer to the lava it. “Uh… guys…I think we're in big trouble,” cried Artie. “Really...what was your first clue?,” snarled Rainbow Dash. “We better do something fast,” Dyno added, "Si, or we'll be cooked!,” Myte added. “Finally we'll get rid of Starfleet forever!,” Sombra gloated. “NOT SO FAST!,” Every one turned and saw Jewel on the other side of the room. “Jewel!,” the gang cried. “Ah so you're the famous Jewel I've been hearing about,” Chrysalis taunted. “Let my friends go now!,” Jewel demanded. “ You'll have to defeat us first!,” Sombra replied. “With pleasure,” Jewel replied. Jewel pressed the button on her card holder and Styracosaurus and Triceratops cards came out and into her hand. “Dino-Slash! Tricera Twins, Roar!” Styraco and Tricera transformed into their battle mode. Sombra and Chrysalis grew to fifteen feet tall. Styraco and Tricera charged the duo, pushing them back. Sombra and Chrysalis hit them but their frills absorbed the damage. Styraco and Tricera rammed the duo continuously, causing them to fall down. Sombra and Chrysalis got back up and blasted a powerful beam of magic at Styraco and Tricera, but they turned and used their tails to deflect the beam! “Incredible!,” Starla exclaimed. Styraco and Tricera charged again, but Sombra and Chrysalis combined their power and launched the combo beam at them. Jewel took out another attack card. “THUNDER BAZOOKA! GO,” She yelled. Styraco and Tricera were covered in electricity and jumped into the air heading for Sombra and Chrysalis. Styraco and Tricera roared in victory. “Um, Jewel,” Grand Ruler called, “friends getting ready to be cooked here!” Lightning yelled. The gang was feet above the lava pit. They all lifted their legs so they wouldn't touch the lava. "Hurry Jewel," Dyno cried. "Si, before we're cooked!" Myte added. “*Gasp* I’m on it,” Jewel took out the Amargasaurus card. “Dino-Slash, Amargasaurus Roar!,” The Amargasaurus landed on the floor and roared. “Amargasaurus grabbed my friends and quick!,” Jewel ordered. Amargasaurus roared and walked over to the lava pit. Using his long neck, he grabbed the rope, breaking it with his massive teeth. He pulled the gang over to where Jewel was and set them down. From there, Jewel untied them. “You did it Jewel!,” Starla cheered, “you saved us,” “Yes, gracias chica,” Dyno added, “Si, you saved our butts.” Myte said. All of the royal alicorns were very proud of Jewel. They looked at each other and nodded, thinking that Jewel deserves something. Soon a ceremony was held at the New Canterlot Palace throne room. Everybody, dragon, yak and even dimond dogs attended. Trumpets played, the doors opened and Jewel walked in and down the red carpet towards Grand Ruler, Queen Celestia, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence. Jewel stopped in front of them. "We are gathered here today to once again honor the heroism of our newest starfleet member Jewel who stood up to Sombra and Chrysalis and saved not only myself but my wife and Lighting Dawn and his team's lives," Grand Ruler announced. Everybody cheered in joy. Queen Celestia stepped forward. "There's another reason we have to celebrate," she added. Celestia looked down at Jewel, "Jewel due to your incerdible act of bravey we are proud and honored to give you the Untied Equestrian Pink Hearts of Courage. And what would take years for a member to reach, Jewel, I hereby promote you to Fleet Adrimal!" The whole room erupted with cheers of joy and happiness. Lighting and his unit were exteremly proud of Jewel. No longer wad she the injured alicorn they came across. Now she was a Fleet Adrimal. One rank behind Lighting who was a Supreme Allied Commander, a rank behind royalty. Luna placed the United Equestrian Pink Heart of Courage on Jewel. Jewel turned and faced the crowd feeling more proud of herslef thand ever before. Celestia then went to one the windows and pulled the curtains back. Revealing a new stain-glass picture of Jewel and her dinosaur friends defeating Sombra and Chrysalis as well as rescuing everybody. Jewel smiles at the crowd, knowing that new challenges were bound to arrive! In our next episode… Jewel gets captured by Sombra and Chrysalis. One head opened it’s jaw to eat her but Dyno kicked it. “You’re not gonna eat our friend,” Dyno yelled. There were too many heads for the twins to handdle. The other five heads began to attack Jewel, while the one head dealt with Dyno and Myte. Jewel tried her best to dodge, but the heads were to clever. Jewel was tossed into the air and the middle hydra head closed its jaws around her. “JEWEL!” the gang yelled. The middle hydra swallowed and a lump was seen going to the stomach. The gang could even heard Jewel's scream. "WWOOAAAAAHHHH!" Nobody did anything for a minute they were shocked. Until they saw a lump moving up the from stomach middle hydra head's neck and into the mouth. "What the-?," Lighting asked The middle hydra’s mouth was slowly pried open, it was Jewel, she was using her shoulders and legs to keep the hydra’s jaws open, however she was struggling not to be eaten...again. “Grrrr. G-g-guys h-h-help!,” Jewel called, desperately, struggling to keep the mouth open. The entire gang flew up to the hydra’s mouth. “Hang in there Jewel,” Lightning said, “We'll get you out of there,” “Grr..hurry guys. I don't think....I can hold this.... for much longer, ooooh.” Jewel groaned. Grand Ruler and his wife blasted the hydra's nose, causing an irritation which caused it to sneeze. “YAAAAHHH!!,” Jewel screamed as she flew out of the hydra's mouth. Dyno and Myte caught her! “We got you chica,” Dyno stated. Jewel saw that she was covered in light green hydra slobber. "Ugh, I'm gonna take a week's worth of long baths when we get back!," Jewel stated. Dyno and Myte chuckled. “Let's go,” Myte added. The gang quickly flew back to New Canterlot with Jewel, Styraco and Tricera in tow. That afternoon, Jewel was fast asleep after eating a hearty breakfast and taking an hour-long bath. Meanwhile, the royal ones, Lightning and his team were discussing what happened. “It is true that Jewel is in immediate danger,” Grand Ruler stated, “Sombra and Chrysalis will do everything they can to destroy Jewel, which we saw today,” Queen Celestia added. “So what do we do?,” Lightning asked. “We'll have to prepare Jewel for physical combat in order to defend herself. And we will need to keep a very close eye on her.” Grand Ruler explained. Styraco and Tricera whimpered, worried for their best friend's safety. “Aww, don't worry you two We'll protect Jewel if it's the last thing we do,” Rhymey reassured. Queen Celestia suddenly had a plan! “Maybe we can have Styraco and Tricera as Jewel’s bodyguards?,” she asked. The others weren't so sure that was a good idea. “Nobody would suspect those two. I mean they're so cute and sweet. It's the perfect cover,” She elaborated. Grand Ruler agreed with his wife. Soon, everybody agreed that Styraco and Tricera would be Jewel’s secret bodyguards. Jewel's Over-workout //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 9: Jewel's Over-workout //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 9: Jewel's Over-workout The day after, Grand Ruler and Lightning had Jewel in the dojo. “Alright Jewel, today we are going to work on your physical attributes things like speed, strength, dexterity and etc.” Grand Ruler explained. Jewel was excitied. Lightning led her to the treadmills and told her to run ten miles. In about fifteen minutes, Jewel completed the task. Next, Jewel was tasked with sparring with Grand Ruler, “Say what now?” she questioned, “You are sparring with my master,” Lightning repeated. Jewel was skeptical about this, “I can't fight him, he’s your master and I’m not getting yelled at by his wife. I've seen her when she's angry.” Jewel objected. “Relaxed, it’ll be fine.” Grand Ruler reassured. Jewel reluctantly agreed. Jewel began sparring with Grand Ruler, she was doing quite good until Grand Ruler pulled a surprise move on her; swinging his leg and knocked Jewel off balance. “You did good Jewel,” Grand Ruler complimented, “you lasted longer than Lightning when he first sparred with me.” “Master!” Lightning exclaimed embarrassed. Grand Ruler and Jewel chuckled together. For the rest of the morning, Jewel was put through difficult training procedures; the Hurl-a-Whirl, which she cleared on the first try, which shocked everypony especially Twilight and her friends. Target Practice; she shot every target except a mother with a baby carriage and bystander. “Very well done Jewel!” Queen Celestia complimented. Grand Ruler trained Jewel into the night. The next morning, everybody, except Grand Ruler and Jewel were having a pancake breakfast. Soon, Grand Ruler walked in looking fresh as a daisy, followed by Jewel. Jewel looked the opposite from Grand Ruler; baggy eyes, her hair was messed up and she had some scratches and bruises on her body. She stumbled to her spot at the table; between Dyno and Myte. Sitting down she promptly drove her head into her pancakes and fell asleep. Nobody said anything for a minute. “Um, my love, did you by any chance train Jewel all night, last night?” Celestia asked, “Yep,” Grand Ruler said proudly. “Master, are you sure that was a good idea?” Lightning questioned, “What ever do you mean?” Grand Ruler added, “Jewel looks totally wiped out, even when you trained me, you never pulled an all-nighter.” Lightning replied. “Si, the poor chica looks exhausted,” Dyno agreed, looking at Jewel, “Maybe you should cut back on the training.” Myte suggested. “No way Jewel is progressing excellent with the training she’s doing now. And I’ll continue to train her my way.” Grand Ruler explained. With that, Grand Ruler walked over to Jewel and levitated her with his magic and walked out of the dining area with an asleep Jewel; who didn't even eat her breakfast. Everybody looked at each other in deep concern. Grand Ruler and Jewel trained all morning; Jewel was dangerously exhausted, not to mention really hungry. “Grand Ruler, can we please take a break, I didn’t eat any breakfast this morning and I’m starving.” Jewel pleaded with her stomach growling loudly in agreement. Grand Ruler refused and ordered her to continue training. Jewel sighed. Suddenly, the alarms sounded; there was trouble in Big Canyon. Lightning, his unit, Jewel, Styraco and Tricea all rushed to the scene; except Jewel, who was stumbling. Arriving at the scene, everybody saw that it was Sombra again, “Ah, look who finally showed up,” Sombra taunted. Lightning and his team charged at Sombra, who countered every attack they threw. Sombra, then stunned Lightning and his team with a shockwave, leaving Jewel, the only one who could fight. But Sombra could see that Jewel would be easy to defeat. Jewel stumbled towards Sombra and tried to punch him, but, due to her not sleeping last night and not eating, she was blurry eyed, exhausted and weak. Sombra quickly counter and punched her, hard. Jewel stumbled back and tried attacking again, but everytime, Sombra dodged and countered. Finally, Sombra had enough playtime and kicked Jewel in her chest, sending her skidding and falling to the ground. Lightning and his friends were shocked! Sombra formed a large ball of magic in his hands and hurled it at Jewel. Jewel was too weak and sore to dodge. The last thing Jewel heard was her friends calling her name before everything went black. Beep Beep Beep That was the first thing Jewel heard when she woke up. She was in alot of pain. Jewel saw two brown, one yellow, one red and one white blob. Clearing her vision, she saw all her friends by her bedside, “Oooooooh, what happened?” she moaned in pain, rubbing the side of her forehead. “Easy chica, you’re got really banged up,” Dyno cooed, “Take it easy,” Myte added. “Where am I?” Jewel asked, “You’re in the hospital wing of the palace,” Starla answered. Jewel’s stomach gurgled loudly, reminding her that she hadn’t eaten anything since last night's dinner. “Ugh, Man, am I starved,” she moaned. “No te preocupes *Don’t worry* Jewel, we’ll go get you some food,” Dyno offered, “Be right back,” Myte said. The twins left to get Jewel some substantial food. While they were waiting, Queen Celestia walked in, “Hello everybody, I came as soon as Buddy Rose notified me. How’s Jewel?” she asked, “I’m okay Queen Celestia, just a little sore and hungry,” Jewel replied. Queen Celestia sighed in relief. “Now, I would like to know what happened out there?” Queen Celestia questioned. Everybody went into detail about the battle from their arrival to Jewel getting blasted by Sombra. Celestia was shocked! “My goodness!” By that time, Dyno and Myte came in with Jewel’s food, “Here you go chica,” Dyno presented, “Eat it all up,” Myte added. Jewel thanked the boys and ate her fill. Soon, Jewel was finished and was discharged from the hospital wing. Everybody went to the throne room where Grand Ruler, Goldwin, Styraco and Tricera were waiting. Grand Ruler was confused as to why Jewel lost. “It’s because of all that training you put Jewel though,” Lighting answered, “Jewel was so exhausted, that Sombra easily overpowered her,” Starla added. Grand Ruler thought for a minute and finally realized his mistake. “Jewel, I’m so sorry, I should have never put you through such strenuous training. Can you ever forgive me?” Jewel smiled and forgave Grand Ruler, who learned a valuable lesson: Training is important, but over-training can be bad. Don’t overtrain or else you won’t be able to accomplish your objective. A swamp filled with muddy water, falling logs, vines and trees that at, look like monster. It is home to all kinds of monsters. Jewel was looking nervous from being in this dangerous spot. Her friends told her about their first time through the Violet Swamp, it chilled her to the bone. “Don’t worry chica,” Dyno reassured, “Si, we won’t let anything get you,” Myte added. Jewel smiled at the twins. Suddenly, the ground began to shake periodically, “Wh-what’s that?” Jewel asked nervously. The trio turned to the left and saw a four-headed hydra. Dyno and Myte stood protectively in front of Jewel. “You’ll have to get pass us if you want this chica!” Dyno declared. “Yea,” Myte added. “STARFLEET...MAGIC” “Power of Fire” The twins transformed and then dashed at the hydra. The slashed and kicked the hydra’s body, causing it to roar in pain and anger. Jewel was witnessing the battle from behind a tree. Then she felt something wrap around her waist, she turned around and her eyes widen in fear. The twins were succeeding in battling the hydra, who looked ready to pass out. The hydra finally knew it was beaten and walked away. “ARRIBA!!” the twins cheered, which was short lived when, “HEEEELLP!!” The twins looked and were horrified by what the saw...Jewel was wrapped in another hydra’s tail getting whipped around violently! “JEWEL!” Dyno cried, “Hang in there chica, we’re coming!,” Myte called. The twins flew up to the hydra, who saw them and stopped whipping Jewel around. Jewel looked totally green in the face and felt extremely sick to her stomach. “BOOM BOOM FLARE” Dyno and Myte used their attack, it burned the hydra and it let go of Jewel. Myte was there in an instant to catch her. The hydra ran away into the swamp. Dyno and Myte settled down in a safe clearing to look over Jewel, who did not look very good. “Chica, are you alright?” Dyno asked. “She looks really sick Dyno,” Myte elaborated. Jewel’s stomach gave a sickly gurgle and Jewel held it. “Ugh, I think I’m g-gonna be sick,” she moaned. Myte pulled out an empty bag from his bag and put it under Jewel’s chin. Jewel soon vomited into the bag. Dyno rubbed her back to comfort her. When Jewel stopped, she felt a little better. “Thanks boys,” Jewel thanked. Just then, “Dyno, Myte!,” The trio turned and saw all their friends including, Styraco and Tricera, racing towards them. “Amigos!,” the twins called with glee. Everybody stopped in front of the trio. Styraco, Tricera, Starla and Celestia kneeled near Jewel. Styraco and Tricera nuzzled Jewel and softly roared at her, knowing something was wrong. “What happened to Jewel?” Starla asked. “She was wrapped in a hydra’s tail and whipping around really rough, making her very sick,” Dyno explained. “Si, poor chica,” Myte added sadly. Jewel moaned. “Ugh my stomach hurts. I don’t feel very well,” Jewel leaned into Starla, who wrapped her arms around her. “Just take it easy Jewel,” she cooed. “We should wait until Jewel is better to continue,” Grand Ruler suggested. Everybody agreed with that. Jewel was in no condition to continue. Soon they all were in a big tent with two floors in it. Jewel was placed on the couch with Styraco and Tricera, who wanted to stay with her out of worry. Everybody fell asleep, ready for the next, big day. In our next episode… Jewel along with the rest of her friends go to BlackTop Mountain and discover the dinosaur, but Sombra and Chrysalis want it to and they have their own prehistoric surprise for the gang. He took out a dino bracer like Jewel's and yelled, Shake them up Saichanina!" When it was a few feet away, Pawpawasururs rammed it away. "What? Impossible! Attack again! Dino Swing," Sombra ordered again. The Saichanina roared and tried to grab the gang so it could swing them around but again Pawpawasururs blocked the attack and rammed Saichanina. "That dinosaur is absorbing every attack Sombra's dinosaur tries to throw at us!" Dyno said. "But why?" Myte asked. "Maybe because it wants to be friends?" Jewel asked it. Pawpawasururs looked at the gang and nodded it's head. "Now lets make this fight even! Dino-Slash Tricera Twins, Roar!" Jewel summoned Styraco and Tricera into the battle. They charged at Saichanina and flipped it over with their horns. The duo then repeatedly bashed the dinosaur with their horns until it turned back into a card. The battle was over! "I'LL BE BACK!" Sombra yelled. He disappeared into the sky. Pawpawasururs, Styraco and Tricera roared. Styraco and Tricera turned towrds Pawpawasururs, it roared then turned itself back into a card. Jewel walked up and grabbed the card off of the floor. Now Jewel had a new attack card: Tag Team. "You said it," Starla agreed. "Alright my brave ponies. You all better get some rest you can all sleep in the guest rooms." Grand Ruler offered. Everybody happily praised Grand Ruler in thanks and headed off to bed. Jewel went back to her room and fell asleep. Jewel's Dream Jewel and her Starfleet friends were battling Sombra. "STARLFEET MAGIC" Lighting: "Power of Believing!" Starla: "Power of Space!" Buddy: "Power of Flora!" Artie: "Power of Art!" Rhymey: "Let us begin...Power of the wind!" Dyno and Myte: "Power of Fire!" Everybody transformed....except Jewel. "Aww does poor little Jewel not have an elemental force. You can't rely on your dinosaur every battle. I doubt your even considered an actual part of the team," Sombra taunted. Jewel then found herself in a dark void. There were voices all around her. "No elemtal force?!", "What a weakling", "She'll properly never get one. She'll never truly be part of the team." Jewel wakes up with sweat coming down her foerhead and she wipes it off an calms her breathing. She gets out of her bed and walks to the tallest terrace in the New Canterlot Palace. She stared at the white glowing moon. "Whats my elemental force?" Jewel thought. "Jewel" Jewel turned and saw Queen Celestia, Grand Ruler and Princesses Luna and Cadence. They were looking at her with concern. "What are you doing up at this hour Jewel?" Cadence asked. "Well...I am really a part of Starfleet?" Jewel asked. "Of course you are Jewel. You fight to protect the universe and fend off evil." Luna stated. "Yea but...am I truly a part of Starfleet?" Jewel asked. "What do you mean?" Grand Ruler asked. Jewel put her head down a little, an expression of sadness was on her face. "I mean everybody has an elemental force, but me. You have the Power of Knowledge. Queen Celestia has the Power of Light. Princesses Luna and Cadence, Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia all went back to their rooms to rest. Jewel stayed out a little longer staring at the moon wondering if they are right. The next morning, everybody was enjoying a pancake breakfast. "Man I love my elemental force!," Lighting stated. "Yea mine too!" Starla agreed. "Si, everybody has their own elemental force." Dyno stated. "Si everybody!" Myte added. "Well not everybody." Princess Luna objected. Lightning and his friends looked at her in confusion, "What do you mean Princess?" Artie asked. "It might be better to show you all." Quen Celstia and Grand Ruler used their magic to show the team what occurred last night. When the image vanished everyone felt guilty. "We completely forgot Jewel still doesn't have a elemental force," Dyno said. "Poor chica." Myte added. "But why does she feel left out?" Lighting asked. "Jewel thinks that because she doesn't have an elemental force like all of you, shes not a true part of the team." Grand Ruler explained. Everybody felt bad for Jewel. Jewel came in with small bags under her eyes and had a tired smile on her face. She sat down between Dyno and Myte and began eating her breakfast. Nobody said anything to her because they knew she had alot on her mind. After breakfast, Jewel went to the library to see if she could find anyhting that could tell her how to unlock her elemental force. Sadly, no book held the answer. Jewel felt frustrated and sad, then she began to burst into tears. Styraco and Tricera, who had been following her all morning came in and set on either side of their owner and nuzzled her as she sobs, "I'll never find my element or truly be part of the team!" Lightning, his friends and the royal alicorns heard Jewel's sobbing and came in. Lighting and his friends all surrounded Jewel and hugged her as she cried. After ten minutes, Jewel calmed down and the gang seperated. "You will find your elemental force Jewel," Starla reassured while stroking Jewel's hair. "Si chica," Dyno and Myte added. Jewel sniffled and smiled, "Thanks guys." Jewel praised. Everybody, including the royal alicorns smiled at Jewel. In our next episode.... Chrysalis asked. "Woah a Carnatoruous and a Parasaurolophus!" The Carnatoruous roared and rushed towrds the group, it swiftly circled the group and vanished. "Where'd it go?" Lighting asked. Suddenly the dinosaur came in rammed the group about ten times and ran back top three side of its owners. The group feel to the ground in pain. Their suits de-energized! "Excellent!" Sombra complimented. The Parasaurolophus walked towards group and began smacking the group with her tail. The gang grunted in pain, unable to defend themselves. Jewel could do noting but watch in horror. Meanwhile at the palace, hope was fading rapidly. "They are getting creamed out there!" Goldwin cried. "There has to be someway to defeat those dinosaurs," Luna added. Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia desperately hoped that there was a way to save their subjects. The Parasaurolophus continued its brutal assult on the gang. Jewel formed tears in her eyes. Finally she couldn't take anymore. "ENOUGH!!" She yelled. The Parasaurolophus, Carnatoruous, Sombra and Chrysalis looked at her. "Hahah and what are you going to do?" Chysailis taunted. "I.....won't...let you...hurt my friends....ANYMORE!!!" Jewel replied. Jewel's body began to glow and the light grew and grew until she was coated in a spirit of a Styracosaurus. Jewel roared and the spirit roared as well. The dinosaur tried to attack her but she slammed them with the spirit's tail. Then she roared and rushed towrds the dinosaur she tossed them up into the air. Sombra and Chysailis were livid and shocked! "You may have beaten us this time but we'll be back!" Sombra cried then they both vanished. Jewel's dinosaur spirit went away and Jewel lost consciousness. Hours later, Jewel woke up in Queen Celestia's bed surrounded by all of her friends. "Guys...wh-what happened?" Jewel said weary. "Take it easy chica," Dyno advised. "You've been through alot," Myte added. Everybody told Jewel what happened in the battle. She was memorized! "But what does it mean?" Jewel asked. Then a ball of light came into the room and in the middle of the room the Pterosaur appeared. "Pterosaur!" Jewel called. Jewel you have discovered your own elemental force to use in battle. The power of dinosaurs. With it you can battle your enemies with the same attacks your dinosaurs can do. Remember this, with great power comes a great responsibility. Use your power wisely and you shallbe rewarded. I must go now. Good luck Jewel and Congratulations. With that the Pterosaur vanished. "Woah," everybody said. Then the palace doctor came in. "Alright everyone, Jewel needs her rest so out, out, out shoo!" She ushered everybody our leaving Jewel to rest. "Yawn, well might as well get some....sleeeeeep. Zzzzzzz" Jewel fell asleep. Dr. Penny came in a called for the gang. After a few minutes all of them had their cold vaccine.....except for one member. "Guys where's Jewel?" Buddy asked. "She didn't want to come. She's was scared." Starla replied. They all remembered Jewel telling them about her phobia of needles. "Well I have a trick for her." Dr. Penny said, smirking. Over the next two days, Jewel was starting to show signs of a cold; headache, dizziness, sneezing and coughing. The gang tried to tell her to go get the vaccine and rest, but she refused. "I'm prefectly fine....ACHOO" Jewel replied. The gang knew that was not true. For the next two more days, Jewel's symptoms were getting worse. Finally that afternoon, Jewel was sparring with Starla. Jewel could barely hold her battle stance, about two minutes into the battle, Jewel collasped. Hours later Jewel woke up and saw her friends and Dr. Penny. "G-Guys...ACHOO...what happened?" Jewel asked stuffed up. "You collasped while I was sparring with you" Starla replied. Dr. Penny checked Jewel's temperature. "Hmm 102 degrees Fahrenheit." She stated. The others were shocked! They knew Jewel's cold was bad... but not that bad. "Alright Jewel I'm gonna give you a shot to help get rid of your cold then you are bedridden until it goes away, got it?" Penny ordered. Jewel gulped when she heard the word " vaccine". "Dont worry Jewel we're right here." Artie reassured. Jewel smilied. Soon Dr. Penny gave Jewel the vaccine and after two days Jewel was back up normal. In our next episode..... A mysterious sword is delivered to Jewel who can sense there's something familiar about it. Now she was walking through the New Everfree Forest for a morning stroll. None of the animals bothered her cause she stayed away from them. As she was walking she saw something at the corner of her eye. She followed the glow and came across a cave. Seeing the glow, she entered the cave. At the end of the cave she saw a sword lodged in a rock with a note attached to it. Jewel went up to the sword, the blade was sliver with the symbols of her dinosaur stone plates going down the front: lighting was first, then wind, grass, fire, water, earth and a glowing spiked ball last. The note attached to the sword read: "Hello, my sweetie, This is a gift that will help you fight off evil. Use it wisely and learn about its power. Jewel grabbed the sword by its golden handle and pulled it out of the rock with ease. "Wonder what these are for?" She asked herself. Suddenly the cave she was in started to rumble and rocks began to fall to the ground! "I've gotta get out of here" Jewel realized. Jewel rushed towards the enterence but a huge section of the front came down and it blocked the exit. The end of the cave caved in, trapping Jewel in the middle of the cave! Everything became steady again. "Oh man this is bad. Now what am I gonna do?" Jewel asked herself. Then Jewel realized she still had her pack on. She dug into it and pulled out her communicater. "Hello can anybody hear me? Help!" Jewel cried. "Jewel? Is that you?" Grand Ruler asked. "Yea." "Where are you?" "I'm trapped inside a collapsed cave in the New Everfree Forest. I really need some help!" "Don't worry Jewel we're on our way." Grand Ruler replied. "Okay" Jewel then cut off her comunicater. Then her stomach growled. "I hope the others get here soon," she prayed. Grand Ruler informed everyone of Jewel's predicament and all rushed to the New Everfree. They soon saw the collasped cave and went up to it. "Jewel can you hear us?" Lighting called. "Yea I can hear you guys" Jewel replied. "Are you hurt?" Artie asked. "No I'm not hurt but I'm totally trapped." Jewel replied. "Don't worry chica" Dyno said. "We'll get you out," Myte added. The team all began to moveall the fallen rocks aside. In about two hours, Jewel was free from the rocks. The gang pulled her out, she only had some cuts and bruises. Jewel showed them what she found and they were amazed. "Incredible" Grand Ruler said. "Yes now will be taking that" a voice added. The gang turned and saw Sombra and Chrysalis with a Spinosaurus and a Tyrannosaurus Rex, ready to battle. Lighting and everybody stood in front of Jewel to protect her. "Your not getting Jewel this time," Lighting declared. Suddenly the Pachycepholasaurus card began to glow and it swiped itself on Jewel's Dino Bracer and came to life. It roared showing its glowing, bony head. "Attack them!" Sombra commanded. The dinosaurs charged at the group. The Pachycepholasaurus grabbed Jewel with its teeth and placed her on its back and ran off into the forest. "Guys!" Jewel called. "Jewel!" Lighting called. "After it!" Sombra and Chrysalis along with their dinos chased after Jewel and her Pachycepholasaurus. "Come on guys we've gotta find them before they do." Lighting ordered. "Yes sir" everybody replied. They all headed off in the same direction. In our next episode.....Jewel and her Pachycepholasaurus try to avoid Sombra, Chrysalis and their dinos. But that turns out to be harder than they thought. Now they were deep in the heart of the New Everfree Forest. "Phew that was a close one. Are you okay Pachy?" Jewel asked. Pachycephalosaurus roared and nodded it's head. "Good." Jewel replied. Then Jewel's stomach growled again, "Ugh, I sure could use some breakfast." She said. The Pachycephalosaurus's stomach growled too. "Sound like you could use some breakfast too. Lets go find something to eat." Pachycephalosaurus roared in agreement and walked off to find some food. The two soon found a fruit tree that was the right size for both of them to grab and fill their stomachs. The two ate everything (Pachycephalosaurus ate the leaves while Jewel ate the fruit itself). "*Burp* Man that good." Jewel sighed. Pachycephalosaurus roared in agreement. "Come on we better get moving. We dont want that Spinosaurus or Tyrannosaurus to find us." Jewel hopped onto Pachycephalosaurus's neck and the two walked on to find a way out, without getting found first. Soon they found themselves in a place with volcanoes and lava pits and lava pools all over the place. "Where are we Jewel?" Pachy asked. "Pachy, you can talk?" Jewek asked amazed. "Yep, you have the ability to talk to dinosaur when they're out of their cards." Pachy explained. "Wow. Well, on where are, I don't really know where we are." Jewel added. "Hey what are you two doing here?" a voice demanded. Jewel and Pachy turned around and saw a trio of dragons with Garble at the front. "Uh Pachy I think I just realized where we are. We're in the dragon lands. *Gulp*" Jewel realized. "Looks like we have two new friends. What do you say we give them a warm welcome." Garble said. The dragon trio began to adavnce towards Jewel and Pachy. "Let's get out of here Pachy!" Jewel exclaimed. Pachy immediately turned and ran away from the dragons, who began chasing them. The dragons started launching fireballs at the duo. Pachy dodged them all. The chased went on for about twenty minutes. Pachy was breathing hard. "Jewel...I'm started to...run out of. ..gas," Pachy panted. Jewel knew Pachy couldn't run for much longer. Then she spotted something in the distance. "Pachy, quick into the cave before we're cooked." Jewel ordered. Pachy dashed into the cave. The dragons, thinking they chased them away, returned back home. Pachy and Jewel came out and sighed in relief. "That was a close one," Pachy said. "You said it!" Jewel agreed. Then a grurgling sound filled the air, "Heheh, Oops, guess that chase made me hungry," Pachy said. "Yea, me too. Lets go get some grub." Jewel added. Suddenly, a net came over the two friends and they were lifted into the air by a set of jaws. "Look who we found." Jewel and Pachy knew that voice. They looked down snd saw Sombra and Chrysalis on the T'rex while they were hanging in the jaws the Spinosaurus. "Now let's have some fun." Chrysalis added. Jewel and Pachy gulped. Unknown by all of them Lighting and everybody was watching and they were horrified. In our next episode...Jewel and Pachy get into deep trouble in an arena with starving dinosaurs. Everybody except Jewel, mainly because she didn't show up yet. “Where’s Jewel,” Starla asked “No idea,’ Dyno replied “We didn't she her this morning,” Myte added. Suddenly Styraco and Tricera burst into the room roaring in distress. “Styraco, Tricera what's wrong?,” Grand Ruler asked. Styraco and Tricera lead the gang to Jewel's room and entered. Everybody gasped! “‘Ay Caramba!” Dyno and Myte exclaimed. Jewel's room was ruined. Holes in the walls, the window was busted and Jewel's bed covered were all twisted. And worst of all her dino bracer and card holders were on the floor! “What happened?,” Starla asked. “Looks like the signs of a struggle,” Buddy replied. “Struggle?,” Queen Celestia repeated, “But who could have done this?,” “I think I just found out who,” Lightning said. Lightning came over with a note it read: We have you little dino trainer and if you want to see her alive again come to Fire Mountain alone! Sombra and Chrysalis Everybody was shocked and outraged! “We gotta rescue her!,” Spike said. “Si without her dinosaurs, Jewel’s in big trouble,” Dyno added. “Well what are we standing around here for?,” Myte questioned, ”Let's go amigos!” Everybody, including the royal alicorns headed to Fire Mountain to save Jewel. Meanwhile at Fire Mountain, Jewel was in real pickle! Sombra and Chrysalis tied a rope around her arms and legs. Also, they put two braces on her; one on her horn and one on her wings. She couldn't fly or use her magic. To make matters worse, the pair had Jewel dangling off the edge of the volcano, above a really sticky mud pit! “This is what happens to people who interfere with King Sombra and his Queen one too many times.” Sombra elaborated. Jewel gulped fearfully. “Guys, I could really use your help right now.” Jewel thought nervously. Just then, a golden projectile came and hit Chrysalis sending her flying back. Sombra and Jewel turned, Jewel’s face turned from nervous to relief when she saw her friends; transformed and ready for battle. “Well, look who came to get there little friend back,” Sombra taunted. “Let Jewel go Sombra!” Grand Ruler demanded, “or else we’ll take her back by force!” “But if you do that, then I’ll have to send her down, into a muddy grave!” Sombra retorted. Sombra fake, almost dropped the rope, causing Jewel to scream in fear. Everybody stood where they were for a long tense minute, waiting for the moment to attack. Suddenly Styraco and Tricera both came from behind Sombra and bite him; Tricera, on his head and Styraco, on his arm. Sombra yelled and let go of the rope. To everyone’s horror, that sent Jewel tumbling down the volcano’s side, landing her in the sticky mud pit. Jewel struggled to get loose but it only caused her to become more stuck. Then, to her horror she started to sink into the mud pit and the more she struggled, the more she sank! “HELP!,” Jewel screamed. Dyno and Myte raced down the volcano towards Jewel, “Hold on chica!,” Dyno yelled, “We’re coming!,” Myte added. Suddenly, Chrysalis teleported in front of the twins, “You’ll have to defeat me first to get to the girl!,” she challenged. Dyno and Myte both took their battle stances, ready to battle Chrysalis to save Jewel. Chysalis charged at the twins, they both dodged and kicked Chrysalis hard, knocking her onto to floor. She got up quickly and shot a beam of magic at them. "BOOM BOOM FIREBALLS!" The twins combined their power and shot fireballs at Chrysalis, burning her badly and knocking her unconscious. “ARRIBA” they cheered. “Um, guys, a little help here,” Jewel called. Jewel was up to her chest in the sticky mud. “Coming!” the twins yelled simultaneously. The twins raced towards Jewel when the ground started rumbling, “What’s that?” Jewel asked. Suddenly, a hydra came from beneath Jewel and stood at seventeen feet tall. The hydra’s six heads turned to Jewel and licked their lips in hunger. Jewel gulped nervously. Jewel nodded. Starla dashed forward and tried to slash Jewel, but she countered with a block and a counter-slash. Starla and Jewel’s swords clashed repeatedly. Twilight was impressed by Jewel's battle technique. Starla and Jewel looked to be even! Suddenly, Jewel dropped her sword and gripped her head, falling onto the floor, screaming in pain! “Jewel!” Starla and Jewel rushed towards Jewel, looking at her in extreme worry. Jewel’s screams alerted the rest of the gang. They burst into the room. “What’s going on here?” Grand Ruler asked, “It’s Jewel,” Twilight replied, “ something’s wrong with her!" Then, as sudden as Jewel’s head pain came it disappeared. Her hands fell down to her sides and her opened her eyes. “Are you okay Jewel?” Starla asked. Jewel looked at everybody in the room, “I-I think I just had a vision,” Jewel answered. Everybody’s eyes widened and they looked at each other. Soon they were all in the throne room, in a private meeting, “Jewel what was your vision about?” Grand Ruler asked, “Well-” Jewel started. Jewel found herself in a forest with a star path on it she followed it and soon came face to face with the Pterosaur. “Welcome Jewel, I’ve been expecting you,” she said, “What is it Pterosaur?” Jewel asked, “Jewel there is a dinosaur in trouble. You need to find it and help it in any way you can.” “But what is the dinosaur and where do I find it?” Jewel questioned. “I shall lead you to where the dinosaur is telepathically. The rest is up to you.” “It is time for me to go now, Good Luck Jewel!” With that the Pterosaur disappeared and Jewel awoke. The gang was shocked! “‘Ay caramba!” Dyno and Myte exclaimed. "This is most interesting, but Jewel, if it is your quest to find and help this creature. You should go.” Grand Ruler approved. “Can one or two of my friends come and help me?” Jewel asked. Grand Ruler nodded. Jewel knew exactly who she wanted to accompany her, “Dyno, Myte will you two come with me?” Jewel asked. “Of course chica,” Dyno answered, “Si, will come along,” Myte added. Jewel smiled. Soon the trio were all packed and ready to go. Everybody bid them a farewell, hoping that Jewel's mission will be a sucess. "So where do we go chica?" Dyno asked "Yea where?" Myte asked Jewel heard the Pterosaurs voice in her head, which was guiding her and the twins to the area where the dinosaur was. "To BlackTop Mountain." Jewel replied.
