“I wanna see ‘Jurassic Pink!’ ” Pinkie Pie said.

“I wish to see ‘The Princess Bridle’! “ Rarity said.

“Those are all movies we have already seen!” Rainbow replied, “Why not try something different?”

“Like what?”

“How about ‘Jason Vorhooves’? “

“Isn’t that a horror movie?”

“Yeah!”

“Ooh! I love scary movies!” Pinkie said, enthusiastically.

“I don’t,” Rarity said, “I don’t like horror...and Pinkie always spills popcorn all over me when she gets scared.”

“No I don’t!” Pinkie huffed, “But if it makes you feel better, I’ll make sure none of my popcorn falls on you. How does that sound?”

“Well...okay. You win, darling.”

“Come on! We’ll take my car.” Rainbow said as she pulled out her keys.

This was how it usually was on Friday. With the weekend ahead of them, they would usually go to the movies and see a film to celebrate the end of school for that week. It was nighttime at the moment, and they all were riding in Rainbow’s sports car to the movie theatre.

While they were riding to their usual theatre, they noticed that a brand-new movie theatre opened up that day. It wasn’t too fancy. It was simply named, “The Theater”. On the wall, a poster for “Jason Vorhooves” was seen. It said that it was showing the movie that night.

“Hey, let’s check out the new theater!” Rainbow said.

“What about our usual spot?” Rarity asked.

“Well, let’s try out this one.”

“Yeah! Maybe it’s even BETTER than the other one!” Pinkie yelled.

“Okay.” Rarity said.

They pulled up in the parking lot of the theater. It was empty, almost ghostly. However, this didn’t bother them. It was the supposed first night of their business. They were just about to leave when Rarity’s earring fell off, and it got lost in Rainbow’s car.

“Girls, wait! My earring went down there...and I can’t find it.” Rarity said, acting like Velma looking for her glasses.

“Can’t it wait? We’re gonna miss the show.” Rainbow said.

“No! I can’t go anywhere without both of them!”

“Alright, alright. Here. Take this, and pay for your ticket when you go in. Pinkie and I are gonna head inside and get some snacks. Oh yeah, and make sure to lock the door on my car!”

Rainbow handed Rarity some money and left with Pinkie into the theater. After five minutes of searching, Rarity finally found her missing ring. She quickly got out of the car, locked the door, and ran into the theater.

The theater lobby was quite plain looking. There was a red carpet in the middle of the floor leading to a dark hall that she supposed went into the theater itself. The walls were black, and had various movie posters hanging on them. On the left wall, a clock silently ticked as the seconds passed by. To the right, there were a few pieces of popcorn spilled on the floor. Finally, right next to the entrance to the dark hallway, was a pale man in a red outfit. He was the usher. Rarity walked down the carpet and approached the man, who held out his hand. She handed him the money, he didn’t even look at her.

“Thank you. Please enjoy the movie.” The usher said in a monotone voice as he pocketed the money.

Rarity tilted her head at his odd behavior, but shrugged it off and walked down the dark hall. Her view went pitch black for a second before finding herself in a bright room. However, after examining it further, she realized she was back in the lobby.

“Huh?” Rarity asked out loud to nopony in particular.

The usher was still standing next to the hall entrance, spacing out blankly. His hands were still behind his back. Rarity slowly walked down the carpet and approached the hall entrance. She walked past the usher. Even though she didn’t hand him any more money, he still said what he said last time.

“Thank you. Please enjoy the movie.” The usher said.

She walked down the dark hall again. Again, her vision turned to black. She found herself yet again, in the lobby. NOW, she was disturbed. The first time it happened, she got weirded out...but this time, she was scared. She again walked past the creepy usher, and again, he said:

“Thank you. Please enjoy the movie.”

She walked down the dark hall, and appeared in the lobby again. However, the usher was nowhere to be seen. She raised an eyebrow, and walked down the hall again. She walked down the carpet and went into the dark hall. When she did...surprise, surprise, she was back in the lobby. Rarity had enough. She turned around and walked to the exit.

“I’ll call them later. I’ll walk home. Maybe I’m just sleepy, and just imagining things.” Rarity said.

She attempted to push open the doors, but to no avail. She tried pulling, but the doors didn’t budge. She pounded on the glass, but it was no use. She finally gave up, and decided to walk down the hall again. However, when she did, she found herself walking aimlessly through the darkness. She wanted to turn back, but she knew it would be no use. She just kept walking foreword. She suddenly stopped walking, and saw something that chilled her to the bone. The lights came on, and she saw the usher about ten feet away from her. He was still facing her, his hands behind his back, but his face...it was swirled around, like a soft serve ice cream cone. Rarity froze in her spot, and could only stare back at the horrifying being. She suddenly heard a weird noise, like if a computer glitched on a single high-pitched noise. It hurt her ears, and she covered them. This lasted for only twenty seconds, before the noise stopped and she reappeared in the lobby.

Rarity was too scared to walk foreword. Everything was like it never happened. Even the usher, with a normal face now, was still standing next to the hall like nothing happened. Rarity slowly approached the hall again, knowing there was nowhere else to go.

“Thank you. Please enjoy the movie.” he said in his monotone voice.

Rarity went through the hall and, as expected, she reappeared in the lobby. However, something was different. The posters...were different. They all had images of the usher with the swirled face. The usher himself was pacing in and out of the dark hallway, a horrified expression on his face. Rarity approached him, fear flowing in her blood.

“Sir, are you okay?” She asked the usher.

The usher walked backwards into the dark hall, his horrified expression unchanged. As Rarity approached the entrance, she heard a glitchy, robotic voice say something. It sounded like it said something about “other levels” or something like that, but she wasn't sure. Rarity continued to follow the usher down the hall, and saw him disappear in the dark. She walked down the hall, and reappeared in the lobby.

When she looked to the other side, there was just a brick wall blacking her from the dark hallway. Even though it was pointless, she noticed her legs were moving toward the wall. She couldn’t stop them. She continued until she bumped right into the brick wall...

...and woke up.

Rarity gasped and she sat up in her bed. She panted like she just ran a marathon, and took in her surroundings.

“Rarity, what’s wrong?” a voice called.

Rarity looked up and saw Sweetie belle standing in her doorway with a look of concern on her face.

“Oh...heh heh...nothing, Sweetie.” Rarity responded, “Oh! What day is it today?”

“Uhh, Friday?”

“Oh good! It was all a dream. Well, you’d better get ready for school! Would you like to come with Rainbow, Pinkie, and I to the movies tonight?”

“Wow! Really?! Can I bring Scootaloo and Apple Bloom?”

“Of course!”

“Yay!”

Sweetie Belle left the room to go get ready for school. Rarity sat up in her bed and grabbed her phone. She noticed she got a single text message. It was from an unknown number, but when she read it...she almost fainted.

The message read, “NEVER REACH THE OTHER LEVELS”
