He had a bouquet tucked in one foreleg and some home made snacks that Applejack had prepared specially, for him to give to Fluttershy. He couldn't believe it; today he was really going to propose to the sweet mare that had won his heart. She had been there for him in that dark time after Cheerilee had broken up with him. Their friends all believed Mac and Shy were meant for each other, their gentle, quiet personalities fitting beautifully together. The two had dated for a great many months and now BigMac was finally ready to go further in their relationship. -C'mon Mac, you can do this!- he told himself sternly, anticipating her smiles when he popped the question. With this image, BigMac finally had the courage to knock on Fluttershy’s door, heart racing. He smiled when the shy pegasus peeked through the door, her lustrous pink mane falling over her face. BigMac!" She brushed her mane aside to smile lovingly up at him, the mere sight making him blush. She was like the most beautiful apple in the world, one made of the most delicate crystal. “Hello Fluttershy, I brought you some flowers and cakes, mah sister baked 'em specially. M-may I come inside?” He asked while scuffling a hoof in the ground. Fluttershy smiled, nodded eagerly and allowed her love inside. BigMac trotted in and coughed to get her attention, before she disappeared into the kitchen and he lost his nerve. “Fluttershy, you have always been the prize-winnin' apple in my eye. You were there for me when I went through those troubled times. Your patience to deal with my outright stubbornness has really paid off. You've made me into a better stallion.” BigMac paused a moment then went down on one knee and removed a beautiful hoof-made ring from within his saddle bag. “What I am trying to say is, will you be my wife, Flutters?” He said softly, showing her the ring he had worked so hard to get for her. A ring to match her beauty and spirit... Fluttershy’s eyes grew wide as it sunk in, then she gave a happy squeal and bounded forward to hug BigMac. “Yes, I will marry you Mac.” She said with tears of joy streaming down her face. “If you are happy my little butterfly, why are you crying?” BigMac said as he nuzzled his fiancee. He hoped he hadn't scared her by being so spontaneous. “These are tears of joy, my dear love.” Fluttershy said with a smile, as she returned his nuzzle. Angel heard the speech and thumped his foot to get the shy pegasus' attention. He was not willing to give his friend up that easily, Mac needed to know that! Fluttershy giggled a moment as she seen Angel giving Mac jealous death glares, but she was ready for her pet rabbit’s protest and now she nodded to Mac, having seen a familiar bag of food when he had knealt to propose. BigMac turned to the white rabbit, pulling the food bag out of his saddle pack and tossed it to Angel. The bunny pounced on it, opening it up and pulling out a bag of carrots and the Smarty Pants Doll. “Don’t think for a moment I forgot about you, lil bunny. You can be the ring bearer at the wedding if you want.” BigMac said matter of fact. Angel looked from Mac to Flutters then nodded, gave him a salute and dashed away with the carrots and Smarty Pants. The wedding was going to be a fairly big affair, held in the Umbrum Empire since the amount of guests attending turned out to be far too many for Ponyville to handle. So Fluttershy asked King Sombra to officiate the wedding. He had been ruling peacefully over his recently freed Umbrum for a good few years now. Of course the Umbrum and Infinitum, a special type of Umbrum Alicorn, was over the moon with the request. He immediately hired Pinkie Pie to plan the party and the great but humble Trixie, a traveling magician, asked if she could put on a show, delighted when the King agreed! Between checking on the party, Sombra was often looking for his partner, a chaos lord known as Discord. They had publicly announced their relationship just a few weeks prior and now enjoyed the benefits of being able to snuggle in public. Discord had. A short attention span, however, causing his long suffering King to often go searching for him. In this case, he was palling up with Pinkie to design the party! The day of the wedding soon arrived and with it a great many guests for both the bride and groom. Chief amount them their respective family members, meaning Fluttershys spacey brother had to be forced into a suit and brush his made neatly. Fluttershy poked her head over the railing of the upper balcony and squeaked in horror when she saw the huge crowd. So many ponies, all eyes fine don her-! This felt like too much and she fled with a squeak of fear, fleeing past Rarity and barrelling into her room, slamming the door behind her. "Fluttershy, darling? Whatever is the matter?" Rarity asked worriedly as she knocked at the door, pressing an ear to it she could hear her shy friend bawling. “I… p-please don’t make me go out there Rarity.” The butter yellow pegasus wailed. Rarity had been by her side since that morning, and also made Fluttershy’s dress and done up her mane. “This is your wedding darling, you want it to be special, yes? All those ponies are special friends and family, they love you and just want to see you on the happiest day of your life. Every pony here came to see you and BigMac be wed. An elopement would not be proper, you deserve the best; and we prepared everything so don’t you worry one bit my dear.” The door creaked open and a teary-eyed Pegasus peered out. "T-they won't laugh? What if I mess up the vows?" She looked scared again. "They won't, you'll do just fine. Just focus on Mac if you feel scared, OK? Rarity said whilst hugging her friend. "I want to b-but-" Fluttershy heard a loud cheer from the main room and hid herself in the closet with a squeak "oh no!" Rarity decided she needed backup and promised the petrified pegasus she would be back in a tick. King Sombra was dressed in his fanciest formal attire when he stepped up onto the stage and smiled serenely at the crowed gathered. They cheered and bowed their heads respectfully to the monarch. This had to be one of the biggest crowds yet to see him officiate a wedding. Just as he was about to make a speech about the upcoming event, Rarity galloped onto the stage and he stopped before he'd gotten one word out, blinking at the unicorn, why did she look so nervous? "So sorry to interrupt, darling," Rarity whispered to the King. “But I'm afraid that we have a slight problem that will delay this occasion. Please follow me and I will explain it the best I can.” "Please excuse me, everypony, I must attend to an official matter." He bowed elegantly and the curious crowd exchanged murmurs, wondering what had happened that required his majesty's sole attention? King Sombra had a look of concern on his brow, as he followed the fashionista through the crowd and into the peacefully quiet corridor beyond. “What is the problem, miss Rarity?” “Fluttershy, the poor dear, has locked herself in her room and simply refuses to leave it- Is that her dress on the floor!” Rarity fainted on the spot as they walked into the changing room and she seen the discarded garment. Hurriedly she picked up and checked it for dirt and creases as Sombra approached the closet Fluttershy's scared squeaks were emanating from. The concerned King knocked on the door. “Fluttershy, it's Sombra, are you alright?” he asked softly so as not to frighten her. “No….” She said between hiccups and tears. "Do you not wish to see your special somepony?" He asked gently. "I d-do, but I'm j-just too scared! There's so many ponies, what if I let them all down?!" Her voice reached a frantic pitch and she whimpered. "I know you're scared, I was the same before my coronation." The King said softly "but I wasn't alone, I had my best friends there. I had you and the girls, remember?" Fluttershy nodded and umm-hmm'd. She remembered that occasion, there'd been hundreds and hundreds of ponies there to see the former tyrant step up to lead again, this time as a gentler, more kind figure adored by his race. “I will get your friends, but I ask that please put the dress on again, for Rarity’s sake.” King Sombra asked before galloping out of the area. As he ran by her, Rarity floated the dress up so a trembling yellow hoof could take it.. Sombra went out into the crowd and soon spotted Fluttershy’s closest friends. “I apologize for interrupting, but Fluttershy needs you at the moment.” "No problem!" Twilight Sparkle said instantly and teleported herself and the other girls into the room. She saw Fluttershy huddled up crying, albeit redressed now. “Don’t make me go out there.” The butter pegasus pleaded. Applejack gently ran a hoof against Fluttershy’s back trying to calm the mare down. “You planned this wedding for months. Are you really going to back out now due to nerves, sugarcube? You got the heart of a lion, I seen ya face the worst before. When you were up against that dragon? What about when you were Flutterguy?" “I remember..Yes…” Fluttershy squeaked, not even making eye contact with Applejack. “My brother is waiting patiently for you to make your appearance. He is as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs, yet he is doing this for you. He none to great with such gatherings neither, but he loves you more than he wants ta hide. Do you think you can handle this for your love?” Applejack said gently, giving Fluttershy a tight hug. Fluttershy gulped, but she knew Applejack was right. She stood up and put her shoes back on, the final piece of her ensemble. “You’re right, Applejack. I would do anything for the one I love, even if means lots of ponies are watching me.” "These mah girl!" Applejack praised, as everypony else in the room sighed with relief. They trotted alongside, seating themselves in the front pews as Fluttershy went to join her father, who'd be giving her away. The wedding was back on schedule! King Sombra stepped back onto the central stage, glad the crisis had been resolved. BigMac was really nervous but managed to hide it while waiting for his bride to show. He heard the birds singing the bridal march and he let out a breath he had not been aware he had been holding. He caught the Kings eye as he looked up, wondering how he could be so calm? "It will be fine." The Alicorn said loud enough only for Mac to hear, which made him feel a little better. Fluttershy focused on her beloved, as she went down the aisle with a confidence she was not aware she possessed. Her Dad brought her to the altar and smiled at the couple as he stepped back. King Sombra was smiling as he addressed the huge crowd, his crown glinting in the light streaming in the big windows behind him. “Mares and gentlecolts, it is my honour to welcome you all here today. We are gathered here to celebrate the union of BigMacintosh and Fluttershy!” The crowd cheered and Fluttershy blushed, but kept her eyes on the King as he spoke, feeling the warmth of her soon to be husbands body next to hers. Sombra smiled warmly at them, and from atop his back Angel bunny winked at his owner, making her feel better. "BigMacintosh, do you take Fluttershy to be your wife, to live together in a special union? Do you promise to love and comfort her in her time of need, honor and keep her safe for all your days be they better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness or health. Do you promise to be faithful only to her, for as long as you both are living? "Ah- I do!" Mac did his best to speak clearly, and the King nodded in acknowledgment, deep red eyes moving to the bride next. Fluttershy, do you take BigMacintosh to be your wedded husband, to live together in a special union? Do you promise to love and comfort him in his time of need, honor and keep him safe for all your days, be they better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness or health? Do you promise to be faithful only to him, for as long as you both are living? "I do!" Fluttershy said boldly, feeling her heart lift. “The strength of your commitment is clear, your love unbeatable. It is both my honour and delight to now pronounce you mare and gentlecolt!" The crowd cheered as one and confetti fell from the ceiling as Pinkie set off her canons! (Special quiet ones she'd made so Flutters wouldn't get scared). "You may now kiss the bride” King Sombra said joyously as he smiled happily at the newly weds. BigMac kissed his wife enthusiastically earning loads of hoof stampings of approval. Fluttershy blushed happily as he let her go and they nuzzled noses. Fluttershy and BigMac had already decided to stay in the Umbrum Kingdom for their honeymoon. Fluttershy was extremely happy to check out “The Shy Center for injured animals”, a center named for her by the King for her part in helping him back when he'd first been recovered from the hands of a mad gargoyle prince bent on destroy the Princesses. “I am glad we came here for our honeymoon.." the yellow Pegasus said to her husband as they took a leisurely walk down the street. "There is so much to see here, it's really grown! Not to mention King Sombra and Discord’s gift was really quite generous. I'm eager to try out the new restaurant today!” Fluttershy said with delight. Discord and King Sombra had given the newlyweds a stack of gift certificates to use while visiting. They were even invited to stay as honored guests at the Palace. BigMac had to grin, since his wife was so happy. Once again he was reminded how lucky he was to have her... He laughed pretty hard when they reached the statue of King Sombra, which was sporting a mustache. “Who would add such an odd thing to the statue?” He asked. Fluttershy giggled, since she knew Discord was behind it. “That is Discord’s doing, love. It's an annual thing, Sombra encourages him!” She said before giving her mate a kiss. Discord, who'd spotted them admiring his handiwork and snuck up behind them, now made the moustache vanish from the statue to reappear on BigMac’s face. Fluttershy giggled on seeing the silly handlebar moustache now upon her husband. Amused long enough now, Discord snapped his fingers and the offending mustache disappeared. He was satisfied that he had made his dear friend Fluttershy giggle so. “The mustache is so not you, BigMac.” Discord said cheerily, before leaving to see his precious King Sombra. "Are those two ever gonna get hitched? Far as I can see they're as close to it as they can get!" Mac asked his special mare. "I'm sure they will, they've been together a while now. Discord adores Sombra because he lets him be himself, feel free." Big Mac nodded, he could understand. Fluttershy and BigMac returned to Ponyville a week later. The twosome both had their responsibilities to their work as well as one another. Three days after their return, BigMac moved into her cottage with her, walking to the farm each day to help his sisters run it and Fluttershy ran her clinic for her animal friends. The Apple family had helped clear some surrounding land to build extra habitats for the animals as a wedding gift, which Fluttershy was overjoyed with! Some time later down the road, Fluttershy learned that she was pregnant and created a special themed dinner for her husband that night. “Fluttershy, whats up with the bite size snacks?” BigMac had to ask. “It’s a themed dinner, love. What do all these foods have in common?” She said with a smile. “Baby sized bites of food-" the answer was immediately obvious "-your going to have a foal?” He asked, seeing Fluttershy nod her head happily. He gave a loud whoop of delight and pulled his wife into a celebratory dance. Nine Months Later… Fluttershy went into labor at midday of the Nightmare Night Festival day. Her waters broke while the mane six were having a meeting at the purple princess’ castle. She squeaked urgently and all eyes were swiftly on her. "I'm s-so sorry girls, but I think the baby is coming." She said anxiously. Twilight Sparkle immediately had Fluttershy carried into a guest room nearby, so as to cause less trauma to the already worried mare. “The foal is arriving way too soon, I wasn't expecting the foal until December.” Fluttershy said with a pained whinny. ------------------------------------------------- AppleJack galloped full speed to Sweet Apple Acres and saw her brother exiting the barn. With a sigh of relief she raced over to him. “Fluttershy is in labor, she needs yah.” BigMac could really move fast when he wanted and caused his sister to spin dizzily as he shot past her like a bid red blur. She saw dust clouds flying out behind him as he tore off, she followed behind as fast as she could but he was already out of sight by the time she began King Sombra was on holiday, taking a week off from his duties and naturally he went to Ponyville to visit his friends. It was also to enjoy the famed Nightmare Night Festival. He had heard that the Apple Family did something special with their mazes and decided that he wanted to be part of the festival! As he approached the farm, he was greeted with the sight of BigMac galloping by him at full speed. “BigMac, what’s the rush? I thought you were working on the maze for tonight?” The startled Alicorn persuaded his wings to settle down, the darn things went pomf whenever anything scared him! “Can’t talk now, Shy needs me.” Mac said as he dashed away, making leaves scatter. Sombra's eyes went wide eye. She was giving birth early, the foal was due in mid December and it was only October 31st. He saw AppleJack galloping by just as fast and decided to simply follow the two Apples. This was serious and he wanted to help since Flutter’s was his friend. As they approached, King Sombra saw the mid-mare stepping in the door and knew things had to be serious for somepony to call her. “How is Fluttershy doing?” He asked her as he ran in behind, dreading the worst. The mare did a double take at seeing a powerfully built Alicorn alongside the husband and his sister! She motioned them to stay out as he went into the room Fluttershy was in. "What's going on?" Mac cried, finally finding himself able to move. He was about to rush in when the door opened and the midmare ran out, she was in tears. She was carrying a tiny wrapped up bundle in one foreleg. Seeing the foal wasn't moving, and now hearing his wife's heart breaking wails, Big Mac started to cry. AJ wasn't far behind, but ha dither presence of mind to push him towards the room where his grieving wife lay. Sombra was agitated on seeing this and growled softly. "I'm afraid it's passed away.." the midmare choked back a sob, then jumped in shock when the monarch swiped the bundle from her arms. He removed his cloak and folded it repeatedly to make a cushion. Setting the foal atop it, he set a hoof gently against the still born foals chest. The mid mare stared, he was performing a procedure she'd already tried, rubbing its chest to stimulate a heartbeat, but something. Was happening- magic swirled around his horn and he changed from a flesh and blood being to an apparition of glittering clear crystal. Sombra focused his magic, seeking the foals heart and closing his eyes. He slowed his own breathing as his magic wrapped around the child's heart, persuading it to start mimicking his heartbeat. He was not going to accept this fate, since Fluttershy and Big Mac planned months for this foal. In his trance like state he could hear the sobbing of the child's mother and father.. He touched his horn to the child's head, and the midmare seen a small spark jump between the two. She was mesmerized, would this work? She got her answer seconds later. The midmare's jaw dropped in shock as the baby twitched, sniffled, then took in a big lungful of air. She did this several times, each breath more stable than the last. The King stumbled back, reverting to his flesh and blood form. The crystal phenomena he'd just displayed was a power hungry spell but very precise, able to channel his magic in a way he could use to start the child's heart. The midmare ran to support him as he slumped dizzily to the floor. "Are you alright? How did you..?" She looked from him to the child. "It's..my ultimate form, so to speak, as an Infinitum. We are known as crystal rulers in mythology. The child lives..I am fine. A good outcome for all..." he got up, cradling the child in one foreleg and heading for the door, the stunned midmare behind him. Twilight Sparkle was talking to Big Mac who was grieving with Fluttershy. The mare had been devastated over the stillbirth of her poor filly. Fluttershy had cried herself almost to sleep, which was probably the best since she was heartbroken. She needed rest. They all looked up as the door clicked open, seeing a gently smiling Sombra and a frankly stupefied midmare. Then they seen why he was smiling and heard it too. Flutters head lifted, red rimmed eyes going wide as she heard a faint whimper. Sombra sat by her bedside and handed her the squirming bundle of joy. She gave a choked sob, barely able to believe it... She lay the baby against her and watched in wordless delight as the newborn nursed, which made Sombra smile. "Sombra..." the Pegasus whispered "how did you-?" “Your foal only needed a little encouraging, dear Fluttershy. I believe she will be fine, she felt the spark of my umbral magic as was close enough to return. She may have a smudge of Umbrum in her blood now as a consequence of bringing her back to us.” "Then she has even more love inside her." Fluttershy said with tears in her eyes. Big Mac gave Sombra a hug, barely able to express his gratitude to the King. “You saved Flutter’s heart and my daughter, that alone makes us both happy beyond words. I want you to be her God Sire, your majesty.” "It would be my pleasure, Mr. Macintosh. If you two need anything, just let me know. "Look," Fluttershy said to the two stallions “She has a heart shaped nub on her forehead!" "Ah, yes," Sombra said "that might grow more prominent when she is older. I infused her with Umbrum energy, thus making her part Umbrum. I may have to send her to School to understand what she is, if you would like?” King Sombra said, feeling a little dizzy since he was still recovering from the use of so much magic. The new parents were more than happy, they owed their child's life to the stallion and knew he'd look after her. Sombra stepped back to let the girls all crowd around and admire the new baby. "What are you gonna call her?" Rainbow asked. "I-I was thinks Moonlight Bunny?" Fluttershy said softly, looking at her husband. "It's perfect. Our little Moonlight Bunny..." Mac’s voice was full of pride as he watched his little one nuzzle against Fluttershy's cheek. Princess Luna saw a new door appear in the twilight domain. She checked it out immediately and felt a familiar sensation as she rest a hoof against the door. She opened the door and saw a tiny Umbrum foal flitting about with a jackalope companion. She closed the door and smiled, since the foal had been born on her Holiday. “Looks like Night Blaze will have a friend.” She said with a happy sigh. Later that afternoon... Fluttershy woke up to feeling something nursing on her. She lifted her blanket and saw a tiny pink bundle laying against her stomach. The baby filly looked up at her mother with wide violet eyes. She gave a cute little yawn, making her mother smile proudly. Fluttershy held her precious newborn in her forelegs and nuzzled her tenderly. She was relieved that her foal had survived, thanks to Sombra's magic. She noticed the tiny red heart on her forehead, a remnant of the magic used to revive her. “Welcome, Moonlight Bunny.” She said as Big Mac got up from his post by her side and went to hold his foal. Sombra spent the remainder of the day assisting the Apple Family with setting up the maze, taking on Big Macs job. He had decided, costume wise, that he was going to be the scary evil tyrant. A task which he could pull off without a hitch. He became his shadow form and grinned, since this was his favourite trick on Nightmare Night. All he had to do was open his eyes and scare the foals. Even though he was known now as a good guy, the kids still enjoyed being spooked by the apparition from their history books, making them squeal with delighted fear! At first he was barely able to achieve the form, since he had used up a great deal of his Umbrum magic in saving Moonlight Bunny. But, thinking about his God-foal gave him a surge of energy to fully reestablish his full form. Discord had arrived in the meantime and was in Friendship Castle listening to the meeting the harmony mares were having. He sat himself down and counted, noticing no Fluttershy present. “Where is Fluttershy?” Discord said worriedly, from his upside down throne. Applejack looked up at him with a grin. “Ill give ya a clue. I am an Aunt, Fluttershy had a beautiful filly earlier in the day and King Sombra made it a joyous occasion. The filly had been stillborn and his magic brought her back to the living. Sure she is part Umbrum but that doesn’t change a thing. My niece is still my niece.” At the mention of both his friends baby and his lovers name, Discord was off like a shot to find his love. Discord had no trouble finding Sombra, he just entered the shadows and soon located him. "Found you!" He declared and nuzzled his love. He noticed Sombra seemed listless and correctly deduced he run his power down. “I heard what you did for Fluttershy, you really are the best, my King. Here is a little boost of power to help you maintain your shadows easier. AppleJack told me how you gave Moonlight Bunny a good portion of Umbrum energy.” As he spoke, Discord touched Sombra’s horn and the pony soon felt fully charged once more- not to mention a little..frisky. He soon realized what the prankster had done. “Dammit Discord, now is not the time. And you did that on purpose!” King Sombra complained, fighting to bring his imaginations libido under control. The phrase "roll in the hay" way proving very tempting, given his surroundings. “Silly Sombra I did give you a power boost after all.” He said waggling his eyebrows at his love. One eyebrow detached and tried to wander off, only to be swiftly put back in place. "Mmm, we still have time before the ponies start arriving. Why not celebrate with me?" The Draconequus pouted. The King sighed, he couldn't stay mad at him for long... "Fine, but we are not doing it here, let's go to your chaos realm." Discord grinned and hugged him, before whisking him away for a quick romp. “Mistake this not; I love you, but you are so, going to pay for that later.” Sombra said with a huff, as he settled down and turned back into a shadow, before foals could discover his hiding spot. "I regret nothing!" Discord winked, before snapping his fingers and vanishing from the hiding spot, to leave King Sombra with his fun. Discord went to the Hospital to visit Fluttershy. She'd been admitted there since the Doctors wanted to make absolutely sure that the mare was out of danger. Discord saw the pegasus sleeping and dared to peek at Moonlight Bunny. The Draconequus saw the beauty mark on Bunny’s forehead and chuckled softly. His King had marked Moonlight Bunny as one of his subjects.. Princess Luna was in Ponyville celebrating Nightmare Night with the town folk. She heard from Princess Twilight Sparkle that Fluttershy gave birth to a healthy daughter on her Festival. The Lunar Princess entered Ponyville General to see Fluttershy and give the newborn a blessing. “We welcome thee Moonlight Bunny.” Princess Luna said as she gave the foal a kiss on her forehead. Luna saw the heart-shape mark and knew who did this, she could sense his magic. Fluttershy woke up and saw Princess Luna looking down at her foal. The presence of Luna calmed the new mother down. Luna was known as the Princess that protected foals. Her kiss alone was a blessing to her daughter. Princess Luna left Ponyville General to return to the festivities. She heard foals talking about a vicious monster hiding in the maze. This got Luna’s attention, so she went exploring within the maze. King Sombra sensed Princess Luna's presence and grinned mischievously. He had always wanted to play a prank on the moon Princess. He went full scale shadow form when she entered the area. “You dare enter my domain?!” He shouted and swooped down at Luna. Princess Luna laughed at his attempt to scare her. “Oooh, I am so scared.” Luna pretend to be afraid of the shadow king, galloping with the foals out of the area. She was not fooled by the shadow, since she recognized who it was. “Discord, she is not buying my act.” Sombra pouted to his partner in crime. Discord made a bucket of chocolate milk appear and dumped it on Luna and the foals. “I do hope she will forgive me for that.” Princess Luna scowled since the milk was cold and sticky. “Discord!” She bellowed in the Canterlot Voice. She knew this trick... “Yes!” Said the all too cheerful voice. “Oh, I forgot the whip cream.” He made a giant can of it appear and spray the foals who burst out laughing. They skidded about in the cream, flinging it like snow at each other. King Sombra saw this and face-hoofed. His beloved could be such a brat at times, yet he loved him for it. He just prayed that Princess Luna would be forgiving of this prank and not turn him into a lawn ornament. “Would you attack a Draconequus with a foal in his hands.” Discord said holding Night Blaze in his arms. King Sombra was stunned to see his Son away from his Empire and in his Love’s hands. “Discord, what is Night Blaze doing here? Page Assist was looking after him.” King Sombra said with a snort. “Would you believe he wanted to meet Moonlight Bunny?” The Draconequus said with a shrug. Before the cross monarch could pounce him, Discord popped out of the area and arrived in Fluttershy’s room. “Discord?” Fluttershy squeaked when she saw him appear out of the blue. “Hello Fluttershy, Night Blaze wanted to meet Moonlight Bunny.” He said holding Night Blaze up and made him wave to the newborn. Night Blaze wanted his mommy, confused by this unfamiliar room and began to cry, thus causing Moonlight Bunny to cry. “Please make them stop crying.” Discord said in a panic. King Sombra had no trouble locating his Son and saw Discord covering his ears from the two crying foals who were now under Fluttershys care. “Couldn’t take the heat, could you Discord? Night Blaze, daddy is here.” Sombra said gently, taking his Son back and rocking him. Princess Luna entered the room and saw King Sombra rocking his son in his arm. “Hello Luna, I wanted to see how Fluttershy was doing and Bunny.” He hand Night Blaze back to his mother calming the Prince down. While he and Sombra were in love now, the King had once had a thing with Luna, long before his imprisonment. On return from the moon and restored to her normal self, Luna's long dormant pregnancy had been jump started and she'd given birth to a baby colt. “Can you watch Blaze while I continue the nights festivities?” Luna asked with a smile. As the reason behind the festival, she was eagerly sought by the children. “Sure thing, I will return home with Blaze later. I am positive that Page Assist is likely tearing the Palace apart, trying to find the Prince.” Sombra said, pitying the guards in his palace. Luna was tired when the festivities finally came to an end. She went through Discord’s portal, carrying her son who was sleeping and holding a plush that Fluttershy had made for him. Night Blaze held the stuffed bunny tightly, looking adorable. Page Assist saw Princess Luna appear in the Palace with Night Blaze and relaxed. “You brought the young master home.” He said with relief in his voice. The Guards relaxed when they saw the Prince back and went back to guarding the Palace. Princess Luna smiled serenely and placed Blaze back in his crib. King Sombra and Discord returned to the Palace later that night in a cheerful mood. Nightmare Night in Ponyville had been exciting. The King even even forgave Discord for bringing Night Blaze to Ponyville, and there was much snuggling done.
