Seven hundred years in the future, Equestria is a pony-ruled nation, no longer alien to things such as pain and war. The Elements of Harmony are long-gone, and Luna and Celestia are but just a old mare's tale. All seems peaceful. However, an ancient threat is arising. A menace that had long since dropped out of history before the rule of the Alicorn Sisters. With the threat, comes the cold, the winter. And the promise of a new Ice Age.
