The Great Species War

NORAD millitary facility/ 56 miles southwest of Denver, Colorado

Richard and his colleagues were working on a new technology to instantly bring U.I.S.A soldiers to the front lines, without having the soldiers marching into the front lines themselves and adding an element of surprise, as the U.I.S.A troops would instantly appear in front of the enemy. Furthermore no major supply lines needed to be made as the supply convoys would just have to travel through the wormhole and get to the troop almost instantly. At the moment they were in the southeast testing chamber of the Mt.Cheyenne complex, outside of the initial NORAD building.

"I will report to General McGuire that the wormhole generator test will commenced soon,"said Carl.

"Alright then, I will be here preparing the fusion generator to energize the wormhole generator,"replied Richard.

"Ok,"said Carl.

With that Carl began the trek up the stairs to the North American Aerospace Defense Command building. Inside a swarm of men and women frivolously worked on there computer workstations, the gigantic quantum computer that was W.O.P.R. Carl then walked up to the doors that lead to the control room. There were large computer monitors at the front of the room displaying all threats to North America, and all the other territories of the U.I.S.A, the rest of the room was full of workstations that all were connected to the W.O.P.R computer. In the middle of the room General McGuire having a conversation with one of his officers.

"Sir, I must speak with you,"said Carl.

"Ah, Dr. Anderson, what do you need?"asked McGuire.

"Well sir, I am here to inform you that the test with the wormhole generator is about to begin,"replied Carl.

"Well we will be here viewing the test,"said McGuire.

"Alright sir, I better get going and start the test,"replied Carl.

With that Carl started walking back to Test Chamber 12, he walked past the doors of the control room and into the main hallway. He greeted his friend Nancy, and then he started running down to the test chamber. As he got back to the test chamber he greeted all the specialists in the control room, he finally then walked up to his friend Richard.

"Hello again, so what's going on,"asked Richard.

"Well, General McGuire has cleared us to commence the test, and he will be viewing the test form the NORAD control room,"replied Carl.

"Ok,"said Richard.

The two men got into hazmat suits and headed out to the wormhole generator, it was enormous, being three hundred feet long by fifty feet wide. It used T11 fusion generators, powered the wormhole expander, they were the most powerful power generators ever built, having a power rating of thirteen trillion watts per hour.

"Hey Carl could you start energizing the wormhole generator"asked Richard.

"Yea I can do that, how much power do you want going to the generator?"asked Carl.

"How about putting the fusion generator to 100%,"replied Richard.

"Don't you think that is a little excessive?"said Carl.

"Na, this wormhole generator needs a ton of power to function,"replied Richard.

"Wait, don't...,"exclamed McGuire before he was inturupted by a massive arch of power.

Alarms started blaring inside the control room, the computer monitors were showing that the wormhole generator had gone into overload. The specialist tried to shut down the fusion generators, and cancel the test, but when they realized that nothing was going to stop the wormhole generator from having a fatal power overload, they started to panic. Some tried to escape, but it was to late, the specialist, Carl and Richard wanted in horror as the generator exploded, killing everyone in the test chamber, and transporting all the continents of the world except Antartica to Equis.

Mainehatten, Equestria

Night streaker was taking her evening walk around the city, her slave Jonathan, or at lest that was what he called himself, was looking after her two foals. She was looking out at the expansive ocean from the harbor, when a bright flash appeared followed by a massive splash. Out in the ocean there looked to be several strange ships, fire was coming out of the ships, and explosions could be heard, Night Streaker was in a state of panic, and so was all the other ponies around her, she started running back to her home on Fifth and Harmony street.

Equestrian Royal Navy Complex / Mainehattan, Equestria

Admiral Iornhoof was at his desk when he heard about these strange ships. Now he was at the main admiralty room discussing how to approach and intercept the ships reported near Mainehatten harbor. They had already decided that they would use the Equestrian Second Royal Fleet, as it possessed the most powerful ships in the Equestrian Navy. The Second Royal Fleet had a total of twenty ships, they were the ERN Harmony, ERN Magic, ERN Loyalty, ERN Honisty, ERN Kindness, ERN Genorosity, ERN Laugter, ERN Royal Sister, ERN Celestial Fury, ERN Lunar Fury, ERN Solar Enchantment, ERN Mithical Night, ERN Equestria, ERN Canterlot, ERN Mainehatten, ERN Cloudsdale, ERN Ponyvile, ERN Guardian, ERN Warrior, and the ERN Bravery. After the discussion ended in the admiralty room Admiral Iornhoof walked to the to the microphone room to tell his fellow Marines the plan.

"Ok I have a very important announcement to make. Of the coast of Mainehattan we have reports of multiple hostile ships, they seem to Iorn clads, so we will be using the Second Equestrian Fleet to intercept and neutralize the hostile ships. I also will have the third and first fleet ready if anything were to go wrong,"said Iornhoof, over the microphone.

UISS Jefferson; UISA First Fleet

"This is Admiral S. A. Johnson of the first fleet, all personal report to your captains for instructions, we are being attacked by the Soviets. I repeat, we are being atacked by the Soviets,"he said, over the intercom.

Marines were scurrying up and down the deck, some were entering the control room for the massive 22 inch gun turrets, others were manning the secondary 11 inch gun turrets.

"Hey Gabriel, go and man the anti airplane machine guns, and you John go up to gunary Sargent Richardson to man secondary turret 4, GO!!!" Said Luttenant Sargent Goldberg.

"Sir the Russian ships have backed down, and are targeting some primitive ships,"said Luttenant Smith

"What! Cease fire!" Said Luttenant Sagent Goldberg.

With theat, all the turrets and guns of the Jefferson powered down, The Admiral also ordered the cease fire of the other battle ships of the fleet after he realized the same thing that the Luttenant did.

The ERN. Harmony

The Harmony, and the rest of the second royal fleet were now face to face with their enemy, Iornhoof and the rest of his crew were preparing for battle, when they relised that their were humans meaning the gigantic ships before them. The crew was dumbfounded by which nation would allow humans to be part of their army, and better yet, why would they let them man such impressive millatary equipment. Though the crew felt themselves superior to humans, they couldn't,t help feeling humbled by the gigantic ships.

"You have thirty seconds to surrender, or falter among the might of the Second Royal Equestrian Fleet!"exclaimed Admiral Iornhoof.

"We will never surrender to you, die under the might of the motherland's navy,",replied Admiral Kolvehvy.

"Then we have no choice but to distroy you! Under the vows of Celestia her self, may the sun forever rain terror on your souls,"said Admiral Iornhoof.

"Fire!"ordered Iornhoof.

The cannons of all the ships fired at the USN. Kolnechof, but nothing happened to the mighty ship, instead the blast dented the hull of the Generosity, which was too close to the ship. Now Iornhoof's crew were scared out of their wits, as the massive 20 inch main turrets of the Kolnechof aimed at the Magic, and fired, the entirety of the ship burst into flames, and burning chunks of the ship fell on other ships of the second royal fleet, causing them to catch fire. They were quickly put out but during the frenzy of trying to put out the flames, the Kolnechof managed to fire at four other ships.

"I wan't the cannons to be put to full power,"ordered Iornhoof.

"Yes sir!"called out the sailors in unison.

The cannons of the remaining ships started to fire heavy mortar rounds at a speed of eight rounds per minute, but even the heavy mortar rounds could not penetrate the ships hull.

"Sargent Heavy Armor, I need you to go down to the gunpowder store and assist... BOOM.

The Celestial Fury was hit by one of the 22 inch rounds of the Kolnechof, sailors could be screaming in agony as the deck of the great ship bursts into flames. Superstructure paneling flew up into the air and set fire the deck of the Harmony, ponies were jumping out of the side of the Celestial Fury, as it broke in half. At this point, the mighty fleet of twenty had been reduced to a fleet of six.

"Sir, we can't put the fire out, it is now feeding on oil,"said one of the sailors, as the flames on deck grew larger and hotter.

"We have no choice, but to retreat,"said Iornhoof.

"Sound the alarms!,"ordered Iornhoof.

BOOM... BOOM... BOOM... BOOM... the Magic, the Canterlot, the Mithical Night, and the Loyalty had now all been distroyed by the Kolnechof and the rest of the Russian fleet. Only the Harmony and the Lunar Fury survived the onslaught, and they both limped back to Mainhattens harbor.

4 Days Later: Washington DC

"Mr. President it seems that we are no longer on Earth, or even the same galaxy. Executives at NASA have reported that we have lost contact with the scientists conducting the Martia Projects on Mars, and all other extraterrestrial projects, when have also been disconnected from a third of our satellites. Not only that but they have also told us that they have found multiple new landforms scattered all around the planet,"said briefer Jonathan Vires.

"Do we have any other information concerning the incident at one of the NORAD test facilities?"replied the President.

"Yes, sources of the NORD facility have reported the the incident concerning the wormhole expander was far worse than expected. They have said that the blast caused by the fusion generator caused a part of Mt. Cheyenne to collapse the blast could be heard all over the city of Denver, Colorado, and the citizens of the city are in a state of panic. The explosion caused 324 casualties, all being employees of the NORD weapons facility, plus the actual NORAD facilitie is now exposed,"said Mr. Vires.

"Is there any information gathered by any military sources?"asked the President.

"Yes, the UISA Jefferson was about to confront the USN Kolnechof when a group of hostile ships attacked the Russian fleet, it was reported that they looked equine in nature, but had lots of distinctive features that differentiate these creatures from normal horses,"replied Mr. Vires.

"Thank you for the briefing Mr. Vires, but I must contact my Secretary of State and my Director of National Security,"said the President.

With that Mr. Vires left the Oval Office leaving the President alone in the room. The President then got out of his chair and reached for the bright red phone on his desk and dialed up the Secratery of State. As he was wating for the Secratary of State to return the phone call two men burst through the dubble doors of the Oval office.
