Hi, this nohen.
This story is actually more of an accident. You see, I played last saturday a roleplay story with TheOneWithoutAName on Discord. It was our first time and we basically just wanted to try out some ideas. Before we knew it, it was 3 o´clock in the morning and we were still writing like madmen. Like seriously, we were on fire. 
In the end, we clocked in at close to eleven hours and over 25 pages of material. Huge amount of fun.
Towan and I then agreed, that this beast of a one-shot had to be shared with you, so we went over it and compressed and edited our posts into one coherent story. This is an effort of the both of us, where more or less each one of us wrote half the story. It was a lot of fun and we plan to do it again.
Just a quick heads-up. This was a post-by-post play, so first I wrote a part and then Towan wrote and we basically pitched back and forth like this. So don´t be suprised if the style changes, every now and then.
Depending on the reception, we will release future plays. We will switch this around between our accounts, so check in regulary, if you want more of this.

One bad day
Twilight awoke after a long nights sleep. The sun had already risen. Strangely, the town was unusually quiet. Her room was empty and Spike hadn´t open the curtains as usual. In fact, Twilight could barely see in the darkness and needed some time to get used to it. Usually she was woken by the sunrise.
Twilight stood up, brushed her bedmane out of her sight as she stretched with a yawn.

Twilight wrinkled her nose in irritation, but then in alarm as she finally realized the smell. Quickly she traced her steps back, trying to see where the smell was coming from.
It was coming from the cupboard. Opening it, Twilight could see the still smoking remains of her entire wardrobe. The note on the door to the floor had the same scent of light smoke.
Something clicked in the princesses mind. The note connecting to the clothes, wondering if this was some really nasty prank considering how she only got her pajama left now. She took the note. On it was written: “Go to the kitchen, stupid.”
She grunted, highly irritated and awake now. The fire of course though spiked another thought process, making her wonder if a specific dragon was in on the prank. She needed answers, so she stormed down the stairs and toward the castle kitchen, hoping to get some information out of Spike.
The castle floor was cold and Twilight steps echoed through the halls. Arriving in the kitchen, she saw it was empty. Breakfast had not been made, which was very strange. In the corner the TV was on. It was showing an Interview of Princess Celestia in front of the castle in Canterlot. Twilight stood there dumbfounded. She didn't know what to think, if she could think at all. Was what she was seeing even real, or did Rainbow put something in her drink? Her legs felt weak, so that she had to sit down on the kitchen table to get a breather and order her thoughts on what just happened.

Maybe changelings? Did Queen Chrysalis have some loyal ones left? That was a probability. So with that, she tried to lit her magic to take hold of the supposed drake.
When Twilight used her magic though, her horn flared up and sputtered. A few sparks came out the top, that was all. Spike laughed now openly at her. "You can´t use magic! Celestia, bless her tits, put up a anti-magic field, don´t you remember? You have wept like a little baby, when that happened..." His eyes were glazy, as if he remembered a happy memory. "Damn, that was a sight. Still, for 24-hours nopony can use magic. Well except my dragon fire." He looked at Twilight. "Well, don´t stare at me so dumbly, bitch! Ask away, you don´t have much time. Not that I mind you wasting it. Makes things easier for the rest of us..."
"So...What are the rules of this 'game?'," Twilight said with clear distaste.
Spike looked at her dumbfounded. "Did all that slutting erase your braincells, or something? Well, alright..." He clears his throat, before answering in monotone, bored voice: "24-hours to survive. The arena is Ponyville and the outskirts, except Everfree. Zecora was protesting, dumb bitch, so we had to keep her out. All males are allowed to do anything to the nominated, except killing them. If they break their minds before the time runs out, you lose all rights as a person and become property of the winner. Usually that means you become sex-slaves. You can fight, run or hide. You can cooperate together and with other residents, if they want to help you. "You have two hours to prepare and seek help from your aides, who are not allowed to refuse - damn pissed about that one." He looked at Twilight and opened his arms in a dismissive gesture. "Anything else, sister?"
"Are you my only aide, or are there more and how exactly can you help me?"
Spike shook his head. "Usually family are your only aides. Since your father and mother refused and your brother is busy screwing his wife, I was the only one available." He let out a sigh. And you wasted your time to get a head start!"
