Twilight Sparkle was laying in bed reading a book. She wasn't expecting to do anything that day so she decided to relax for that day, Spike was outside with Rarity having a conversation, She didn't know what was taking so long, She wanted to know why they weren't inside having it.
She decided to wait for them to be done though, She was curious about what they were talking about as they didn't tell her. She wanted to hear it badly. She decided to see them so she walked to the window in the living room. When she got to the living room she saw them talking. Spike and Rarity looked at her and became nervous. Twilight went outside as she couldn't take it anymore.
When she got outside they both looked at her and Spike nervously looked at her, he looked at Rarity who was wearing a beautiful but simple dress, Twilight wanted to know what they were talking about.
"What the hell is going on, why are you two talking in private like I can't know something?" Twilight asked, Rarity hesitated but decided to speak anyway. She looked at Twilight and spoke gently hoping Twilight would agree.
"Twilight, Celestia needs you for a mission, we didn't know how to approach you with this and we know you would surely not agree but this mission...it's more important than you think and you can reject it if you want but if you do then that would be a bad option..." Rarity said hesitating. Twilight shrugged and spoke.
"Well...what is it exactly?" Twilight asked. Rarity set down her drink, swallowed and spoke to Twilight with hesitation in her voice.
"Twilight....there as been strange activity that was spotted in the Equestrian ocean and....we don't know what exactly is down there but we have evidence of...an enclosed temple that might have a secret lost artifact that might be a danger to Equestria...we made a wetsuit for you, unfortunately it didn't have any flippers made along with it so you'll technically go in there barefoot....you can reject this mission if you want but-" Rarity was about to say but Twilight cut her off.
"I'll do it." Twilight said as she shrugged, Rarity was speechless as she thought Twilight wouldn't accept the mission, she needed to hear it again just so she could clear up her own confusion with the answer.
"Really? You don't mind? We need to confirm your answer because we will be going immediately, and there are dangers..." Rarity asked Twilight, Twilight nodded and spoke.
"I'll do it, I've been on dangerous missions, this won't be different from the other times that I've been on missions." Twilight said. As Twilight said this Rarity stood up and put her hands on Twilight's shoulders and spoke.
"Twilight you need to understand me when I say this, this mission might mean your death, it means once you accept there won't be a chance to take this decision back, you might not come back from this Twilight, I can't make this decision for you as this is your decision, we need your consent to send you in there, you can reject this mission, if you do we will send someone else in." Rarity told Twilight with tears in her eyes.
Twilight thought hard on her decision, she knew she was going to be at risk because of the dangerous risks under the sea and the dangerous risks in the temple when she went in, she couldn't decided to back out though as she would be a coward doing that. She spoke to Rarity.
"I'll do it, if there is a threat to Equestria I'll do it, if I don't come back, I want you have Spike to live with you, in case I do die I'll give you my will." Twilight said, after that they couldn't say anything else or they might burst into tears so Twilight stood up and Rarity ran to her and wrapped her in her hug, Twilight hugged her back.
A few days later she was at sea with her friends. Celestia was there inside a boat while encircled around a map, they were waiting for Twilight to see them. They were all nervous for Twilight, soon Twilight walked out wearing a long sleeve wetsuit, she was barefoot as she walked up to them.
"Twilight when you get in there there will be all sorts of dangerous squids and other animals inside, there is no water inside so you don't have to keep swimming for the whole mission so use that for your advantage, also when you get in there you need to find the artifact and destroy it, it looks like a crystal and it's been a myth for centuries, it's famous, and the crystal was made by an evil creature, they're might be more crystals as well." Celestia has spoken about it and there's been books and searches for it, all of the searches have failed because they were all in the wrong location but now we know the right location and its here." Pinkie Pie said.
Twilight nodded and Pinkie Pie put her hands on Twilights shoulders and spoke to Twilight in a soft and emotional voice.
"You need to understand that we can't go with you, it's you that has to do this, we can't endanger ourselves we are sorry Twilight but you have to be the one who has to do this, you need to be careful Twilight." Pinkie Pie said. Twilight nodded and Pinkie Pie hugged her. Twilight hugged her as well.
Pinkie Pie then stepped back and Rainbow Dash walked up to her and put a gps tracking device on her. Twilight and Rarity looked at eachother.
"Are you ready kiddo?" Rainbow Dash asked getting emotional, she started to cry but tried to hold it back, Twilight nodded as she accepted the dangers that she will face.
Yes I am, is there anything else I need to know?" Twilight asked, Rainbow Dash nodded and put a hand on Twilight's shoulder.
"Stay alive." Rainbow Dash stated honestly, Twilight held back tears and she nodded. They both hugged eachother, and Fluttershy hugged her.
"We will be waiting for you when you get back, your going to make it Twilight, don't say your going to die, just remember to keep moving, you have to remember that, if you remember that you'll be just fine. Fluttershy kindly said to her friend. Twilight nodded as she started to cry. Fluttershy wiped the tears away and kissed Twilight's forehead.
"Alright let's do it then." Twilight said. Fluttershy and her friends stepped back, Twilight was extremely nervous, she looked at her friends, she wanted to live so she could see her friends, she knew that stalling it would be bad but she was just scared. She started to breath heavily.
"Twilight come here." Rarity said. Twilight walked up to her and Rarity hugged her. Twilight hugged her back, Twilight cried.
"I'm scared Rarity." Twilight cried, Rarity nodded as she let Twilight hug her in order to calm Twilight down.
"I know sweetheart, if it gets to scary for you just think about us and how your doing it for Equestria, keep assuring yourself that you will make it, I'm scared to Twilight, it's not just you that's scared, we are all scared for you but we know that you will pull through but we also can't promise that you won't fail because you might but to us we know you won't." Rarity said, Twilight nodded and let go of Rarity.
Twilight stepped back and Applejack walked up to her and opened up a case and revealed a handgun.
"Y'all need some defense down there, you won't be going in blind, be conservative with your ammo because you only have so much, I hope you know how to use it because it's the only thing you got down there." Applejack said. Twilight nodded and picked up the gun and the ammo, she loaded it and then stored away the extra ammo in a small pouch connected to her wetsuit, she put her handgun in a holster and put it around her waist.
"Thanks, I...know how to use one, it's not that hard." Twilight said, Applejack walked away and Twilight faced the water. She walked closer to it and then sat on the edge of the boat and then she swung her legs over the side of the boat and prepared to jump in.
Her friends turned on Twilight's tracker and gave Twilight an oxygen tank. Twilight stood up on the edge of the boat, Twilight then took one more look at her friends, they all smiled sadly at her as they were all nervous. Twilight stared at the water, Twilight was shaking with fear.
Twilight tried her best to calm herself down, she looked at the water with the mission on her mind, she was scared out of her mind, she knew that this was a deadly mission, she needed to make sure to stay alive. Finally she calmly took a big gulp of oxygen from the tank and held it in.
She then took one more look at the deep ocean and then without further delays she jumped right in, she started to swim towards the temple as fast as she could as she knew that she couldn't hold her breath for ever, she focused on her goal as she kicked her bare feet propelling herself downward.
Finally she made it and she swam inside it, she swam around in it till she found land, once she found land she broke the surface and looked around at the dark tunnel. She climbed out of the water and gasped as her bare feet touched the cold floor. She took off her oxygen tank and set it aside as she knew she will need it to get back to th boat once she found the artifact.
She took off her mask and set it down as well and then started to walk through the temple, the floor felt cold against her bare feet but she tried her best to ignore the feeling as she continued to walk through the temple. She turned on a small flashlight that she had on her suit and used it to illuminate some of the dark rooms that were there.
She needed to keep an eye out for sea creatures while she walked so that if she ran into them she could act quick in killing them but she knew that she had to use as little ammo as possible as she didn't have a lot of it. She looked at the ancient engravings on the walls as she that showed the ancient artifact while she walked by them. She knew there was history behind the artifact as she had already read about it.
She had to destroy the crystal before it could destroy Equestria, people were counting on her to save them and that was what she was going to do, she looked around the corners of each hallway to see if there were any sea monsters that were going to attack her and then proceeded to walk down those halls
Then she saw a small squid catching sight of her but she killed it, she put her handgun away and continued to walk. She needed to find the artifact but there was so many rooms that she wasn't sure if she could keep track of them. She killed more sea creatures on her way of the crystal.
She started to fear that the crystal wasn't there, if it wasn't there then she wouldn't be able to find it and that could spell trouble for Equestria if it was somewhere else that needed to be discovered. Twilight wondered how long it would take before the artifact could destroy Equestria, she hoped that she had the ability to find it.
As she walked around she looked at the strange engravings on the walls as they all told the history of Equestria, as she looked at the pictures she tried to piece the story together, she knew it was going to take a while she knew that it would be found.
As she translated the ancient language she discovered that it the crystal was made a millennia ago and that it had the power to destroy Equestria, it harnessed dark energy which is legal to use if it's in small amounts, Twilight knew that whoever made it hid it from the civilizations.
Twilight faced a threat greater than anything she has ever faced before, she had to find it, she looked all around as she killed more sea creatures while she kept moving through the temple, there wasn't a whole lot of them so that spared her some extra ammo that she didn't need, she was lucky there weren't to many sea creatures but she knew that the place was still dangerous as anything could pop out at her.
She knew that most of the equestrian sea monsters she was seeing are detailed in the Canterlot library. She needed to be as agile as she could or she would die in the next few hours, She knew they were right about it being dangerous but that didn't mean she lost hope as she felt that she was going to be successful. She continued to walk.
She saw a ledge and she knew that the crystal was up there so she stood up on her bare toes and jumped and then grabbed hold of the ledge and then she pulled herself up, she then continued to search the entire area while walking thrlugh the area as she killed more sea creatures. Finally she opened an ancient door and revealed an ancient hallway that looked very long.
She decided to take her time so that she wouldn't get tired, she made sure to keep in constant motion as she looked for the artifact, with the Intel that they gave her it said that the crystal was hidden in the third floor downward in the ancient cave so that's were she headed.
As she moved along she had to be careful and quiet as monsters strolled through the place, she was suddenly attacked by some, she gave a shriek of pain as she shot several of them. She needed to get a move on if she was ever going to make it to the ancient artifact and have a chance to destroy it for good.
She couldn't wait to get the mission over with, she was very nervous and scared but managed to hold it together as that was what her friends expected of her, she knew that she couldn't fail because if she did that then would mean her death which meant that other people would have to try or they would have to send her in again if she survived.
She hoped that she was getting close to it, she was scared out of her mind that she might die, that was when she saw it, she couldn't believe she found it, she hesitated as she wasn't sure what would happen if she took it, she hoped that it didn't set off a trap. She would hate if it was rigged.
She walked closer to the crystal, it was silver and it was the most powerful and dangerous relic in Equestria of all time. She needed to know how to destroy it, she looked through ancient books about the crystal but she couldn't see how it could be destroyed.
She sat down and looked through it, she finally discovered in the ancient text that the only way to destroy the dangerous artifact was to destroy it with a sword which was hidden somewhere.
She took the crystal and searched for the sword, she knew she needed to find it quick, she wanted to complete the mission and go back to her friends, she searched through corridor and hallway. Finally she was pleased to find the sword in a protective box.
She found out that in order to open the box she needed to offer a sacrifice as the inscription demanded to give it sacrifice of anything, Twilight thought that maybe she could use her own blood as a sacrifice, she took out her knife and slashed it against her arm, she winced and poured it into the opening of the box.
The box opened and the sword fell into her hands, she went back to the floor and then set the crystal down, she raised the sword and looked at it and the she brought it down and cut the crystal in half which destroyed it. She ran back to the entrance and quickly patched up her arm and put on her oxygen tank and then breathed it in and then jumped back into the water.
She swam with all her might as the temple blew up behind her, she was glad that Equestria was safe as she had destroyed the crystal, she broke through the surface and got back on the boat.
"It's destroyed." Twilight confirmed. Her friends cheered for Twilight, Celestia smiled as they were all relieved. Twilight hugged every one of her friends.
"You did wonderful darling!" Rarity exclaimed as she kissed her forehead, Twilight smiled and blushed.
"It was nothing, saving Equestria is what I do." Twilight said. Celestia smiled as she was so proud. They had saved Equestria, they sped away on the boat and Twilight got out of her wetsuit and dried herself off before she changed into clean clothes, she then celebrated her accomplishment with her friends and Celestia.
"If I find any more Intel about more crystals I'll send you to destroy them so I'll keep in touch." Celestia said. Twilight's friends nodded as they understood hat this wasn't over but at least for now they were safe.
Pinkie Pie stepped away from them and turned around while she sadly looked a picture of someone as she knew what they were about to find out about her and her connection to the crystal.
Meanwhile a strange creature who was laughing maniacally ran up to a dark kingdom, inside he walked up to a dark throne which turned around.
"My lord....I have bad news your dark highness." He said. The big dark monster turned around and spoke.
"Yes? what is the bad news?" He asked.
"A sacred dark crystal has been destroyed your majesty by someone of the name Twilight Sparkle! She-she-she sped off with her friends as they took the sword with them......" He said.
"Don't worry this is only a set back, I assume that the sword is now in the hands of this girl?" The dark lord asked the creature
"No the sword is now in the hands of your mother Pinkie Pie which is a friend of Twilight's, she was probably staying quiet about how you are her son! Would you like me to kill her?" He asked.
"No, my mother will die at my hands, she can't be the element of laughter forever, I will make my mother and the mane six suffer in revenge for what they have done!" He exclaimed.
"What will you do my dark lord?!" The maniacal creature asked the monster. The large creature spoke
"First I will create more dark crystals to harness all of the dark energy and use it to destroy Twilight's friends and my mother, Pinkie Diane Pie and there will no more Equestria!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" The monster laughed evilly. The creature giggled with him as they planned their attack.
Pinkie Pie was in her room knowing that she had to tell her friends the truth about the crystal so she went to Twilights. When she got to Twilight's place she knocked on Twilight's door and Twilight opened the door
"I need to tell you that I am the mother of the creature that had ownership of the crystal, I knew you aren't going to take this well but it's true, I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I have to confront him Twilight, Its the only way we can end this." Pinkie Pie told Twilight.
Twilight was shocked that Pinkie Pie was the mother of the monster that owns the crystals, she had no idea that her friend was the mother to this existing beast, she had no idea what to say, she tried to find the correct words and then spoke.
"Well you better confront him then Pinkie Pie, or else he might destroy Equestria." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie nodded and ran out of Twilight's place, she had to see his son and hopefully she could convince him to stop this madness, she quickly entered the caves of Equestria.
Meanwhile Twilight told her friends what Pinkie Pie told her. They were all shocked that she was the mother of the monster that owned the crystals, they didn't know what exactly the monster planned but they knew that Pinkie Pie was the only one that could end it.
Pinkie Pie needed to get to the kingdom of her son, she had to convince him to stop but she knew that might not work so she would probably have to kill him, when she got there the soldiers saw her and allowed her through.
She was led to the throne room of her son, she knew that she might have to fight him and she knew that it might be tough to beat him but she knew that she was the only one who could possibly defeat him. She came up to him and he turned his chair around to reveal himself, this was it, the showdown was on.
"Well look what the garbage brought in! Hello mother! How are your pathetic friends doing, are they worshiping you like fucking lap dogs! You are stupid for coming back here!" He spoke.
"Knock it off! Please go back to the way you were I loved you, I gave birth to you but you became corrupted with power! You need to stop this immediately!" Pinkie Pie said as she pleaded with him.
The monster laughed as he thought his mother was pathetic, he wasn't going to go back to his mother and become good no matter what his mom said, he glared at her.
"You dare tell me to do something!? I am the king of darkness, you are a worthless cow! No wonder why daddy left you! I have more power than anybody alive and I will crush you and your friends and nobody will stop me!" He exclaimed, Pinkie Pie had tears streaming down her cheeks as her son didn't listen to her.
She knew that the only way to stop him from collecting the crystals was to destroy him, she took out her sword and prepared an attack stance.
"If you won't listen to me then I will have to kill you, this is going to be tough for me, you must listen to me! Please stop this! I don't want to fight you! I love you so much even though you are terrorizing Equestria. Please stop this immediately!" Pinkie Pie pleased.
He took out his sword and without further delay he and Pinkie Pie started to fight, Pinkie Pie knew she had to possibly kill him unless he would listen to her saying his name.
"I can't listen to you for I am the dark lord!" He said. Pinkie Pie knew that while she was fighting him she had to say his name to stop him and make him realize that being evil wasn't good, Pinkie Pie wished she had brought her friends along but knew that that would be to dangerous. They continued to fight
Her and the dark lord fought eachother, Pinkie Pie cried as she knew that the only way to stop him was to say his real name, she just had to say his real name, she breathed in and spoke. They kept fighting
"Please Nicholas, I miss you." She said. Nicholas stopped fighting her and stared at her in shock, Pinkie Pie looked at her son with tearful eyes as she used his name. He got angrier and doubled up his attack on her but she keeps blocking and dodging the attacks
"That is not my name! I don't miss you!!" Nicholas yelled. Pinkie Pie frowned and spoke softly. She didn't want to keep fighting him but she continued anyway as there wasn't much choice as he was attacking her. They fought alone inside his palace
"Yes that is your name, your name is Nicholas Pie and you are my son! Cheese Sandwich is your father! We both miss you, I haven't seen your father in a long time as he left along time ago due to you turning into a heartless monster, I should have never went into that cave when you were younger it made you into what you are today. You let hate transform you but I know that's not the real you! Please I am your mother and I love you so much!" Pinkie Pie said as she cried.
Nicholas Pie was shocked at what she said, he tried to deny that that was his name but he knew that he couldn't, he realized how torn up his mother must be, he didn't want to kill his own birth mother either, he realized that her birth mother was happy as she was Ponyville's party planner but was sad that she didn't have him.
He tried to continue fighting her but he didn't have the heart, she was growing hopeful that he would stop as she noticed him slow down, as they fought Nicolas stopped fighting her.
As he thought about his plan to destroy Equestria he realized that he didn't have to do that, he could go home to a mother that loved him, he dropped his sword and slowly he started to shrink down. Soon he was at Pinkie Pie's height and became human again as he reverted to the way he looked before he was evil. They both looked at eachother, all of a sudden Pinkie Pie hugged her son and her son hugged her back
Pinkie Pie's friends ran in as they noticed them fighting before, Twilight's jaw dropped and they almost passed out, they were happy that he was a good person again.
"Are those your friends?" He asked, Pinkie Pie smiled and nodded and Nicholas stopped hugging her and Pinkie Pie nodded at her friends that it was okay. They began to talk to eachother. Later on when they were back home Pinkie Pie's friends got every detail on why her son became evil.
"I'm glad your back to being good, I'm so sorry you two had to go through that!" Twilight said, Celestia smiled and nodded in agreement.
"We are all glad that you have been reformed by your mothers love." She said. Pinkie Pie and Nicholas giggled and hugged and they all lived happily ever after
