Hillgrove Secondary School, class S3-5, 2nd January 2015
"Good Morning, students, I am Mrs Ng and I will be your form teacher for this year." Mrs Ng said.
"I would like each student to introdue themselves by stating, your name, your previous school and what you like the most." Mrs Ng said.
The class has 23 students. Each student starting introducing themselves.
"I am Rachel, I am from Dunearn Primary School and I like to read comics." A girl with dark hair and wearing a pair of spectacles said.
"I am Raynen, I am from Dunearn Primary School and I like to read books." A boy with short hair and also wearing a pair of spetacles said.
"I am Twilight, I am from Unity Primary School and I like to watch My Little Pony (MLP)." A short girl with purple and pink and blue stripes hair said.
"I am Sparky, I am from Unity Primary School and I like to watch MLP too." A short boy with green hair said.
One of the students disrupted the introductions by saying, "You two watch MLP, that's a kid show. It's not meant for teenagers like us."
Everybody in the class went silence at that student's statement.
Mrs Ng, taken aback by that statement, said "I do not think we should judge people on what they like. We should respect what others like and it is rude to comment on what they like."
"Now, let's continue with the introductions, shall we?"
The introduction session gained back momentum after that. Soon, everyone was done with the introductions.
"Thank You everybody for introducing yourself. I shall now give you a general descriptions of what is to come." Mrs Ng said.
"Next Year, you will be taking your GCE 'O' Level Examinations. You guys are taking Pure or Full History course. I expect you guys to score high as you guys are the first Pure Humanities class in this school. Whatever you guys do, it will have some impact on your juniors." Mrs Ng said.
Soon, another teacher appeared in front of the classroom. That teacher was the class' history teacher. She is Mdm Khoo.
"Your next teacher has come, I have high hopes for this class, do not let me down. Ok, that's all. Thank you, class."
"Thank you, Mrs Ng and have a nice day." The students replied monotonously.
After that, the lesson went on as usual.
After School
"Alright, class, remember to do the worksheet given and hand it in tomorrow. Thank You, class." Mr Lim said.
"Thank you Mr Lim and have a nice day." The students replied monotonously.
As students started to leave the classroom, Sparky walk towards Twilight and asked timidly, "Hi, Twilight, I heard you watch MLP. Is it true? That is if you want to tell me that is."
"Of course it is true. I mean I have a collection of ponies plushy at home. Heck, I am going to a store to buy a pony figurine to celebrate the first day of Secondary 3." Twilight said.
"Can I come with you? If you want me that is." Sparky replied timidly.
"Of course! I never expect to find another MLP fan in this class." Twilight said excitedly.
"Oh. Me too." Sparky replied.
"Have you watch MLP season 5 episode 26? That ending was very epic!"
"Oh yes, I like how starlight almost destroyed evrything. Especially the war between Sombra and Celestia's forces."
"Me too. It reminded me of world war 1 and 2. I like how the pegasus dived to engage Sombra's forces. Thought I question if that is the right battle maneuver. But that again, it is a kids show, so nothing make sense."
Both started to talk about random MLP stuff until they reached the store.
"Oh, that was fast, we reached here." Twilight said.
"Yeah. Which figurine are you going to buy anyway? If you want to tell me that is." Sparky said.
"I think I pick Derpy and that changeling figurine." Twilight said, pointing at the two figurines.
"Why? I thought you wanted to buy one only?" Sparky asked.
"I wanted to buy the changeling figurine for you as a symbol of our friendship." Twilight said.
Sparky blushed. He tried saying something but couldn't.
Twilight headed to the counter and bought the two figurines. She then told Sparky to follow her home. She has something to show him there. Sparky followed her home without a second thought.
Twilight's home
"Wow, it is so spacious. I never thought I could see so many MLP books in one place like ever." Sparky commented.
"Thanks?" Twilight replied she went to get a book.
"This book is the legends of alicorns. I bought it a while ago. I never got to read it though." Twilight said hold the book.
"Really? Let's see what is the legend then." Sparky said.
Chapter 1:
Legend has it that that two alicorns ruled all magical ponies on Equestria. That included the unicorns and pegasus. During a great war between unicorns and Pegasus, these two alicorns fled to earth to seek shelter from the war. However, to protect their identities, they disguised as normal ponies. No one knew which were the alicorns, not even when the great war ended. It was said that these two alicorns returned to Equestria at some point of time. When the two alicorns returned to Equestria, they told the ponies they ruled over that they had learned a lot on their time in earth. They said that should they ever have a child, they would sent it to earth to learn things.
Chapter 2:
It wasn't long till they got a child. Surprisingly, both were born by different mothers. Both ponies was soon raised up and sent to earth. No body knows where these ponies are. Both ponies was trapped in a ponies' figurines body when they make first contact on earth. It was said that only people who is goodhearted and believed in magic and followed a spell will free these ponies.
The spell was as follows:
To free ponies from their prisons, The figurines must be in contact with both the moon and the sun (which is around evening) and that they must be in a position where no one could see them and the figurines. Finally, they must say this spell under the conditions stated above .
Twinkling star, Twinkling Star,
Twinkling high above the world so far,
Shining bright, Shining light,
Will you grant my wish tonight?
Let these alicorns be free of their toy prison
and be at last an alicorn
"I think maybe our toy figurines is the trapped alicorns."Twilight said.
"Me too. I have the feeling that these figurines are the trapped alicorns." Sparky said.
"Let us try this experiment later in the evening and see how that goes." Twilight said, beaming with excitement.
"Agreed." Sparky said.
They started to bring their figurines around as they look for a place where no one could see.
However, It was pretty hard as the they live in an urban area. There is bound to be people who would see the transformation.
Twilight and Sparky was starting to panic. It was soon going to be evening and they still have not found a great spot.
"I know where we could do it, in the school." Twilight said.
"Why of all places do you pick the school? Celestia's knows who could be there at this hour." Sparky questioned.
"Lessons should end by now and teachers should be going home by now. Except security guards, the school should be pretty empty." Twilight reasoned.
"I suppose so. Let's go there right now." Sparky said.
Hillgrove Secondary School
There were several students teachers who were heading home. As Twilight entered the school front gate, she whispered something to Sparky,"Looks like there is no one here. We need to move quickly."
"Agreed." Sparky replied.
Sparky and Twilight move inside a empty classroom on the first floor. They started to move the tables and chairs to the side of the classroom. Some of the tables were flipped and was place above some tables. By doing so, they have increase the space in the classroom for the spell.
As evening sets in, Twilight took out the figurines and place them on the center of the classroom.
Twilight and Sparky started to move a distance away from the figurines before saying the spell together.
Twinkling star, Twinkling Star,
Twinkling high above the world so far,

After saying the spell together, Sparky and Twilight looked curiously at the figurines. As Twilight was about to say something, something magical happened.
The figurines glowed bright golden and blue for Derpy and Rainy respectively. Soon, a magical explosion was heard and two ponies emerged from it.
Both ponies took a moment to process what just happened before Derpy asked, "Did it work?"
"I think so." replied Rainy as he started to walk in circles with his hooves.
"Hello?" Twilight asked, as she and Sparky started to walk into the classroom to see two ponies.
Derpy has a grey coloured body (along with wings and horn) and a flowing golden mane and tail, whereas Rainy has black coloured body and horn, a blue coloured wings and a flowing blue mane and a flowing black tail.
Derpy and Rainy stop whatever they were doing and looked at Twilight and Sparky.
"Oh, you must be the person who said the turning spell." Rainy said as Derpy ran towards Sparky and Twilight and used her wings to hug Sparky and Twilight.
"How d-?" Twilight was about to ask something before being drag into Derpy's wings.
"Erm, can't breath." Sparky said, almost choking at Derpy's hug.
"Sorry." Derpy said as she released Sparky and Twilight from her hug.
"Thanks for releasing us from that spell." Rainy said, slowly moving towards Twilight's position.
"You are welcome?" Sparky replied timidly while Derpy looked outside to if anyone's outside.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce ourselves. I am Rainy Shimmer but you can call me rain or Rainy both are fine and that is Ditzy Doo or else better known as Derpy Hooves." Rainy said, while pointing to the respective ponies.
"I am Twilight Sparkle and this is Sparky." Twilight said, pointing to Sparky.
"Come on guys, the coast is clear." Derpy said while using her rear hooves to motion them to move forward.
"Why do you need a clear coast?" Twilight asked, while moving to Derpy's position.
"Because no one must know that we exists." Derpy replied simply.
"Why?"
"Because we are alicorns, Twilight. We have magical powers that other people may use us for their evil doings." Rainy replied.
"Oh."
"That reminds me. We were suppose to give you this too." Derpy said, holding a piece of paper.
"What's this?"
"That is the undoing spell. It is used to turn us back into toys." Derpy replied.
Undoing spell:
Twilight Star,Twilight Star,
Twinkling high above the world so far,
Protect this secret from prying eyes,
And return my alicorns to thier disguise
Their magical shape is for our eyes only,
Let them return to their sleeping state
"Why would you want to be turned back into toys?"
"It is to not blow our cover. Though we could still talk to each other while in our toy form, I will not risk it." Derpy stated before lying down on the concrete floor.
"Look, we are magical ponies at least 1.5 meters high but even that is not how tall we really are. Let me not get started on length and width. We are pretty visible, however in toy form, we are smaller, reducing the chances we get spotted."
It took a while before Sparky and Twilight to process this information.
"Wait, you mention this is not how tall you ponies really are, so how big are yall." Sparky asked curiously.
"You really want to know?" Rainy asked.
"Yes?" Sparky and Twilight replied.
Derpy and Rainy stared at each other with worried faces before moving to a more open area and erupting in a circle of golden flame and blue flame respectively.
Derpy and Rainy looked so much bigger than what they were just now. "Whoa." Twilight said.
Derpy and Rainy are approximately equal sized. Both stood at around two stories tall (including their horn).
"How are you ponies so big?" Twilight asked.
"It is sort of thanks to our parents. They are very tall and I think they passed those traits to us." Derpy replied.
"Who are your parents?" Sparky asked, intrigued by this new development.
"My parents are Luna and Sombra while Derpy's parents are Discord and Celestia." Rainy replied.
"What?!" Twilight and Sparky yelled out loudly.
