Three Friends are on a nightly stroll through town, and a wind begins to pick up, seems normal right. Right?

A couple of friends take a stroll through town, when a slight wind picks up, usually meaning a storm is about to roll in. Well for our (not so) brave group of friends, it gets... strange to say the least... especially after that portal... oops I've said too much... don't want to spoil it.
