A week later: The ponies were all in Twilight's castle, because it was heart's warming eve, the tradition that the ponies stay overnight was around for as long as Twilight could remember, Twilight was preparing for when her friends and family came over.

Applejack brought warm apple cider for them to get drunk on.

"This is so awesome" Thunder Dash said, to his mother.

Stephen was still grounded for what he said, to John at the Grand Galloping Gala, so that's why he wasn't invited to join the heart's warming eve party.

But Jane and William were invited to the party, but John had to stay with Stephen, because he needs around the clock care.

"Mom why couldn't Stephen come to the party?" AppleScript asked.

"Ya know why he ain't here" Applejack replied.

"Yeah" AppleScript said, with a sigh.

"Let's get this party started" Cumulus said, to Scootaloo.

"Yeah let's go" Scootaloo yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Now we're rolling" William said, to Scootaloo.

"Yeah, so awesome" Prism said, to William.

"You can understand me?" William asked.

"Yeah, I can, why do you ask?, me and my family have always been able to understand you" Prism said, to William.

"Ok, but my speech is slurred, so how is it possible that you can understand me?"

William asked with a raised eyebrow. "We once had a visit from a very close friend of my mom's, who's speech was also slurred, his name was Lucas, but his brother is married to Cumulus" Prism said, to William.

William looked at Nick with a question mark in his eyes.

It's long story, no time" Nick said, to William.

"Ok" William said, to Nick.

"Hey Nick I thought you're grammar was getting better" Rainbow said, to Nick.

"Mom don't bother, I already told him that his grammar is important, so he should keep it under control" Cumulus said, to her mother.

"Ok if you say so" Rainbow said, to Cumulus.

"Is good thing we remember bring presents" Nick said, to Rainbow.

"You said it uncle Nick" Sweetie Belle said, with a smile.

"Who want listen Christmas music?" Nick asked with a smile.

"Oh yeah now we're really rolling" William said, excitedly.

"William remember what your dad told you" Rainbow said, to William.

"Yeah I remember what he told me, and I'll try to be on my best behavior" William said, to Rainbow.

"Ok, great, we're going to have lots of fun" Rainbow said, to William.

When William gets excited about something, he can't control his movements, so it gets very difficult for him to talk, one must be very patient with him, one might ask him to repeat what he is saying.

"We should go to Stephen's house to cheer him up a bit" Lightning said, to her brother.

"Ok awesome let's go, and we can sing Christmas songs on the way" Thunder said, with a grin.

"Come on, let's go" Cinnamon stick said, to his twin sister. Cinnamon roll did as she was told.

Once outside: it was snowing.

"This is so awesome" Lightning said, to her brother who was standing there with his mouth open. Thunder just nodded at his sister.

"Come on y'all, we don't want to be late for the party" Cinnamon roll said, to her friends. "But I thought we were having the party at aunt Twilight's castle" Cinnamon stick said, to his sister. "We are, but first we need to go to Stephen's house to cheer him up" Cinnamon roll said, with a smile. "Then what are we waiting around here for?, let's go" Lightning Dash said, to Cinnamon roll. "Oh yeah now we're talkin', look out Stephen here we come" Thunder Dash yelled at the top of his lungs as he started running. "Come on, let's go" Cinnamon stick yelled as he took off after Thunder and Lightning Dash. They were headed to the other side of town, because that's where Stephen and John live, they have lived there for almost a year now.

Once on the other side of town:
Lightning came to a stop in front of a white house that had a door with Christmas lights around the doorframe.

"We're here" Cinnamon stick said, with a grin.

Cinnamon roll knocked on the door.

"John it's Cinnamon roll, Cinnamon stick, Lightning and Thunder Dash" Lightning said, from outside the door.

"It's always open" John said, from inside the house.

The 4 friends stepped inside the house. Once they were inside, John closed the door.

The inside of the house was decorated with various Christmas decorations.

John was wearing a shirt with a picture of a Christmas tree on it.

"John what the hell are you wearing" Cinnamon stick said, with a smirk.

"This is my Christmas sweater" Johnn said, with a smile.

"I assume you're here to see Stephen" John said, with a smile.

"Yeah that's what we're here for" Cinnamon stick said, with a nervous glance at the clock.

"Right this way please" John said, to the ponies.

John led the ponies through a long hallway, that was also decorated for Christmas, and then John stopped in front of a large wooden door. "Well, here we are" John said, with a grin.

Then he knocked on Stephen's bedroom door.

"Oh Stephen your friends are here" John said, to Stephen from outside the door.

When there came no answer John opened the door. Stephen was laying on his bed, his communication device was hanging above him, whenever Stephen lays in bed, he uses a communication device called the tobii eye gaze, tobii eye gaze is a communication device that allows the user to talk with their eyes, the tobii eye gaze is for people with ALS or severe CP.

"Hi Stephen, how ya doin'?" Cinnamon roll asked.

"I'm not doing ok, I'm still mad at John" Stephen said, to Cinnamon roll.

"Oh sugarcube, ya shouldn't be mad at John, he's just tryin' to help ya" Cinnamon roll said, to Stephen as she walked over to his bed.

"I don't care" Stephen said, to Cinnamon roll.

Lightning Dash facehoofed. "Stephen just listen to yourself, this is going nowhere" Lightning scolded.

"WOW really, I don't give a damn" Stephen said, with a frown.

"Let me tell ya somethin' Stephen, if ya don't behave, ya can't come to the party later" Cinnamon roll said, in a stern voice.

"Fine, I'll try to be on my best behavior" Stephen said, to Cinnamon roll.

"Good sugar, I'm glad ya have chosen not to be at home alone on heart's warmin' eve" Cinnamon roll said, to Stephen.

"Come on, let's go to auntie Twilight's castle" Cinnamon stick said, with a smile.

"Oh yeah, now we're rocking and rolling" Thunder said, putting his arm around Stephen.

"Thunder I would like it if you not do that" Stephen said, to Thunder.

"Your whining is going to get you nowhere, you're going to get a hug, whether you like it or not" Thunder said, in a stern voice.

Before Stephen could reply, Thunder continued talking. "And what's more, you should start acting your age, and stop acting like a teenager"

John's jaw dropped at what he had heard.

"Who are you to tell me that I should start acting my age" Stephen said, to Thunder Dash.

"Hey Stephen that's no way to talk to my brother" Lightning Dash said, to Stephen.

"Lightning is right ya know, maybe ya should say you're sorry to Thunder Dash" Cinnamon roll said, to Stephen in a stern voice.

"No I won't, say I'm sorry, he deserved that" Stephen said, to Cinnamon roll.

"Do you still love Jane?" Cinnamon stick asked.

By now Stephen's face was as red as blood.

"How dare you ask me if I still love Jane" Stephen said, to Cinnamon stick.

"Chill dude, I was just asking" Cinnamon stick said, to Stephen.

"Fine I will tell you, but you have to promise never to talk to anybody else about this, do you understand?" Stephen said, to Cinnamon stick.

"Yes I understand, and I'll never talk to anyone else about this" Cinnamon stick said, to Stephen.

"Very good, Cinnamon stick" Stephen said, with a smile.

"No, I no longer love Jane, and here's the reason why, a week ago at the Grand Galloping Gala she showed up uninvited we got into an argument, and then she left, and I've not seen her since" Stephen said, to Cinnamon stick.

"Whoa, it sounds like you really hate her" Cinnamon stick said, to Stephen.

"You have no idea how much I hate her, I just want to hurt her feelings just as she hurt mine" Stephen grimaced.

"Whoa, calm down sugarcube" Cinnamon roll said, in a calm voice.

"Yeah dude, you need to chill out" Lightning added.

"I so totally agree" John said, to Stephen.

"Come on y'all this is a waste of time, are ya comin' to the party or not?" Cinnamon roll asked.

"No he's not" John said, to Cinnamon roll.

"What the hell" Stephen yelled.

"Stephen you are still grounded, that's why you can't go to the party tonight" John said, in a stern voice.

After saying their goodbyes to Stephen and John, the friends were walking out the door, it was still snowing outside. "What a nice day we've had so far" Cinnamon stick said, to his friends as they were walking.

Cinnamon roll nodded in agreement.

"But it's going to get even more awesome" Thunder said, to his sister.

"Yeah, tonight is going to be so awesome" Lightning said, to her friends.

They were walking distance from Twilight's castle.

Twilight went to greet her nieces and nephews as they were coming towards the castle.

"You came just on time, but where are Stephen and john?" Twilight asked with a smile.

"They ain't comin' now" Cinnamon roll said, to her aunt.

"What, why not?" Twilight asked.

"Because John said that Stephen was still grounded, that's why he's not coming to the party" Cinnamon stick said, to his aunt.

Twilight let out a sigh of exasperation, then she led her nieces and nephews into the castle, the castle was decorated with various Heart's warming decorations, a Christmas tree stood in the middle of the throne room.

"WOW, did aunt Pinkie do all this?" Cinnamon stick asked.

"Ya got it, sugar" Applejack said, to her son.

"So awesome" Thunder said, under his breath.

"You said it bro" Lightning said, to her brother.

"Hey guys, come on let's get this party started" Prism said, with a smile at her sister and brother.

"Yeah let's do this" Lightning said, with a grin at Prism.

"Let's rock and roll" Scootaloo yelled at the top of her lungs.

Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle rolled their eyes. Scootaloo took notice of that and smirked.

"Come on Scoot, we didn't mean it" Sweetie Belle said, to her friend.

"Yeah I know, you didn't mean it" Scootaloo replied with a smile.

"Come here y'all" Apple Bloom said, to her friends as she embraced them.

Loud Christmas dance music was blasting throughout the castle.

Cumulus was dancing with Nick, and Nick was dancing with Cumulus.

"It's too bad that John didn't let Stephen go to this awesome party" Thunder said, to his sister.

"Yeah it's really too bad, oh well I guess that's just a way of life" Lightning said, to her brother. Thunder nodded in agreement.

Meanwhile:
"John you really hurt my feelings by telling me I couldn't go to that party" Stephen said, when he was back in his wheelchair.

Then there was a knock on the door, John went to see who it was, when he opened the door, there stood Stephen's ex-wife Jane.

"What are you doing here?, he doesn't want to see you" John said, before Jane could say a word.

And then John slammed the door in Jane's face.

"What was that all about?" Stephen asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing" John replied coldly.

John didn't want to admit that it was Jane that was at the door, because if Stephen ever found out about this, that would be the end of Stephen Hawking.

"Who was it, was it Jane at the door?" Stephen asked.

"Yeah, so what" John said, coldly. "So it was Jane, why didn't you tell me?" Stephen asked.

"I'm sorry, but I was afraid that if you found out about this, you would flip out" John said, to Stephen.

"John I need to go to the bathroom" William called from his room.

"I'm coming" John replied.

William is living with his father now, because his mother couldn't take care of him, it was too much for Jane to handle. After John had taken William to the bathroom, and put him back in his wheelchair, John went back in to the living room to hang up the last Christmas ornaments.

"Well here we are, all together as a family" John said, to Stephen.

Stephen smiled as William came in to the living room.
