Sorry if this was Iron Bull crep. I'm trying to improve my writing so I made this story. I want feedback so please tell me what you think. Also maybe I'll make chapter 2?

Adrien stared at the invitation blankly, not sure how to feel about it. He wasn't sure if he should go or not. Part of him didn't want to feel regret for losing the best thing in his life. The other wanted to show Fluttershy that he accepts her decision to move on. Even if he really couldn't.
He sighed and went back into his house to lay down on his bed. It was the 8th of June, which should give him enough time to get a tux and a wedding gift. That is, if he decided to go. Fluttershy's friends didn't beat him down with their words too badly. They know what he had done, and why.
He's a singer, and he was always moving from place to place to get noticed by a big producer. He wasn't mad that she left him, he understood why she did it. He wasn't there for her as often, and she wanted more. She wanted someone's company to enjoy. And he couldn't offer that yet.
But it didn't change how much he cared for her. That's why they kept in touch. That's why "this" didnt surprise him. He's know about this other guy for a while. But he was hoping maybe he'd get on more chance to make it right...
Adrien thought to himself as his eyelids grew heavy, "Maybe I'll write a song for this..."
As he swam deeper into his thoughts, he began to sink into sleep.
Saturday 17, 11:00pm
The fresh morning air still lingered as Adrien walked outside with the rest of the best men. Apparently, Fluttershy still considered him a friend. So much, in fact, that he was her best man? Adrien tried to shake the confusing thought from his mind. He walked with the rest of the guys to the church, to have Rarity and Rainbow Dash come up to him.
Rarity smiles as she speaks to Adrien with her accent, "Darling, you look exquisite in that tux! Where ever did you get it?"
Adrien looks at her and says in an almost monotone voice, "It's a rental."
Her smile is instantly replaced by a frown, "Oh."
Rainbow Dash who's watching this exchange greeting sighs and says to Adrien, "Fluttershy wanted to see you before the wedding. Follow us."
As he follows them to a room somewhere inside the church, he notices the dresses were all made by a professional, which was most likely Rarity. They enter the room, and inside, Fluttershy is looking at herself in the mirror, checking to make sure the dress is okay. She turns around and goes to hug him. The Rarity and Rainbow sense that they want to be alone and leave.
Fluttershy says to Adrien, "Hey Adrien! It's been too long!"
Adrien says in his mind "about 3 years", but he smiles and returns the hug, "Yeah too long."
Fluttershy pulls away and smiles, "So, what do you think?" She does a small twirl in the dress, her flowing hair moving along with the white dress, the flower crown adding a bit of elegance with the dress.
Adrien answers quickly without thinking "Beautiful"
Fluttershy blushes, understanding what he meant, but tries not to make a scene "Yeah, the dress is quite beautiful. Rarity made it. It took her 3 days. She said she want it to be "exquisite!"" She says this as she puts her hoof up in the air, acting out Rarity's drama pose. She smiles again and looks at Adrien. "Oh! Btw!"
Adrien looks at Fluttershy questioningly, "Hmmm?"
Fluttershy looks at him sincerely, "Do you mind doing me a favor? Can you sing in the after party? We're leaving for our honeymoon tonight, and we wanted things to go right for our guests. But the band we hired called in a few hours ago and they're gonna arrive a bit late, so I was wondering if you could fill in till they arrive?"
Adrien thinks about this for a moment, "Sure, but I have to leave after. I got noticed by some big music people in Manehattan and I can't stay here long. I can probably sing one song and then I gotta split."
Fluttershy smiles softly and says, "Thank you so much! I knew I can count on you! And I'm so glad you got noticed! I know your gonna make it big!"
Adrien smiles back and tells her, "Yeah, Ima need to get some things ready for the after party, so I'll see you later." He turns and heads for the door.
Fluttershy turns back to the mirror, "Okay, oh and Adrien?"
Adrien turns back and looks at her, "Yeah?"
Fluttershy smiles at him through the mirror and says, "I'm glad you can be here."
Adrien smiles and walks away and says something softly that Fluttershy quite can't understand.
About two hours later, Adrien has set up some things in the community center that he found lying around. The after party was gonna be here after the wedding. He starts to walk outside and looks up at the stage. He tries to picture himself up there in two hours, but couldn't. He turns and heads back to church.
Adrien arrives thirty five minutes before the wedding starts. He sees a lot of people came, even the animals she takes care of. He's then told by some wedding planner to stay where he is until the wedding starts, that he's gonna have to walk with one of the brides maids. He sees Twilight Sparkle and walks up to her.
Twilight smiles at him and says, "Hey Adrien, how are you?" After the break up, Adrien sometimes went to Twilight for books on playing musical instruments, and they talk a bit. She sorta was his therapist. Twilight even went to set up a therapy office in her castle. But he suspected that she was also helping Fluttershy cope with the break up as well. Without proof, there was no way to make sure.
Adrien smiles and tells her, "I'm alright. It's good to see your doing okay. Didn't your new book come out? What was it called again? "A Magic Sparkle"? I heard it was really good."
Twilight sighs and facehoofs. "I wanted the book to be called "A Sparkle of Magic", but the book company sent it back and told me that it has to be "A Magic Sparkle" or else it wouldn't sell. It sounds more of a kids book now. Anyways, enough about me. Anything new?" She leans in closely, "Are the nightmares still happening?"
He sighs and rubs the back of his head with his hoof. "Yeah, they are. Princess Luna sometimes visits me on those nights. She's been helping me with them and I need to thank her for it. She's busy and sometimes she can't help me." He looks down and sighs again.
Twilight moves a bit closer and is about to say something to him when the wedding planner tells them to pair up with the other. In front of Adrien, Rarity is paired up with Fluttershy's brother, who he heard became a famous hair stylist. Behind him, Pinkie Pie is paired with Gummy, her pet/roommate. He doesn't question why, because it's Pinkie Pie. The doors close behind the groomsmen and the bridesmaids, probably to make it more dramatic when the wife to be comes through
As Adrien reaches the stairs, Pinkie Pie hands him Gummy and says, "You better take care of him or else! I'm watching you...Always watching..." She gets uncomfortably close, her eye close to his and she slowly slides away. Adrien sighs and goes up the steps to the spot he was assigned to stand, when he hears the door open and he turns around.
He waits at the top, looking down the aisle. Fluttershy comes from behind the doors, walking towards him, smiling her warm gentle smile. He smiles back, slowly it turning into a serious face as he comes back to reality. She walks up to her soon to be husband, as he stands across from her. He sighs softly and smiles softly.
Adrien thinks to himself, "She deserves to be happy. She deserves to be with someone who she can hold everyday and not someone who's out on the road...but I can't help feeling jealous.."
That's when he hears the words that make his stomach churn.
"I do."
About 45 minutes later
During the after party, Adrien gets up on the stage to get ready to sing, and he takes a notice to the people sitting down by the tables. Her parents, her friend's, and her husband. He sighs softly, smiling as with this song, he can finally let go of his feelings for Fluttershy. Using his magic, he begins to lift up the drumsticks. He places his hoofs on the piano in front of him, the mic close to his muzzle.
"Yeah. Man, this is the softest thing I ever wrote...
But... it's about something that's pretty important to me..."
Adrien then begins to play the song he's been working on since the week before.
A few minutes later, Adrien finishes the song, gets up and leaves the room. Every just sits back in shock, the words that Adrien sung moved their hearts. They're so shocked, they don't even care that the band that was suppose to arrive earlier set up their things. The band discuss on what song to play and quickly decide on "The Funeral" by Band of Horses.
As they start playing, Fluttershy gets a flash back and suddenly realizes what Adrien had said earlier back after she put the dress on, and runs outside to catch up with Adrien. Her husband snaps out of it and begins to follow her, worried.
The music still plays as Fluttershy opens the door to an outside garden, a flash of light momentarily blinds her and she assumes Adrien had left to the train station. She stops to debate whether it's a good idea to go after him.
Her husband comes to her aid and sees her in distraught. He goes to her and persuades her to come back inside. She takes another look around, sighs, and goes back with her new husband, giving him a soft smile.
In the forest of trees just a few feet from the garden, Adrien and a mysterious pony wearing shades who may or may not be his new music manager watch as she heads back inside.
The Music Manager looks at him, a bit concerned, "You sure you wanna end it like this? She was your dream girl"
Adrien continues to look at the spot where she stood, nods and smiles, "Yeah, she deserves to be happy. And she's happy with him. I've been so selfish of my needs I forgot about hers. It's time she gets what she wants."
The Music Manager scratches the back of his head, and says uncertainly "Alright. Well, we should go to the train before it leaves."
Adrien smiles and nods.
They both turn and walk off into the woods as the music intensifies, the screen turning black.
