I: The Nightmare Blessing
Prologue
Twilight Sparkle and her friends rushed into the Castle of the Two Sisters. Twilight used her magic to create the 'spark' for the elements but it has not worked. She got teleported to a different room and lost the elements.
"The elements! Where are they!?" She gasped.
There was a loud cackle. Twilight turned her head, only to see Nightmare Moon.
"You! Give me back the elements!" Twilight demanded.
"Never! The night shall last forever!!!" Nightmare laughed.
She raised her front hooves up, then slammed them down. The elements shattered into several pieces, leaving a shocked Twilight.
"See!? You could have never defeated me!"
"Hang on there Twi, we're uh comin'." A voice called out.
A spark came to her eyes. She looked back, and saw her friends coming. "You really think you can destroy the elements just like that? Well you're wrong!" Twilight announced.
She started naming her friends, and their elements. Nightmare didn't listen though. She was too busy figuring out what to do now.
There was a blast of rainbow coming towards her. She did the one thing that came to mind; take the elements off of them.
She did just that, and succeeded. The ponies all fell down, and sat shivering to a very angry alicorn.
"Who dares to try to defeat me? The true diarch of Equestria?! You will pay for all this, fillies! Mostly you."
Twilight slouched down and muttered something.
"What was that?!" She growled.
"Nothing!"
Nightmare Moon smirked. "Hm, I know just how to make you pay. Twilight Sparkle, you will become my servant and must answer to me."
"What?!" Everypony gasped.
"If she's going, we are too!" Rainbow flew up to her and shouted.
"It seems a good punishment for the rest of you is to be away from your precious friend." She laughed, holding Twilight in her magic and teleporting to the Canterlot Castle.
"Why?! Just why?!" Twilight shouted.
"Because. Now, go to sleep." Nightmare Moon commanded, putting a sleep spell on her.
"You have no idea what will happen, Twilight." She said after she fell asleep.
Chapter One - Corruptions
Twilight's friends walked past her. They ignored her.
"Good thing Twilight was taken by Nightmare Moon!" Pinkie Pie laughed.
"Yeah. That pony was so weak. She might as well just join her. Then she would be 20% cooler." Rainbow Dash agreed.
"Guys, I'm your friend!! Why are you saying that!?" Twilight asked.
"Oh darling! We were never your friend! You might as well join Nightmare Moon! She could give you the power to make us love you! Friendship is what you want now isn't it?" Rarity sneered, before they all disappeared.
"Ahhh!" Twilight shouted, waking up.
"Well, you're finally awake." A voice said.
"Rainbow Dash! Girls!" She shouted, hugging Dash.
"Woah Twi. What are you doing? I'm not your friend!"
"What?"
"None of us liked you." She said, the rest of her friends nodding.
Twilight shot beams of magic at them, crying. They ran laughing.
"Twilight are you alright?" Nightmare called out, sounding motherly for once.
"No....." She sobbed.
"Did they hurt you?"
"Yes."
"What if I could give you power to make them love you? Make them bow to your will?" She asked, her horn glowing, making Twilight's irises turn dark blue like her magic.
"I.... I.... Can you do that?" She finally managed out.
"Yes, I can."
".... Will you do it? What do I have to do?"
"Do you wish to destroy them?"
"Yes!"
"Very well than."
Nightmare's magic glowed brighter. Twilight lifted up in her magic. Nightmare brought her mouth closer, revealing a pair of razor sharp fangs.
She licked Twilight's neck, giving her a shiver through Twilight's spine. Nightmare got closer and closer, until she stuck her fangs into Twilight's neck unexpectedly.
Twilight moaned out of pain. All of her blood was flowing freely into Nightmare's mouth. When she was about to die, Nightmare finally released her fangs.
Twilight fell to the floor. Nightmare licked her fangs, and then Twilight's wounds.
"H.....he.....help m....me." Twilight struggled to keep her eyes from closing, just barely staying alive.
"Aw, poor Twily. Are you alright?" Nightmare said in a mocking tone.
"P....pl.....please......"
"Oh fine, miss 'I don't realize I'm being corrupted'."
She stuck her fangs into her own hoof. A black liquid came out.
"Drink it." Nightmare ordered.
Twilight managed to crawl to the bloody hoof. She licked it, then fell back down.
"You have to drink more."
Twilight sighed, then drank more. She collapsed and fell asleep.
"Too easy.... Next will be her friends...." Nightmare laughed, before placing Twilight in her chambers.
In Ponyville the rest of the mane six were gathered at the Golden Oak Library. They were with Spike, trying to figure out what to do.
"How are we going to get Twilight back?" Spike asked.
"I don't know. For all we know that Nightmare pony could use mind control and get her to,I don't know, destroy us." Rainbow answered.
"Oh darling, I don't think the element of Magic is that weak." Rarity announced, rolling her dark blue irises at the cyan Pegasus.
"Ya never know, Rares." Applejack said for her friend.
"I guess. But, I do highly doubt it." Rarity half agreed.
"Should we go to the Canterlot Castle? Maybe, um, Nightmare ~" Fluttershy started.
"I know! What if we go to the Canterlot Castle! Black Snooty might have taken Twily there! Oh! I could make Queen Meanie a cake at her party! Cupcake?" Pinkie interrupted, holding a cupcake up.
Her friends all blinked. "Pinkie Pie, you, are, SO, random." Rainbow declared.
"I know!"
"But she does have a mighty good idea, if ah do say so mahself." Applejack said, nodding.
"Indeed. We will leave at, um. How about in a hour? You know, since we can't really tell time by the sun." Rarity pointed out.
"Okie dokie lokie!"
"Sure, why not."
"Kay then."
"Um, yay?"
"Okay then. We will meet back here in a hour." Spike said.
"Are you sure it's a good idea to bring you along, Spike?" Dash asked.
"What?! Why not? I'm Twilight's number one assistant! Why wouldn't I go!"
"Well, it's just that Nightmare might hold ya hostage. Being Twi's lil' bro." AJ pointed out.
"Please! I just want to be there for her!" Spike begged.
They all looked at each other. In time they all nodded in agreement.
"Okay, Spike." Rarity finally said.
"Yay!!!!!"
"But let's hurry up, guys. Twi is going to need us." Rainbow said.
They all went out of the library to go to their own homes.
"Uh... My head." Twilight groaned.
"Hello, my child of the night."
"Wha? Nightmare Moon!"
Nightmare walked out from the shadows. "Feel better?"
Twilight nodded. "Very, Queen Nightmare."
"Please, for you, just call me Nightmare."
"Okay."
"Now, you are probably wondering why you feel so good." Twilight nodded. "Look into the mirror. I cast a spell so you can see yourself."
"Why wouldn't I be ~" Twilight's jaw dropped. Her body was a lot more athletic looking. Her horn was sharper. She had blood red eyes. Rows of razor sharp fangs were lined in her mouth. Two extra longs fangs were in the front.
Twilight looked up at her mane. She had a slightly darker blue than usual, like how her coat was a few shades darker too. But instead of pink and purple highlights, she had blood red and dark purple. Lastly, her irises laid on her new wings. Bat wings. They were a lot bigger than Pegasus wings.
"Woah... I look, BEAUTIFUL!" Twilight exclaimed, a huge smile on her face, showing her fangs.
"Do you know what you are?" Nightmare asked.
"Hmm... Am I a vampire?" She asked.
"Yes. Or you can call yourself a vampony."
"Does this mean what I think it means?" Twilight's curiosity got the better of her. She knew the answer already though.
"Yes, you have to drink blood from ponies."
Twilight's irises shrank as small as they could go. "But, d-do I... I have to k-kill ponies?" She stuttered.
"It depends on if you're that hungry." Nightmare replied as if it was something she said everyday.
"When do I need to, um, drink?"
"Every two weeks at most. Speaking of which, you need to drink off of five ponies before two months or else you will go on a rampage. By drink off of five ponies, I mean drink then and make them drink from you too. Like what I made you do."
"What?!"
"Yep! And if I'm correct, it seems your friends are heading over here to come get you. Perfect timing huh? Looks like you have five friends you can turn." Nightmare smirked.
"No! I will NOT turn my friends into vampires!" Twilight shouted.
"In due time...." Nightmare cackled before leaving Twilight with her thoughts.
