General Diane Pie: Equestria's Elite
Prologue
The Final Battle
General Pinkamena Diane Pie was one of Equestria's Elite Fighters and General to a, if not the, top Earth Pony Battalion dubbed as the Stone Crashers. Her sister Maud Pie was her Lieutenant General and always had her flank just as she had hers, both were dubbed as the 'Twin Titans for their monstrous strength that stood out even among their strong race of Earth Ponies.
The Stone Crashers were one of the strongest, trained personally by both of the Pie Sisters and was a very hard and bone breaking training experience as they regularly punched strong slabs of stone until it either cracked and crumbled easily from one of their punches. Some could even manage to crack or break metals, Pinkamena and Maud were one of those few who could and were even in the more rarer some who could nearly break a magical barrier of a regular Unicorn Soldier from the Crystal Empire.
They trained their bodies well beyond their limit and although they were no match to an alicorns full strength, Pinkamena and Maud proved that they could last against an alicorns strength at its lowest and that was saying something. Queen Celestia had offered to spar with her one time and was quite impressed when the sisters lasted with her even though she wasn't at her true strengths, impressive indeed.
Celestia was appointed Queen a couple of years ago for a reason that not many ponies knew but with the war going on they didn't really care much.
Yes, the war with the Crystal Empire that was ruled by the tyrannical ruler King Sombra. Many years ago the Crystal Empire came back, the pie sisters were mere fillies when the first attack happened. They had lost most of their family in the ongoing attacks, losing their parents and one of their sisters Limestone Pie in the attacks as the years went by. Their last sister was thankfully safe base at Appleloosa, working as one of the miners and farmers at the base and was really disapproving of them joining the militia and fighting at the front lines but could only cheer and hope for them both to return and for the peace to come back.
17 years had gone by since the return of the Empire bringing along the evil being that had started the war, though the war had forced Equestria's technology and magic to evolve the war was bad and nearly half of Equestria was under King Sombra's iron hoof. They had lost Canterlot a few years into the war and that forced ponies to smaller villages and transforming them to bases and some to cities but thankfully they had managed to reclaim Canterlot 3 years later, they had nearly lot Cloudsdale but thankfully it now stood strong besides Canterlot no longer floating adrift along the land but merely staying in place now.
Anyway, back to Pinkamena and Maud. Both had quickly moved through the ranks with their strength and intellect used to their advantage. Pinkamena was strong but was less as strong as Maud but Maud didn't have Pinkamena's sharp and quick thinking and was mostly the tactician of the two. At age 18 they earned the ranks of General and Lieutenant General but that was mostly due to their last General's and Lieutenant's dying breaths and last declarations.
Now they were 24 (Maud) and 23 (Pinkamena) and were strong scarred yet beautiful mares that were forged in the flames of war, and now was hopefully the final battle for Equestria's peace.
After all these years they finally managed to pierce and break their way through the Crystal Empires defenses and here they were now fighting for their lives and futures in this last battle.
Their Queen was confronting the monster now in the castle while her forces were fighting against his own, ponies were being injured and dying left and right staining the once beautiful crystal-made empire's grounds bloody crimson red. Pegasi, Unicorns and Earth/Crystal Ponies from all sides were attacking, horns alight with deadly spells, wings both artificial and flesh were beating desperately fast to out match the attacks, hooves were thundering against flesh, stone and more or were wrapped around a deadly weapon.
On the battlegrounds among the ponies were the two famous earth pony sisters and were fighting with all their might, grounds, bones, armor and sometimes magic cracking underneath their hooves and their blades in a deadly dance. Pinkamena Diane and Maud Pie dressed in snug but protective armor, black suits that were enchanted and sewed to protect with lines of pouches filled with items that they needed ranging from medical pills and pouch-fitted equipment to small deadly weapons hidden within.
Pinkamena had a small scar above her brow in the shape of a cross and a big three slashed scar across her right cheek, Maud on the other hoof had a small chunk of her upper right ear missing and had a single slashed scar going from her left cheek to her neck.
"Cider's on me when we win this Pinkie, and a rematch to boot!" Declared the gray coated mare as she bucked away a Crystal Guard all the while dodging their spear, a sarcastic grin on her face "Cause I swear you cheated the last time!" she continued as she and her sister soon stood on two legs back to back and side by side.
The younger pink coated sister rolled her eyes but had a small smirk on her scarred face "Suuure" she drawled as Maud wrapped her hooves around her torso and twirled as she repeatedly kicked away the incoming ponies and hissed when a battle axe nicked her hoof but thankfully that was just it as it missed chopping off her back leg. That was another close one that she had on her list of attempts to cut off her hooves, thankfully nopony managed to do such a thing as she was much stronger with her real hooves rather than a prosthetic ones.
Maud was always the more cheerful of them both saying if they were both serious than who would make her smile? Long ago Pinkamena would've had the potential to be the one to cheer them up but it simply wasn't so. Out of the both of them she was the more serious one, especially during a battle but her sister always made the effort to at least see a smirk on her face in battle. Strangely it kinda felt... off but she wouldn't do a thing to change it as she focused more on winning the battle with her plans and tactics.
She grunted as a Crystal Soldier tackled her stomach, a pegasi she noted with the wings which were quickly flapping to add more strength in the attack. The underside of her armor/outfit was thankfully padded and more guarded after an incident with a unicorn from one of her previous battles made her paranoid and had their stomachs protected more, she snarled at the nameless soldier as she stood her ground and managed to throw them off and had quickly dislocated the pegasi's wings managing to break the small part of armor that covered the base joints along with it.
Maud was doing alright against the two ponies that were trying to attack and permanently injure her, two earth ponies to be exact. The stronger sister bucking them off and also managed to kill one of them to prevent them from driving a sword to decapitate her head, she had no choice unfortunately with that.
They had both killed, that was war as it always had somepony killing another one. While in battle they were barely affected anymore but they always regretted each pony that stained their bloody hooves, everypony that stained their hooves.
"How *pant*long will this last?! *pant*I hope Queen Celestia's close *pant*to winning soon!" Maud panted as they were bestowed with a brief moment of rest as they hid behind a slab of dark purple crystal.
Pinkamena panted along with her, on her back ignoring the fact it was uncomfortable with her gear on "I *pant*don't know, but hopefully *pant*soon. If we don't win this today then it's *pant* over, we won't be able to retaliate *pant* in a long time! We have most of our*pant* troops and almost all the generals here!" she replied as her sister took out a flask to drink, Pinkamena accepted when she offered and gulped down the liquid potion and felt some of the pain recede bit by bit.
Maud quickly scanned around before grabbing a roll of bandages from one of her pouches and wrapped around the wound that was on her left forehoof to stop the bleeding, it wasn't deep but the bleeding was a problem. She didn't bother to dress the other wounds as they weren't bleeding as much, that and the potion in her flask was already slowly speeding up her healing, she handed her roll of bandages to Pinkamena who swiftly took it but thought twice and just pocketed it again ignoring the pointed glance she got from her sister.
Both sisters twitched as they pushed away from the crystal slab in time for a spell to blast it to smithereens as a group of crystal unicorn soldiers made themselves known. Pinkamena scowled at them, hating the unicorn soldiers the most because of past experiences as she and Maud dodged the incoming spells.
It seemed that this group of hypnotized and controlled unicorn soldiers were trained very very well as they were more coordinated and had more deadly spells in their arsenal.
And so the Pie sisters fought once more in another battle for their lives, before they had been separated from their troops but they managed to regroup with them. The battle that their battalion was fighting merged with the unicorn group as they all fought once more.
"Watch your flank Commander Braeburn! And you! Cadet get your comrade to safety!"
"Sir, yes sir!"
"General, Lieutenant! Incoming Pegasi battle ahead! General Dash is in sight along with Lieutenant Dust sir!"
"Get your flanks moving! Move and evade! Move and evade! We're merging with the Thunder Volts Battalion, defend and evade for now until we've merged with the Pegasi Batallion"
The Thunder Volts were one of the elite Pegasi Battalions out there, just under the Hail Storm Group.
"General Pie, Lieutenant Pie! Nice to see you again."
"Lieutenant Dust, General Das- Look out General Dash!"
"BUCK--!My thanks Lieutenant Pie. The enemy is slowly thinning! Ponies attack!"
"Follow the pegasi's lead and attack! Earth ponies focus on the unicorns for now but defend the pegasi when you have the chance!"
"SIR YES SIR"
Pinkamena panted as she, her sister, General Rainbow Dash and Lieutenant General Lightning Dust stood and fought side by side "Where's the Mana Beam Batallion?!" She shouted out as she kicked a pegasi away from her rainbow maned friend.
General Rainbow Dash and Lieutenant Lightning dust were in similar outfits that Maud and Pinkamena had on but were colored with the Wonderbolts color scheme in honor of the brave fliers that once were the best flying performers/pegasi guards of Equestria, nearly all of the Wonderbolts were dead, injured or in a coma from the first battles and the only difference were that they were different color and had less pockets than the earth ponies.
Rainbow Dash had a big scar over her left eye, a chunk of her left ear was missing and her left wing was a prosthetic, Lightning Dust had the top of her right ear missing and had a scar across her muzzle.
"On the other side of the castle! Unfortunately they're dealing with most of the changelings and the rest of the crystal earth soldiers! Some of our ponies are there but they should hold out for a little while longer, I know General Sparkles and Lieutenant Dancer are there so they should be fine! Hail Storm are out of the borders fighting the rest changelings and the few dragons along with some of the Mana Beams!" Lightning Dust shouted back as she aimed a lightning bolt from her lightning-powered sphere at a unicorn cursing when it blocked it with a strong magical barrier.
The 'Thunder Sphere' contained several volts of lightning and was mostly used by the pegasi's from above.
Rainbow Dash tackled an enemy pegasi from out of the sky and blocked a spell from hitting her face with her prosthetic wing, narrowing her eyes she headbutted the daring unicorn as her fake wing smoked and pulsed as it purged the enemy magic from its metal. It had been enchanted to do that and block most spells.
The blue pegasus whirled at the sound of a pained shriek from a familiar voice "Lightning Dust!" she screamed as she sees her lieutenant being shot out of the sky by a spell to her wings, she was about to fly to save her from crashing to the ground but was interrupted two more pegasi jumping her but thankfully she saw one of her troops saving the green coated mare instead.
But still the pegasi fought hard and quickly to get to her Lieutenant "Status report on the Lieutenant Lightning Dust!" she ordered as she flew across towards the small group of ponies protecting the downed lieutenant.
She stilled at the sight of her friend's charred wings, feathers smoking and mostly black not to mention it looked like one of her hooves was dislocated from the shoulder "Her wings are burned and her left forehoof is dislocated! I'm not qualified enough to treat and identify the total damage on her sir! Requesting to withdraw with Lieutenant Lightning Dust to the nearest Unicorn Healer sir!" the earth pony checking her urged, grinding her teeth she nodded ordered him to protect Lightning Dust with his life and to make sure that he find her the help she needed.
The pegasi general ignored the weak protests her lieutenant had and went back to battle, mentally looking for the unicorn that injured her friend and comrade.
"Looks like Lieutenant Lightning is down!" Maud panted as both sisters stood together, internally sympathizing with her fellow lieutenant and her general knowing fully well on what they were feeling. Pinkamena gulped as she panted, both her and Maud were well nearing their brink of exhaustion as the battle drew on.
While they had large stamina they were nearing their exhaustion point as they had fought since dawn and while she didn't know the exact time she knew it was well nearing night as it was slowly getting darker not to mention they had fought and subjugated a flock of changelings that were in their way as they went to the Crystal Empire the day before.
Everypony were nearing exhaustion with some already there with it, if the battle lasted more than tonight Equestria may very well lose their elites and possibly their ruler and couldn't let that happen! No matter what! But they hope their Queen was near in defeating Sombra soon!
With ending that train of thought Pinkamena glanced at her sister and her eyes widened as she saw her sister fighting a some pegasi on the ground and three unicorns in the background almost hidden, their horns were alight with magic ready to use and her sister was too focused on the pegasi to notice!
'No! I'm not losing Maud!'
Maud breathed heavily as she finally managed to defeat the three pegasi that were attacking her, they were really well trained, she stood on slightly shaking hooves that were shaking from exhaustion dear Celestia she was tired! She managed to sigh before she felt a sudden pain to her side as she was harshly shoved from her spot, she looked back from the ground only to see Pinkamena in her place and not a second later three dark colored flashing spells blinded her briefly.
Her sight returned to the sight of her sister gone, only the charred crystal grounds was there in place of her sister.
There had been no slow motion time, no soundless moment, it all happened in a sudden moment and the sound of battle ringed around her ears as she stared at the charred spot and tears appeared in her eyes as a flood of emotions overtook her.
"PIIIIINKIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Maud stood emotionlessly as ponies cheered around her, thought some were as emotionless and quiet as her.
On the balcony of the Crystal Empire's Castle stood a disheveled, injured Queen Celestia declaring loudly with determined victory that the tyrant King Sombra had been defeated. The hold he had on the crystal ponies had instantly snapped and now there were ex-soldiers standing around in confusion but that confusion cleared quickly by the cheering and declaration of Sombra's demise and they joined the cheering.
Beside her, Rainbow Dash puts a hoof on her back with a grimace on her face but sympathetic look in her eyes. The grimace was towards the blood that covered her, after her sisters 'death' she had gone unto a rampage killing the crystal ponies in a blind rage until she was snapped out of it by both Commander Braeburn, General Rainbow Dash and Lieutenant Moon Dancer moments before the crystal ponies were freed.
The victory and now won peace passed through her head along with the looks of sympathy, fear and shock some ponies were sending her. Her bloody hooves cracked the crystal ground as she dug them through the hard surface forcefully as she remembered her sister forcing her away from the three-way spells and tears dropped from her eyes but she stayed silent.
Equestria may have won their peace but Maud Pie had lost her sister.... how was she going to tell Marble?
Meanwhile...
A flash of colorful light filled the ruins of the castle as a bleeding injured pony appeared with it. The pink colored pony gasped for air as it collapsed on the ancient floors, desperately reaching for a her flask that she greedily drunk with fervor but a wave of exhaustion hit her and she collapsed completely on the ancient grounds with her very well flask empty dropped on the ground.
But up in their chambers in Canterlot, two ponies shivered as they felt a wave of magic wash over them signalling something that they didn't know of and in Sugarcube Corner within Ponyville a party loving pink pony gasped as it woke up all of a sudden in the middle of the night.

Chapter I
Confusion
Pinkamena felt weak, exhausted and pain all over her body as she groggily woke up 'Bloodloss... If I don't bandage... my wounds soon, I'll die from bloodloss' she thought immediately as she forced her eyes open. She forced her exhausted body to move and reached for the nearest pouch that had any source of medicine or a roll of bandages, her aching body followed her wishes as she sat up and used a shaking hoof as some support.
She wrapped the roll around her injured hooves and reached for some patches and a small roll of medical tape to patch up the wounds she couldn't wrap completely. She gasped deeply and felt her dry throat and looked for her flask quietly cursing as she sees it on the ground but was glad to see there was at least some liquid left, she drained the bottle down her throat and sat still on the ground as she felt the liquid help her healing and acted as some sort of painkiller.
As she sat she observed her surroundings, confusion lacing her mind as she confirmed that these were the ruins of the Castle of the Two Sisters Celestia and Luna. It looked.... ruined but not recently attacked ruin but ancient ruin but that can't be, they had converted the old castle to a base and semi-castle after Canterlot was attacked! Even more how in Celestia's mane did she get here?!
She sniffed the air and was surprised to smell the lack of smoke that was accustomed to the air ever since the war, she shook her head and observed the damage she took. Her suit was strangely charred along the seams but she didn't really feel burnt besides the spots the spells hit that was already patched up, unfortunately she didn't have any burn salve and had to ignore the pain from it.
She really needed to find the nearest Healer soon, her wounds might already be infected and though she dressed her wounds as best as she could she was no healing expert. Maud was the more knowledgeable in things like that out of the two of them.
She paused as she thought back to her sister, her face darkened as she remembered the attempt of her sisters life and lightened in relief as she remembers pushing her out of the way of the three-way spell. She blinked before concluding that the three-way spell somehow sent her here... But that didn't really explain the missing base and how she was still alive.
She shook her head and focused on finding the nearest infirmary or healer, if she recalled correctly there was a small town that helped the base. Ponyville... she thought to herself as she slowly stood up, feeling a bit more rested but still felt the exhaustion in her bones and muscles.
Slowly she moved through the ruins and tried to find the exit of this ancient castle, mentally recalling the way back to Ponyville as she did. She paused as she felt a shiver hit her.... her instincts tells her this situation was both good and bad... oh joy.
"You felt WHAT?!"
The five mares plus one dragon gasped out to the sixth mare within the crystal-made room as a seventh mare tilted her head in confusion.
"I already told you guys! I felt a REAL DOOZY! My whole body just jolted awake last night and I keep feeling shivers down my body! I don't even know what the shivers mean!" the sixth mare declared with a rare frown on her pink muzzle, said mare was one Pinkamena Diane Pie or as her friends call her Pinkie Pie the resident party planning and throwing pony in Ponyville! Also the Element of Laughter!
"This is perplexing, but what I do know that this can't be good" a dark haired alicorn declared, she was one Twilight Sparkle Princess of Friendship, Element of Magic and former student of Princess Celestia.
"Well, maybe it is good? I mean, a doozy can mean anything so maybe its a good thing?" a butter-colored pegasus suggested meekly, she was one Fluttershy resident animal care-taker and Element of Kindness.
"Yes maybe dear Fluttershy is correct! These doozies can be quite unpredictable but maybe it's positive thing." a white coated unicorn injected politely, her name was Rarity fashionista and the Element of Generosity.
"Ah don't know Rares, maybe Twilight's right. Most of the doozies we've 'ncountered were mostly bad" A stetson wearing earth pony replied, her name was Applejack a local apple farmer and the Element of Honesty.
"Well if it is bad we can take it! 'Sides! We'll know as soon as it happens again with Pinkie's Pinkie Sense!" a rainbow maned pegasus declared with a confident grin, her name was Rainbow Dash one of the fastest pegusi in Equestria and the Element of Loyalty.
"Um, sorry to interrupt but what's 'Pinkie's Pinkie Sense'?" the light pink unicorn interrupted , it belonged to the newest residence of Ponyville and newest guest in Twlight's Castle Starlight Glimmer, former 'enemy' of Twlight and her friends and newest friend to them as well. She had been recently reformed by the purple alicorn.
"Oh, Pinkie's Pinkie Sense is exactly that! Pinkie has some kind of weird super powered sixth sense that lets her tell the future!" the only dragon in the room, if not in Ponyville, helpfully explained, his name was Spike Twilight's number one assistant and little brother.
Starlight just sent him a confused look, Twilight just shook her head gaining the powerful unicorn's attention "Just don't question it, I tried and I burst into flames trying to make sense of things" she told her dryly as she remembered the time she burst into flames by the swamp.
"Oookay" Starlight replied uneasily with a slow nod.
Twilight sighed before focusing back unto Pinkie "So, any ideas on where the doozy might be Pinkie?" she asked, the party loving pony paused and thought for a minute before shaking her head.
"Strangely enough, no"
Fluttershy suddenly gasped making everypony glance at her in concern "Oh dear, I left in such a hurry because of Pinkie I forgot to feed my animals and I have to get to Zecora's to pick up a potion for Harry and his cousins! I'm so sorry girls but I really have to go, I'm really sorry" the meek pegasus apologized and got out of her seat.
"Um, Fluttershy wait a minute!"
Fluttershy stops, already half-way towards the door and looks back to see the concerned look of her friends "Are you sure you're okay going into the Everfree on your own? It's dangerous to do so" Twilight asked with a frowned and was surprised to see the kind smile she got from the pegasus because there was no fear or concern but quiet confidence and relief.
"Don't worry girls, Harry and my other animal friends will be coming with me to see Zecora! So I'll be fine!" she faltered for a second with doubt but came back with a determined smile "I promise!" she says and smiles brightly as her friends conceded and sent her off with relieved smiles.
'I'll be fine!... I hope'
Pinkamena let out a frustrated huff as she trekked through the forest "What happened to path? I swear Queen Celestia created a safe path from the castle to Ponyville the last time we were stationed here" she said to herself as she quietly moved through the greenery.
Yes, after the attack and invasion of Canterlot Queen Celestia decided to reuse her old castle. Making a safe pathway from the once small town to the castle, the path had been quite big so multiple big carts of various supplies could easily walk together to the castle.
The pink pony paused to take a short rest, leaning against a tree and drinking from her refilled flask. There had been a river filled with clean fresh water and it was quite refreshing, she ignored the twinges of pain that flared from her wounds and was quite happy to see that they were no longer bleeding anymore. Hopefully they weren't infected or something else.
Pinkamena breathed deeply through her nose, enjoying the clean air before shaking her head and continuing her unseen path and would hopefully find the town before night fell or somepony or thing attacked her in her weakened state.
She traveled in silence, her experienced yet tired hooves clopped silently against the dirt and grass. Pinkamena observed her surroundings, caution in her eyes as her paranoid mind tried to mentally prepare for anything that might happen. It saved her and her ponies before and she new it would continue saving her in the future.
And so the war-torn pony continued through the forest, unknown of the future that would cause her headaches, pains and more but one thing was for sure.
She would learn a lot, whether she would want to or not.
Fluttershy quietly hums as she trots on the small self-made path back to her cottage, her saddles filled with potions and some exotic herbs that Zecora gave her "Oh it was so nice of Zecora to give me all these herbs and potions! And we have the potion to fix your cousin Barry's brittle back! And I can't wait to try these new tea herbs she gave me" Fluttershy chirped to her company.
Her company being Harry the bear, Angel Bunny, a few birds and strangely enough Owlouicous. Lately the owl hasn't been spending much time with Twilight, Fluttershy thinks that the owl was still quite sad at the fact Golden Oak's Library was destroyed in Twilight's battle with Tirek. The poor owl loved that library and though she was slowly getting used to Twilight's new Castle she just missed the tree library very much.
Fluttershy frowned as the thought of Tireck and his destruction came back into her mind, she shivered as she remembered the helpless feeling she had when she was drained. Not to mention the draining itself was a horrifying experience, even after all this time she sometimes had some nightmares about the whole experience but Princess Luna was thankfully helping her experience with it and thanks to that she rarely got the nightmare anymore!
She smiles as she hears the concerned chatter of her animal friends "Don't worry, I was just thinking" she tells them as they head back. She looks up to the sky, well what sky she could actually see from the Everfree's trees somewhat blocking her view. It was coming close to late afternoon now, they should hurry home before it gets dark!
"Come on, let's go home before it gets too dark or something bad happens" she whispers and trots a little faster, her mood lightens when she hears the encouraging growl from Harry.
Meters away from them, hidden among the heavy foliage multiple yellow orbs moved slowly as a soft growl permitted the air. A few more meters away however, a pink pony was gradually catching up.
After a few stops to drink and rest Pinkamena felt rested enough for a silent trot, going slightly faster than her past pace. The foliage of trees were lightening somewhat in her eyes she she observed during her trot, her slightly scarred yet full ear twitched at sounds and trying to find any threat that might come harm to her.
Her exhaustion let up some, she felt more energized despite her constant movement but sometime sooner or later she would crash once again and hopefully it would be in the hooves of an experienced healer and not into the jaws of a beast of a timberwolf.
She hesitated a bit but continued on trotting with that thought, timberwolves, how could she forget? The couple of years during the re-establishment of the castle of the two sister the timberwolves were a problem. But the local Apple family helped with that with informing them on how to drive them away, at least temporarily. Eventually Celestia had no choice but to take care of the wooden beasts and some other hostile beasts and had them hunted down and them fashioned into enchanted weapons and equipment.
Ponies had been appalled at first but with the war going on it was quickly silenced, but that didn't mean they were okay with it.
Pinkamena was thankful she hadn't confronted a pack of timberwolves as she traveled and thought she knew she could take them, no arrogance there she had joined multiple hunts for multiple beasts timberwolves included, but it would hinder her movement and chance of survival. With the state she was now she wouldn't come out completely unharmed, her armor in tatters, charred and practically falling apart (the forest was no help, every now and then a tear would appear in the clothing part of her outfit and the hidden metal protection was scratched and brittle not to mention the enchants on them disappeared), her supplies low, her body injured and exhausted, she was weaponless and had no clue in what the hay was going on around her.
Pinkamena breathed through her nose and calmed her thoughts, panicking now would do nothing but kill her. She just needed to continue and hope for the best that she would come into civilization without any problems.
"..heeeeeeeeeelp!! SOMEPONY HELP US!!"
Oh her and her big mouth...
"Heeeeeeeeeelp!! SOMEPONY HELP US!!"
It had started out so well too. Now here she cornered with her animal friends between a giant dirt and stone wall and pack of timberwolves. Her bear friend Harry was injured and had been knocked out beside her, Owlouicous with a few of her bird drends had left for help after being nearly caught in a wolf's jaw. Angel Bunny was shaking in front of her, wanting to act like a shield but he was just as scared as she.
They were just walking when they appeared, they had been close to home from the point of the measure landmark on the path. The wooden wolves had cut in front of her and the other's and drove them off the path, Harry had tried to fight but was bitten and clawed before being knocking into the stone part of the wall behind him and was knocked out when two wolves jumped on him and then back into the pack.
She couldn't escape even if she wanted too, her wings were practically glued shut with fear and even if she was capable of flying she wouldn't dare leave behind Harry to the wolves. She could only have hope that somepony would save her, but with the wolves this close she knew that the others would be too late.
Fluttershy whimpered as tears fell from her eyes, she shakily reached for Angel and hugged him tightly to her chest and burrowed herself against Harry's fur as the growling and barking grew louder.
This was it, she was going to see her grandparents in heaven with all the other dead ponies and dead animals. Maybe she would even meet some extinct species up there. She closed her eyes tight and waited for them to pounce.
THUMP
'Huh?'
"Pick on somepony your on size you motherbucking pieces of rotten logs!"
'That voice...' "Pinkie Pie?" she quietly asked, hope in her voice as she opens her eyes to see her friend and savior not even minding the apparent language that was in that sentence.
Only for confusion cloud her as she stared at the pack of the pony that sounded too much like her exciting friend, not to mention she was hurt! She gasped as she saw the bandages and the tattered state of her strange clothing, she also saw the coloring of the pony and tilted her head in confusion, she sees the pink coat, the pink mane that were colored too much like her party pony friend!
She couldn't see the mare's face from behind but she gasped as she hears her friend's voice coming from the mysterious mare in front of her, thought now that she looked for it the voice was too cold and hard rather than Pinkie's bubbly and light tone!
"Come at me you beasts of nature, I guarantee you won't survive!" the mare growled as she crouched low and tense.
Fluttershy didn't know what to do as confusion, fear, and more swirled around her... then the pack of timberwolves pounced on the mare.
And a fight she would forever remember occurred right in front of her.

Chapter 1 achieved! Hope you enjoyed, was it a bit dramatic? A bit grim? I don't know I'm just starting out. 
I've read so much fics and the like so maybe I'm doing good? These things are written and checked by me only, I have no beta so if you see any mistakes please tell me and I'll correct them as soon as I can! And for the record, there'll be no certain schedule for these updates. I only managed to finish this in two days because I started this alongside the prologue. Anyway, the trash can is close for the day! I do hope you enjoyed.
