Which Apocalypse Do U Like?
Prologue 1: Pestilence.
I know it maybe cliché as all hell to start a story with I awoke with amnesia but it’s what happened at first. I didn’t remember a thing about my past. A wake up, taking a look at myself, I see my flesh rotting. Sighing for the first time I notice I’ve been breathing out a yellowy smoke or mist lined with a green hew of light. Looking at my body further, I come to see every scar, hole and say you that I had, produced this mist. It was disconcerting. So, I decided to see if I could stand up, I could not. At least not at first. For the next few days I laid there, trying my flank off to move. It was subtle but I noticed I was getting stronger, finally. Another day and I stood up. Taking another look at myself, I saw that my body seemed to be healing, again, it was subtle, but the smaller scars that was there, wasn’t anymore, and all the bigger ones, yes, getting smaller. On top of that, my memory seemed to be getting better. My name is Duke Bristle… I’m an Earth pony, bigger then most others… … … … no cutie mark? Wait… no. Looking at my flank however, I saw that I was healed enough to see a yellow mist in the shape of a skull and crossbones. I also have light green fur and black hair. Ok… so if memory serves, I once lived in a big city… … … Canterlot? Buck it. What about my filly? I wonder if she’s still… No!, she’s gotta be alive. Ok. First on the to do list. “Find my girl!”
Walking around this land I awoke on, I knew nothing, so I was just wondering around aimlessly. The lands I walked upon was a desert yet it was cold. I didn’t see any life till I saw some hours later. Out in the distance a spotted some ponies attacking a pair of other ponies. I don’t rightly know why I charged my way down there, yet it felt right. Getting closer, the pair seemed like travelers, a pegasus and an earth pony, being robbed by the group currently beating them senseless. Anyways. I did save the pair but the raiders tore off one of my ears and crippled both my hind legs. I slowly crawled up to the earth pony and pegasus and untied them.
The moment I did however the two ran to the dead and picked up guns. “What the hell type of Ghoul are you!?” One screamed as both turned the guns on me.
Ghoul? So that’s what I was. But…
“Yeah, what’s with all that yellow smoke?” the other continued. As they spoke I noticed that my legs where healing, my ear growing back. I took a step forward but the pegasus shot me, crippling a third leg, nearly tearing it off.
“Stay back!” the strangest thing I noticed about the ordeal was that I didn’t feel a thing. A moment of them talking among themselves gave time for my hine legs to heal enough to stand up. Made me wonder just how far this healing factor goes.
“Well I guess I’ll be on my way then.” I said. The pair gasps when they saw I was standing.
“How the bucking Hell did Yo—“ the pegasus was interrupted by himself, coughing up blood and gagging a little cause of it.
“Dollar!” the earth pony yelled. “What the fuck did you just do!” She yelled at me. I myself wondered if I was causing this. I just nodded my head. “Dollar! We…” the earth pony them coughed a little.
“The both of you should leave.” I said. My legs healed enough to try to run away. Not wanting to wait I turned and ran. One, I need to save myself, two, if it was me then logically the further I was, the less they were infected. I decided to stop. Looking back I saw that I was a good while away from them. The pair seemed ok enough; they got up and ran off.

A week passed of me avoiding ponies left and right, for various reasons. Finding a town here and there but still. It looked as if my body was healing fairly. I looked normal enough, say for my size difference and that damn mist. I came across a dead pony on the last day of the week with an odd looking suit. No holes could be found and a glass dome for the head. A radiation suit? Perfect! Convenient as all Buck that it fit me. It was lucky really. I carefully took it off the dead and put it on. I decided to test it out. I found a small town, went in side its borders. I went in the middle of town and waited. I stood like a statue for a few hours. In that time ponies did wonder about me but I did nothing. Ok so my theory was that, “This mist kills ponies.” With this suit, it seemed I was able to contain this poison. Satisfied I walked out. Looking for some raiders for my next test wasn’t that hard. In fact they found me within the hour. The packed surrounded me, guns pointed at me.
“Strip and we wont kill you slowly.” He said. I started to do just that, but all I needed to do was take off my helmet. A puff of yellow smoke came from my head, flowing through the raiders like fog.
“What the buck was that all about?” one asked.
“Wait for it.” I said smiling.
“Enough of this!” the leader said as he started up to me. Suddenly however he started coughing excessively. A moment of that the other followed, coughing, moaning and crying for help. It seemed the poison varied for each breed of pony. Pegasus were the first to go at 45 seconds, earth ponies, a minute, & unicorns minute: 15.
“I’m a plague, terrific.” I also come to see the fog dissipates rather fast though. Just 10 seconds & it was gone. Or it could be that the smoke just goes away without its link to me. Why’d I put that thought in my head? Oh well. And then there was the fact that, “I don’t think I like killing.” I said feeling a pain deep down in my gut.

Prologue 2: War.
I Bucking hate this. All this shit. Firstly to not remember a bucking thing when you wake up is a pain, then not being able to move for a few days afterwards, also a bucking pain in the ass! Shit! Anyways… so I guess I’m telling my story for now? Fine… Sorry.
I woke up not remembering anything, and with a body that smelled like it’s been decaying for decades, not to mention that I was on fire. I then started screaming my head off. It was so bucking frustrating! I couldn’t help it. However after a while I noticed that my being angry made the flames grow. It took me a while to calm down. I hated my situation so much I couldn’t help it. Buck… but I did eventually, and after a week of my just breathing but not without a few relapses here and there, I got better, I mean my body got better. It was fully healed. I still radiated heat like no other but it was manageable as long as I stayed calm. However, I have a bucking anger management problem.
Ok, so here’s the deal. The lands I walked on seemed to be night time… all the time and the only light that I had were the flames that came out of me… OH Yeah! So every hole I make on me spews out fire. Yeah, not blood. I found that out by tripping and cracking my head open a little. And, well, fire. On my head. I tested it out and blah and blah but sorry, off track. Ok, so I wondered around in the night for hours but then I came across a trader and his family. A mare and a son. They offered me to travel with them for a bit. I don’t know why I didn’t think that wasn’t a bad idea at the time but I can’t change the past. Ok. So we traveled for a few days without incident, however, the adults were worried about my temperament. Hell I was worried after a bit. I got pissed off over the littlest things. It was a few points in our travels that I offered to leave, but for reasons I still don’t get to this day, they wanted me around. They might have been using me now that I think on it. Oh well.
Continuing on. The next thing I remember is being attack by raiders. Then me going into a Rage… Then blacking out… … … … … … … And when I came to… Everything around me was ash. Just, Ash… taking a few breaths I looked around, Ash… But then I spotted a pile of ash moving and out popped a small hoof. Oh no…
So, the colt survived and judging by the amount of ash and the piles there of, I killed every pony here, except him. It goes without saying that I got pissed off. However, not wanting to kill him too. I actually didn’t think he’d be so calm about the news. I told him about myself and you know I killed his folks, but for some reason the kid started following me. He said that scents I did the deed I’m to get the full package. Meaning I just became a father. So say the colt of ashes. He thought that up, not me…. … … …
Right. Moving on.

The pair of us traveled for months and I got to say, the kid grew on me. He kept me calm for the most part; say for a few outbursts here and there but the ponies got what came to them I bucking swear. He was disappointed in me nonetheless. Then one day rather recently, I had to leave the kid behind. Why? I nearly killed him, why else?
I got pissed off as per usual... But he was to close this time… He got hurt… Bad… … … I got my memories back that day, all at once… Turns out I was a royal guard and a family man who failed in doing his duties. I got the princess killed, my family abandoned me, and just before the war started.
Yes there was a lot more Bullshit that happened to me. I guess it all came back to me because I abandoned the kid. Buck it; I just hope even with half his body scorched he’ll still find a way to be happy without me?

I know I’ve been loquacious this whole time… I guess that makes me selfish. No, Buck it, I am selfish, but my bucking goddess I don’t want to be… And I’m trying my Flank off Not To Be! For the Kid’s sake, For the Princess’s sake, For the sake of my family, who’s no doubt dead by now.
… … … … Ha ha ha ha ha ha… For my sake I guess… that just circles back to me being selfish, like… I want that kid to hate me. I crippled him, roasted him, and almost killed him. It’ll be easier to deal with that hatred right now more then anything. I don’t think I could deal with it if he actually forgave me…

… … … … … Right. Off track. As of right now I just want to let loose. I have so bucking much pent up aggression inside me right now, I can legitimately say, I am a walking Nuke.

Prologue 3: Famine.
“Dude! Hay! STOP!!!” In a field of blood, chains, and black crystal, a light blue mare with dyed pink hair, yelled at another as both run from something far behind them.
“Are You Bucking Kidding Me!” the one, orange with a striped green and blue main in front yelled back. “No Bucking Way I’m Going To Get Eaten By That Thing!”
“But it’s not chasing us!” the one in back yelled. “Come On, Stop Sandy!”
The one in front, Sandy, suddenly stopped. Causing the other to crash into her. “Wait…?” she said turning around. “Sappi? Why isn’t it fallowing us?”
“Like I’d bucking know.” Sapphire replied backing up a little rubbing her snout.
“It looked right at us?” Sandy said starting to look off into space.
“She looked at us yes,” Sappi replied looking over her shoulder “but I think she was more interested in the ponies she was already eating.”
“And how do you know it’s a girl?” Sandy asked as she started walking back the way she came.
“Wait! Hold up? Where you goin?” Sappi asked as she followed.
“Back to the beast. Where else?” Sandy said bluntly.
Made Sappi stop in her tracks. “Buck that!” she said. “Weren’t you just running away from it?”
“Ha! I know what you’re thinking.” Sandy said. Still walking.
“No, I don’t think you do.” Sappi said. “Hell, I’m out.” She had to raise her voice by this point. “Hay? If you survive this I’m still willing to trade with you.” She said then started walking off. Leaving this strange pony to fend for herself.
“Yeah Yeah.” Sandy replied.

Sandy walking towards the thing that scared the buck out of her just a moment ago. Well there’s a good explanation for that… She’s Bucking Insane! … … … No, but every pony who ever met her says Crazy, insane, mad, or even Bitch from time to time. But hell. It took her about twenty minutes to get back to the ‘monster’ and there it sat, finishing up it’s meal.
The creature in question was sitting in a grove of rock and powdered bone. Blood stained its hooves and mouth. Gray fur, but no other hair on it. If it were to stand, it’ll be about fifteen meters tall. Sandy disgusted yet in aw of the giant before her. That is in till it sniffed the air then turned it’s head to look at Sandy.
“Um, hay th-there big guy?” she sputtered. Why Sandy was going so far as to getting herself killed by an unknown monster was beyond any pony’s understanding. What she would say, “The cat’s got my tongue, I wanna kill it.” But this was just stupid. The first time the pair saw this thing; it was gorging on the dead and once it looked at the pair, they ran, of course.
Right. Ok so I made a mistake. She is most certifiably insane.
“aah hhha Hi…” it replied which made Sandy smile a little and hesitantly step closer. “nnn nn n No.” the beast sputtered. In turn Sandy stopped and tilted her head out of curiosity. The pair gawked at each other for a moment. Up in till the beast’s belly growled. Sandy surprised on just how loud it was. Then took a few steps back when the monster started crying. “aaah aah I. I’m.” it said just before it’s stomach growled again and it snapped at Sandy.
Not to worry, she dodged the charging maw like a boss. Landed on it’s head, then held on. “Ok! So you’re starving.” The beast then tried to swipe Sandy off it’s head but she jumped, slid down it’s neck. “You’ll eat anything.” It started flaying around, wanting Sandy off of it. “So. Why are you crying?” it then stopped. A few seconds of it breathing later, it turned it’s head to look at Sandy, still crying. Another moment of the pair staring each other down before it’s stomach growled again.
It then collapsed. “Ick ick I can’t…”
You can’t help it.” Sandy completed as she jumped off and slowly walked around. Sandy ended up next to it’s head. “Want me to end it all for you?” she asked.
The giant of a disfigured pony jerks it’s head up in shock and slowly turned it to look at Sandy. “B- bu, but, wha why?” it asked.
“You’re suffering.” Sandy said plainly.
It took yet another moment for the monster to reply, but, “Ye, yea, yes. Peh, please. I, I, I…” it had a look of both of gratitude and hunger pains. Sandy couldn’t rightly tell if it was thankful or wanting to eat her… Maybe both.
“I just have one request.” Sandy asked backing off as timidly as possible. The monster just nodded. “I need an hour. You think you can handle, just one hour for me? I don’t care if you die of hunger or even kill any other pony while I’m gone. I already got a way to kill yah. I promise. But…”
“You, na, need to,” it interrupted.
“Yeah.” Sandy said with a nod. She then turned and ran off, leaving the big guy alone.

“So that’s why you’re taking our one, highly sensitive, nuclear, explosive devise, to go blow the thing up into bits.” Sapphire said, sitting on an old couch, watching her wife rummage through their makeshift closet. The pair inside a trailer, half of it covered in a pond, and surprisingly there wasn’t a hole in sight.
“Yes.” Sandy said bluntly. Still looking. Throwing things all over the place.
“Fine.” Sappi said as she turned to the back of the couch and pulled out a mini nuke.
“What?” Sandy questioned, turning to spot thus nuke in her wife’s hooves. “Wher, why?” she sighed. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” Sappi replied as Sandy walked up to her and took the bomb. “And the detonator.” She added as she pulled it out from the cushions of the couch.
“Thanks again.” Sandy said smiling. Taking both items and walked out the door. A few seconds later Sandy came back in. “forgot a bag.” She said sheepishly.

A half hour later Sandy carrying a sack, showed up to the giant eating what looked like some raiders. “GODDESS HELL! SAVE ME PLEASE! ANYONE! PLEASE!!! I don’t want to…” before the raider had a chance to finish the beast chomped his top half off. Blood and gore splattered everywhere, including all over Sandy.
When it was done with the raider, it grabbed Sandy. “BUCK! Hay there. Big Guy!” she screamed.
It seemed to have heard her, or rather; I think it was more like it smelled her. It remembered her. However the moment it realized what it was about to do, it jerked back, dropping Sandy twelve meters off the ground. She landed with a thud and a CRACK on her back. It was lucky that the bomb didn’t go off. A deafening scream soon followed and the giant backed off in a panic. “Ya Ya You!.” It said. “aa aa I, I’m…”
“Shit Shit Hell Hell BuckBuckBuck!” Sandy yelled. After a little more of her cursing up a storm it ended with “Ouch…” breathing heavily she took a look around. Spotting the giant in front of her, shivering… Shivering? “Hay there, big guy? What you so scared of.” She spoke through the pain.
“Aaaa, I haa hrr hurt yauo.” It said as it’s stomach growled again.
“Y-Yeah” Sandy said plainly. “I don’t think I can move my hind legs either.”
“aa, haa I’m”
“Stop that!” Sandy interrupted. “I’m good for now.” She said trying to force herself to turn. “Funny, I think I’m going to die here.”
The giant gasped. “Ne, Na, No…” it said starting to cry once more.
“What the hell…” Sandy sighed. “First thing however.” She said pulling out the nuke from her sack. “I’m keeping my promise. Time to take your meds.”
The giant puzzled, it just crippled the tiny thing, and it was still helping it out? “b-b-but,”
“I said stop that!” Sandy said sternly. “I’ll deal with it later. Now do as mama said.” She said ending it with a smile and rolled the nuke as far as she could at the moment. Which wasn’t all that far but the giant got the hint. It slowly came towards Sandy and the nuke. “Eat it.” Yet another moment of staring but it took a chunk out of the ground as it swallowed the nuke whole.
“ahh and this W-will Ssth stop us?” the giant asked.
“Guaranteed.” Sandy said with confidence as she dumped out the detonator from the sack. The giant smiled as Sandy pushed the button.
Suddenly, the giant blew up. The explosion was massive. At point blank range Sandy got blown away hard. She was knocked out cold the instant it happened. Flying through the air like a ragdoll she ended up about a half mile away. A corpse landed on top of a radio tower in the middle of Sandy’s hometown.

A week later Sandy woke up from the sound of growling. She jerked upwards. “Sandy?” she heard a familiar voice off to her side. “Holy Buck your awake.” Sandy slowly moved her head still a bit disoriented spotted Sapphire by her side. “Shit Sandy. You had me going for a while.”
“Annnd um, what happened to me?” Sandy asked hearing another growl from something she couldn’t figure out.
“You blew yourself up Shitforbrains.” Sappi said harshly.
“Oh… right.” Sandy replied.
“Did you at least kill that thing?” Sappi asked.
“Oh, yeah… um, yeah.” Sandy said then slowly looking down. She saw her body was burned to the point of ghoulish decrepitness. “Huh?”
“Is that really all you haft to say?” Sapphire asked. “You’re practically a Bucking Zombie!” She yelled.
“Yeah, I guess so…” Sandy commented. “But to be honest… I’m just hungry at the moment.” She said sitting up. “I mean I’m really bucking Famished.

Prologue 4: Death.
Well actually, there is no reason to put a prologue for Death… It’s Death. Death at the moment is just roaming around killing folks. Doesn’t seem to have any reason for it what so ever… HOWEVER, that unto itself is just because of the story. Death does have a past, and it does have a purpose. However however, we’re not going to tell you just yet. Or else Death wouldn’t be but just a character. A character align with all the other cogs of life. But Death is as fact of Death itself. SSSSOOOOOOOOO. With that said. Take it as you will. Death will remain Death as of now.

This story is kind of a run of the mill type thing. However, I do have something special planned out.
However… Unfortunately I can honestly say I won’t be able to work on this plan… Not alone. =P
So in till I get some help with this. I cannot move forward with this story.
Three more authors… I’d think that’ll work… =P
The over all thing is. I don’t actually expect any help at all. =) & I’m utterly ok with that outcome. Just means I’ll be working on my other pieces of work more so then this one.
