The Wonderbolts and Rainbow Dash fitted into there dressed code outfits for the gala while everypony already tried on there outfits and left. Everything went smoothly and just as planned. Rarity gave the Bolt's some mane styles that they could use that would match. Everypony finished up and left the boutique. "Thanks Rarity I have no idea what we would've done see you tomorrow night!" Rainbow Dash shouted out to Rarity. "Goodbye!" "At least I'm not gonna start a panic up in HQ," Spitfire muttered. "Haha very funny Spit's also we have to get ready for the Gala well tomorrow. Are we staying in Canterlot?" Fleetfoot asked. "Yup but the thing is because there's not that much room, we'll be having to share a room with another bolt got that?" Hundreds of times they had to do the routine before they could take a break. The routine had to be so perfect because they are also performing in front of the Princess to. "Ok Bolts, I think we can take a 20min break you guys earn it I know I would say ten but you all look tired." Spitfire shouted. "Finally, I can actually get something to eat after that practice." Rainbow Dash was tired from practice but she kept going. "Hey newbie, already tired? Your already breaking sweats there." Soarin came up to Rainbow Dash behind her. She was doing up her mane and some of the other bolts who didn't know how to. "Welp, it's every 5 years. I've been in the bolts for about like nearly five years cause I joined after the gala. Also since when did you learn how to mane style?" Spitfire replied. "Um, two years ago. That's what happens I guess, I do it really good as well so you're all lucky you have me." *Knock, knock, knock* "WE'RE GETTING CHANGE SOARIN STOP KNOCKING!!!" Fleetfoot screamed out to him. Rainbow nearly went up for a hug to Soarin but started dragged her to the dance floor. "Hey, have you ever slow danced before?" Soarin asked Rainbow Dash. "No, never. I haven't learnt how to." She looked down to the floor but he went closer to Rainbow and lifted her head up. "I'll teach you, it's easy." Soarin taught Rainbow how to slow dance. She made a few clumsy mistakes but got the hang of it. Dash was finally able to master slow dancing, Rainbow looked up into Soarin's emerald eyes and smiled as did the same like Soarin. The two pegasus didn't know Rainbows friends were watching. "Aw, they just look super cute together!" Pinkie Pie whispered. "I know right, when are they gonna hook up?" Twilight asked back. "Not sure, time will always tell." Fluttershy whispered back. "Hey, wanna dance Pinkie, thats if yo---" Cheese asked Pinkie Pie. Wow, Dashie has a really great view from here. She looks so hot unchanging just stripping down right infront of me-----SOARIN you don't like her like tha-----she's always been wow Soarin was gathering up some dirty thoughts while Soarin was unchanging right in front of his crush. So as Rainbow Dash, she couldn't get undone which was quite difficult. "Soar, can you help me out? I'm not used to these things," Rainbow Dash asked nervously, Rainbow Dash blushed because of asking a stallion for help. "Sure Dashie," He leaned her body against his and help her out with the dress.Wow, he's holding me so nice and warm. Rainbow Dash flew over to Spitfire. "Just wanna make sure you can do the Rainboom and do it." "Yes ma'am," "Good," Spitfire and Rainbow Dash went over with the others to start warming up. Five minutes later, everypony had taken their seats for the show. Pinkie Pie, AppleJack and Fluttershy sat on the normal seats, Rarity was in the VIP section with Sweetie Belle and Twilight Spike Starlight were where the thrones were. "Good evening Twilight Sparkle," Princess Luna said happily. "Good evening Luna, I'm so excited seeing Rainbow Dash perform," Twilight replied back. "Yes very exciting isn't it. Oh it's starting now." The Bolts came in with a flashing entrance. There was Group 1 (Spitfire, Misty Fly, High Winds) Group 2 (Soarin, Rainbow Dash, Surprise) Group 3 (Fleetfoot, Wave Chill, Silver Storm) They came together and separated to the left, right and in the middle. Group 2 stayed in the middle flying high up into the air and Soarin down towards the crowd, group 1 and 3 created some lighting and thunder on the sidelines. All of the Bolt's Soared up into the air to perform a firework and Rainbow Dash left in the center of attention. OK Rainbow, do you best, Rainbow thought. When the rest of the Bolts headed to their sides Rainbow Dash flew up high and looped round twice able to create enough speed for her Sonic Rainboom. Gliding down towards the sky down she was able to get enough speed to create one, and she did it successful. Soarin looked at the Rainboom and it reminded him of the Royal wedding and the first time they met together. The ponies in the crowd went wild along with the Princesses. Everypony was prasing to Rainbow Dash how glorious the Rainboom was and it must've spread around Equestria, that was the fourth she'd had ever done before. Rainbows friends, the CMC, and the Princesses wnt up to Rainbow Dash to tell her how amazing the Rainboom was. "Rainbow Dash, THAT WAS AMAZiNG!!!!" Pinkie gave her a tight hug. "Thanks Pinkie, you girls like it?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Definitely, it was quite a sight seeing it for the third time." Princess Celestia replied. Rainbow Dash blushed a little bit but really like the compliment. "Crash, that was AMAZING!!!" Fleetfoot came right behind her with the rest of the Bolt's. Everypony complimented her and the Rainboom of how dazzling it was. "Well, are ya gonna say something Crash?" Spitfire asked her. "Yup, it was tough. All I can say is BEST DAY EVER!!!!" Rainbow Dash cheered away. "Hey Dashie, that was some Rainboom out there," Soarin came up behind Rainbow Dash. "Thanks Soar, how long is it until the end of the gala?" "A couple of hours, it's only 10pm. Why you hate this?" Twilight gave a smirk to Rainbow Dash. "What no, I love it as I said BEST DAY EVER," Rainbow Dash replied. "I was going to lie but what's the point really?" After the show a bunch of ponies came up to Rainbow Dash to how she pulled of another Rainboom. Rainbow Dash was added to the news papers Cloudsville Times, Canterlot Daily, The Crystal Mainly, and etc. Rainbow Dash certainly was having the best time ever and better than the last two galas. She was beat for the night and decided to head back up to her room but Soarin pulled her in. "Hey, leaving so soon?" He asked the rainbow maned mare with a smirk on his face. "Yea, *Yawns* I'm pretty beat." She replied. Dashies yawns are sooooo cute, Soarin thought to himself "Hmm, Dashie there's something I wanna tell you, follow me just over there." Soarin and Rainbow headed up to the cloud Soarin had pointed too. He gathered up all his courage to tell Rainbow Dash how he felt about her. The stopped, gazing at eachother eye to eye. Ok, Tell her how you feel about her and do it don't chicken it up "Wow, it really is a nice view isn't? Up on this cloud together, you and me alone," Rainbow Dash replied. She was leaning close to Soarin nearly for a hug. "Hmm, yea. D-Dashie, t-th-e-ere something I-I w-w-anna te-ll y-y-ou," Soarin couldn't finish his sentence. "Anything, you can tell me," Dash gazed into Soarin's emerald eyes with her rosy magenta eyes. They both blushed for a while while silence just surrounded tem. "Ok, I know this is gonna sound stupid but I-I-I'm i-i-i-n-n-n l-l-ove with you. Your so pretty, kind, adorable, cute, funny, smart and you're one of the best fliers I've ever seen before and I always black out because you're so beautiful and you make me comfortable and happy all the time." Soarin blasted out to Rainbow Dash softly. "......." She didn't say anything but blushed with complete silence. "I'm sorry I told you this, I'll go. Bye-----" Soarin started to form tears in his eyes. "Soarin, I-I-I feel the same way for you. I never told anypony about it and I was scared that you never like me like that. What I'm trying to say is I love you Soarin, with all my heart." Rainbow Dash aimed for Soarin's lips. Soarin opened his eyes wide but quickly shut them. The kiss was a nice long passionate one that it felt like it lasted forever. Rainbow Dash was on top of Soarin for the mean time when they broke the kiss. "I love you too, does this mean were a thing now?" Soarin asked Rainbow Dash. Rainbow nodded. "But I want you to ask me hot stuff," She commented to Soarin question. "Rainbow Dash, will you make me the happiest stallion and be my marefriend?" The only answer was that she kissed him. It was long and happy tears formed into Rainbows eye. She loved this kiss and she never wanted it to ever end. "Fleetfoot pay up," Spitfire told Fleetfoot while spying Rainbow Dash and Soarin. "FINE! you win, I'll pay you in the morning." They flew back to the their room together, took of their suits and went straight to sleep. Minutes later Soarin caught Rainbow Dash snuggling up to him for the rest of the night. "Dawww, does wittle Wainbow Dashie need a huggy wuggy?" Soarin used his baby voice on Rainbow. "Shut up and hug me stud," Soarin hugged her nice and tight not letting her go. "Y'know, I never knew you loved being hugged all the time. Where did 'stud' come from?" Soarin asked Rainbow Dash when returning the hug. "Just coming up with nicknames for my new handsome coltfriend which is practically you." Rainbow Dash kissed Soarin on the cheek. "Night Dashie, love ya." And Rainbow fell straight to sleep in his hooves. "aww, she snores so quietly," Soarin kissed her on the cheek. She blushed and smiled and came closer to Soarin. The next morning was a bright day. The sun had awoken most ponies by now, but Soarin and Rainbow were still asleep. They woke up at the same time to go and have breakfast with the Princesses. They met the rest of the Bolt's outside their room knocking on the door and waiting for them. Fleetfoot got annoyed that they didn't wake up in time. Spitfire tried to convince her not to annoy them. "*YAWN* Morning everypony, how are ya?" Rainbow Dash kicked the doors open with her legs to stretch them out. "Good, good, very good. What's up?" Fleetfoot asked suspiciously. "Not much." "Anyway, the Princesses invited us to a nice breakfast. How nice of them," Spitfire interrupted Fleetfoot and Rainbow Dashes 'pet talk'. "Wow, cool. Hope I get to see Twi." Rainbow Dash and the rest of the Bolt's flew over where they needed to be. The three alicorn princesses and the mane six were sitting on the table waiting for the Bolt's. "Heya gals whats up?" Rainbow Dash asked her friends. "Not much, we were just talking about you darling about what happened last night," Rarity giggled a bit. Oh no, I"M DOOMED!!! Don't be so dramatic like Rarity Rainbow thought to herself. "Yea, we couldn't help but notice you were dancing with Soarin under the spotlight, how cute and romantic!" Twilight explained. Rainbow Dash crazily blushed to the shade of BIg Macs coat colour, "HEY, you can't pick on me. Pinkie was dancing with Cheese so whats the difference?" Rainbow Dash. "C'mon, were just teasing ya Dash, we ya'll already teased her. Serouliy she was blush'n crazy like ya" AppleJack replied. "Mmm, these pancakes are delicious! Who made these?" Fleetfoot tasted the pancakes and loved them. "Well, I'm glad you like them. It's a way to say I care," Princess Celestia spoke up. "Yum, I love'm got anymore?" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. " I'm glad you all like them. Sister, you're back from the dream realm, Pancakes?" Princess Celestia rose up a pancake with fruit faces. "Sure why not, sister." Luna replied happily. "At least I'm not eating a banana peel like a couple of days ago." "So Dashie, we couldn't find you last night after the show, wanna tell us where you were?" Pinkie Pie suspiciously spoke up. Rainbow Dash turned to Soarin holding hooves with each other but everypony got a little bit confused apart from Spitfire and Fleetfoot. "Actually, me and Soarin are marefriend and coltfriend now," Rainbow Dash replied with a smile. "Yea, we were planning on telling you ponies at the end of breakfast but why not now?" Soarin replied looking at his marefriend. "Yea, yea me and Fleets saw the whole thing, pretty adorable and its all worth it. Fleetfoot gave me 50 bits, 50 BITS" Rainbow Dash and Soarin gasped and blushed heavily that Spitfire and Fleetfoot saw Rainbow Dash and Soarin together. "NOT a word Spits, Fleets," Soarin gave her the evil eye. "Ok, ok we never told anypony y'know," Fleetfoot replied. After some breakfast, the Bolt's headed back up to HQ and the mane six departed to Ponyville with out Rainbow Dash. Rainbow was happy that Soarin was her new coltfriend and was looking forward to spending time with him. It was a bit of a flight to get back to Wonderbolt HQ with their bags but the Bolt's managed. On the way over to HQ Fleetfoot was annoying Soarin with him and Rainbow dating now and coming up with weird ideas. Rainbow thought it was kinda funny and cute when he got teased like that, she blushed but Spitfire nearly caught. "Ooh, whatcha blushing Crash?" Fleetfoot came up to her with a smirk. "N-nothing," Rainbow lied. "C'mon, I've known you long enough, and your not lying you can tell me," "..........Why does this keep happening to me," The Bolt's got to HQ and dumped their bags in HQ. Spitfire and Fleetfoot kept teasing Soarin and Dash about them being in a relationship and coming up with weird ideas but they were happy for them like everypony else. Soarin and Rainbow went into the lounge and sat down for a while staring at eachother. Rainbow laid on top of Soarin, he liked it when she did it. She was warm and her fur was so soft. Who knew that Dashie is so soft even though if she can be a roughy tomboy, that's why I love her. "Hey you," Rainbow said. "Hey sexy," Soarin replied back. Rainbow giggled at Soarin's response. "Y'know, do ya wanna do something or just stay like this and cuddle?" Rainbow asked. Soarin just cuddled Rainbow Dash and she cuddled him back. They both fell asleep into each others arms. Many minutes later The Bolt's came into the living room to chill out for a bit. The both pegasus woke up seeing that the Bolt's had gone into the lounge room. "Wow," Spitfire replied. "OTP!!!!" Fleetfoot shouted. "Hehe this is going on muzzlebook, ponygram and snappony." Fleetfoot mumbled while chuckling away. "WHAT?!?" Both Soarin and Rainbow Dash replied. Before Fleetfoot entered into the lounge she took some photos of Rainbow and Soarin sleeping with each other. "Please Fleets, think of my awesome reputation please?" She begged Fleetfoot. "What reputation do you have? All you do is wake up and brag about you awesomest and nap on clouds all that is what you call a reputation?" Fleetfoot joked with Rainbow Dash. "What? That is not what I do all day," Rainbow Dash replied. "Hey, at least think abou--" Soarin couldn't finish his sentence. "TO LATE, it's posted everywhere," Fleetfoot started to exit the room so Rainbow nor Soarin could kill her. "She is so dead when we find her, right Dashie?"
