After some tampering with the magic mirror; the Mane 6, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and Trixie are accidentally teleported to a more primitive version of the human world where factions of knights, vikings, and samurai are locked in a never-ending war. Twilight and her friends find themselves separated from one another by the chaos and are taken in by each of the three factions. Now Twilight must figure out a way to find her friends, put an end to this war, and return home.
